Awesome Krystal...if it ends up in Florida I'll probably need your help, being as you'd know the place better than me. I'm looking forward to meeting the other TS'ers as well.
I started on a website design but it doesn't look great right now or have much content. ;P I'll post it as soon as it's done. Della if you have any css you wanna lay on me feel free! Otherwise I'll come up with some kind of boring design most likely, haha.
@ Sorel...I'm fairly certain that's inaccurate. Paypal makes a "donate" button specifically for the purpose of accepting money online without an exchange of service. Being the reputable organization they are, I don't believe they could offer this if it wasn't legal.

You have to be 18 or older to donate though. A lot of the people here are younger than that... and it's illegal to solicit their money my dear Silvanus. Besides, offering something begets more than donations. I'd be happy to make my TS Vargs for anyone that would pay me. I'd make them for as little as a quarter.

Sorel/Linnea: no, it's not illegal, Paypal can do it. You just need a "permit" to do so. click her for details True you have to be 18 yrs or older to donate, but even if you're not-there's an easy solution. Parents. Older siblings. It's as easy as that, m'dear.

There's not really any way to post a paypal donate button such that minors won't see it, they simply aren't able to use it unless they're 18 or have the permission of their parents, as per paypal rules. Problem solved. We won't be hassling anyone for money, especially not minors; there will just be a button on the site, as there is on countless other legitimate sites that host to a wide age range of viewers. Besides, as Della said, there are many things we would plan on doing to raise money for the meet, of which donation is only one possibility. Commissions, adoptables, and any other ides will be offered as well in the event of a fundraiser. Any help with the fundraiser, including your TS Vargs, Linnaea, would be a welcome addition...and that goes for anyone else who wants to make a contribution. This is, of course, when we get a system set up.

Meh... I still think we'd get more donations if we offered something in return for the support. I mean, asking for donations is sort of like being a hobo on the street with a sign that says "anything helps" and generally they don't get much of anything.
Also just a throw in: Della's adoptable idea was wicked awesome. >w< and I have an AIM now: LucidiaJumi

I know he did Hyde. I was reiterating my point one last time even though you're probably sick of hearing - reading it and I'm just being redundant at this point... anyway.... >3> lets think of more ideas...
We could have a bunch of little contests at the gathering. I bet we'd get more votes at a live Member of the Month XD

Hey guys, I have you all added to AIM. It might take me awhile to get to MSN.
I'm planning on hosting a group chat soon. Probably sometime next week after 8 Eastern Standard Time. Would it be more appropriate if I hosted it on MSN or AIM? The number of people with AIM seem a bit more than people with MSN, but I haven't really been counting.

Hey guys! This sounds really awesome :) I'm glad I saw it!
I live in the Northwest... WY, actually. But I'd be able to go anywhere in the U.S. this summer so, count me in!
Tron might be able to go too, (maybe) soo =) (I know this post really wasn't informative, but I thought I would jump into this as soon as possible =D) btw, I don't have AIM or MSN yet, but I may if plans start becoming more concrete

I really don't see why you guys don't just, you know. Get together and have a good time rather than trying to throw colourful ideas out there as if there will be tons of people or something. Why can't you all just chill at a park or something and have fun getting to know each other? It doesn't have to be something big and special and it's not like this would be everyone's only chance - there are still many more years left for TS to keep going strong. I still can't go, but I'm just saying. This meeting isn't some huge convention or anything.
I couldn't afford the gas and besides that I'd be tempted to bring a large mean dog with large mean teeth with me for s***s and giggles.

I'm sure that's one of the things that will come up in the chat WB. I like the whole park idea, but I'll put this right out in the open now, in case we do wind up having this meet up in FL. FL doesn't have any good parks, unless of course you're talking about theme parks then that's another story.

Well, if you end up having it in FL, I'm going there for spring break and having it during a school break would be a good time for the school kids who couldn't go otherwise. But nobody would want to see me anyway except maybe Hyde. ;P
