Gryffin’s words hurt her, and she stared after the faemme with anger. She was only a Sikla, and she had stepped out of place. But she could not snarl, all she could do was stare at Fiory’s pain. She had caused it, but what else could she do? She did not know what to do when she felt challenged but challenge a Varg back, and if Fiory wouldn’t fight, all she could do was threaten her. She didn’t want to hurt her sister physically, and her stomach twisted as her brain whirred. She loved the raven black femora and her dark children; she loved the Vargs of List and the Land of List so much that her heart ached. But she couldn’t put the trust in them that they deserved. She was trying, but she couldn’t. They would all die, just like Tsuki and Syra. Bila wasn’t afraid of the death to come, and sometimes she would long to see how she would go, but she didn’t want to put all the love she once carried into someone who would rip out her heart and bite into it with sharper teeth than the Balkar’s. She wanted to, but she couldn’t let herself get close, and she found herself some sun’s trying to draw away from Fiory. She had learned that watching death was much worse than experiencing it.
Fiory’s eyes were filled with tears as Bila stared down at her, her body stiff and aching, cold and tired. A prickle of anger bit at her again when Fiory refused to leave, but only a prickle. She didn’t like it when the femora disobeyed her betters, but Fiory wasn’t done, and she was just too tired to snarl with meaning. Her very soul felt wasted, her head ached, and she wanted to lie down and sleep, to not dream, to let tranquility and peace wash over her. Her head throbbed as she pictured the spring, its soft green blanket spread over the world and under the Lera’s feet. If only she could fall into that bliss. Her form began to weaken so that she was in a relaxed position, and her wary eye showed the physical and mental pain she felt. The soft words of Fiory’s voice weakened her mind, and she began to slip off into a state where she just wanted to give in. She could not stir up her courage and anger, they had been lost, blown away in the cold, cold wind. “Hateful, sorry,” she thought in her head disbelieving. Her sister had covered her emotions well, and Bila would never have guessed. “I know I will always be your sister,” she growled softly, wearily. “And you will be mine.” She didn’t know what else to stay, and her auds, attentive even if she wasn’t, listened closely.
Her next words kindled scorn in Bila, and she looked at the crying Fiory, thinking she looked silly. But she might have done the same thing, although her claws would come before her tears. She had to pity Fiory, she had to be kind and settle this matter, even when she wanted to curl up, forever alone. “Don’t be silly,” she growled, her voice gaining some of her spit fire. “You can’t be sorry for things that you can’t control. If you were, you might as well be sorry that the grass isn’t growing.” That sounded like the non angry Bila. She even mustered a smile. She wouldn’t kick Fiory out, but she would make them understand her own pain, and she would make the pack realize why there were ranks.
She was still in her relaxed, tired position, and she did not look about to speak when Lyft jumped forward in between the two. Bila gave a surprised growl and stepped backwards, her ears close to her scalp. “Lyft,” she growled angrily, but her voice was steady. “I won’t throw her out, but I won’t tolerate disobedience either. She shook her ruff and called to Gryffin and Sudak, telling them to halt. When she was sure she had the worlds attention, she began, making herself sound as strong as she could. “Fiory will not leave,” she growled, repulsing her very words. She did not like to go back on what she said, and she did not like to be over thrown. “But I want you to know that I love you all.” Her words were hesitant, but true. A ripple of fear had spread across her spine, and she quickly went through the rest of what she was going to say. “I miss Shato, but we have to go on without her and Leohlic, just as we must go on when the Herla leave. I love this land, and I’d never let it or any of you go to waste. I’m trying to do well, and I just want you to know I’m doing everything I can to help you be happy.” She did not say that she was their slave, but instead gulped. “Trust me, please. I won’t let you down.”<br>

((Yay you're stayoing! *dances* ;D))
*Lyft watched as Bila spoke calmer words, yet they were still etched with that same hesitation and frustration a Drappa would often find ehrself in, yet Lyft ignored it and continued to wait. As Bila spoke back at Lyft, the silvery white faemme tinged with blue was surprised to be let off without a beating or at least some more angrier words and she growled with relief, her tail lowering as she turned back to Fiory who was behind her, the tears streaking from ehr gold hues down her raven muzzle. Lyft smiled softly and turned round, bending her cranium down to nuzzle the mother lovingly. Yet Lyft was maybe not liked by many, at least she had learnt to love Fiory - not as a sister, but as a good friend. However she still felt quite nervous around the faemme for she felt nervous around most...and that was when most found her attitude to have been bad - but it really wasn't. Lifting her head back up Lyft padded past Bila, lowering her head in respect to the loving faemme and passed her a small smile before heading off towards Gryffin and Sudak, nuzzling the youngsters before looking around for another cub - yet all had carrier to take them back to the main den...so instead she stood and waited, swaying her tail with the thought of a smiling Shato in her mind's eye..*

[glow=purple,9,000]The agile storyteller hardly heard Bila's words. Her fur ruffled with the touch of Lyft, but no action was made to it. For the first time in her life, the stargazing ebony femme, wanted to curl up and away from everyone, just to mourn for the loss in her heart. Her legs felt to weak to stand anylonger, and her head to heavy to lift to meet Bila's eyes again. She wanted to lie there, never get up, and just give in. No one knew that each time she saw her little male Orion, it pained her. Each time she saw her daughters, Shatila and Denisha, it pained her. For in their spirits of hope and love were peices of Bristol etched in. Yes she loved her cubs, with all of her heart, but at the same time, she could see Bristol's once clear shadow upon them. "Bila...I thank you...You are to kind to me...You are forgiving, and gracious, two things a Drappa must be....Shatocwnn was right in selecting you to be her successor." She whispered, the chill winds blowing over her back and neck easily, her body shivering slightly with it's touch. Her tail moved, to wrap around her legs in the snow, but it looked like it was heavy to move.
"Bila...I am sorry for my outburst....I..I..I just miss him...I miss him so much, and my anger got the better of me my sister. But now I can truly feel the pain that you have, when Tsuki passed away, and Syra too. This pain, this agony, it is almost to hard to bare. I feel like my heart has been ripped from my chest and slowly burned on man's fire, whilst I am forced to witness it...." her words were soft, they were their mysterious air again like they had always been. A sniffle came from her nose, as it still stayed pointed toward the ground, as if unable to look up at Bila properly. Another shudder ran down her spine at the very mention of Bristol, and another sniff came from her maw. At least she was trying to control her tears now....[/glow]

Sudak's muscles tightened as Bila began her speech. His ears became low to his head and he felt himself squeeze a little more than he wanted to, on the fragile, limp cub in his mouth. He thought how great Bila has changed. She has finally accepted him into the pack and he has become family to her and everybody else. This pleased Sudak and he smiled for the first time in a while. His tassle wagging behind him as he stood listening to Bila's sincere confession. He release his grip on the cub so that it was relaxing and he felt the cub let out a sigh of relief. He giggled and began, speaking to everyone within earshot.
"Shouldn't we be going, I'm not sure how much more of this cold weather the cubs can handle."
Sudak stood tall and proud, and most of all happy next to Gryffin as Lyft pawed up and nuzzled first Gryffin then himself. He glanced to Lyft and smiled through the fuzzy fur of the cub to let her know she was appreciated and to show his thanks to her. He then took his stare back to Bila looking for the next orders from his leader, HIS DRAPPA.

Gryffin hung her head low, but not too low that Shatila was touching the snow. She sighed as she began to pad towards the newdens. The tri colouredwolf had thought over what she had said and had regreted most of it. She loved her aunt very much and would not know what to do if she lost Bila aswell. If I could have taken those words back I would have, but they have already been said Gryffin thought though she was jusr waiting for Bila to repremand her, but it never came. Instead there was an awkward silence. Gryffin stopped and looked back just in time ti see Lyft trotting her way. Gryffin smiled wearily her brown tassel swishing as the silver-b;lue she varg greeted her and Sudak.
Gryffi nthen brought her gaze towards Fiory and Bila. But turned and began walking when a voice interupted her. It was Bila. Gryffin turned at the sound of her own name being spoken. The tri hued sikla fixated her gaze upon Bila as she began to speak, her words both heartful and true and Gryffin could not help but smile warmly and her emerald orbs glazing over with a thin layer of water. Gryffin padded towards Bila. her emerald orbs looking into her aunts own eyes, but not with challenge but with guilt of her words and an undying love. Gryffin adjusted the placement of Shatila still hanging so Gryffin could speak properly. "I'm sorry Auntie, I never eant to say those words, its just." Gryffin said then looking to the skies. "I miss her. I really miss her and I hate it when everything changes, and I was afraid, that everything will change. I was afraid that if Fiory left, everything will fall apart. Our family will fall apart. I hope you know what I mean auntie." Gryffin spoke softly.
She then turned to Sudak and nodded turning to Bila, "Maybe we should bring these cubs to their den, and then we will talk more later..." Gryffin took in a deep breath and found her tassel swishing lightly as she spoke, 'So what do you think we should do now? My Drappa"

[glow=blue,9,000]The small young male watched as his much older adopted sister Gryffin knelt down for him to climb upon her back. But he was strong, like his father. He could tough out the cold like his father was now. For at this point in time when many around him told of his sire's death, he believed Bristol was alive and well, raging through the storm like a triumphant hero.
"I'm ok Gryffn', I'll walk..." He mumbled quietly, standing upon his frozen limbs and meandering to his crouched and downtrodden mother. Never had he seen her so sad. Whenever she had looked upon her children, there had been stars in her eyes, but now only water droplets hung from their lashes, and this confused the young pup.
"Mother...why is it you cry? Did I do something bad?" Orion asked, his black coat meshing with hers as he forced his way beneath his mother's chin, licking her cheek down near the warmth of her chest. His eyes stared up at his mother in bewilderment, wondering, and hoping she would be alright. He had no comprehension of the fight that had just happened, nor that his father was actually deceased. Those thoughts never entered his small naive mind...Not at all...
"Aunty Bila...Why's Mother crying? Did I do something bad?" He asked, his face moving away from his mother's gaze, and up at the drappa that stood before her, kindness restored to her face. Orion's head would tilt slightly in his own curiousity, and what would be seen, would be an old reflection of the looks a younger mother once gave to many cubs in earlier years...Orion, was definatly his mother's son, with his father's strength and determination.[/glow]

[glow=Blue,2,300][*Jaw drops open* I can't believe I missed all of that... But now Ixy's back for good ;D ] I Walk A Lonely Road The Only One That I Have Ever Known Don't Know Where It Goes But It's Home To Me And I Walk AlonePherhaps it is better to return...If I don't where will I go? Am I to spend the rest of my life alone? Am I to die alone? Without friends and those who love me?These were just a few of the thoughts that wandered Ixy's mind. After the death of her only sister, Shato, she had felt quite alone and decided she should spend some time outside of List. Bila was the drappa now and Ixy needed time to get used to that. For the past few days she had made her home in a small alclove at the foot of the mountains. Most of this time was spent thinking. The femora had thought of many things, the past, the presesnt, but most importantly the future. Do I even have a future? she pondered, casting a dim gaze into the fading sunset. The winter skies were lovely about this time of year and she longed for someone to share the beauty with. Someone she could watch endless sunsets with... Stretching her weary limbs, Ixy stood set her eyes out into the freshly fallen snow. I will return, List is my home she thought after her much needed deliberation. Trotting out into the cold air, a slight breeze ruffled her rusty fur. She had not seen any of the others in quite a while and wondered if she would even be welcomed back. These were her friends, her family, surely they would let her come home, wouldn't they? The more time that passed, the more confident Ixy felt. She came upon the dens in a days trip and smiled with relief. Poking her head in, she looked around, smile fading. Where is everyone? she wondered, looking around. Turning, she lowered her nose to the ground, the scent of any remaining member was faint. Surely they have not all left... she thought securely. With a sudden urge to howl, Ixy was forced to restrain herself. Leoh had warned her about calling out when the pack was so close to a human village. Instead she whimpered and moved on, following their trail. Though it was fading, the large fae forced herself to keep going. As the day wore on, more snow fell from the darkening skies and Ixy grew steadily tired. The scent was becoming stronger and she knew she had to be close. Then she heard growls and wondered what was going on. Peering over some bushes, she found Bila, Fiory,Griffin, and Sudak. They all seemed distraught and unhappy, though Ixy could only wonder why. Slowly she crept out form behind the bushes and padded up by Griffin. "My you've grown big..." she said with a smile. [/glow]

[glow=black,9,000]Bila watched sadly as Lyft nuzzled Fiory and then turn to her. Bila tensed, waiting to be glared at, but she only smiled and nodded her head. The femora let herself relax again, but she watched as the tall fae joined Sudak and Gryffin. She marveled at how they had grown. Gryffin had once been a small little cub who tagged after Fern. She remembered how much Gryffin had bit his ears, and he almost always gave into his sister. They had been the best of friends, and Bila missed the two being together, they had made her laugh quite a lot. But Fern was gone and hopefully still alive, and Gryffin had matured into a fine faemme, maybe even a Drappa someday. She had such a proud being, and she was so good at heart. Sudak had joined as scrawny cub, but now he was masculine, just like Bristol had been. Her eye saddened and she looked back at the weeping Fiory. Each tear made her head hurt.
Bila let out a short, unhappy laugh at Fiory’s words, and stared at her weak movements sadly. She had never seen her sister like this except when she was to give cubs. Love always seemed to bring sorrow. “Fiory,” she growled, searching hopelessly for comforting words. “I’m not that good of a Varg, you know that. And don’t be so formal, I-I don’t like.” She was longing for the sister that confided in her all the time and she longed for the stares to stop. She wished to be alone with her sister, but she couldn’t. Her own heart began to tear, but not for Bristol. It was for Fiory, Tsuki, and Syra. It didn’t seem fair that Fiory had to lose her mate when they had just had three healthy cubs. Why did her sister have to suffer something Bila could have done for her? The raven femora had been so kind, why would Fenris and Tor do such a thing as create a blizzard when the cubs were so young? But it couldn’t be changed, and he was gone, just like Tsuki. But Tsuki had been a coward, she had to admit it. He didn’t think family was enough, and he had died. Syra had been so young, her death so untimely.
Life was like a rain drop. It was so small, but together it filled the world with chirps and buzzes, growls and neighs, barks and hisses. Every Lera fell through life, not knowing where the wind would turn them or where they would land. And some landed faster than others, and some wasted away before they even hit the ground. Always the rain kept coming, for there was always life. But it seemed hard to let go to the rain that fell, the rain that was swallowed up before it hit the ground. Each life would stream away into a watery memory, and then it would be gone.
“Tsuki died because he went to join a rebel pack,” she growled stonily, uttering the truth for the first time. “He didn’t tell me, but another did. I don’t believe it, but it must be true.” Her eye hardened, and her body was erect. The scar had been scratched, and blood dripped out slowly. Her words ere filled with no hope, and they spread a veil. It all seemed to dreary, and she wanted to give some cheer to the atmosphere. “But we all lose someone,” she growled. “We have to. What would life be like if everyone was alive for forever? Could we really know what happiness was like if we didn’t know sorrow?” To her, her words sounded big headed, and she stopped abruptly, staring at them all.
Sudak spoke, and she nodded but didn’t move. She didn’t want to leave this place with her sick stomach, but she didn’t want to stay in the wet clearing. Gryffin came forward, her warm emerald occules smiling. Bila gave a small smile back, but it had no emotion or happiness. She shrank at the Gryffin’s words, and she didn’t understand what she meant. “I know you miss her,” she growled awkwardly. “We all do I think. But we can’t just rest on our grief.” She didn’t know what to say to Gryffin’s last sentence, so she just licked her nose softly. Orion’s little voice filled the air, and she looked at the brave boy with a heartbreaking love. “No,” she growled, her voice suddenly stern and angry. “Nothing is your fault. Never think that.” She nudged him roughly with her nose. A stirring in the bushes made her turn with a growl, a Varg was standing there. She jumped in front of everybody, not recognizing the faemme. “Who are you,” she growled terribly.[/glow]

[glow=purple,9,000]The agile femme heard another in the area, but more importantly, she heard her son and her sister's words.
"My dear Orion, you are an angel to your mother. Nothing you do has ever been wrong, and I am full to the brim with pride for you." The agile mother said softly to her son, nuzzling him gently in the snow. His warm puppy pelt heated her frozen cheeks and wamth of love spread throughout her body. She needed to be strong now, if not for herself, but for her son. Her son did not know of his father's death and he would not be able to comprehend it yet, so slowly, the mother of three stood up. Snow flaked off of her ebony pelt like an avalange upon a black mountain. Her golden orbs looked down lovingly upon her son, knowing his sisters were taken care of by their older siblings. A smile spread across her maw and she wiped the last of her tears from her raven muzzle, pride streaking her face. Her young son, only a small pup, was beginning to have his mother's eyes. A soft golden glimmer had appeared in the soft light blue of his hues, but as soon as it had come, it had left once more. Slowly her agile crania left her son's gaze and moved to her sisters. In one swift movement, her tail raking the top of Orion's fluffly head gently, Fiory leapt to Bila's side, nuzzling her neck fur in what was only a sisterly hug.
"Bila, you are those things to me..." She whispered, for only her sister's ear. A chuckle was lightened upon her black maw as she withdrew and turned round to pick up her son. Her body felt strong again, and she held her son up to his aunty, golden glistens from Fiory's orbs flashing happily at the amber hue of Bila.
No more then five steps were taken before Bila's voice behind Fiory was heard, and the agile storyteller turned to see a new varg in the small clearing. Something about the female seemed familiar, but she could not pinpoint the familiararity toward her. Tanned gold auditories flicked foreward as her tail swished lightly behind her in thought. [/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]"Bila, I am shocked you are unaware of who I am..." Ixy said in a lowered tone. She dipped her muzzle in respect as she padded forward. "I am Ixy, Shato's sister." The fae was slightly taken aback by the fact that Bila did not recall her presence, for she had been in the List territories for a while. It seemed as though Firoy did not remember her either. Has it been that long? she wondered, stepping back slightly and lookng from Griffin to Fiory, and back to Bila in hopes someone would say they had remembered her.[/glow]

Gryffin smiled trying not to swing Shatila around as the touch of Bila's warm wet tongue scraped her on her nose. Gryffin nodded, "I guess your right Bila." Gryffin said as she began to turn to pad back to Sudak when a femmora padding into the clearing. Gryffin stopped her head cocked slightly as her gaze fell upon Ixy's frame. Gryffin side glanced at her members, they didn't seem to remember whom it was either. But at the mention of her name Gryffin perked up as an eluded memory cast over her mind's eye.
"Fern stop it! stop biting me that hurts!" A puppy Gryffin had barked. Sticking her tongue out at another pup named Fern she padded away her head held high and eyes closed as she stalked forwards not knowing where she was goign until she slammed herself into the leg of another varg. She looked up and there was a she wolf. The same expression, the same smile on her farcade.
Gryffin shook her muzzle and emerald eyes opened wider as she felt her jaw drop but she had to tighten it once more when she felt Shatila begin to slip. Gryffin blinked, "Ixy?" Gryffin began to pad slowly towards the she wolf, her familiar perfume wafting into the cavities of her nares. It had been so long....

*The agile and elegant faemme stood by Sudak and Gryffin watching Fiory and Bila, her smile soon fading as the talk of death and the ones they had loved dearly were brought onto topic. Her icy blue hues began to melt, their shards of splitnered ice leaking like the melting snows of winter to spring and the tears rimmed her lids, a glassy gaze now appearing thinnly over each orb. The dearest memory she could hold to heart...the memory of her sister Arnia...came to mind and her emotions were uncontrolable. Often Lyft would think of the sister, the one who would have been said to look nothing like her yet the consideration that they were perhaps twins echoed in her mind. Why was it Arnia who had been taken into Tor and Fenris' clutches? Why was she sent to be free and live in eternal bliss within Fenris' forest and not that pathetic wolf who was dubbed her sister, Luna or her mangey brother Dynt? On lonely nights or scouts where Lyft would seek soltitude and wander alone to think and breathe she would think of the copper pelted fea, of how smart she would have been, how bold and fearless...forever by her side and forever her sister. It always brought tears to her eyes, but never were they shed - for how could a wolf cry? Even witnessing the trauma of family and pack issues delt between Fiory and Bila Lyft could not understand their pain..only the deep agony that tore at her heart. No one knew what lay beneath Lyft's thick surface...the main reason was no one cared, no one bothered to find out. And no one bar Luna knew what had happened...in fact, no one at all knew of Lyft's past till a certain point where she was alone - left all alone to fend for herself within the thick forests of Transylvania.
Suddenly her thoughts were broken by voices. The voices of her pack members and a lot, forgotten tone that Lyft had never truly gotten to know before. Blinking and suddenly shaking her maw to get rid of the emotions that were brimming at the surface she turned to see a grey varg enter the scene, her head held low in fear and hesitation as the other deltas and Drappa became deffensive against the not quite so foreign wolf. Ixy her named was...and Ixy Lyft knew her as. Neither wolf had really spoken or gotten to know one another, but if she had been the sister of her dearly loved...dearly missed...former Drappa Shato then this wolf would be accepted by the silvery white faemme tinged by blue.
Nodding a greeting to Ixy, Lyft stepped forward and lowered her own cranium to the same level as Ixy's she tenderly licked her maw and flattened her auds against her head, smiling sweetly, yet almost blankly, at the newcomer.
Welcome back... *

[glow=black,9,000]Her black tipped tassel began to drop slowly to the Earth as she stared hard at the pretty femora. Her auds were pricked forward, listening intently, and her nose sniffed the air with all her might. Lightly she stepped forward, a confused look on her face. Who was this Varg that she had once known? The words flowed through her ear, but as soon as her mind reached out for them it froze, and the tall fae just stared, shocked. Slowly her tassel began to wag, and her maw open in delight. She let out a disbelieving yip as Gryffin and Lyft stepped towards her curiously and welcoming.
“Ixy,” she growled loudly, and as she said it all of her memories of the wolf came back to her in a flow of water. She reared onto her hind legs and pushed forward so that she bawled through Gryffin and Lyft, and hit Ixy forcefully. To be sure of who it was, she began to sniff her over, surprised and happy.
