Monster and Krystal - i can't drive yet. not even a permit. -.- not sure if its important or not, but my moms o.k. with it, the trip idea, not sure about anything else for now, even though she probably wont go, she likes the idea of talking to a chaperon. we both know this is like, er, i dunno if it'll happen, might not happen for a while if it does, but y'all were talking carpool, and she said we should put in our two bits. i'm willing to help in anyway i can, even if i end up not going. i don't even think i was invited to the carpool, i just realized Krystal mentioned me. but im babbling now. i took pain medicine cause i sprained my wrist and its purple, so i'm loopy. i'll shut up now

Silvanus: The only wolf park I know about in FL is a wolf reservation located in Naples FL, which is about a two hour drive away from my location. I've been there once, it's a really nice reservation. The people there give you a tour of the place, let you see the wuffies, along with other animals but mostly wuffies. And they even teach you about wolves, not that they taught me anything I all ready didn't know. Oh, and they even let you interact with the more tame ones, which is a lot of fun.
Monster: Keep me posted on what you want to do, you know my AIM.
By the way, for anyone who wants to talk to me. My AIM is Krystal Zanguzen, and my MSN is KrystalZanguzen@hotmail.com

I'd be more than happy to be part of the counsel, Silvanus! However, I'm only 16, and will turn 17 in May. I have a very willing mother and a hard, strong work ethic, though.
My AIM is i steal masks and my MSN is rainerpism@hotmail.com, for anyone who wants to talk to me. I'm going to add all of you to my BL for future references. If age is an issue, I could be a co-councelor or 'staff-in-training' so to say.
I could design help design t-shirts and take commissions for this. I think we should have a TS T-shirt contest and have the winning picture be put on a t-shirt we can sell to everyone.
The artists of the community could also host group commissions, where all the proceeds would go into the giant pot. And of course, we could all beg for donations around the internet. We could have runner-up designs be on things like cheaply printed stickers and magnets, and little donation cards to people who paid.
We could also do something fun with the wolves of TS! For example, we could have people 'adopt' our wolves, like a silly internet virtual pet thing. For example, we could sell Della for 10$, and whoever bought her we send her a little card about her by mail with some art, and as my roleplay with her progresses, we could send them monthly updates. Things like how much she weighs now, the fights she's gotten into, if she's raised any ranks in her pack. Ect. Just a fun little thing that might help us raise money we could host on our site!
Speaking of that, Silvanus, I've dabbled in CSS since I was 9. I'd love to help design the coding and help upkeep the website as part of my duties on council or co-council if you decide to have me.
And visiting a Wolf park sounds like an absolutely wonderful idea!

I'm going to be moving to Vancouver in the late winter which will put me close to the Washington boarder, right now I live close to New Yorks boarder, about half an hour from Niagra Falls. Though I'll need a few weeks/months notice, gotta get a passport in order to travel over the boarder. My aim is AnimeAiden My MSN is neoneptune_angel@hotmail.com My YIM is l.bumblebee@yahoo.com I can be reached anytime :3

This sounds awesome! I love the ideas for the fundraiser, Della. We could also keep a widget on the website keeping track of how much we'd earned and maybe even a button to donate or something. I'm glad there's another fellow coder on the board too to help out And I'm glad you're in too Ayame, it sounds like you've got seniority over us so that should be extra good!
Krystal, the wolf preserve I saw was called Seacrest...here's there website. www.seacrestwolfpreserve.org/ I don't know if they're any good, but it might be something to think about! Florida does sound so nice...
Would everyone want to be staying in the same hotel for ease, fun, and easy chaperoning? If so, what would you consider an acceptable rate per night?
Everyone that's posted their AIM so far, thank you...I haven't added you all yet but I'll go through and do that soon. Perhaps we can organize a group chat this weekend or something.

Since I haven't posted them yet. ^_^ I'm often on. My AIM: AelfwynSangspere MSN: NainSongspear@hotmail.com
I'd most likely be up for a chat this weekend. Since there are people without AIM/MSN, we can email them our thoughts/ideas/decisions after the chat and make sure it looks good to them as well so everyone can have a say. Oh, on that note, it probably would be a good idea to post them in here afterwards too, so late-comers and people we haven't specifically emailed can see and comment, etc as well.

Phantom, we could car pool. NJ isn't too far from NY! My boyfriend really loves to drive, and by then we'll own a car so we could make a trip and pick up anyone on the way willing to give us some gas money.
I think staying in the same would be best, if no one has the room to host us in FL. (Which, I think, is the most ideal situation, unless we're unable to raise a lot of donation money.) And I...really have no idea. I'll get into looking at Hotels around the Seacrest wolf park area and see what's decent.
I don't think I'd be as good as you, Silvanus. As far as I know, you're a mega-techie-coder. I just do some CSS and graphics, ahaha.
I'll be very busy this weekend, so I'd be unable to attend the group chat. I'm mostly on 8-11 EST on weekdays and Sunday. Saturday and Friday I'm busy having a life, ahaha. But who says we can't have a weekly chat session at a specific time? Then whoever's on can be invited to attend, and there will be ample time with no missing out and no requirements to get to know everyone better through these group chats.

*sneaks on computer when should be doing work* Hi everyone! Like Della I'll be doing wedding stuff all weekend, so I'll have to miss this session, but don't let that stop you! Go ahead and get things rolling And excellent idea Mist! We should definitely keep everyting on here so new comers can see what's going on.
It looks like right now FL is a popular place, my only concern is that people from the mid west and west coast wouldn't be albe to make because it being so far away. Is there a location more central that we can have it? Just a thought...
As far as t-shirts/fundraising, I used to work for an embroidery shop that later got into vinyl and screen printing so if we come up with a design and can go to them and see how much it would be. Just keep in mind the more colors, etc the more expensive it will be. Personally, I also like lanyards(sp?) and other neat things on top of t-shirts...
I recently went to a convention, and almost everyone stayed in one or two hotels surrounding the convention center which made it so easy to hang out and have a good time. So I agree maybe once we know how many people are definitely going maybe see if the hotels will give a group rate. Though I'm sure a non-refundable deposit would be due to reserve the room.
Visiting a wolf sanctuary would be amazing. There is the international wolf center, but don't think many people would/could go to Ely, Minnesota.
It has also occured to me that I said I could be reached on AIM and MSN but didn't leave my info, so here it is:

We have plenty of time to sort out all the details so there's no need to rush things at the moment. I suggest that before we decide on an actual location for this meet, we should first have a general idea of who is most likely going to actually attend, so we can get an idea of where everyone is coming from. Then we can consider such things as distance that everyone has to travel, and what certain locations have to offer in terms of cheap entertainment.
But aside from things such as theme parks, wolf reservations and what not, I'd say the thing I would look most forward too in this meet up is the actual meeting of TS'ers. Aside from maybe a few members who actually live near by other members, most of us are isolated, and I for one have always wanted to talk to someone else (in person) about TS, RP'ing in general, character development, plot development, so on and so forth. That and meeting other furries of course ^^
Silvanus: I'm willing to travel outside of FL, I'm not totally sure how far though. I like the idea of everyone staying in the same hotel, but would it be all seperate rooms or the same room? I don't mind any of the two options but others might. Also, I'm willing to help in any way I can. Contact me on AIM or MSN if you wanna talk.
