"Okay then.... your plan works...." She snuck through the grass again waiting for the signal... "I'll wait for the signal...." She waited in the tall flowing grass and waited to hear a low growl or a distinct russle or something... She still waited..
((that was REALLY CRAPPY!))

Tarkah listened to the blue tinted she wolf and nodded. Her tail wavering in the air as her own muscles tensed udner her skin and coat ready to launch an attack any moment now. She was ready with her ears pricked forward she crept silently into the grass taking up her own position.
She looked over to her two packmates "Be careful not to let her run faster then you, and watch those hooves" she reminded. Wolves had died fbefore from hunting accidents, Tarkah knew that and she wasn't planning on having any of her packmates fall from hunting tragedies anytime soon.
Her eyesfocused on the hind they were going to attack and the arctic she wolf readied, angling herself as she looked to Amora, expecting her too lead. Tarkah waited and looked to Amoria giving her a nod as well as for Kahuri. Together the three of them could bring the hind down.

((sorry but I am in a Bloody mood today)) Amoria was getting ahead of herself. She needed the signal but she couldn't wait. The herla was facing the other direction and was grazing. She needed to go now. She was waiting till it went to nap on the plain and she could stand it no more. She sped out of her cover to the lone herla off to the side, nipping a few heels on the way. 2 healthy ones stumbled and fell, but she was after one target. She saw that the target was finnaly getting up stumbling along the way. She lept and clamped down her jaws on the under belly only to be thrown off. She could do this on her own... she hoped. She chased after it, slightly limping, and clamped down, till wolfbane burned himself at her fang tips, on the herla's neck. She was thrown off yet again... but this time it could do no more. She locked her gaze with the herla's gaze, fixed in its moment of death. This was her cultures way of saying, "Thankyou for your death..." And the herla's way of saying, "I hope you like your happy meal.... would you like fries with that?" She had brought down a lone deer on her own... of course it was weak and limping, but she still did it. The pain in her spine increased and she fainted right next to her kill in a trance of saying. "I did it, I killed it, I did it, I killed it."

Tarkah looked to Amoria and as the youth sprung Tarkah sprung as well. Her back legs pushing her into a steady speed, But she would let Amoria take the lead of the hunt. Tarkah looked up "Amoria watch out!" the drappa cried hoping that her excitement would not overtake the youth's target and mission.
Tarkah sped up dodging other hinds as she ran towards the hind Amoria took. Tarkah leapt towards her as she saw her being thrown off. The drappa gave a bark but as she leapt something collided into her throwing the drappa like a bouncing rag doll. THe arctic femme yelped as she had collided into a stampeding hind. THe drapap groaned as she lifted herself back onto her feet shaking her muzzle to rid the dizzyness that clung to her bodice like thorns. Grunting and teeth clenched Tarkah lifted her golden eyes towards Amoria who now had her teeth clenched onto the hinds neck.
Finding strength the drappa let out a long bark and with a few thrusts of her hind legs she galloped over to the fray, and lunged digging her fangs into the hinds left flank, using her weight to anchor the cow down. Talons dug as she shook her head from side to side recklessly and no sooner did Tarkah begin her vicious attack did the doe fall limp to Amoria's will. Tarkah released her grasp and looked up. Tongue hanging down, peppered with the taste of herla blood as she panted. Though Amoria should have waited, Tarkah felt proud of the youth for the hunt. "Well done Amor-" Tarkah praised between breathes when her golden eyes caught the youth's legs turn into jelly before she fainted.
Tarkah barked, looking over to the adolscents mother before rushing over to her side. "Amoria!" the drappa called giving her bloodied muzzle a lick.

((Mine are 2 paragraghs shorter ussually, so you say that sucks?)) Amoria Blinked her eyes open. She couldn't get up. Her legs were frail from the tiring hunt. She felt as if one of her legs was twisted, healable, but twisted. The Huntress looked to the herla, It had more bites than she gave. It must of been also brought down by Tarkah or Kahuri. The Koranian looked and saw Tarkah looking to her. The Varg tried to get up. It took efort and 2 times she fell over. She finally stood up. "Should we take it to camp?"

It seemed just as the she was bout to begin the hunt it was over. Kahuri found herself left in a slight daze when the hind fell over dead and Amoria followed. She heard Tarkah calling out Amoria's name and then the bronze painted fae was getting to her paws once more. It left the drappa still locked in her hunting stance, eyes glazed over with a blank expression plastered on her maw.
Finally she straightened herself up, catching hold of her lost voice and bounded over to her adopted daughter and Alpha.
"Amoria!" She echoed Tarka's cry. "Oh Tor! Are you okay? That was quite a tumble, but a wonderful kill for being on your own!" Her worried eyes turned into a look of joy and approval, if she got use to a little more teamwork Amoia could really be a wonderful Lead Huntress. But now she needed rest- and food! Kahuri turned her gaze to the still form of the doe, the light scent of blood filling her nostrils. But she knew that it wasn't right to eat before the Leader, so taking one last whiff of her upcoming meal the limpid she-wolf sat and waited patiently.

"Thanks... Considering that the hind has an infected leg there is enough for a few bites for each varg, Some extra for Tarkah and the Betas, and ofcourse. " Amoria looked to her Drappa and Adopted mother and tried hauling the herla alone. She had gotten a few feet, stopped, tried again, and collapsed.

Tarkah watched as Amoria raised herself off from the ground. A sigh of relief escaped the drappa's maw as she watched the youth rise, though she was still wobbly. "Yes I have to agree Amoria, that was quite the little accident" Tarkah said giving the youth a lick on her forehead.
She then nodded "There will be enough for everyone" Tarkah grinned, her tassel giving a light shake as she watched Amoria begin to drag the carcass. Tarkah barked, "Amoria wait." she began but before she could say much Amoria had collapsed.
Tarkah padded upto her helping her back up onto her feet, "There is no need to bring the carcass there" Tarkah spoke, " We can eat here and who ever is hungry will come here to eat. They did not help in the hunt so they might as well make the trip" Tarkah said giving a kind smile to Amoria.
Tarkah lowered her muzzle "I think you'll make a fine lead huntress one day, but you must work on your teamwork first" Tarkah spoke. " Being a lead huntress isn't just about being the best hunter. THe best hunter in the world might not be able to accomplish some tasks alone. He needs his team mates" Tarkah smiled before nuzzling the she wolf. "But you did mighty fine today, and you make Kahuri and I proud" Tarkah grinned looking up to view the blue tinted wolf.

((Crappy crappy... Since when did you become the writer of Chicken Soup? Plus... you are a TURKEY!))
Amoria looked up through the little cloud of dust,"Yeah... teamwork. But I hate waiting. Could the other vargs just hurry for the hunt? It would make more sense." The she varg looked to her adopted mother, then to her drappa, then to the herla.... "Can we eat now?"

Tarkah laughed though she looked to Amoria with a serious tone, "Waiting can be painful, in some sort of way. But patience is virtue" Tarkah nudged her, "In order for a successful hunt we must wait. In order to keep ourselves dry we must wait outthe storm.
Tarkah dipped her head towards the herla, her jaws piercing the outer hide as she tore out a fresh hunk of meat. She licked her chops as she dug into it. She shook out her fur lifting up her head as she turned to Amoria and Kahuri. "Alright alright go on fill up those bellies" Tarkah spoek as she let out a yawn. She then turned to Amoria, "Yes Amoria Teamwork, Just..keep that in mind alright? Tarkah spoke and padded a few feet away slumping as she rested, waitign for them to finish their meal.
