The amber orbed she-wolf listened as her dragga spoke to her. Ryku’s ears pinned to her head as he spoke word after word then suddenly his own ears pulled back. As her dragga pulled back off of Homicide Ryku let a small sigh escape her black lips. The tension in the air seemed to disappear. The femme was now able to relax herself as she settled on her haunches amber orbs watching the two dragga. Her ears were pricked listening to the words of Chalos and yes it was true what he said. What should he have to fear for? Her thoughts rang though she knew poor Hom was probable panicking inside right now. The ebon fae listened as the pumpkin eyed cub began to speak.
By now Ryku had stopped her shaking and a small smile creased her maw. The onyx femme had no idea where he was first getting to with this but he kept speaking which was good. A breeze blew past and sound of a small creek nearby trickled throughout her ears. It was calm and soft nothing she could have ever heard or focused on when there was so much tension in the air. It was small and calm not too many rocks or twigs in it. She could almost guess that there were flowers starting to bloom next to it.
Breaking from her thoughts she again returned her attention to Homicide and Chalos. Looking at the two Chalos clearly towered over Hom and he was more built then the pup (obviously) but the cub was trying his best to convince her dragga that he was no threat. Ryku believed he was different then Genocide. He was shyer, more submissive, and kinder. The ebony femme knew he wouldn’t hurt any of the Deorians. The amber hued she-varg listened as Hom spoke softly. Ryku was smiling as her eyes danced. She stood up again and her golden bangles clanked together. She moved where she could see them both and settled on her haunches once again.

The massive Deorian Dragga watched as the pup forced himself to stand, body language still showing ultimate submission - a pose which gave the alpha a slight satisfaction despite the situation. Ears focussed on Homicide's voice, an expression of obvious doubt spreading across his face But Chalos allowed the youth to speak and gave him the benefit of the doubt by actually listening to his words rather than rolling his eyes as, perhaps, he normally would have.
When the small stranger had finished his cowering explanation, the well-muscled Deorian rolled his shoulders and curled his spine, vertebrae popping loudly along his back as he considered the story. Then, immediately after Homicide had finished, it seemed, Ryku was up and worrying over her newest friend as if a mother scared for the safety of her son. He could smell the she-wolf's stress and it nearly made him sick - the air was thick with Homicide's fear and the scout's dread, such an intense essence that he was not used to sensing within his borders.
At last, he decided to be relatively - thought hesitantly - convinced and allowed his hackles to fall slightly, lips relaxing their intimidating snarl. "Your response to threat is very much natural and obviously not practiced. However, I am not yet thoroughly persuaded on where your alliance lies, so I will propose a solution." Chalos glanced to Ryku before continuing, "For now, you may reside in Deor. As I suspected, you are that fool's brother and I know for a fact that he is Balkar. Therefore, I shall make a personal visit to said pack and request that they keep that damnable varg under control and away from Deor. Without his contact, we will see whether your words are truth or lie." It was a good plan - Chalos's sheer size alone would assure that he was not attacked on the spot when he entered the Balkar's territory. "Scout, I will put you in charge of him while I am gone. Keep a very close eye on him and I mean it when I say don't let him out of your sight. I will leave in a week or two; for now, young Kerl, I very cautiously welcome you to Deor."

Orange ears flicked a little as they listened to the dragga's words, a shiver rolling down his spine from relief at the lack of anger from Chalos. Slowly he nodded his head to show he understood and he couldn't help but smile a little when he told Ryku she would be in charge of him. He was a little annoyed about the 'Never let him out of your sight' thing but considering what COULD have happened he wasn't going to complain all that much.
Slowly he began to move around Chalos, mostly watching him to make sure the dragga didn't make a sudden move toward him. Of course he only moved after the dragga was finished talking; to do so before more then likely was a bad idea. Once in the clear and seeing that Chalos was not moving or even paying attention to him he immediatly bounded over to Ryku, scrambling between her forelegs and hiding under her.
He couldn't help it; Chalos was a big male after all. Shivering a little he watched the Dragga from his place under Ryku and, perhaps to reassure himself, slowly lifted his head and nuzzled the she wolf's belly a little while his tail began to wag just a little bit. He felt much safer here then he had in front of Chalos. Much safer indeed.

The ebon-pelted fae settled on her haunches sensing the discomfort of her dragga. Ryku could hear Chalos loudly crack his back, the onyx femme listened closely as the built Mann began to speak offering a proposal. Before he went on Chalos glanced at Ryku. She seemed to nod without knowing it. Her amber hues were calm and relaxed. As he began talking again her ears twitched and her tail flickered against the ground. There was still stress and fear in the air, more than the she-wolf was used to, though her stress released and she relaxed. Her golden orbs caught Homicide’s gaze saying it would be ok and not to fear anymore.
A warm smile creased her black lips though her ears pinned slightly against her onyx head. The drappa’s ears suddenly pricked at the sound of ‘scout’ though she knew it wasn’t her name it was what he had been calling her. “Yes sir, I won’t let him out of my sight.” Her voice was soft and gentle but clear and sturdy at the same time. Her ebon tail slightly brushed against the earth and Ryku was happy to take his orders. She would gladly watch over the pumpkin eyed cub. Homicide then began to move his way over to Ryku.
As he settled himself under her she gave a warm smile. The ebony femme felt something nuzzling her belly. Her smiled widen for she had never felt so protective over a cub for she had never had a litter of her own though she wished one day she might. Her amber hues looked back down to him and smiled sweetly at him. Her pelt rippled along her spine as she nuzzled his ears gently and looked back up at her dragga. Ryku smiled happily at him as in thanking him without really saying anything. She felt better that Homicide was now in a pack, in her pack, where she could watch over him.

[Just an exit post, sorry - it's rather awful but it'll do.]
The pup ran from him and for once, Chalos didn't much care. If Homicide had nothing to worry about, then he would retry their relationship later - after all, a packmember can't avoid his Dragga for very long before he's forced to face said alpha and speak. For now, he shrugged the youth's fear off, suddenly shaking his pelt heavily as if ridding himself of the issue for now. A nod was sent towards the she-wolf, "See that you don't, the last thing Deor needs is rats."
Looking down at the hiding little male, his gaze was ever-suspicious, but Chalos had already made his deal - there was no turning back now. Large paws maneuvered the giant closer to Ryku and the still-scared youngster, head lowering to allow handsome, emerald eyes to watch Homicide. This time around, his sights seemed much gentler, perhaps friendly, if not just a bit careful. "See that you behave yourself, wolf-child. I don't want to have to throw my teeth around again. Show me that you are innocent and all blame will be uplifted. If you hunger, ask your Scout friend to take you to the den and you may feed on what scraps have been left for pups. As much as I'd love to sit and chat after frightening the daylights out of you, I must, unfortunately, prepare for my trek to the Balkar. Good day to the both of you."
A small dip of his head was given before he turned away, walking casually off into the brush as if the recent happening was all in a day's work.

(See ya Chalos, thanks for joining.)
Warm pumkin eyes flickered when the Dragga's face came into his view again; he would have trembled had he not noticed the softer look in Chalos' eyes. Though he honestly did not like the rat comment he would live with it for now. Instead he just listened to the behemoth's words and then watched him go without a peep fleeing his maw. When the dragga had dissapeared in the trees he slowly squirmed his way out from under Ryku and stared in the direction Chalos had gone "....He's intimidating.... but means well..." he murmured quietly.
Then his orange ears flicked back and he turned and trotted back up to Ryku again, slowly he settled on his haunches and stared up at the she-wolf. For a moment he said nothing to her but soon he couldn't help but offer a tiny smile on his black lips before speaking "It appears.... that your stuck with me..." he murmured sheepishly but he sounded happy about the outcome none the less.
He then began to wonder excitedly what wolves he would meet within the realm of Deor, tail wagging quickly at the thought. If Chalos was anything to go on then more then likely they would be intimidating too but he would hope for the best right now and keep good thoughts in mind instead... not all the wolves would be suspicious of him instantly would they? Or would they treat him like a normal wolf pup... part of him wanted to know and yet part of him did not. Despite how he felt... he would find out sooner or later.

OOC: bye Chalos it was great Rping with you!
As Chalos left the black femme sigh happily her tail wagging now. Her dragga was now out of sight as she watched Homicide walk after him for a little bit. Her grin spread wider as she whined excitedly. “Well Homicide I guess you’re in my paws now. Do you want to go explore or what?” she asked him gently licking the tips of his small ears. Her fur rippled as she sat on her haunches. Ryku was thankful that he was entrusted to her and not the nurses of the pack though she trusted Dax and Capella she felt more drawn and connected to the pumpkin eyed cub. Her amber hues stared at the pup and she lowered herself to the ground.
She would gladly watch over the pumpkin eyed cub. Homicide then began to move his way over to Ryku. “Oh but I’m not. And besides I like spending time with you.” Her voice was soft and gentle soothing him. All tension disappeared from the air as she lied by Homicide. Her black ears flickered as her smiled widened even more. She felt better that Homicide was now in a pack, in her pack, where she could watch over him. Her golden orbs caught Homicide’s gaze saying it would be ok and not to fear anymore.
She was confident he would fit in with Deor though slightly worried that some might not accept him considering his older brother was from the Balkar. The golden orbed fae gently nuzzled the cub on his flank. Her golden bangles were sparkling from the light that was reflecting off of them from Fenris. They jingled slightly as she helped herself up off the ground. Ryku was gazing at the pup’s expression trying to see what he was feeling. “Homicide what are you feeling right now?” she asked looking up at the clear blue sky. Though she usually didn’t ask questions like this she was still curios about it.

Though comforted by the femme's apparent delight at having him with her now the small cub still felt a bit like he was intruding. But for now he would push the attitude aside and instead focus on other things he could do. Turning pumpkin eyes to the sky he began to think to himself for a moment as he listen to Ryku's words.
Upon her question of his feeling he paused then offered a sheepish little smile, silently swirling his orange paw in the dirt and leaves below before he spoke again "Well.... I am kinda hungry..." that was the understatement of the year, the last meal he had had been exactly three days ago and his stomach was just about ready to eat itself at this point, growling loudly and angrily a second later as though to remind both him and everyone around himself of this critical situation, the sound only making the pup smile even more sheepishly.

Ryku smiled down at Homicide as her expression change into a loving caring look. Her amber hues danced with pleasure as she lifted her body off the ground with her onyx paws. Her maw opened a gap as she let out a yawn whining slightly. Her huge white canines gleamed in the light of Fenris. Her golden bangles chimed as she stretched her body out then straighter up her posture. Her golden orbs trailed over to the cub after looking at the sky for some time.
When he spoke it was almost like it was on cue as his stomach growled. She smiled warmly at the cub. “Well why don’t I take you to go get something to eat at the dens?” she asked him chuckling a little. The ebon-pelted drappa was more than happy to take him to get food to eat. In fact she was pretty sure it was just from today that they left the meat from. Her bigger paws started to move forward toward the pack’s den. The ember hued femme stopped a little bit up the trail and looked back at the pup. Her ears flickered and her tail flicked the ground softly. “Come on Homicide I won’t let anything hurt you.” She spoke gently as she waited in her tracks for the young Mann to catch up to her.

Pumpkin eyes blinked for a moment as he watched the she wolf stand and then speak, his ears flicking to catch her words about getting him some food. Silently he stood there, unmoving, as he watched Ryku begin to walk away from him. But apparently she had noticed his absence and soon looked back and called for him to come along. For the first time.... he didn't feel so alone anymore, he felt cared for and it made him... happy.
Smiling in almost bursting delight he bounded after Ryku, almost tripping over himself from not watching what he was doing but luckily he caught himself. Quickly he followed beside her, having to pick up his pace to remain at her side. But he again began to think and after a while he turned shy eyes to the elder wolf "Ryku?" he waited for her to acknowladge him and when she did he could only smile in a hopeful manner, tail wagging a little bit as he asked what he wanted to for a while now.
"Can I call you.... Mom?"

As Homicide bounded after her she smiled warmly at the cub. Her amber hues watched him carefully then slowed her pace seeing he was using too much energy to keep up with her. Ryku’s ebon pelt rippled along her skin as her muscles gracefully across the Deor land. It was silent for sometime as they headed toward the den area. Her maw was creased with a sweet smile. She let thoughts of having her own family sliced throughout her head making images of pups bounding through the meadow grasses. Ryku’s ears pricked up when Homicide stated her name. She was quite but looked down at him and whined in a way asking him what’s wrong. Her golden orbs watched him as he walked side by side with her.
‘Can I call you… Mom?’ his voice rang aloud.
Her face was stricken with shock at this question though it was happy shock. Thinking once again of her own family and how it was seeming to fit together she would be happy to agree though the one thing that drew her to him was the connection they had with each other. Her smile grew bigger her white fangs sparkling in Fenris’ light of the mid-day. It seemed like she had just meant the pumpkin eyed cub but she felt a strange protection over him. He was like one of her own though he was whelped from another mother. She didn’t want to miss the chance to be an adopted mother. She would love to. “Homicide…” she stopped mid sentence thinking of how she should reply to this. “I would be happy if you called me mom.” She said gently licking his muzzle in a motherly way. Her steps grew shorter slowing even more for in though she wanted to take in the surroundings. Her golden bangles clacked together as they dangled from her ankles. They shinned in the light of the sun and the heat was warming her fur comfortable.

The joy, the delight and the laughter immediatly bubbled into his chest so quickly he could no longer contain it and let out a delighted yip followed by happily ringing laughter. Tail wagging he darted after his new mother, smiling happily and tilting his head to lick her muzzle back in response to her. Pumpkin eyes were glittering much brighter much better then they had in months now, a new light glowing and making them warm.
He could smell the rustic warm scent of the dens as they neared, but he no longer felt any fear of what he could meet there or who he would run into. Instead the idea of others delighted him further, making him laugh again in a richer voice, full of joy and life now. But it was no wonder he was like this now, he now had a home.. a mother who loved him for what he was and not what he could become. The smell of slightly old meat brushed against his grey nose and he turned his eyes to Ryku, making sure to stay by her side now.
Now he was home.

The black pelted she-wolf heard him yip and whimpered happily in response. Golden orbs watch him as he grew happier, his eyes lighting up making her even happier to see his happy side. Her smile grew from ear to ear as the dens came into sight. The scents of Capella and Dax still lingered here from when she brought them here. The hollowed out holes were complemented by wild flowers blooming around them creating a beautiful nature scene. This was so pretty that it made Ryku’s tail wag faster than ever. She smiled at Homicide and led him to the cub’s den. The smell of old meat from this morning filled her nostrils as she padded down to the hole. Scenting around it and then poking her head in it to make sure no one was in here she lifted her head up once again.
“Come along Homicide, the foods in here.” She said warmly. She now had a son, whom she loved, a pack who loved her and something else no one knew. She knew now that she was falling head over heels for Dax Ehzno though he seemed to like Capella more than the younger fae. She broke from her thoughts and focused then on the orange marked cub again. She knew he was not yet part of the pack for Chalos or Mist had not accepted him just yet. Her yellow gems glowed in the light and glimmered brightly. The Light of Fenris could just barely get into the den as she slide in the rest of the way and settled on her haunches in the dirt. A small puff of dirt smoke rose up from where she sat and made her vision blurry. It was annoying but it soon disappeared from her face as she stopped moving. Ryku was going to let the small wolf-child to his food as she sat and watched him. The coal colored femme let out a small sneeze for she had sucked some dirt in with her oxygen. It was a short squeak sort of sound. Her muzzle scrunched up into a tense position her fangs glowing in the small space. This den was only made for pups or one adult in the den.
OOC: My last post for this thread! I'm gonna start another when my muse builds up again so hang on tight!
