[glow=purple,9,000]Hey there guys, you all know me as Fiory, (or Shatila, Winged Arrow, or Avia, but mostly as Fiory) but I'd like to share some other stuff about me that you may not know. For one, I'm 18 years old, seriously, no joke (yes yes yes, I know I act like...5...but I was born February 9th, 1987, so that makes me 18.) and I'm a senior in High school in the states. I'm female (duh) and love wolves (again duh), and can also be highly sarcastic (as you've already seen ) There's one thing however, that many people don't know about me. It's a private matter, and I choose to tell you guys here at The Sight, because I feel I can trust you with this information. I'm going deaf. Not partially, not temporarily, but completly and utterly permanently. There's no surgery I can take, nor drug I can choke down. It's just what is going to happen. I already can't hardly hear what's going on in my classes and have to ask my teachers several times sometimes to repeat themselves a little louder. Some people on TS already knew this stuff, but I feel it's a part of me, I shouldn't be ashamed of it, and blah blah blah. Anyhow, other then that bit of bad news, I enjoy life. I love horseback riding, and am excited for the summer time. My aunt has been reintroducing wolves to the wild, by breeding them at her cabin in the Cascade mountains and then shipping them to Yellow Stone National park, or to Zoos around the country. One of my favorite Grey's (grey wolf) is due to birth her first litter of cubs this summer, and my aunt has promised me that I am allowed to help this time. I can't wait. If I remember to bring my camera, I'll take lots of photos to post up here for you guys, cause I know you'll want to see the newborns just as badly as I do. Anyway, that's all I've got to say I guess, Thanks for reading, and oh (if I figure this out correctly) I have a picture of myself down below here so you can see how 'Fiory' really looks....And by the way, my real name is Cassandra, though most just call me Cassidy, Cass or Casey. [/glow]

[glow=purple,9,000]Lol I'm sorry your insanely jealous of me. It's not like I get to see them often, but I'll try my best not to forget my camera...or film for that matter *whimpers* I can for right now if you want, send you some of the pictures of our wolves either in the cabin acres, or in zoos/yellowstone. The rangers at yellowstone love taking pictures of our wolves and sending back little reports with them on how they're doing. We like that a lot, cause the wolves end up being part of our family and shtuff. I think Sequoia (mah fave) is due to birth June 3rd....ish.. lol[/glow]

[glow=purple,2,3,00]Thought I'd give an update, since people were waiting to hear about Sequoia's birth. She did give birth at 5:32 Am on June 3rd this past summer and the pups are now almost 2 months old. Luckily, I brought my camera even though I didn't have many pictures left on it, and I took a few shots of the wolves at my aunt's cabin (I stayed for the two months after the birth before coming home.....I just got home like, a week and a half ago.) So yay! Oh and since I read that Amaroq's birthday was the same as the puppies, I named one of the girl's Amaroq. My aunt didn't understand why I named her that, but she hardly understands why I name the pups anything in the first place, so she went with it. Sequoia had three girls and a boy. She had had another boy, but we couldn't get him to wake up...*sniffles* But loosing one out of five is pretty dang good odds so we're happy with the outcome.... Since their eyes and ears are pretty open now, the pups are scampering around my aunt's cabin like crazy. Sequoia gave birth in my aunt's kitchen, in her box, and we blocked off the dining room, kitchen and living room for her and her pups to play in safely without going and making messes in my aunt's study or upstairs. :-P So ok, your probably thinking "Shut up! Show us da puppies!!" So, here they are, hopefully underneith this post....*Crosses fingers* ........................Ok, I don't know how to upload pictures from my computer, up into a post here.........Once someone tells me how to do that, then I can post up the pictures of the puppies....*sigh* -.-'[/glow]

OK EVERYONE, Here are the long awaited "Aunty Fiory's Wolf Cubs Pictures" .... she showed them to me and told me to share... so I guess I will .... always gotta listen to the drappa. Don't worry, still love ya the same fi' (short for fiory for those not that quick on the paws) *The following is as quoted by Aunty Fiory herself* This is Sequoia...She doesn't like her picture taken I think, cause she growls and looks peevey when she hears the camera's click...lol..... [glow=purple,2,3,00]Fiory Edit: Yah, just forgot to mention..this picture of Sequoia and the one below this one, was taken about a week or so before she gave birth (I think if I remember right), so she's still all...poochy still with the puppies inside her....Just thought I'd mention it. [/glow] See? What'd I say? :-P She looks peevey.... www.alaskaairva.com/sudak/Sequoia and Pups.jpg[/img] Idk why my computer made the picture smaller, but it did...This is Sequoia and her four puppies...The one closest to her head is the only male. FEMALE PUPPY! EEP! SoOO CUTE! This is Amaroq, for Amaroq....Lol This is the daddy, Toby...He's such a posing puppy isn't he? I think he knows when people are taking his picture.... **** (Sudak Speaking) I REALLY THINK TOBY LOOKS LIKE ME.... DOESN'T HE? ***** That's Toby and my uncle Todd roughhousing....Goofballs... -.-' Toby and Todd are like best buddies or something, they're always messing around... See? And gah! Sorry the picture's so dang small....-.-' Stupid computer... www.alaskaairva.com/sudak/Silly Millie.jpg[/img] It's Millie! XD Silly Millie. She's a young female in my aunt's pack..She's such a spaz...That's why her name is Silly Millie. www.alaskaairva.com/sudak/toby and bristol.jpg[/img] GAH! Again! It's Small! WTF!?! Ok, That's my uncle Todd...Toby, and then that's my second favorite male Bristol in the back...Named after you know who. :-P Lol -------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways everybody this is Sudak again. Enjoy the beautiful pics of the wolves of Aunty Fiory. I think I came up with a catchy nickname for the pack.... haha .... I still think that Toby looks like Sudak.... A LOT!!!

*Farrah can't think of a way to compensate her immense steadily growing jealousy, so she decides to chase her tail instead*
I'm so jealous! Actually, I live in SC (in case there are some people around who don't know where most of the redneck population lives, it's South Carolina!) so we really don't have alot of wolves; just foxes...and squirrels...and raccoons...anyhowl... What are the other pups' names...besides Amaroq? And how in the world did your Aunt and Uncle get a license to keep the wolves captive and sell them? I would like to know because my cousin and I plan to one day move to Nevada and breed wild wolves and mustangs (at a distance, somewhat...kinda like a reserve so there are no opposing forces) to be released into the wild. She is obsessed with horses and I with wolves (and large cats, but I don't know how soon the government will let that happen!!) so we just figured (again, it's my redneck heritage come back to haunt me!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!) that we could buy a huge mansion somewhere practically unpopulated (hopefully in the U.S. but I do have relatives in Transylvania [one of my incentives for reading the Sight in the first place and eventually coming to the Sight's site] and it's not very populated and [as you know] houses wolves of all kinds) area and have an awesome farm of exotic/endangered/threatened/fuzzy/cuddly/cute/weird/I think you get my drift animals and produce. But that's just us, I guess.
