Sudak noticed Fiory exit the cave after Bila announced the moment of dens once again. He could see the maternal instinct in her eyes that wanted to protect her cubs from anything especially the cold and Bila.
(OK THIS IS JUST TO GET THIS STARTED AGAIN, SO GO!)

Fiory’s face looked worried, and Bila gave her an annoyed wag and half grin, coming up to her and giving her a slight shove in the shoulder. “I wouldn’t do anything foolish, Fiory,” she growled. “We are just going to move them to the normal dens. We don’t want another snow storm.” As the words escaped her maw she clamped them tightly shut, looking anxious. The cubs had only been days old when the blizzard struck on the unsheltered pack. The cubs had been too small to travel, and Fiory would not leave them, so Bila had taken all the others back to the dens. The snow had been thick with cold and malice, and it blinded eyes and beat into pelts. She remembered the worry of getting lost, or losing someone of List in the torrent of snow. Relief had washed through her when the towering dens came into view, and all were accounted for in the welcomed warmth, except for Bristol. She had been worried, but decided to think he had stayed with Fiory. When they had trekked through the new snow, they discovered he was missing, and even Lyft could not find him.
A chill breeze blew through her thick pelt and she turned her head to see Denisha’s soft muzzle peer out of the small hole in the ground. She looked at her sadly, her niece never to know of a father. Bila shivered as she thought that, and quickly reproved herself in silence. He was strong, and for Fiory’s sake and the cubs sake, he would live.
But cold exception also accompanied the hope. With cubs and a mate, the big black wolf threatened her position. She had always expected to be overthrown, for even if she was just a good of a fighter as he was, he was bigger and heftier than the she-Varg. If he had challenged her and lost, she would have driven him out of the pack, and than Fiory might go with him. She admitted to herself it was for the best, for the growing tension would now be laid aside, and she could watch her family thrive without worry of someday being driven out.

[glow=purple,9,000]Fiory's tanned gold auditories stood on end, almost in defiance. Her tail was held fairly high for the moment, but worry still plagued her shimmering yellow gold hues. The storyteller and stargazer watched as Bila, her dear sister, looked upon the small Denisha, a pup now with her beginning eyesight and feeble stilts to walk upon. Her pelt was quietly shaking with the cold of the outside world and her blue eyes blinked several times at the brightness of it all.
Silent like the stars she looked upon, Fiory turned and nuzzled her eldest daughter back into the den with a gentle prod of her long black muzzle. Upon her wobbly puppyish legs, Denisha hobbled back inside a few yips being heard inside and two distinct other voices answering their older sister. All three cubs were now awake again. Dread and fear seized Fiory's mind, once so calm and confident. Her eyes did not go back to Bila, but they turned to look out across the way toward the beckoning forest and it's dark depths. The breeze that had wafted through Bila's thick coat now shifted her own, her tail lowering and waving gently in it's wake. Grief was beginning it's couse through her agile body. Golden orbs glistened like the stars they resembled and a tear fell down her ebony cheek. Reality was sinking in.
Bristol seemed to be gone, never to return again. Flashes of the past in the summer when they had both met, alone and broken hearted, only to mend one another in the feilds of summertime. She remembered the way his coat smelt, and how the course hair felt against her silky soft cheeks. She remembered the games they played as younger vargs, his smiling face, and kind voice. Their evening sunset watchings against one another's shoulders.
"Bristol...May I ask you something?" "Of course Fiory..." "Do you, care for me?" "More then any other she-varg around..." "Forever and always?" "Forever and always"
Another tear joined the first, and Fiory's breathing began to becom shallow in her own sorrow. A whine escaped her maw, as she continued to stare off into the dark forest, almost hoping, wishing that at that moment he would emerge from it's depths, his smiling face back to her, his black coat wafting like it always did, and his eyes shining with the love that was only for her. But after a moment's lapse, an egging voice in the back of her mind told her it would not be true.
He isn't coming back...he's gone.
Tanned auds began to fall, drooping as those golden orbs continued to search feverently through the darkness for him. It was then that that same hope she held so dear to spoke against the first pessimistic voice.
That is not true. He will return. He isn't...he can not be gone...He will return...you will see..
On that note, the storyteller's neck heightened again, her head held high once more and her ears erect. Her appendage began to sway again, and those golden orbs turned to face Bila once again. Sheknew she was right, she knew that her sister was correct in moving the den. It was not safe here anylonger for her family.
"Alright Bila...Let's move the cubs...But we should hurry...I don't want the cold to kill them..." She replied quietly, her voice soft and half silent in the air, clouds of smoke emitting from her maw as she went into the den and took out her son Orion, holding him gently in her mouth. Without a second glance at Bila, she began the decent toward the bigger pack dens. Fiory did not want to waste time and keep the cubs outside in the bitter winter cold for more then necassary. With a swish of her tail, she began down the hill, a soft flakey snow beginning to fall from the clouded sky, light and gentle, sticking to the wolven coats that plodded through the dark forest back to a warmer and safer place to stay, precious bundles in their maws....
"Forever and always?" "Forever and always.."[/glow]

[glow=white,2,300]My world of black and white...
Upon wobbly limbs to eldest daughter of Fiory and Bristol approached her mother with blue eyes soaked in aggrivation and blunt maw trembling with cold. Her pelt of inheritated ebony was thin and not even close to satisfactory in the arctic clutches of winter. "Mom: Dada," she furrowed her brow as she took a sweep of hopeful eyes up towards her mother. It was a look of bewildered irritation, as if she wasn't completely ready to throw her usal temper tantrum. Shatila began to growl histarically now, tossing her agape jowls as if in song. "MOM-AHHH!" she cried out as Fiory finally told Bila that they would be moving the cubs to a new densite.
Before she knew it her nape was hanging in the jaws of someone she wasn't quite sure of. Their breath fumbled above her head, warming the snow that settled atop her anger-creased forehead and causing it to melt. "DAADA!" she hollered out to whomever she could, making her body rock in the teeth of her carrier. "Stila wont Mom-ah!" she shook her body fitfully again before trying to wriggle backwards with her paws pressed on the wolf's chest and neck.[/glow]

(this post wont be as good as the one deleted *sniffles*
Emerald oculars turned and followed the drappa as she confronted Fiory. For a while Gryffin only sat and watched the two sisters converse clearign discussign the terms of moving the den site. The tri coloured varg sat still, her bushy tassle curled neatly around her back legs.
She turned her dial as she heard the soft crunching of snow under paws. Her orbs fell upon a male varg just about her age. His pelt blending in with his surroundings as he approached them. Gryffin barked and greeted Sudak with a wag of her tassel.
Gryffin then settled again and directed her attention back on the buisness. Fiory at first did not seem to obliged to even try to move the den. Gryffi nthen noticed somthing. She thought she saw the touch of loss in Fiory's eyes. Gryffin then knew. She's just worried. The tri coloured varg told herself. Though she too had not seen the ebon male around lately. But he was probably off hunting. With a large and growing family they needed lots of food.
Moments past when Fiory caved into her worrie and agreed to move the den. Gryffin nuzzled Sudak before trotting upto the tw oadult faes. "I will gladly help" Gryffin spoke soflty, her tassel wagging slowly. She looked down when she heard a sweet little voice, one that reminded her of Jade, her sister. Gryffin smiled at Shatila as she got lifted up by the scruff of her neck.
Gryffin cocked her head, "But shouldn't we check out the new den site first?"Gryffin stood and waited her ears pricked forward as her gaze went from Fiory to Bila and then back to Fiory, waiting for any orders.

[glow=purple,9,000]The ebony femme had not gone far. SHe turned and waited for her sister and her neice as it were, Orion hanging limp in her gentle jaws. A moment's time lapsed, and against her own motherly instincts telling her not to, the agile femme, set her young son down upon the snow to speak.
"Gryffin, I appreciate the help...Thank you. As for checking the new den site first, it would be wiser, but we are only moving a short distance away to the pack dens where everyone is stationed. So I would rather not leave my cubs for to long to go and scout it out. All I ask though dear Gryffin.." Fiory replied softly, her tassle wagging gently behind her as those tanned gold auditories stood straight foreward. "Is that you be careful with my daughter, your younger sister as it were."
Fiory had always seen, the older and yet still young cubs of Shatocwnn and Leohlic, as older siblings to her own. From the moment they were born, the stargazer felt that Gryffin would be a wonderful big sister to her young. Orion shook slightly on the frozen ground, and a whimper escaped his tiny black maw, looking up at his mother pitifully. Without hesitation, the agile storyteller lifted her son up into her jowls again, his body hanging limp once more as she held tightly to his scruff, though not nearly tight enough to puncure his fragile skin. Through gritted teeth, as she didn't want to set Orion down again, she barked out her orders, tail high and ears erect again.
"Gryffin, if you will take Shatila please, and either Bila or Sudak take Denisha, I would be most grateful. I do not want to come back for an extra trip that we do not have to take." More and more, the young female was acting like a drappa. Her mannerisms were stronger, and her voice was becoming more confident. Of course, as of this point in time Fioy had no intention of taking the position away from her dear sister Bila, though it would seem that way now wouldn't it?[/glow]

Gryffin smiled as she saw one of the pups muzzle peer out from the safety of the den. Tassel began to wag and a smile cracked upon the ebon lips of the sikla on that was very rare these days.
The List pup nodded and padded over to Shatila. "Boo!"Gryffin yipped as she faced the little she pup. "Come on we gotta go!" Gryffin paused as Shatila refused to move. Gryffin rolled her eyes playfully and picked up Shatila by her nape. Gryffin had a few problems getting out fromthe den but now it was smoooth sailing. The fae frowned and managed to still mumble through a mass of thick puppy fur in her jowls. "Yes, Stila go!"
Gryffin remembered when she had her own little mini tantrums and with her puphood she also remembered her siblings. Her brother Bale and sister Jade and how she missed them. But she missed Fernlick the most. Gryffinlifted her head high, bringing Shatila's bottom far away from the cold snow. She would care for these pups like her own siblings. She would again be the older sister.Though Gryffin was growing into a young adolscent, She still percieved herself as a pup. Gryffin walked faster and was able to catch up to Fiory who had the stealthy Orion in her jaws.
Gryffin paused waiting for Sudak and Bila to come along and she also side glanced to Lyft who was still lying comfortably in the snow. A straneg warmth seemed to overlap all other thoughts in Gryffin. How the List vargs were family to her and how she looked up at them as idols. Gryffin then looekd skywards to the somewhat clear blue sky and smiled. She knew her mother was up there now, able to run freely by Fenris's side, and dazzle at the twinkling lights with Tor. Gryffin also knew that Shatocwnn was watching over them, ever watching over her family.

The tall femora watched Fiory stick her head into the hole and delicately pull out Orion, and then turned towards the den. She walked with her head high and her tail waving like a banner behind her. Ferocity Bila had never seen in her sister seemed to be bubbling up, slowly changing her. Bila stared harder at the sleek form, but she could not find the answer to her sisters’ change, or what it truly was. A dark foreboding and regret filled her. She didn’t know what was to come, and she didn’t want the soft ebon Varg to change.
A small, dark brown cub wobbled on young legs through the cold, frozen snow, and Bila watched as she toddled spiritedly towards her Mother. A pang entered Bila, filled with Motherly sorrow. Her own children were gone: first Rage, then Syra, and now Kraz. She had repelled them all away, and she now had come to a conclusion. It was not Tor’s wish for her to have cubs, and because of her desire to, Tor had driven them away and killed them all. The Drappa sunk into darkness, her brow furrowed as she thought of young Rage, full of cowardice and sensitivity. Nature had dealt with him, along with his shy younger brother Kraz. And List had even bowed to the Goddess and killed Bila’s only daughter for her. She seemed destined to have no love, and she cast sad eyes at the cub again as the cold wind flew into her pelt, the inaudible voice of Tsuki filling the air, to blow away before she could truly detect it with her sensitive auds.
The high pitched yip hurt her cold ears, and she wearily watched her niece, undecided as of to throw a tantrum or not too. She possessed a dominant personality much like her brother, and no matter how much Bila reproved her, she would always run off to disobey. She was much like Syra had been, and the young Drappa always wanted to turn away from her, and at the same time watch her grow. The insistent voice broke out again when Gryffin finally heeded her pleas and picked the unruly youngster up into strong, tender jaws. Brown auditoria’s flicked back quickly in annoyance and she stepped forward, looking down upon the fatigued Gryff. She opened her maw to let her words flow out over her tongue, but Fiory began first. Bila closed her muzzle with a snap from her white canines, and felt surprise seep through with the cold. Fiory was holding herself erect, much more dominant than a Delta would. Her orders were clear, and she was not being as soft and quiet as usual.
The dominant femora immediately felt angered, and her hackles stiffened slightly as she stopped a growl. These were Fi’s cubs; she should have a right to be motherly towards them. Her next words surprised her thoroughly. Fiory was giving orders, orders to her. She was overstepping her boundaries. For a moment Bila was still, heated anger coursing through her blood. Gryffin bounded ahead with Shatila in her jaws, and Bila left Denisha in the little den and jogged up to her sister. She shoved her lightly, then stared into her face defiantly. “You don’t tell me what to do unless you want to challenge me,” she growled loudly, egging her sister on with her one eye. She had felt tension with Fiory and Bristol, but with him supposedly dead, she thought her problems had been put to an end. But it now seemed as if they had just begun, and the triggered Bila felt no love or pity for Fiory.

[glow=purple,9,000]In one swift movement, those tanned gold auditories of the brave and now dominant femora flattened against her agile skull. Orion still in her jaws, slightly trembling at his aunt's raised tone and because his mother had clenched her teeth down a bit harder then she wanted to. The pup winced as his loose skin was pinched gently, and then released again back to comfortality. A flame flickered from his mother's golden hues, dancing from one to the other. For all her life, Fiory had had no problem staring down friend or foe right in the eyes. And now it seemed she was doing the same to her dear sister. But this was normal of the stargazer, she always did this. For the first time in a long time, Fiory's own hackles raised in anger. Her sister was being rash, once again. Could she not see that she was giving orders for a purpose? She did not feel it right to stand around and do nothing. And with the pain of her mate possibly being dead seeping into her core, the place she had called sancuary was beginning to feel deathly cold. A growl echoed from her maw, her breath whipping against Orion's black fur, before slowly, softly, gentle as a doe, Fiory let her son down onto the cold snow for the second time. Her anger grew. This would be the second time for no apparent reason that her son would be sitting upon the frozen snow and ice, shivering when he could be warm. Her daughter's were the same way, both cold, and awaiting to be moved. This anger Bila had toward her sister was a delay Fiory would not tolerate. Drappa or not. "Bila...It is deathly cold outside, and snow has begun to fall again. Now, Drappa or not, you are an aunt to my cubs and I wish you to help me move them as you see fit. Me giving an order to you should not matter. And perhaps one day if it is seen in the stars as you obviously see it, I shall challenge you. But not today. Not right now. Not even tomarrow I suppose. Right now, you can either help, or hinder me. If you choose to hinder me, then I warn you of my patience, for it is running short in this cold time. When my patience is gone, my anger will come out, and you yourself have seen my anger at full strength." Fiory's voice was not groveling, nor was it sympathetic. At the moment it wasn't even her own. It was angry and snappy, still with a mysterious air, but a firey one. "I do not want to fight you, nor do I want your position. Get That Through Your Skull!" She barked loudly, a snap echoing from her maw as her lips curled and a snarl etched upon her face for only a breif moment. Her ears stayed flat against her head as she turned to Gryffin, her seriousness fading and a smile coming to her maw. "Thank you, dear Gryffin, for seeing the urgency in moving such young offspring in this bitter cold. I thank you greatly." Her voice was calming and her hackles were lowerd. Her snarl was no more and yet, her ears stayed flat, her tail stayed erect, and she kept herself held high. Agile fluffy neck swung around, gold peircing the one lonesome eye of her Drappa with daggers at their wake. Not today, not right now, she would not fight her sister. For the moment, she was angry with Bila, for they had been through so much together, and now, when Fiory needed her most, Bila was pointing paws in the wrong direction. Bila was overreacting about a simple suggestion, and it angered the normally gentle and tranquil stargazer. Without a second glance, her maw reached down and grabbed her shivering son again into her warm jowls. Through his puppy fur, his teeth slightly chattering with the cold and his tiny paws shivering slightly, Fiory spoke one last time. "Bila...Please..." She strained, her patience a thin line. "Take your neice, and help me bring my cubs back to the dens." The stressed and hunger filled stargazer, would not ask again. ((Thank you btw Bila, for your edit comment earlier. I Forgot to say thank you, that was very kind of you. ))[/glow]

Sudak watched on as the event between Bila and Fiory unfolded before his eyes. He could see the fire in Fiory's eyes getting stronger as Bila whispered something to her. As Fiory set down her son for the second time Sudak heard a whimper from inside the makeshift den. He stalked down into the den and found the last of the cubs curled up in the corner. He made his way to the back and nuzzled it with his snout to calm her down. He leaned down and grabbed Denisha by the scruff of her neck and began to crawl out of the low lying entrance to the Den. Fiory had just picked up Orion once again as Sudak made his way out of the entrance. He was a little confused on what was happening between the two but he was sure it would be fine. Sudak padded up next to Gryffin and gave her a nuzzle as well. Thanks he whispered through all the puppy fur in his jaws. He then turned his attention back to Fiory and Bila awaiting their next orders, hopefully to move out and get the cubs to a safe place.

[glow=purple,9,000]A chill breeze blew more snow flakes into the young mother's face, and her cold stare upon her sister was broken with a few hurried blinks. Her ears flew foreward once again, and Fiory smiled through Orion's fur at seeing Denisha and Shatila hanging gently in their older sibling's maws. Her tail gave a soft wag, it's featherings whisping around like a lowered flag.
"Come, we should leave this place immediately" Fiory whispered the snow continueing to fall silently from above and softly too. The raven black she wolf turned on her heels, her head slightly lowered as she made her way past the other side of Gryffin, unoccupied by Sudak, to lead the way to the larger, and safer pack dens. The forest's edge was closing in around her ebony coat, when she turned round and looked at Bila with soft gentle hues. They sparkled like the stars again, quiet, mysterious and gentle like always, and at the moment, even seemed to be asking.
"Are you coming, my sister?"

Sudak stared up at Bila and was looking for a sign of approval but nothing came, no sign at all. He thought she must be in a state of disbelief or somethign, He wasn't sure. He turned on his back legs and motioned for Gryff to follow as he made his way up to Fiory with Denisha hanging from his maw, with a slight bounce as he made his way through the now packed snow. His stomach grumbled and he remembered. May we should go hunting for some food for the young ones when we get back to the old den. He stopped and stared back at Bila as Fiory waited for a response.

Bila glared back at Fiory, a low growl beginning to rise from her throat. Her fur bristled, and the only thing that stopped her from attacking was the cub in Fiory’s mouth. But the eye’s that stared back at her were soft and urgent once again, and her ears were pricked forward. Fiory gave a small wag of her tail, but Bila continued to growl, her one eye full of distrust and anger. Her first shock had worn away, and she now felt nothing for the black femora but detest. All of former childhood memories seemed swamped by her sister’s actions, and only a small bond remained, buried deep down through the tumult of her life.
The light snow fell onto her proud back as she continued to stare coldly at Fiory. She now seemed ready to be a Delta again, and Bila waited for her to bow, or apologize. But Fiory turned, leaving Bila speechless with rage. Her life inside the pack was turned upside down, her anger exploding worse than the heat of mans fire, and her grudge began to weave into her heart, forming a web of distraught. She watched the slim faemme move onward, turning back as if asking for Bila to come. The bond buried below everything else, snapped, and with an angry roar she jumped forward, her ears pinioned to her scalp, her fur bristling and her teeth showing. She skidded in front of Fiory, rising her body past Fiory’s own.
“If you ever, ever, decide not to act like a Delta again,” she snarled, her voice low and throaty, filled with menace and anger. “You shall challenge your betters. And if I find you lay in the shadows like a coward and wait for me to die, I will flay you, and then send you out into the world. You’re nothing without List in the winter, so make a wise choice.” She stared at Fiory silently, her breath rising unsteadily into smoke, disappearing once it topped their heads. A voice beside her made her turn in a furious growl. She glared at Sudak with intense anger. “Hunt,” she snarled loudly. “Hunt?! Oh yes, you can go hunt in a storm, find nothing, and come back cold! Don’t be a fool! If we could hunt I would make each and every one of you hunt. Now quiet!”
Her anger still filled her blood, but she loved her family, even if now she could throw them to Wolfbane with out uttering a cry. Most had been through much with her, and she with them. She wouldn’t abandon them, but she would make sure that Fiory would be crushed, hopefully stopping her from challenging Bila, or maybe bringing her out from the den to challenge her. She licked her lips and turned halfway around, to behold the pack. “By Tor I swear,” she growled loudly, staring cruelly at Fiory. “By Tor I swear that when your cubs are grown, they will never enter List again. Never. Not under my command or any others.” She walked forward.
