Uskiya had drifted out of the conversasions, it wasn't until She heard Cal come through did she perk up and smile, her tail thumped against the ground as he greeted her, her orbs dancing as she greeted her mate. She returned his licks and nuzzled him. She looked to the newest pup and smiled as she said Cal's name. Cal was wonderful with pups. Uskiya looked to Kairi and Draeg and then her attention turned back to Lydair. Something was troublng the fae, Uskiya wondered what it could be. Her auds laid back to her head and she whined. Then Draeg suddenly pinned down Kairi and Uskiya jumped slightly, bumping into Cal. Though things settled down and Uskiya relaxed, though she shied when Draeg introduced Cal and mentioned her name. Soon Lydair came over and sat by the gray fae, she looked hurt and when she buried her face in her paws Uskiya nudged Lydair with er muzzle. "Lydair, what's wrong?" Uskiya asked quietly as Lydair leaned against the gray fae. Obviously when the time came Uskiya would find out what was bugging her friend, she didn't want Lydair to be unhappy. Uskiya looked to Cal and leaned her head against his furred neck, happy that he had come back from his journeys. The gray fae wondered if Lydair's unhappiness was caused by a nother varg, though the gray fae did notice that Koan appeared to be glancing at Lydair thoughout the meeting. She wondered what was troubling her friend.

"A Healer?" whispers Yelae in wonder. She was happy that Shako was trying to cheer her up. Her old pack never had a Healer, only an old crone of a storyteller that did nothing but sleep. However, she did not know why this she-wolf was upset, but by the looks of her gazing at Shako, she felt as though it had something to do with her.
Upset, not seeing what she did was wrong, she whines slightly, lowering her tail and ears, the happy feeling diminishing once again. What did I do? she thinks silently to herself, slightly upset with herself. Perhaps she did something wrong, but once again, she did not know what.
She looks at Lydair, but then looks away, finding it rude of her to stare, especially with eyes as strange as her own. Bright green blue, perhaps a little too unnerving. But, it appears as though no Varg had commented her about her eyes.

Lydair forced a smile upon her pearly maw and sighed softly but nodded to Uskiya, and then Cal. "Nothing, really. Just old times repeating themselves." She yearned to leave the subject behind; she knew that she was drawing attention to herself so she sat up, ignoring Shako and Yalae as best she could, but at the same time trying to ignore Koan, and Kairi. It was becoming a very interesting pack meeting; dragga and drappa were threatening other Vargs; new wolves were introduced, feelings formed, and tension was strung between everybody. Her eyes narrowed and glittered dangerously as she slipped a last look at Yalae and Shako; how dare she? Huffing, Lydair mentally told herself to calm down. The healer femme blew through her lips. "I need some lavander." she muttered, tail curling around her and lashing out with silent fury. Rarely did she loose her temper, but it seemed she about ready to do so. Lids slipped down over cyan-azure orbs and she took several deep breaths; she felt her heart beat slower, her breathing even out, and she thanked her mother in her heart for teaching her virtues and morals.
The femme caught Yalae glancing at her and she fought desperatley with her body to keep from curling a lip up in contempt; her packmates would throw her out if she acted as such. Instead she nodded, nearly curtly, and keep her features taunt and unmoving. If Shako chose the white fae over herself, so be it. Cyan orbs darted to Uskiya and Cal; her heart panged yet again..
(((So sorry for the crapiness; if you guys had seen this you wouldn't have voted for me in MotM. lol.)))

A sudden feeling of tension filled the she-wolf's mind and body, causing her to recoil. Someone despised her, but who? She nodded back towards Lydair, and when she left, the tension ceased.
She takes an intake of breath, unaware that she was holding it through that period of time. Though it was merely short, it felt long when one was under tension. It was almost as though her muscles were pulled tautly around her body. She closes her green/blue eyes and her firey-red chest rises as she breathes normally againOpening her eyes, she found herself looking towards Lydair.
Could it be she that I get this feeling from? she wonders, But why does she despise me? What did I do. Maybe it is my eyes...or something else I have yet to grasp?" She looks away again, looking back towards the ground in agony towards the hatred she felt ignighting within this she-wolf, one she had yet to know.

Lydair's eyes flashed an eerie teal and her head snapped back to Yalae; her eyes burned with failed-to-be-hidden anger and she stared at the white femme, refusing to look away until Yalae looked back to the ground. She surprised herself with her outbrust of boldness; Lydair was a usually clam and laidback wolf; rarely did her temper rise and break, to crash about like the waves that rolled throught eh river as it receded about the slippery rocks, or the ripples that wavered across the crystalline surface of the pond when her slender muzzle or dainty paws skimmed its surface.
Lydair turned away from Yalae, the voice int he back of her mind prickling. None knew, even herself doubted it, but there was more to Lydair than what met the eyes of others. An elemental- her mother had spoken of it once, and never again. Of fire; of Zostar. Things that frightened her. The reason why her eyes flashed that blue-green; the reason her temper rarely flared, but when it did few could stop it...

She looks at Shako, a sudden realization forming in her mind.
"Is, is Lydair a friend of yours?" she asked, knowing how some she-Vargs friends with males end up...madly in love. Perhaps she was interferring with Lydair's love life...
Her heart skips a beat. Perhaps this is what was happening with her. She was falling, falling for Shako, and perhaps it was wrong. This she-Varg's jealousy pricked her heart, or did she prick Lydair's heart? As a thorn, she probably would. She looks at her again, only briefly, with those odd eyes of her. A peircing blue-green, a symbol of selling her soul to Wolfbane. But this was not true! They said the orange on her chest was from Hell, where she was spawned and placed in Rose's womb during conception...
However, she knew the vibes that Lydair gave to her very well, quite well actually. Her old packmates looked at her like this all the time, but since it was such a long time ago, she nearly forgotten. Her eyes burn as she recoils from utter confusion. "I guess I will never escape hatred..." she says, not realizing it was outloud and not in her thoughts.

Cal gave a low growl as Uskiya returned her licks and nuzzles. It felt nice to be with her again, and he missed her most when he was travelling. Seeing her happy expression he couldn't help but give a warm and comforting smile. Turning around when Draeg spoke. "Always a pleasure to meet you all, always a pleasure..." growled Cal. "And Yelae, welcome to the pack. A scout eh? Suppose I"ll see you around during our scouting duties." said Cal. Suddenly, his yellow orbs caught something happening between Lydair and Yelae. Watching as the faemme leaned aganist his mate. Slightly curious on his friend's behaviour, he moved closer to Lydair and whispered, "What's wrong?" Indeed he was concerned for her, seeing that Lydair was a dear friend of him and Uskiya. Feeling a bit of exhaustion catching up to him, he suddenly wanted some alone time right now away from the crowd. He wasn't used to being in such a large group. "Well, suppose in the future I hope to know all of you better. Right now I'll head off." moving back to the trees he brushed his sides with Uskiya giving her a small smirk and then moving back to the shadows.
(Well, I have to leave this thread. It's a little too cluttered up. )

Lydair's ears flicked to the side to listen to Shako's answer; she knew what it would be and so she tried to concentrate on the others. She knew every Varg here: Cal, Uskiya, Shako, Cwen, Draeg, Kairi, Yalae, and Koan. She knew them all, by name, by scent; some were her friends, some mere packmates. The femme's jaws opened in a wide yawn and she crouched down again, letting her gaze rest, orbs glinting with wisdom and cunning, but also confusion, on Koan. Her blue-black crown tilted slightly and she nodded a greeting to the male; Draeg's son was quiet but sharp-mouthed and she knew it. A crooked smile formed upon her maw and she turned back to Cal and Uskiya, trying to grin. "How are you two?" she spoke softly, letting the words slide from her dazzling white muzzle.
She felt Yalae galnce at her again, quickly; her eyes seemed well-enough; her own mother had had green-blue eyes and it was nothing new to the fae. Her first brother, murdered by her dragga in the pond- his body had been left to freeze and crack with the very ice itself- had had a pair of golden-red eyes, flicked with black, brown, and a deep shade of ember. Her own exquisite cyan-azure orbs captured many Varg, and she knew it, but didn't mind.
She heard Cal whisper to her and she turned to afce him, smiling wryly. "Nothing, Cal, but thank you for asking." she said quietly.
(((Aye, me too. I suppose its my fault though, lol.)))

((No need. Since Yelae finds it unsettling, she will leave. n.n))
Her heart thumps cruely in her throat, causing a short shudder down her spine. She prays she is not sick, for it would mean dealing with this she-Varg who clearly despised her. She stands, looking at Shako with her eyes, looking more blue than green at this moment. Sometimes, her eyes become one or another, and watching them morph is unsettling, or at least from her Old Pack's point of veiw.
"Sha...Shako," she murmurs, her voice a mere whisper, "I should leave. I'm a bit...bit tired and need my rest..." she shakes her head, and the sun warms her firey chest, helping to revive her unsettled heart, but only a little. She went to lick his maw, but feeling a small gaze on her caused her to stop short, and, silver tip pointed earthward, run to contemplate her thoughts underneath a tree, where maybe she could find some peace.
But it seems as though loathing exists everywhere she is. Perhaps I cause it, the unsettled Yelae thinks as she leaps away, not looking back.

(((I'm going to leave. lol. Maybe it'll stir something up.)))
Lydair watched her friend pad away, into the shadows, and she turned to Uskiya. "I, too, am taking my leave." her voice was soft and gentle, far from her feelings at the current moment. "If you would like to come, than please do.." The hybrid's cyan orbs glittered and she looked around, nodding to each wolf in turn. at last her orbs settled onto Shako, and they widened as mixed feelings clouded her mind. Sighing softly, she turned away and darted through the underbrush, knowing she would be having an unsettling talk with Shako later, and, if her dragga or drappa noticed her actions, one of them, which she dreaded. both of them. She didn't want to hear the Shako was falling in love with Yalae, didn't want to be reprimanded for her attitude toward a new member. She wanted to run.
But something held her back, and so she padded quickly through Ge-Rad, trotting shakily; her normal, graceful gait off balance. Closing her eyes, she continued walking, pausing only when something gentle and warm caressed her face.one she loved? No- just the skimming branches of a willow, dangling before her. Finding solitude and seclusion beneath its branches, she crouched and crawled awkwardly beneath them. The angel tree, her mother had called them, from their branches, woven by Tor and Fenris, came in the shape of Sita's wings- that of an angel, and the billowed and flapped inaudibly, yet the wind whistled through the and lulled the femme into a false sense of comfort and security. Lydair was indescribably worried, and angry, and sorrowful, and she couldn't decide the feelings.

A scarred muzzle tracked her progress. His amber eyes had seen that look before, on his own maw. Pain, so deep it felt like both flesh and mind had been rent by an incredibly sharp knife. He took a tenitive step, and then he went at a brisk trot after her. His mind rang slightly, pondering why he was following her. Wasn't it obvious that she wanted to be alone?
But how many times had Huts done this to him? He had felt like he needed to be alone, but she never let him, never allowed him to berate himself and cause himself so much suffering.
He came upon her, after following her scent, perched under a willow. "Excuse me?" he growled, tenitively. "Milady?"

Lydair had finally found peace, in the deepest abyss of sleep. Woken by a sudden chill in her mind she stirred, ears perked, to see Koan padding through the small clearing. Blushing- she hated feelign sorry for herself; there were so many better things she could do- she nodded to him but averted the steely male's cunning gaze- those amber orbs had gazed into her own cyan ones during her meeting with Cwen, and although she knew what he was doing it frightened her. he was a handsome wolf, she would give him that, but he was Draeg's son.
Her heart panged; Shako was probably with Yalae right now, comforting her. Coward. Lydair thought darkly, hackles bristling at the thought of the odd femme. Lydair herself might have been a hound, a hybrid; males may, in the end, find her heritage repulsive, but she was proud of it and would refuse to let it burden her. As Koan's shy voice broke through her trance, she raised her head and gave hima smile, blushing again through the thick white and blue-black fur on her cheeks. "Koan..." She said softly; her voice broke and pain filled her eyes. every thought shako fileld her with sorrow- yet it was this kind male who had ventured after her, trailed her to talk. "its a pleasure seeing you again, Koan, it really is." she tried to sound chipper, but was unsure if he had heard the sadness in her voice.

Uskiya let out a whine as Cal left, still feeling his fur brush against hers as he left. Things were getting crazy but Uskiya couldn't be sure what was going through Lydair's mind. Though it appeared that she and Yelae weren't enjoying eachother's company. Soon it appeared Lydair wanted to leave, obviously something ached at her and she appeared hurt. As she extended the offer of company to Uskiya the gray fae was about to respond when she saw Koan stir. The fae smiled and stayed put, Koan was going to offer Lydar comfort and perhaps that was the best. Watching as her two friends had left Uskiya turned to the others. She was about to approach Yelae but the n the she ran off, obviously something was upsetting them. She approached Shako and greeted him with a dip of her muzzle. Was he involved in this as well, or perhaps just unknowningly. Whatever it Uskiya found the group to go slightly quiet. She sighed, she would stay for now, or perhaps she should leave as well. She still needed to find a whelping den. But then again, it would be good to stay a little longer. Turning to Shako she smiled and opened her maw to speak to him, but she couldn't think of what to say, she didn't really know him, though she hoped that would change.

Kairi stood her neck hair bristling as her silver blue eyes watched Draeg, he seemed to have calmed but at the moment she saw his eye shimmer with a threatening spark and at once he flared. Kai snapped, her head rushing forward to meet he dragga in the surprise lunge but surprise had given the dragga an advantage and she had fallen onto the ground. On of her back legs were brought up in the whole whirl of the moment. In training she had been taught such defenses and her back leg pushed up and hit the dragga's abdomen but did not create enough momentum nor strength for much of a proper block. Instead her leg gave a mere nudge that bordered the male from crashing down any further onto the crimson femmora.
Kairi's head snapped and her teeth clenched as she tried to reach forward maybe have a snap at the dragga but instead she fell her body fall and hit the ground with a thunderous thump. Her front paws struggled as her lips curled in a defensive snarl as she felt forever helpless in this position. She gave out a deafening snarl that molded int o a sharp whine, her silver blue orbs pinned onto the dragga, and scowled when her optics met his. Kairi struggled a but more before she let herself fall limp to the blind helplessness. She growled her ears pinned flat against her head. And she found that she could no longer hold his gaze and averted it. Her tail prickled as she let the last low growls melt into the chili air.
She heard the warnings and the reprimand by Draeg but Kairi did not reply, she stood silent, hiding her tongue behind her lips that was invitly clapped between her teeth from further speech. She would have replied to the dragga's words with her own smart mouthed reply, and all might say that this femme was cracked in the head for smart mouthing.
But instead she held it for she did not like being in this position, a feeling of helplessness and the lack of motivation cut her short of freedom. She just gave a mere nod, hardly seen as she felt suddenly the dragga's weight lift off of her bodice. She gave a hidden growl and kicked with her back feet up and over as she flipped herself back onto her four paws and shook herself out. Never did she waste one second.
She looked around her and gave the many vargs gathered around, most a bit quiet since Draeg had first lunged though some were conversing in low tones while the grim eyes male koan had scorn and a sneer on his maw. Kairi gave him a grin before walking a few paces from the alphas. She once again shook out her fur and her pink tongue was hanging low from her opened and lightly panting mouth. Her eyes absent mindedly traveled to Shako and Kairi cocked her head, seeing that his brother was trapped in some kind of love triangle. Kairi saw the seething jealousy that burnt in the she vargs. Kairi flickered her tail before leaving the situation for her brother to handle on his own.
Instead she padded a few steps back, the hair on her spine still bristling from the assault made by her dragga. But visually her tail was lower, in the resting position and her head was poised straight but not arched in was her back that her head seemed to be raised in a dominating form. But still she watched fro m the corners of her eye with a scornful look, Kairi lost this time but she would rebound and revive, relive and forget.
