(okay I'll start off then ^^ midn you this post is gonna suck)
Vermin scattered everywhere trying to seek refuge from the oncoming predators. Blinded vy fright and pumped by the adreniline in their little muscles the mice bounded frantically into hiding as the List cubs went after them.
Gryffin howled out, the sight of actually seeing prey enough to bring back excitement in her.
Gryffin pounced and just missed one of the mice by an inch. She growled annoyingly and swerved to the right, her gaze fixated on another. It was unlucky and had ran in the wrogn direction. Gryffin pounced and caught it by the tail. "Gotcha now!" Gryffin barked just as the mouse pulled its tail away from Gryff's grasp. Gryffin stood in shock as it ran away. Letting out a desprete whine she turned and ran after another mouse. maybe Sudak was having better luck then her.

Sudak stood after pouncing after a mouce that had just outrun his grasp. He noticed Gryffin wasn't having much better luck than he was. He sat down own his haunches and began laughing his heart out. The pups were at least 100 times the mice size and they couldn't catch one. The view of Gryffin catching the mouse and then it scurrying away made him loose it all together. He began rolling in the snow, laughing so hard his sides hurt. Sudak sat up recovering still from the sight of Gryff and the mice. He let out a sigh to get rid of the rest of the laughter.
This is just too hilarious, we can't even catch a mouse and we're supposed to be warriors in training. I think we need a little more practice.
Sudak gazed over at Gryff to see if she had managed to hold back the laughter that overtook him.

Gryffin landed on the snow with a soft plump sendign powdery frost everywhere. Gryffin sat there for a few seconds blinking stupidly as she watched the tiny rodent scurry away.
Gryffin turned around and watched as Sudak started laughing. Gryffin pursed her lips and jumped over to Sudak, tryign to hold back her own laughter that was about to explode, yet Gryffin didn't know how she could hold it down. The tri coloured pup poked Sudak in the side with her nose and yipped, "I don't see whats so funy!" Gryffin said watchign the male giggle. Gryffin just couldn't hold it any longer and she too broke up into a fit of laughter. She fell onto the snowy ground and started to roll around her stomach starting to hurt but she just could not stop the giggling.
Gryffin looked to Sudak, "May..be....we....should..get back.......to work!" Gryffin spluttered tryiing to speak clearly between her fits. But Gryffi njust bursted into more laughter even worse then before as she rolled around, the snow beginnign to stick onto her fur.

Sudak was giggling as he saw Gryffin burst out laughing. She couldn't hold it back and he thought it was hilarious. Sudak saw a mouse run right by Gryff as she was rolling in the snow, he lept for it and caught it by the base of its tail, he slid for a few extra feet as snow blew into the air. He had wound up however sliding right up to Gryffin so they were touching nose to nose. Sudak opened his maw embarrased, as the mouse scurried away. He lifted his head back, the shock apparent in his eyes and ears flat against his crania, as he gazed back at Gryff, ear slowly raising back up.

(sorry I havent replied faster... I had exams for the whole week, parents didn't let me on long enough and sadly... i can't go on Ts at my school, for some odd reason.. but good news! Exams are ova!! *ahem yes now back to posting)
Griffyin giggled her stomach hurting as she breathed in short breathes trying to revive herself from her laughter. She lifted herself up when she saw Sudak had caught sight of another mouse.
Gryff watched closely as Sudak dived and Gryffin barked as he caught the mouse but blinked as he slid closer and closer towards her until they touched by their muzzles. Gryffin's emerald orbs looked into Sudaks and she giggled, her brown tassel wagging as a big smile etched upon the young wolfs lips. she saw how embaressed the ivory varg was and this made Gryffin chuckle.
The tri coloured wolf got up onto her paws and faced Sudak, her reddish brown ears bent forwards as she had a lopsided smile on her face. Gryffin brought her muzzle closer and licked Sudak on the nose then pulled herself back and smiled, her tail wagging as she looked back at Sudak. Over the period of time where they just stood and looked at each other Gryffin felt herself redding up and began to feel embarressed over the whole situation, or were they just the butterflies in her stomach?

Sudak sat there on his haunches in a daze, he felt the blood rushing to his face and then as Gryffin gave him a lick on the nose a smile rose across his face. His ears now perked and he sat there smiling back at her tassel wagging. He moved foward and gave her a lick on the nose as well and a quick nuzzle. He then jumped playfully and turned on his hind legs and then lay on the ground ready to go when she ran after him.

[glow=purple,9,000]"Well, seems you two are having quite a bit of fun.." came a soft growling voice. The ebony form of Fiory had entered the area, a smile on her face as she watched the growing cubs she once knew become fine adults in the making. Her sparkling golden hues glittered kindly at them, watching them play and watching them in their attempts to hunt.....a mouse? A chuckle escaped her maw, as a few little field mice scampered at her feet, but she made no attempts to try and catch them. What was the hurry anyhow? And besides, perhaps these two would like a lesson in mouse hunting. Her tail swished quietly as she watched Gryffin and Sudak laughing and having a grand old time in the snow, her tanned gold ears flicked foreward in her gazing. "You two caught anything yet?" She asked kindly, lifting her foot gently up and swiftly bringing it down again. There was a light squeek beneath her paw, for her digits had landed upon a little field mouse's tail. For the moment the little rodent struggled and squeeled in Fiory's grasp, but she made no attempts to catch it in her maw, or kill it at all.......she was just...holding it there... ((blah, sorry guys. but I wanted to come and join in on your fun...hope that's alright. If not, then I'll delete this post, and take off. )[/glow]

Gryffin giggled her tassel wagging back and forth as Sudak licked her back and gave her a nuzzle. At once Gryffin could feel herself reddening up as she smiled warmly. Gryffin let out a bark and then she began to chase Sudak her back paws kicking up bundes of snow as she wheeled around giggling. She then pounced onto Sudak and brought him down to the ground. Gryffin burst out lauhging again as snow covered the both of them. Gryffin giggled, "Sorry, I hope that didn't hurt," Gryffin barked then finally getting off Sudak when she realized she was still on him. Gryffin growled and took hold of his left ear, nibblign on it playfully when the sound of crunching snow under paws caught the tri hued pup's attention. There stood a ebony varg, her auds painted gold. Gryffin recognized her immediatly. "Fiory!" The young sikla howled. She licked Sudak on the cheek and gave him a nuzzle before jumping over to Fiory, her tail wagging furiously. "Wow your here!" she barked happily, cause Fiory often spent most of her time in the den tending to the young cubs. Gryffin gave a lopsided smile, "Noo, we haven't caught anything yet... But Sudak was so close!" Gryffin admitted though the disapointment of missing a catch could nto tear the smile from her face. Gryffin cocked her head, "Are you gonna show us how to hunt.. mice!" she yipped, once again acting like a pup, though in her own little mind she still thought herself as a pup. Gryffin looked over to Sudak starring at his form for a moment before shakign her head and turning away quickly. Gryffin growled at herself for starring and she then brought her gaze back onto Fiory, but th mouse trapt between her toes caught her attention. Gryffin barked outloud. "Wah! Your so good Fiory! You didn't even budge and the mice like naturaly COME to you" Gryffin spoke, starring in awe... Her bottom plopped down onto the snow as one of her front paws poked at the strugglign mouse. "Aunti Fiory I wanna catch the mice, so you and your pups can grow big and strong" she said her tail wagging crzier then ever.

Sudak saw Gryff begin to smile and then she started after him he saw her pounce out of the corner of his eye and didn't have enough time to move, not that he would have wanted too, he was having too much fun. She put him into the soft snow and he began laughing.
"no it didnt hurt, it tickled," he said laughing so hard.
Gryff began chewing on his ear opened his maw trying to get back at her ear. As Gryff got off of him he started to chase her but stopped as he saw the ebony varg step into the picture. Sudak had a huge smile across his face that he could not hide for anything. "Hey Fiory," barked Sudak. Sudak began laughing in amazement as Fiory caught the mouse between her toes.
"Yes you must teach us Aunt Fiory." Sudak had always considered Fiory as an aunt since Sudak was for the most part the same age as Gryff and Fiory being Gryff's aunt he considered Fiory his as well. The aunt he never had. He saw Gryffin turn back and stare at him for a moment. Sudak cocked his head to the side and smiled, while letting out a small yip. He sat there tongue hanging out of his mouth, trying to catch his breath from all of the excitement.

[glow=purple,9,000]The mouse squealed again in Fiory's paws grasp, but the femme didn't lift her foot off of the mouse's tail. She smiled broadly at her neice and nephew, for like Sudak, she also saw him as an extended nephew, just as he saw her as an aunt.
"Of course Gryffin, I will show you how to hunt mice." She said laughing a little and licking her neice upon her muzzle gently. Her rump lifted and she stood up, still holding the mouse with a front paw. She was no better at hunting mice then any of the other List pack vargs, but she would be happy to share what she knew.
"First little ones" The agile storyteller began, for she always saw Sudak and Gryffin as 'little ones' even though they were growing up into strapping young and beautiful vargs. "You must keep yourselves quieted. Catching mice is a tricky business dears, and if you stay quiet enough, the mice will come to you without knowing that they are." For a moment there was a pause before Fiory's maw lowered and she picked up the tired mouse from beneath her paw. Gently, like she would her own cubs, she held it in her mouth, though it struggled none the less, squeaking violently and twitching as if Fiory's long canines had peirced it's flesh.
"Another trick on the mice is, to appear uninterested." She said though her maw was muffled slightly with the squeaking. "Seem uninterested in eating, and they are curious to know why." She said with a chuckle, lowering her maw again and setting the mouse down at her feet. Quick as anything, the mouse scampered away, but it didn't go far. It stopped a few inches away from the ebony varg, and looked up at her, nose twitching and beady eyes glinting. It did seem that the mouse was curious as to why the large wolf had no eaten her, for she easily could have.
"Let me see young ones, how you pounce upon a mouse." Fiory replied kindly, her tail swishing as the mouse finally gave up and dashed away through the frozen ground and snow, tail high in the air as it zipped in and out of sight. [/glow]

Gryffin smiled her tail still wagging, its bushy sides sweepign at the powdery snow makign faint tracks in it. The tri coloured varg watched as the mouse shrieked and started to tug violently. Gryffin started o once again laugh, the sound of Sudak laughign and the sight of the mouse squealign was too much for GRyffin to hold back on the laughter. She plopped down onto her hind quarters and tried to bite her lip, hoping that her laughter would stop, as if her closed mouth was a barrier for the echo of laughter and prevent it from going through, but It still came louder then ever. After a minute or two Gryffin shok her muzzl," aaah I'm s-s-sorry auntie F-Fiory" she stuttered between sharp breathes. "I'll t-try to control them" Gryffin said her tongue hanging out takign in large amoutns of oxygen as her giggles receeded. She tried to remove her attention fro mthe squirming mouse, afraid that it would set up another chorus of laughter. The young wolf cleared her throat and stood up looking sophisticated. Gryffin couldn't help bu smile and give a small yip. She had always thought herself a pup and the thought that Fiory did aswell for some odd reason made her happy inside. Perhaps it was the fact that most of her happy memories was spent when she was a pup. That Gryffin did not know or just did not understand.
Gryffin listened intently on what Fiory said and nodded. "That always sounds easy" she said in a grim tone as she got up and starred down at the mouse that now hung in Fiory's jowls. Gryffin wrinkled her nose and stepped back and whispered to Sudak, "It is starring at me Sudak, with it's beady eyes! Make it stop" Gryffin giggled jokingly her tail swishing. The tri coloured varg watched as Fiory let the mouse go and as it scampered off.
Gryffin barked, "oooh how we pounce? I don't know auntie Fiory, but how ever we do it... it aint working!" Gryffin said imatating one of her pounces but slipped slightly and slid into Sudak, "S-sorry" Gryffin smiled, "Either I'm bad at p[ouncing or my paws don't like me..."

Sudak stood still and smiled as Gryffin whispered the haunting saying into his ears. He started to laugh but the mouse squirmed so he stopped. As Gryff imitated there excuse for pouncing she slid into him and put his weight against her to keep her and himself from tipping over. He smiled over at Gryffin and and said,
"Oh it's OK Gryff."
He looked back to Fiory now and awaited her wonderful teachings.

[glow=purple,9,000]The ebony varg gave a soft chuckle of amusment, watching the young vargs before her. My, they were growing up.
"you two.." She laughed softly, her tail wagging as she stood up again, her raven black nose twitching slightly.
"First, my dears, I will show you how to pounce, for I belive you Gryffin, perhaps your paws do not like you. So, make them like you." She said jokingly, trotting away a moment and expecting the younger vargs to follow. Her agile paws sank in the snow as she moved no more then about six feet from where she had been sitting before. An abrupt halt ensued and she motioned for them to be quiet over her shoulder.
"Stay silent, and listen very very carefully...Can you hear it?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper and her ears flicking around like mad. Almost silent to the normal ear, were tiny scritchy scratchy sounds of miniscule claws upon rock hard frozen earth. There were mice underneith them.
"Now, since we know where they are, we must be extremely quiet as to not startle them lest out hunt turn into a chase." The mysterious storyteller said softly, her voice even quieter then the first. Her face was quite serious now though however, for if there was even the slightest giggle, their cover would be blown, and the hunt would be at a loss. She did not mind the times when play was good to have, but at times of learning and hunting, seriousness needed to be taken every so often. [/glow]

(sorry i took so long to post!!!!)
Gryffin wagged her tassel, her emerald orbs burning bright as they fell upon Sudak. With a shy smile she then turned her attention back to the teaching Fiory. Silence was then brought down onto the trio of List vargs as Fiory listened for the tiny mouse. Gryffin strained herself forward, her own ears atop her crown swivelling madly trying to get a whiff of what Fiory was hearing. Gryffin frowned, she could not hear anything yet the ebon storyteller was already onto the trail of a mouse.
This was certainly harder then she had thought. Gryffin raised her dial as she listened to the star gazer's words. And Gryffin nodded sensing the seriousness in Fiory's voice. The tri hued varg did not dare to make a sound or distrupt the hunting session in any way, they needed to learn how to hunt, they needed to hunt, to hunt was to live.
(sorry sucky post I apoligize!!)
