For many a year now, I have seen many referrences that blondes are stupid and gingers are idiots. Tor has confirmed my suspicions about blondes by saying that a blondie is a clone *scowls* what are your opinions on this unfair judgement on my fellow blondies and friends, the gingers?

I've heard the blond thing, but i've never heard the ginger thing... O.< but personaly were i have lived, most of the really stupid people in my schools were blonds... not al natural though, some of them were bleached... i'm not saying thats how it goes for all blonds, but the mass majority i've meet were rather stupid...

I strongly agree with Renn. I find it ridiculos how people make fun out of ordinary other people with different hair colours. I mean some poeple may call me a dumb blonde or even ginger! I don't really mind it because I have been picked on before about my Xma. Its really cruel how people shout at you because your Ginger or call you a stupid blonde. Im part Ginger and part Blonde. My hair colour is called Tissen. (What my mom says anyway). I really think it should stop, its not our fault we have different hair colours than everyone else!

Oi oi oi!!
I may have said being a blonde is a clone, but that doesn't mean I have a lot against them just because of their hair colour! I know loads of blondes, and I am indeed a natural blonde...but choose to hide it with a much nicer red which I think suits me far better.
I have many blonde, brunette AND ginger friends. All i'm saying is, blonde is becoming a fashion trend because people with all hair colours seem to be dying their hair blonde or giving themselves blonde highlights. And why? I have no idea!

Actually, your hair colour is called Strawberry Blone. Hey, a fellow blondie (or half-blondie). Zhentee, what is your natural colour?

But the term "Dumb Blonde" Is really stupid because some blondes are highly intelligent. Have any of you heard of the "Blonde" jokes which really offend blondes in the way that people think are stupid? They are kinda funny I have got to admit but they are still really offensive.

Dumb blonde jokes annoy me yes, but I know a few that are really funny. I don't get offended by them quite as much when they're harmless like the two I know well. But there are some that are just horrible.
What gets me the most is when people seem horribly offended if people are ginger and they call them 'ginger minger'. We get that quite a lot up here (mainly cause well...Scots have a lot of gingers )
I get called a 'wannabe ginge' cause I dyed my hair red. But I couldn't care less what people say. I ain't gonna change it for them.

[glow=black,2,3]I despise the "dumb blonde" joke. Well, when it's said to my face. For that very reason, I refuse to admit I'm blonde (Which I'm not, I'm Dirty blonde. Their's a difference). It's not true. I know loads of blonde people who are rather smart. I've seen my share of people who are- truly dumb. I'm sorry, they are. Out of all those people I know, I think only 2 out of the 7 are naturally blonde. The others are fake, and but in highlights. Blonde are very common here, and I bet if I lived further north, my hair would be much darker.
The ginger thing? I never heard of it. Is ginger red- head, or Burnett?[/glow]

I suppose people are actually wanting to be blonde. I don't know why but people have just started to dye their hair or bleach it. Ruining it of coarse. I want the ends on my hair black because I am actually going gothic (Not fully. Im not aloud to dye my whole head)
The ginger thing is totally worse than the "Dumb Blonde" thing. You get people in my class calling me a ginger ninja because I have natural ginger streaks in my hair, giving my hair that ginger look. People just don't have manners anymore. I have been brought up with manners and shall teach my children them so hopefully they shall carry it on. I hate them Chava's which pick on people because of their hair colour.
My friend has ginger air. Aned I mean ginger, she is cool though. Ginger isn't a red head its kind of orange. We have a small joke by calling each other CopperTops and trying not to be offensive. I suppose that Red Heads have more of a rich red colour than ginger.

my hair color is whats called medium brown its not dark brown, but not light. However i do have a blond streak in teh back of my head. My mom says its there cuz thats were she smashed my head into a cupboards corner when i was a baby. (by compleet ascident i swear!). but i tend to bleach and die it a bright red... no more though, since that STUPID company took over were i work and told me i cant no more! *skakes fist* i wonder if i could get away with dieing it black... thats a natural hair colore right?
hmm.. I'm rambaling. But ya know what, its not just blonds and gingers that get made fun of. people automaticly assumu you're some sort of no good punk or goth kid if you die your hair some sort of weird color, and thats not always the case. its the same situations as blonds (and i supose gingers, but like i said erlier... i've never heard that before), sure some are, but not all, its just a stupid asumption.

At my school, being a blonde labels you as a) trendy b) dumb c) slutty.
All of the ditzy little preps at my school have blonde hair, and they're usually the ones who twirl their fingers around in their hair and flirt with guys all day long. BUT two of my closest friends are really clever, intelligent blondes and I was blonde until i was about 6 when my hair suddenly turned dark brown and then this weirdish colour...but I know lots of girls who simply dye their hair to go with the fashions. -rolls eyes- It makes no sense.
And I've never heard of the ginger thing; one my buddies has bright ginger hair and we call her hannah banana but thats about it. o.O I think i know maybe two or three reds that go to my school...thats about it, though.
Black haired people are CONSTANTLY labeled either as goths or emo, especially if its a guy with long skater hair. And now there's this haircut thats claled THE EMO HAIRCUT thats going around, but its really aggrivating because one of my BESTEST BUDDIES started it...she cut her hair herself...and now everybody does it, and everybody streaks their hair red like hers...so here, hair colours really are just trends. xD
I'm getting blue and silver streaks in my hair, though, if my work will let me...don't you just hate work dress codes, Zhentee?

[glow=black,2,3]Blonde is the fashion, I guess. I think blondes are stereotyped to be the most popular. Like, cheerleaders and what not. I hate it. Even so, I have to admit, I do like the special blend of my hair, the way it had natural blonde highlights. I would never die my whole head, just the tips. I want my tips a dark, crimson red. *smiles* Fits, with my dark clothing and personality. People who talk to me on the computer swear they pictured me as a red head, and never imagined me as a blonde. But, yeah. I'll shut up now.
Yeah, ok. See, we never use the term "ginger". You're either blonde, burnette, black, or a red- head. But some people, like me, prefer the sub terms, like strawberry blonde, dishwater blonde, and so on and so forth.
The ginger thing is kind of ironic, 'cause my best friend is 'ginger" or whatever, and she ranks 11 out of 410 in our class. Damn good, if you ask me. Heck, I rank somewhere in the 380's out of 410. It's a total self esteem killer; I thought I was smart.[/glow]

Oh boy do i know how your friend feels Lydair, about the whole, every one copying her style thing! I started cutting my hair in this werid way due to a stupid phobia i have, and now its a trend! EVERY ONE is cutting thier hair like it! i have people come into were i work, and points and say 'she stole may hiar cut!' when i know for a fact i had it first! Its SO annoying! >.<
And YES work dress codes stink! and actualy my haircut its self COMPLEETLY goes against the dress code, but my boss is nice, and lets me get away with it. She also let me get away with dieing it red, but since the new company took over, she cant lets us get away with as much! *sniffls* it makes me sad... I iked my hair bright red...
BTW, if you dont mind me asking Lydair, how does your friend cut her hair? like... whats her cut look like?

[glow=black,2,3]I have a question, what is the dress code at your work? Do they let you wear jeans with holes in them? Even if their on the knees or below? Or is it our stupid school now, where I was written up because of a new rule saying we can't wear jeans with holes in them or frayed at the bottom. I'm sorry, I'm just so peeved at that![/glow]
