Well I think it's better to be safe then sorry.. I think I would rather accidently kill somebody we think has a bomb then to be killed in the process if he did have one. Just me maybe..

You, apparently. Me, no. I believe that the FOUNDATION IDEAS of American 'justice' were good; I would rather die myself than to kill someone innocent. I have nothing to live for and I know where I'm going. Anyways *not religious not religious not religious* ...that's just where I stand. If you're wondering why I put 'justice' in little quotie things (they're more like apostraphes...but I'm too lazy to do real quotes ) is because I believe it has gone down the drain, as is present in some prominant cases in Iraq. My uncle was ON FALSE EVIDENCE THAT WAS TWICE DISPROVEN deported on accounts of being a Nazi. Ok, let's backstep, shall we? My uncle...great uncle, excuse me...was 19 during WWII, and had a gun pointed to his head. He was told by a Nazi soldier to watch a gate and ensure that no one went in and no one came out...he had no idea that Jews were being massacred inside...anyways, U.S. 'justice' administrators found a document stating that he had joined the Nazis volluntarily. It was not signed legibly and was written in Romanian. My uncle has never learned Romanian. Thus, he has been deported and, due to lack of insurance and medical help there, is slowly dying without me being able to see him one last time. AKA: I'm beginning to think less and less of this war, but as I've said before, I think it needs to be stuck with until some other resolve is made and until the Iraqis can support themselves without our intereference and without the help of terrorirsts.

Is this really the best place to be talking about the war? Me personally, I come to TS as a way to escape harsh realities of life, not be reminded of them. But from time to time I keep seeing this thread pop up. Might as well postie my thoughts right?
In thuth I really don't know much about the war in Iraq, I don't keep tabs on it at all. But in my opinion I think it's gone on for way longer then it's had too. Sure there are still random bombings we hear about on the news and stuff, but at some point the Iraq armines need to stand on their own two feet. They have their own life, and we have ours. As far as I know, they don't have anymore WMD's, so what harm can they do to us now? I hope that at some point the president, congress, or who ever is in charge of this war realizes that we don't have to baby sit Iraq anymore cause alot of soilders want to come home to there familes and now Bush is sending even more troops.
In short, I agreed with going to war, I don't agree with baby sitting Iraq. We never did that for WW1 and WW2, so why start now?
