Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't predatory hunting where you hunt predatory creatures like bears and cougers opposed things like deer and ducks?

Oh, well I meant predators lke cougars, bears etc hunting deer and moose etc. I guess I didn't phrase it right. But that brings up another question.
Is hunting cougars, bears and predators better than hunting deer, moose etc?

I don't think so. Most carnivores are not eaten; just hunted for sport. And, once they're gone, the prey of the animals begins to climb. Once they reach a certain point, however, the once-prey of the now dead animal become so numerous that most eventually die from starvation, disease, parasites, lack of water...etc. If a predator goes, that means that about 20 other animals will die, and not because of being food for another. Because of the causes explained above. About the whole Native American hunting thing...I believe that the South Americans did it really well when it came to hunting...the Mayan's especially. You see, instead of just a plain old bow-and-arrow set up where the animal would still die painfully, the Mayan's used blow-shafts. These were long hollowed out sticks or reeds where they would shoot darts through. The darts would have an immediate effect painkiller in them. The animal would eventually fall asleep or go limp. Once it could feel no pain, then they killed it...plus they replaced every tree they cut down with seeds and fed animals on a special day every year. They would bake cakes and all sorts of cool stuff so they could honor the animals for letting them take their lives year after year. I thinks it's cool that they did that and like their method of killing without pain and doing some work too. This is the best method I've seen so far. However, if you have one that doesn't cause pain and where people still had to do work to get the food, please tell me! I like history (just not evil Government *grrr*) and would love to learn. About the whole religion thing, Uskiya, have you tried Hinduism? I think it's very much like Christianity. It's strange, though...not that it's bad, but I've never fully understood the whole reincarnation deal. Oh well...just wondering. ((I hate to beg, but would someone please give me some karma? I need some to give away to those varg who have written good things...for instance, Kahuri, Uskiya, Lydair, Ingo...etc. I'd love to have some to give 'cause I like to reward those who do well.))
