{She looked into Your eyes And saw what lay beneath} It was almost haunting, this quiet, echoing every little sound and amplifying it into such large proportions it would startle even a full grown wolf into jumping just a little. Orange trimmed ears flickered back to press against a ruddy brown skull while the footfalls of paws thumped off the trees and moved the grass which sighed softly from being disturbed.
"Where am I?..." the question fell slowly from black lips, lighter brown fur shifting upon his muzzle from the movement while a jay squawked from the disturbance in the air and took off, blue feathers plucking from the wings and falling like rain "Ah... another Jay.... evil things." the pup muttered quietly to himself. Silently he continued to tread deeper among the trees, ruddy reddish brown tail flicking slowly back and forth as he moved. He didn't know why he was here but then again he never knew why he was anywhere nor did he know where he was... unaware of the impending disaster he would be putting himself in by coming into pack territory... but then again he was naive still and was terrible with scenting to boot.
Head jerking up his ears flicked forward again as the sound of something moving in the distance graced his auditories. Orange lanterns widened a little as nightmarish images flashed before his eyes at what the possible being could be but soon he snapped his skull from side to side; No no he mustn't over react now... it would only make the situation worse. Shifting on his paws, three burning red to the ankle while the right front leg shot up to his knee with the same scaling pumpkin as his eyes and ears.
Muzzle tilting and drifting in the air he sniffed before calling softly, almost squeamishly "Hello?.... Is... Is someone there?" he should pay more attention to his surroundings... but then again he never got anything right like this... only rarely was that possible for him, he could only stand his ground now and hope that whatever was there wouldn't kill him.{Don't try to save yourself The Circle is complete}

The black-pelted fae padded the territory of Deor her new home. Chalos had recently accepted her into the pack so she thought it was time to pad the pack lands. The golden on her right front ankle and back left ankle shimmered in Fenris’ light and jingled as her trot became as fast as a jog. Her limbs carried her over the land swiftly as her pink tongue lolled out of her maw. Her amber hues searched the area of other varg hoping to run into another Deor member she had not yet meant. The ebon pelt clashed with the green of spring around the lands. The she-varg slowed down as sounds of rustling came from the east of Deor.
The fae padded in its direction thinking it was a member. Maybe Mist! She hadn’t seen Mist in a very long time. It felt like there was a disturbance in the air that lingered about. It made the ebony femme uncomfortable and sent her into a bolt. Her onyx fur rippled along her body and her muscles tensed up as she swerved around the labyrinth of forest in front of the varg. The femme had no idea why the sudden panic sent her into a bolt though she was almost scared of what lay ahead of her in the brush. What if it wasn’t a pack member but an intruder? What if it was a pack member? Questions like those filled the fae’s mind as she practically ran into a tree.
A sly cunning smile spread widely upon the femme when she thought of what Dax had said to her if she had ever needed any help. Just the thought of the mann made Ryku feel all tingling everywhere which changed her mood. Her ebon ears twitched as she forced her limbs to a halt at a 5 foot ledge. Another Varg was standing there. Though it seemed to be a cub it wouldn’t be able to see her for tree protected her. The cub seemed to be male and if her scented her it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Would it?
Without a second though the fae jumped from the ledge landing gracefully in front of the cub. Careful not to scare him away she looked at his strange markings and pinned her ears back on her head. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she took in heaves of breath from the run. A smiled was spread along her maw as her golden orbs watched him. “Hello there. I’m Ryku and you are…?” she asked in a soft gentle tone. Ryku didn’t want to scare him away him seemed so… lost.

{Hold your colors against the wall When they take everything away}
If this had been even a month sooner the cub would have jumped in startled surprise by the sudden apperance of the fae. Instead the one year old stumbled back in surprise and ended up landing on his rump, staring with wide pumkin eyes as the new wolf on the scene. For a moment he was silent, too flabbergasted to properly respond with anything remotely coherent.
"Wh-How-uh....oh." startled and a little stunned he shook his head rapidly and coughed a little in slight embaressment for actually being knocked off guard. Some Mann he wass, he couldn't even keep a fae from knocking him down on his rump by just showing up.... but then again ever since Hyde did that he wasn't very used to others popping up in front of him just yet.
"Um... I'm Homicide.... If... if I may ask... where am I" he asked shakily, giving a sheepish smile to Ryku as he pushed off the dirt ground and shook out his fur, bright lanterns going back to the femme who had shown up and startled him. Silently he studied her a little, eyes going to the trinkets on her leg but he did not question them "I'm afraid I'm lost again...." indeed he was lost again, he was not even aware of the fact that he had crossed a boarder and was currently in pack territory.
This wouldn't be the first time something like this happened to him. He had also wandered into Ge-rad once but promptly left after Firefly found him. For a moment his ear flicked and he looked around, wondering if he had heard something else move in the distance... maybe it was just him hearing things... being only a year old he still had a vivid imagination that still sometimes kept him up at night with the twisting horror that most pups had in their nightmares... never was anything he experianced so far all that pleasant... but he would have to pick himself up, dust himself off, and move on.
{Ahh, She looked into your eyes And saw what lay beneath}

Ryku smiled at the cub and sat on her haunches. She didn’t mean to make him fall on his rump but she did just come out of nowhere. She smiled apologetic and pricked her ears back up again. Her amber eyes stared at him dancing with happiness. Dakota had told her to scout the boarder so she had been when she ran into the cub. She quite adored cubs.
As he stuttered he reminded her of Dax the blue eyed Mann that she had a growing affection for. She smiled wider at him and lay herself down on the cold ground. Her tail brushed against the earth as one of her ears sided down on her head and the other stayed high up on her head. The black-pelted she-wolf smiled wryly as he stared back at her with his strange colored eyes.
“Why you are in the pack lands of Deor.” She answered. He must be unaware that he is trespassing into pack lands and that could lead to punishment by the drappa or dragga. She smiled happily at him. “You do seem lost so tell me, don’t you have a pack to care for you and are concerned for your well-being?” the amber eyed femme asked him questioning him with concerned golden orbs that watched him. They were not going to leave his face. She then again wondered about how he came to be the colors his pelt was. It was a very strange pattern.
Her mind was wondering again to Dax. He had an interesting personality and made the ebony femme at ease. She remembered the playful pick-up line that he had given her. She snickered at the thought. Golden orbs watched the outline of the boarder her keen amber eyes dilated to catch every speck of light. Being a scout she was more aware of her surroundings. A sly cunning smile spread widely upon the femme when she thought of what Dax had said to her about meeting him in Deor. She was going to meet him here once he gave the howl that signal that he was here and ready for her to come.

For a moment he could only gape slightly upon the she wolf, her carefree attitude had caught him by surprise, normally he didn't run into generally kind wolves so she surprised and confused him. Orange ears flicking back against a rusty red brown skull he contemplated the moment and her actions toward him, still curious. But this all ended when she spoke of him being on pack lands "P-Pack lands? .... Oh geeze.... I'm terrible with tracking..." he muttered quietly, his single fiery pumpkin paw swirling in the dirt and dead leaves making a noise similar to a rattlesnake.
But his head shot up, pupils narrowing and iris' flaring at the mention of him being here instead of with a pack that could take care of him and be teaching him the ways of the wolf. Shivering he turned his gaze away from the femme who no longer seemed to be paying attention to him, her mind lost to another Mann she had met earlier and would meet again. For a moment he choked as though he had something in his throat, neck flexing a little as he swallowed thickly and let out a tired sigh
"I was driven out of my pack at seven months of age.... I have no home... and no one to be concerned for me."
This was said bitterly, the words rolling off his tongue with obvious distaste dripping off each and every letter of his words. But he honestly did not expect the one in front of him to rightfully care about his situation all that much... what would she care? She had a home... she had a family to wonder where she was at night, to think upon her wellbeing, to hope she was safe.... she had all that... and he could not help himself from envying her.

Ryku looked at him and gave him a smile. As he stared back at her amber eyes wondered about his small body. Why a cub would be wondering around alone. Homicide reminded her dearly of one of her favorite cubs that she meant on her ways. The golden orbed femme sat on her haunches and listened to his voice. He seemed so lonely. Ryku hated it when pups were left alone by themselves. It pulled on chord inside her body. For some reason she felt a strange attraction to the cub. More of a mothering connection. She didn’t want him to be alone and he wandering about worried her. Her amber gaze watched him as he told himself he wasn’t good at tracking. “Homicide how did you come to be here?” she asked concerned for him her gaze not leaving his.
He suddenly seemed unsettled by her mention of a pack. The black-pelted femme’s brow furrowed and she felt a twig of pain in her heart. She loved pups and couldn’t stand to see one in a situation such as this. It broke her heart. Again there was a cretin connection that she felt that brought her to him. It drew her to keep asking questions about him and his past. “Why would they chase you out? That’s not a very good family or pack.” She answered the words coming out in a worried tone her amber orbs filled with concern. Her pelt rippled as a strong gust of wind past by them.
Ryku was careful not to disturb the pup but slide a little closer and whimpered for him in sympathy. Her golden hues flashed back to his face and the features that built it. The fae wondered what had seemed to upset the Mann so much. “If you would like I’m sure the drappa and dragga would not mind letting you seek refuge here even if only for a little while.” He voice was gentle and soft. She was determined to make it so he was watched over even if she had to do it herself.

"How did I...?" he paused after saying this, contemplating her question a moment or two before he spoke again though more quietly then before "The way I always end up somewhere.... looking for food..." he smiled sadly at this, sad pumpkin eyes gracing to the ground as he thought about it. Given his size he could only catch small prey if he was lucky, squirrels and rabbits were the staple of his diet and if he was lucky he could get a fish or two.
But he jerked again at her question of his pack and why they chased him out "I.... didn't meet my parents expectations... so they chased me away." he replied quietly, noticing the femme moving a little closer to him and, feeling the need for some kind of comfort even if just for a while, he moved closer to the larger she wolf as well. Rusty red brown tail flicking a little bit as he looked to the sky and then to Ryku.
When she spoke again his ears perked and he smiled a little at the idea of having a place of refuge, almost delighted by the idea though he was secretly saddened that it could more then likely be only temporary... but still... he could hope "R-Really?" he asked softly... not really daring to put much hope into the idea.

As he answered her question she could only imagine how hard it was. Though she left her pack at a young age she always had help hunting from older kerls she meant. They were always so nice to her but why was the world so cruel to Homicide. He must only manage to catch small prey not Herla or anything. The black-pelted fae’s eyes widened slightly and her ears pinned to her head. Her tail slightly brushed the ground as her onyx ears picked up the sound of the wind howling through the trees.
Ryku was shocked as her eyes widened. All because he didn’t meet his parents expectations of him? Sounds a lot like what had happened to the ebony femme though she left on her own accord. “That… That happened to me when I was a cub as young as you though I left on my own thought.” Her voice was soft as a slight grin crept onto her maw then faded. Her amber eyes stared at him and watched him get closer to her body. She whimpered again and gently brushed against his ears for a moment and smiled.
The ebony-coated she-wolf was sure that Mist and Chalos wouldn’t mind or so she hoped. If Homicide was with her he would have more of a chance to get into the pack. “Yes really, and if you would like,” she began. “I can speak to Mist and Chalos for you.” began softly. She smiled at him her golden orbs sparkling. Her amber hues flashed from him up to the sky back to him to the ground then back to him.

{We're reaching out and to tell you}
The young wolf paused silently, contemplating his possible chance of actually being accepted despite his faults and having a normal family... one that did not have the mad desire to train him in the art of killing and spilling blood. Shuddering a little he slowly got onto his four, tired pumpkin eyes looking to the she wolf near him... so far the kindest adult wolf he had met so far. Hyde he had met before... but he had been rather distasteful at first but then rapidly changed in an instant... a confusing wolf indeed.
Slowly he moved forward and stood before the larger Ryku, his ears flicking back a little bit, still timid about things bigger then him even though she meant him no harm he was still rather wary of this world and the things in it; a cautious pup he was. But as his dark pumpkin eyes stared into Ryku's golden amber one's he couldn't help the small smile that curved his black lips nor could he stop the slight shake of his yellow tipped tail
"That.... would be nice...." he murmured gently, seeming almost nostalgic... the only calm moment he had ever had was when he was still suckling at his mother's belly... though he could not remember the moment well enough to relish it. So he slowly brought his head forward and lightly nuzzled Ryku's leg in a slow curious manner before asking "So... I can have a home.. perhaps?"

Ryku smiled at the pumpkin eyed cub waiting for him to answer her question. For the few moments they had spent together the ebony fae had come quite found of the Mann and hoped Mist and Chalos would accept him into their loving pack. Even with a pack that treated him like that he would be welcomed if he passed Mist and Chalos’s approval. Her amber eyes danced with pleasure. This was the strangest, shyest, cub she had ever meant in her life. Even the cubs in her pack had been better at taking risks. Though she didn’t judge him on that.
As he moved closer to the onyx femme she smiled and her right ears sat on the side of her head while the other sat on her head. It was a comical sight and others had told her this is how she looked when she was intrigued. Her heart was soaring right now being in Deor, and helping a cub that was lost find a new home. Her golden hues sparkled as she watched the cub as he stood in front of her larger more built body.
As he started to talk again her smiled widen. She was so pleased that Homicide was going to be here with her where she can watch over him better. He suddenly nuzzled her legs as her smiled faded then came back though… It seemed warmer and softer. At his question she nodded happily and spoke as gently and softly as the wind on a calm day. “Yes Homicide, if you wish it may be permanent also.” She said and gently licked the tips of his small ears.

A long, relaxed sigh made its way slowly from the Dragga's lungs as he made his way along Deor's border. The beta male, Dakota, had been home for a good while now, yet still the alpha felt urges to patrol his territory for any who may have made the journey to follow his obsidian friend. On this day, however, his worries finally began to subside; no Kerl had been found other than a small handful who sought to join their ranks - perhaps things were finally returning to Deor's excuse of normal.
Footfalls followed by the scents of two hit him like a brick wall and Chalos's lips pulled into a slight snarl. However, when one was decided to be one of their own, his guard was lowered to a small extent. Making his way through the Transylvanian forest, the sizeable Varg shoved between thorn and brush until the duo entered his sights. Seeing the weirdly-marked little wolf intensified his curiosity, for no existing Deorian he knew of appeared so. He emerged immediately, staring Homicide down like a hawk to a rabbit, studying, analyzing. And suddenly, memory of a recent happening flashed to him and his mind clicked, hackles raising and giving the appearance of increasing size threefold. Genocide. But he was calm, collected, and smooth when he spoke, those sharp, emerald sights remaining locked on the oddly-coloured Kerl whilst his lengthy tail raised high. "Scout," To Ryku, of course; he couldn't trifle with remembering names at the moment, "Cease your friendliness at once. Step away and settle yourself behind me - that's an order."
The wary gargantuan turned his voice to Homicide shortly afterwards, standing tall and easily dwarfing the strangely-coloured little male. "Do not think I am fooled, beast," He growled slowly, "I know your motives and I know your tricks. Just as your friend was not welcome here, nor shall you be. Your strange pelts and even your very scents are similar and I will not allow Deorian blood to be shed by lunatics this day." Chalos began to stalk closer, muscles rippling beneath his own strange pelt. He stopped when he was just inches from the stranger's face, black lips raising once more to reveal ever-impressive teeth. "You've a short moment to either explain yourself, leave my lands, or face the consequences of doing neither, little demon."

Upon hearing the thundering paws and then spying to rather large dragga the little yearling shivered a bit in on obvious tinge of fear. But this was increased three fold when Ryku was ordered to move away from him and upon having the large lumbering mann approach him he promptly started to scoot back until he tripped and fell on his rump.
Orange ears tucked back against a rusty brown skull as dark pupils narrowed from fear in the pumpkin lanterns. He had no clue what was going on and was obviously extremely afraid and intimidated by the large dragga in front of him. Throat closing from fear he struggled to talk, maw opening and shutting like a fish gasping for air but no sound escaped.
Suddenly instinct in his head finally decided to kick in and without really thinking about it the small pup had rolled onto his back with his tail tucked between his legs, exposing the vulnerable throat and underside. Shivering he finally managed to gain the ability to speak and spoke with a tone dipped in nothing but fear "I-I'm not sure what your talking a-about.... I... wandered here by accident..." he whimpered softly, closing his eyes tightly when Chalos drew closer to him, no less intimidating then he had been before

A scent trailed into Ryku’s nostrils as it came closer. Her onyx ears pricked up highly as she turned her head toward the brush. Something was emerging from brush. When it came out it was her Dragga Chalos. Her ebon tail stopped wagging when a snarl flooded inside her ears and thoughts raced through her mind. What is he going to do to Homicide?! Her thoughts rang like a bell inside her head. She began to breathe franticly but kept her composer and obeyed his orders. Ryku padded behind the Deor Dragga keeping low showing her lower ranking to him. Though the ebony femme did not settle herself. Her amber orbs watched franticly hoping Homicide would not be hurt.
As Chalos spoke her expression changed to a slightly angered face. Beast? She thought. Yes he is the dragga but what was it his right to judge him on his family and origin? From what the onyx drappa knew he was shy, timid, and overall kind. He did nothing to reflect his family or blood brother. Ryku stared at the pumpkin eyed cub holding back her snarls and growls keeping her composer perfectly. Her golden hues flickered back to Chalos who was advancing on Homicide. Her heart skipped a beat as he was only inches away from his muzzle. Another word rang throughout her head. Demon.
Ryku’s family was almost like Homicide’s though she was still welcomed in Deor with open hearts and yet the cub was not getting a chance to clear himself of what was being accused. Ryku knew she could get punished for speaking out of turn but she had to do something. “My Lord if you please he did wander in here by mistake.” Her voice was soft and gentle not letting it crack once in front of him though she was almost shaking. Her amber hues stared at Homicide as he rolled onto his belly. Ryku moved to the side her ears pricking looking over the dragga’s shoulder to see what was happening to her new friend. She told herself she would look after him and right now she was doing a lousy job. Ryku was shaking slightly fearing for Homicide.

The snow-rumped behemoth felt his urge to attack rising with every shiver that came from the cowering male. A Dragga recently returned from solitude was not a varg to be trifled with and the sides of his maw nearly curled into a grin yet ceased in the midst of doing so. Instead, he lowered his head further, stepping over the belly-up pup and staring down at him. "You play me for a fool, rat." He muttered quietly to Homicide, just loud enough for him to hear, "It would be.. smart for you to run back to your little friend Genocide and tell him that Deor is not his murderground. We are large in numbers and will not tolerate such trouble. Mark my words, pup," Chalos's lips pulled into a tighter snarl as he leaned in, touching noses with Homicide. "You may be young, but I will not hesitate to send you back to that silly-minded bastard with a broken leg and teethmarks."
None had ever known the Dragga to be so wicked, but he was a wolf protecting his pack, thus was not subject to holding back. But when Ryku spoke, he raised his head, ears swiveling to take in her voice though his eyes refused to leave the freakish little Kerl. "His coming here was no mistake, Scout. He holds the very scent of the same sorry excuse for a Putnar who sought to terrorize Deor just a couple months ago. Believe nothing he says to you. Wolves can be sly, they can be stupid, and they can be just plain.." His ears pulled back momentarily as he spoke the final word of his sentence, "Misunderstood." What have I done?
Seeming a tad humbled, Chalos backed until he was no longer standing over the submitting youth. But he continued to stare down at him as he thought on the situation. The Dragga's own brother was an awful creature who seemed to have been sculpted by Wolfbane himself, a beast of blood and malice, maddened by jealousy and powerlust. Yet he had never openly told any of his relations with the infamous obsidian bastard; he knew what an awful hit it would be to his reputation whether he was his brother's complete opposite or not. At last, the Deorian spoke again, voice directed to Homicide, "I know your relation is among the ranks of the Balkar, yet you smell not of the rotten intention scent that is so telltale in Balkar. Come, stand before me. I will give you your chance to explain yourself - if your mind is pure as you say it is, you've no reason to fear me so." He would not reveal his name yet, though it was obvious enough by the way Ryku had previously addressed him that he was, indeed, the leader here.

'No reason to fear- No reason?!' Homicide thought with slight anger but he dare not let the emotion show 'You're three times my size, can kill me in a second and apparently just plain don't like me and you say I should have no reason to fear you!? In a sikla's EYE I have no reason to fear you ' but this was his only hope now, if he so much as showed one ounce of fear or hesitation to this dragga he knew it would be the ending to him. Silently he cursed his brother in his head, it was all his fault he was in this situation in the first place! Slowly he rolled onto his belly then pushed onto his four. Turning pumpkin lanterns to the giant mann he approached and soon stood before him, his tail sliding out from between his legs but remained dangling in a submissive position.
Gaining control of his voice was easier said then done but soon he found the drive he needed and slowly looked Chalos in the eye, his ears flicking forward as he began to speak directly to the dragga but kept mind to keep his tone respectful, lest he get the tar beaten out of him "You would be right sir....Genocide is my brother..." he murmured softly but clearly "But I haven't seen him since he left the pack many months ago....Nor have I made any contact with him since..."
Honestly he didn't know where he was getting the nerve to speak so clearly but for once he was glad his cowardice had not come back just yet, so he took advantage of his sudden courage and continued to speak to Chalos directly, keeping calm and reminding himself that panicing would not help the situation "Truely I wandered here by mistake.... I'm not good with scenting as of now and didn't notice the border" he was hoping that this would be taken seriously... he didn't want to die just yet "I soon got lost and wandered around until Ryku found me.... thats all of the story I have...." he swallowed a little, still worried about the snowy reared mann not believing him and tearing into his hide.. but he could always hope... hope that he wasn't talking to someone who would kill him eventually.
