Sudak rose from his haunches, curisous as to what exactly Lyft was listening to. He couldn't hear anything and the confusion in Gryffin's eyes confirmed this. She couldn't hear it either. He started after Lyft slowly and cautiously treading after her. He was watching each step she mad and his steps as well to make sure he wasn't going to fall into one of the tiny mice holes and give away their position to the rest. He could see the snow fall apart from around Lyfts feet where the edge of hole would be and Sudak would make sure to avoid that area.
Sudak looked back at Gryffin to make sure she was following and paying attention. He then turned his head back to Lyft, he didn't want to say anything for fear of ruining the "hunt" but instead he stood silent obeserving her every move.
(sorry, been very very busy lately.)

(*lickies* Sudak its Fiory btw)
Gryffin paused as she watched Fiory try to find the mouse. Gryffin frowned, this was harder then Fiory had said it to be. Gryffin pressed her ears forward but could not hear a thing. She growled silently to herself in annoyance but pressed forward again. Silence. All she could hear was the beating of her own rapid heart. er emerald green eyes scanned the snowy ground for any signs of the mouse. She blinked but then averted her gaze to the white wolf that stood beside him. Gryffin cocked her head as she watched him, his concentration aimed fully on Fiory and the hidden mouse.
Gryffin smiled starring at him and his fine features. How his fur was as white as the sparkling snow and his eyes as golden as Fenris. Gryffin jumped up realizing she was still starring. Quickly she swivelled her crown around and pointed her muzzle to Fiory hopign that Sudak had not noticed her staring at him....again.
Gryffin stole a side glance at him before returning her attention back onto Fiory. She bent lower this time and perked up her ears and to her amazement she heard it... She heard the mouse. The crinkling of snow under its tiny paws.

Sudak was starting to get irratated that he couldn't see or even hear this mouse. This creature was lower to him and should show himself. He just wanted to bark out and order it out of its hiding place. He felt a strong feeling as if somebody was staring at him and he jerked his head over his shoulder he saw, a glimpse of Gryffin's head julting back to Fiory. He gave a smile and turned his head back to Fiory, smile still across his maw. The fact that both of them were still embarrased to look at each other made him giggle inside. He saw Fiory still making her way over the velvety snow. He then turned his gaze back to Gryffin. He noticed her head low to the ground now and her ears twitching forward trying to hear. She was so focused, he was almost positive she didn't see him starring. He followed her stare to where she was looking and he bent down low to the ground as well. She must hear something, he thought to himself. He heard a faint sound but undistinguishable to him (hopefully that's how you spell that, lol). He turned his head to the side, confused.
"What is that sound, it's annoying," he whispered.
He looked over to Gryffin with a confused but focused look on his face.

[glow=purple,9,000]A glisten of joy sparkled in the storyteller's golden hues. She stayed stiff in the snow, and seemed not to breath, though smoke rose from her nostrils , rising up when she exhaled.
"So you hear it then?" She whispered softly, her voice half silent and hardly audible. A smile spread across her raven black maw, and an agile paw moved. It was like a stone statue was moving it's tired and worn joints for the first time. She was slow at moving it, and kept herself as quiet as she could when stepping foreward and crunching the snow again. Her nose wiggled back and forth searching for the scent, but she could not find it for now with all the snow.
"Now that you hear the mouse, you must pinpoint it's location. Where the sound is the loudest to you, is where the mouse is hiding. It is a very tricky game we play. For as we are trying to catch the mouse, he is trying to hide from us. Sometimes we win, and the hunt is successful, and sometimes he wins, and the hunt is at a loss. When you believe you have pinpointed the mouse, pounce with both paws foreward and together, springing with your back legs. They are stronger then your front, and will propel you foreward faster. Keep yourselves quiet though." The femora whispered, giving a wink as she stood there. She had found the mouse, she knew where it lay silent in hiding under the snow. About a foot in front of them, silent and still it lay, twitching it's whiskers back and forth, scratching against the ground as quietly as it could as it tried to both stay quiet, and find the hunters that were after it at the same time. Fiory could see him without her eyes, could the cubs?[/glow]

Gryffin cocked her head, her emerald optics squinting as she eyed the snow as if she had kept on staring logn enough the snow would become invisable. Gryffin sighed, she could hear it but she could not see it. Gryffin had not seen Sudak stare at her either. When the tri coloured wolf turned around to gaze at Sudak he had already turned his stare away. Gryffin gave a smile just as Fiory began to whisper. Gryffin nodded, tensing her back legs and ready to pounce with her forepaws.
She bent forwards nodding still to Fiory's words. Gryffin determined as she stood frozen like a mountain, unable to move no matter what element hit it. Fiory had taught her about how the hunt could go either way, won or lost. Gryffin did not want to lose this one. She pricked forward her crimson ears bent forwards aswell as they twitched tryign to pick up the sounds. She looked up at Fiory, her gaze concentrated and Gryffin knew at once that she had foudn the mouse. The growing pup frowned. Where was it? Gryffin breathed in deeply tryign hard to be silent as a puff of visable breath curled from her nares. Then it shifted. The mouse shifted just a bit and Gryffin knew exactly where it was. Excitement grew as a large smile came across her maw. Or so at least she thought she knew where the mouse was....
