Tor was high that night….. In the sky her bright face lit up the night. It was the highest the moon would get all year, and also the brightest. The air was cold and bitter for a spring day in a forest located deep, deep in Northwest Romania. An eagle screeched above the skies, though it was night, the mysterious brightness of the moon naturally made all of the Lera nocturnal. Many sounds were about the woods, but I think the most crisp and delicate sound was the Varg.
All of the night waited for this peaceful song, a song usually sung most every time the moon was up. A Kerl was among the forest. A song of a hunt, in front of this wolf was a freshly caught red doe. It was rare for a she-wolf to catch one on her own, but it was worth it. The song rose through the frozen spring air, thanking the moon goddess Tor, for giving her the chance to get food after a scares winter.
This fae was named Talar, a young wolf, she had deep violet eyes, her fur was silver and she had a white stomach that ran from the tip of her tail to her chest. She was different, she had teardrop markings going down her muzzle and black-fur socks on her paws. She welcomed new visitors, mainly just to chat or bicker, she had always loved company even if they fought. Something strange seem odd around her though, like something had caught her scent, and she caught its.
Talar heard a crack in the woods behind her, she carefully walked toward the sound, “What is that?" She thought in her head getting ready to pounce at what ever would come out, “who are you!? Show yourself!” But it was gone, nothing came out, she heard nothing. So Talar went forward leaving her food behind, “Hey!, get back here!” She yelled chasing after the mysterious thing, “Hey!” She yelled again, It ran so fast Talar might have thought it was Fernis himself.
After a while Talar gave up and decided to head back, it was nearly another sun. Some presents didn’t feel right, Talar kept her guard on looking to where ever something may or may not come out. Once Talar got nearly back to her den a strong gust of wind came her way, and through the icy-cold air she smelt a fresh, strong scent of something new. Then suddenly, Talar’s eyes widened as she headed into a full sprint. As she came up to the clearing were she had laid her fresh Lera, a bear stood over it eating away, and Talar gave out a deep, low growl.
Then the bear spotted Talar, their eyes met and the bear got up on his back legs and towerd over Talar and the carcass. Talar surprisingly didn’t back down though, maybe it was the prize of the feast, or just pride, but Talar wasn’t going to let this happen. Within seconds there came to be a flash of teeth, fangs, and claws.

A cold bitter night, the moon was at her fullest. Fernis had gone down. Two eyes serched in the night, her wasn't familiar with where he was going, a lonley kerl he was. The smell of blood from a red deer rose as he smelt it. He was running to it, hoping it was an abandoned carcass. He felt the rocks scar his frozen paws and the dewy mud on his feet.
He heard a howl, and his ears ywitched to notice that it was close. When he reached the smell he saw a young Fae, she stood infront of the kill howling in happiness. Blitzen relized that he would have to wait to ever eat again so he turned back. At the same moment he stept on a stick which interupted the song of the Fae. She looked back as he hid behind a few trees conected by the roots.
She walked closer and started to talk, saying things like, "Who are you? Show yourself!" Blitz didn't answer, he had a logn history in getting in trouble, so he learned to keep his mouth shut. He ran off, and faster she fallowed. He manadge to hide his trail by jumping further. Soon he lost her, or so he thought. He looked back to see she gave up and walked back to her feast in the night.
Blitzen looked up in the sky, he didn't go back. He layed down and eventually fell asleep. In his sleep he kept on hearing barks, growls from a single wolf, and roars from a bear. Occationally yelps too. Suddenly he woke to find that it wasn't a dream. It was really happening. He must've figured the young Fae from earlier was in trouble. Blitz sprang up and raced to the sounds, as fast as his feet could take him.
He reached the openning to see the Fae fighting a bear over the kill. Well she was having a bad night. Blitz decided to help, he might be rewarded with some of the meat, well, if they could even get ther bear away. While the bear had his back turned Blitz sprang up and pirced his fangs into the back of its neak, making it roar in pain.

Talar lunged at the bear under the moon, her strength wasn't the best but she wouldn't give up. Her swiftness and agility helped her for when the dumblike bear tried to strike at her. She swerved under and through its legs constantly. Then once from out of her blind spot the bears paw swooped for her and she was thrown through the air and rolled over onto the ground. The bear walked over to finnish her of, but then then the strangest thing happend as she lied there on the ground.
The bear let out a painful roar that rose to the heavens, What the....? Talar thought in wonder. Then there bear went back on all fours and Talar could see a young Varg clawing into the bears neck with his fangs. The mann, it must have been the one she had scented earlier, and the one she heard through the woods just moments ago. She had never seen him before though.
Talar had a hunch that she needed to help she lunged into the bear, blood swirled on the ground. Together they faught for the prey and the pride. Many times the bear had broke free and charged at them, but these wolves were more than determind. For hunger and bloodlust took over feeling. They kept onattacking at its back, two to one wasnt still hard. Then finally, the bear had givin up.
Along the bear took off and Talar walked over to her deer and layed flat on the ground covered in blood, not sure if it was bear blood, of her own. Maybe a bit of both, but the fight had taken a toll on both her rib cage and legs. She almost thought she had broken a rib at first. Talar took a weak bite out of the deer carcass at looked over to the mann standing before her, "Thank you," she bowed her head, " I might have not made it, if it wern't for you. Please, have some meat. Regain your strength." She examened the Varg," By the way, I am Talar, who are you to wander this forset alone?"
The night got colder as the looked to the East, Dusk was upon them and Fernis rose greatly in the skies like he did every sun. The soar muscles of the Varg were restless but tired at the same time.

After the horrid fight Blitz was also torn up with gashes and bruses from the bear, Hopefully it dosen't come back he thought. The looked to the East, as Fernis came up, blood dripped from his neck. He looked toward Talar and answered, " You are welcome, I'm sure many would do the same,... thankyou for the opffer of meat, I am famished. I have not eaten in a long time. Food is scarce."
He took a chunk out of the deer and ate next to the young Fae, his stomach leased as he began to eat away. Blitz growled satisfyingly. "I am Blitzen, some just call me Blitz. It is nice to meet you Talar." Blitz said feeling the air slightly get warmer as ther first bits of Fernis appeared in the sky. The wolf trail slowly faded away alonmg with Tor. " Travel much, I am just on my way coming through the woods, I am heading to the Vally, probly to look for a pack there. "
The day grew warmer and the light passed, "Talar, where do you come from?" He asked. Are you a Kerl like me? Or did your pack fade away?" Fernis grew high in the sky, Blitz stood there next to Talar, his new friend watching dusk break into many colors lighting the world onmce more. He thought of his old pack, the one he left behind to start anew and become a Kerl. He yet not to know what might become of his journey. He was just happy his stomach was full.
"Lets go Talar, you are welcome to come. I'm actually not sure whose pack I'll join. But we make a good team. Perhaps maybe till we reach the vally we should travel together. There are many dangers out there for wolves of our age." Then Blitz took of feeling the undergrowth and rock coldly under his feet once more on this spring day hoping Talar was fallowing. They were traveling slow through the land. Due to their injuries they couldn't run. Slowly trotting and talking about thereselves on the way.

Dawn came in, BLitz was the young manns name."Nice to meet you" But when he said he was looking for the Balkar, Talars eyes widened in horror and anger. She somewhat dispised the balkar. "Arn't you a little to friendly to join them, not that I'm saying you can't." Her tail rose just a little to Blitz, but he didn't seem a thret so Talar kept quiet.
"My pack, it faded away, by humans, so yes I am a kerl, but I'm looking to join a pack, either Deor or Koran." Talar said being a little stuck up from before. She licked one of her scares that bled from the recent bear attack. fernis indeed held high into the sky, but the air was yet still bitter cold.
Also with a full stomach Talar watched the sun rise and their wounds heal, they wern't the worst she has ever had but they hurt. Suddenly Blitz made a decision to move on more North where he'll find this pack he is looking for. He had asked her to come, Talar hesitated, but he was right, it was dangerous and they did make a good team in fighting and hunting. Talar looked South suddenly, the pack she longed for was the opposite way.
Well maybe if I fallow him I could convince him to join a differnt pack, like the Sarness or List. She thought. I can come back here later in time to join the other packs. Talar bitterly wined, she didn't want to be alone again. Blitzen had already taken off. Slowly because of wounds Talar caught up, making her mind to fallow him, weather the decision was good or not. She forced her self, and they talked.
Fernis got higher in the sky, Talar still didn't know if she could trust him, for even knowing him not even half a sun. Still she went, she wanted to go, get out of the forest, it held many memories and she knew she had to move on one way or another. Along the way she even learned new things about Blitz, "I'm sorry for well,...acting stuck up." Talar finally said sighing to herself. She needed to get that out.

Blitz snorted in disbelief, "Too nice! he snarled, I only helps you to get some food okay!"He snarled as he stepped up to her as her tail rose. " If you want to test if im good enough to be balkar, I'll go right ahead and show you." His tail rose higher than hers.
Fernis was almost above them, glowing bright on the scares airs day. Light seeped through the damp trees. Dew formed on the leaves as it dripped on the forest floor. "You choose to join them?!" He spat. Blitz shook his head and decided to keep qiet after Tarlar seemed to get a little annoyed. Blitz knew she was right though...he at all wasn't goood enough to join them, but-...he could try couldn't he. When he was a pup, he always had wanted to be first, the strongest, the meanest. He was in real life now, it was differnt to be like that when you are a kerl.
Once the day passed and their wounds were fine enough to travel, they headed off into the North. They ran the whole time, he could even scence what Tarlar was thinking of, it almost annoyed him. Her awarness of everything around her, but Blitz knew she was smart. Probably better off without him, and she only came for the adventure. Somehow he knew she nearly forced herself to go, whether she wanted to or not.
Fernis became mid-day and they ventured out of the forest, well the outside of the forest at least. Then he heard the most unexpected thing come out of Talars mouth, she said she was sorry. Blitz almost burst out laughing at this wolves eager guiltness of thinking she acted "stuck up wise". "No," Blitz lowered his head to her, "If anyone should be sorry, it may as well been me. I know through this journey I have been no help to friendship either. We are just.... differnt ways in things see life."

Talar caught up with Blitz swiftly as they stormed through the forest unstopped, the smelt a few varg on their way, somethings able to hunt also. For fun they chased some Herla and scared some birds. The two Varg may have not really gotten along or had much in common. They atleast tried to not bicker or fight half the time, for somethings they did have in common with life.
Under the Fernis high in the sky things have started to warm up, the river was warm and pleasing to drink, Lera were less scarse, and the air, it felt freash as two sets of orbs roamed through to get out of the forset and to the greater packs beyond. The closer the two have gotten to the river, the more the land seemed to mud as there paes left distinct footprints deep into the mud. Then freash into the day the light seemed to be brighter than ever as the trees thinned into the openning as before them the river flowed. Deep in its curresnt you could tell it would be just a challeng to even try to cross.
"Well," Talar said with a tired grin, "How do you think we are gonna cross, boy?" SHe walked up to the edge of the river to see only a bit of way off the was a small little fall, or water fall you might call it. She dipped her head and lapped up some water. " I don't see any man bridge but I do see some small rocks up the river," Tarlar said looking to them. "Do you think that it is even safe?"
The river held a deep secret, an undertow that couldn't be noticed from looking by it, but it could catch and drag down even the largest petunor in the forest. "It will be dangerous, maybe we should just well find a safer way around. Do you think?""

The young varg padded through the crisp bright green forest. The birds sang, the sound of the river running calmed her. The conapy of threes gave her shade and the soft green grass felt good to her paws. She smelled food, she loped over to see that it was abandoned, it smelt like bear but she picked it up in her mouth anyway.
Then her head shot up, she sniffed the air. She reconised a smell that she would now anywhere, but she was lost it the smell of the food, it was overpowering so she stepped away from it. She sniffed the air again, it was Tarlar. She happily picked up the carcass and ran after her trail. She finally started to catch up to her. She stood there no longer white, but blood red. Blood flowed from slashes on her body. She gasped, Tarlar, what happened to you sister!?!?
Then she droppped the carcass, for she felt a hot breath breathing heavily in and out from behind her. It was the bear she smelled on the carcass. Then, all she felt was pain, blood shooting out of her side. She screamed in pain. She fell to the ground, then she felt reallly weird but got yup again, she seemed not to feel any pain now. She turned to see the bear. She bared her long fangs and snarled making the bear hesitate for a moment. Then it turned away and she lunged for its throat. She seemed to use all her strength to bite it. Her teeth sinking deeper and deeper into the bear, Rage and adrenaline flowed through her visiously. After the bear fell to the ground she paused then let go. Her mind swirled with thoughts. Then when she began to gather what happened, she gasped and stepped back shaking. . . . . She had killed a bear, somehow she had. When the adrenaline was gone she fell to the ground with a thud. She no longer felt the odd sensasion. The pain overwhelmed her. The blood flowed all over the ground, she was laying in a pond of blood.
There were many slashes from the claws of the bear on her side, blood continued to flow until it flowed in her mouth. She caughed then yelped from the pain. She started to feel more and more then finally. . . she blacked out.

Ooc- Shadow dear, the bear is long gone since we faught it, if you read the post under it, it says it ran away not to come back. Lol, but it is fine, lets just pretend the bear ran into you in the forest once it left us okay? PM me if you are confused.
Tarlar stood next to Blitzen still as they decided whether to go along the rivers side, or pass through to it. Tarlar's tannish pelt russled in the wind as trees gentally russled againsed the force. Fernis above was gaising down happily along the two cubs, shinning sweet little crisped of suns rays as the air calmly grew slowly warmer making them growl with delight. The wound on Tarlars side slowly crisped into a scab irritating her pale, tan fur. It was hard to resist itching her wound, but the Fae didn't interfere with natures way of healing.
The wind calmly ran swiftly once again sending sweet nothings into Tarlars nose. Tarlar cocked her head to the side. She knew that scent anywhere, but was it real. Or had Fernis got her, pulling her tail, and tricking her from the tireness of the night. Oh,..... he wasn't lying, Tarlar was sure of this scent, never had she been lyed to by her nose. Shadow, it was her, she was close, and the scent was knew. Calmly the scent grew stronger tingling in the Faes nose. She heard a russle in the bushes, she looked over to see a dark shape, bloodied in red then fall onto the ground, "Shadow?! Shadow, is that you?! And-..... AND ARE YOU ARIGHT MY FRIEND!?"
She looked to Blitz in concern, "We have got to help Shadow, Blitzen!" Then Tarlar hobbled over to the young Fae as quickly as she could. "Shadow! Shadow, can you hear me!?" Talar yelled loud enough to scar a little flock of birds to suddenly and fly out into the air as if a hunter was at them. The problem was, shadow could not hear her, the young Fae was out cold, knocked out it seemed. By loss of too much blood from a bear attack. Tarlar licked the wound on her friends side"What do we do,.......Blitzen..." She looked sadly at the mann in front of her, "What should we do, what can any of us do?" She wined briskly into the night, "Shadow, please be okay." Tarlar said lowering her head as she fell asleep until Shadow would wake up.

OOC:I know i made it like that so it will go with the next one. And awesome banner you made! And if you would like the thing u said u were making ill send u a pic of my wolf, it will be virtual looking but close enough. The young cub dreamed only of pain. Pain flooded through her thoughts, she winced while she slept. She woke with a jolt her eyes wide open, then squinting then as the sun got in them. She caughed and then whimpered for her throught hurt, well everything hurt. She almost couldn't stand it, she wished she would dieor something. All she could remember from it was claws teeth and pain. Her mind swirled around with questtions. When she began to remember, she had killed the bear but that was impossible. She looked at her broken, mangled body and whined. her white paws and white around her eyes and nose where stained with blood. She opened her eyes more slowly this time and saw Tarlar asleep beside her, she nudged her sleeping body, but did not talk for she couldn't, it was to much pain. The area all around her was red which scared her. "Am I dead Tarlar?" She said not caring for the pain. "Either Wolfbane Or Tor will drag me to heaven or hell soon enough".She layed her head back down on the ground. The snow was melting but still made a loud crunch when she layed her head on it. Whos knows, she thought, maybe the bear killed us all. She sighed and closed her eyes for she felt as if she was being moved, i'm finally dead she thought. But that wasn't the case at all. She heard water running near but she didn't care at first then she thought, DID I DIE BY WATER!? NO NO NO NO NOOO I CAN'T DIE LIKE THAT! She thought. A large tear rolled down her muzzle, but she not dare open her eyes. She was to scared to see what was outside of her eye-lids. What really happened: She had run into the bear on her way and was attacked, she dragged herself after tarlar for help then fell and blacked out from the pain. She dreamt of killing the bear then awoke when Tarlar had layed beside her. She was still unresponsive to the things around and thought they were all dead. She does not remember going after Tarlar for help so it went from being attacked to killing the bear then to her laying there. It seemed like all the events continued on together in her mind Shadow now: www.nationalparkstraveler.com/files/storyphotos/Poached%20Wolf.jpg

Blitzen was about to speak when Tarlar seemed to catch a scent. Her looked at the excited Fae as she started talking of a wolf, her name was Shadow it seemed. They knew eachother before. He looked beyond the forest to see a shudder in the bushes, and oput of it came a blood-covered wolf whinning, a bear had attacked her it seemed to be. ossibly the one he and the young Fae Tarlar had chased off. The she wolf with all black but white paws and eyes fell to the ground with a light thud. Her looked to Tarlar in surprise, her eyes wide with terror. Then his new friend bounded over to Shadow. blitzen Fallowed with a sad whine for them both. Bears were a dangerous animal.
Tarlar mourned over the Fae, They must have been close friends he thought as he stood helpless over them both. Then Tarlar looked away from her delerious friend and up to him, "What do we do?" she asked. Blitzen almost jumped in his skin, he didn't know as much as her in what they could do to help her. Blitzen decided to say nothing really, he smiled and nuzzled the Fae lightly, "She will be okay, I promise, she just needs to rest like you and me." Then blitzen looked at shadow, her blood near the river.
Tarlar layed asleep next to her friend still talking to her as if she were awake. Blitzen smiled seeing Tarlar sleep, she had looked tired all this time, and how much he told her to rest, she just wouldn't. Blitzen then found a inviting spot near a birch and layed down himself, not really falling asleep, but drifting into a day dream. Also staring at the river thinking of its mysterious secrets. His eyes then slowly closed.
He awoke a few hours later, by a sudden start of presence in the air. He lifted his head in a streatch to see Shadow, the wolf her had not even known, he paw moved slightly in a twitch. And she spoke something soft though he could not hear. He slowly got up, relising the stifness of his nap and quietly walked over hopeing not to startle the Fae. "Tarlar, wake up please, Shadow is up." Tarlar stirred so he looked to Shadow, he eyes were tight shut, almost in pain, "Hello?...um- are you okay." Blitz said not sure what he could say to ease the pain he could feel rushing through her. THen he saw a tear gentaly flow down her cheek.

OOC:ok take your time im passed out remember wont make much of a difference lol
She continued in her subconcious sleep, then she hit a wall in her thoughts. Her mind was blank. She felt she pain continue again. Her eyes flew open and she gasped loudly. Then her head flew up and howled, it was so loud it shook the valley, echoing of the trees. It was an involuntary howl of pain. She choked from the pain in her throat and fell flat back on the ground. She was close to death now, she could die at any given moment. She was not complety unconcious but not knowing what was going on. She lay there, eyes closed, mouth opening as blood continued to flow
She started to breathe in gasps, making an awful noise almost painful to hear from the pain she was suffering. Even if she rested for years at a time, she would never fully recover from this. She started cringing in pain as she lay there.

Ooc- um... im lost lol sorry, I'm really tired from camping
Tarlar slept as the scare on her side ached, she dreamed of back, way back. Her old pack in southern Ukraine. Playing a a young pup, her loving mother and father, she just wanted to be back with them now, it was all she cared for. To see all her friends, happy and healthy. She could almost hear them howling as she stirred in her sleep. No,..she awoke, this is real, she openned her eyes to she blitzen staring at Shadow who was howling in pain. Loudly, Lera in the forest ran away with fright. Tarlar hopped up and started frisking herself in how to help, "Shadow, easy, take it easy, just-..." Talar thought hard, "Don't think about the pain, it will go away soon, you are gonna be okay." Tarlar looked frightend at Blitz who seemed pretty confustigated himself.
Tarlar tried to stay calm, her friend could die if they didn't do somthing! The Fae passed in circles when she suddenly took a thought and looked to blitz, "Blitzen, I need you to get some food, and quick. Me? I will find a special herb I used in my family pack long ago....It helps wounds heal and clot. Tarlar thought as she remembered thankfully by her recent dream, "Shadow, we will be right back, well... If you can even hear us being in the condition you are." Tarlar took off into the day break as the sky above them began to lower in the sky, it darkend. Talar searched to no end till finally she found what she was looking for. A bright green leif that splitts at the end, it had a red stem and was harmfull if consumed. The good it was to heal! Then she took off out of the forest and back to the river, quicker than her feet could take her. Adrenaline pumped through her body like poison, her wound opend in the long stride she took jumping and dodging any obsticals in her way.
Fianlly she made it.

Though she was in horrid pain she started to wake up. She continued her laboured breathing, as she took in breaths in as a gasp. Her vision was blurred and the sounds she her muffled barely able to understand them. She choked and caughed up blood that had gotten in her mouth. She could breathe now, so she took in a large breath hoping she did not hurt her broken ribs, or break any that had not yet been broken. . . . they probably all were. She saw Talar running to her really fast. Her wounds opened. She sat up a little but still sliding back down. She slipped from the snow and fell back do the ground, with a yelp that aslo sounded like a bark in a way. She grunted and moaned then got back up. She still could barely hear but she heard Talar talking. It sounded as if she was under water and talr was above it talking loudly. Hre vision blurred, but she could make out what she was looking at.
"Talar?" she said with a low weak voice. "Am I dead yet?". Hearing her weak voice it startled her. The pain was not as bad now but still flowing through her veins. She saw something in her jaws, she could not make it out because it was small. She started licking the large cut on her paw making it feel better quickly. She kept licking it but looked up at Talar. She caughed sending a small spay of blood over the snow. Her throat was really dry but she not dare try to drink anything. She saw her side cut open badly and whimpered. She licked it a little hoping it would make it feel better like her paw, but it just felt numb with pain. She layed her head down, she would make it, but never fully recover.

The russled on like thoughs that went too fast and rappid that you couldn't even remember what was happening at the very moment. All yyou would do is stop, stare and wait for an order and do it without hesitating to ask why. For once Talar asked him to fetch some food her quickly sprang out and into the air feeling as if he jumped across the forest itself. His toung hanged out the side of his mouth in a despriate measure to breath as from when his rib broke earlier from the previous sun pass.
The forest was dead, he could not as all scent a day old trail of a Lera, not even a bird. After a long way, he smelt old blood. he came upon where a bear must have attacked Shadow, he saw dried red blood browning into the ground. He searched the sight to find a chunk of meat that had Shadows scent on it, BLitz remembered this meat from Talar's kill. She must've found it and brought it here. Well, at least it is food! Blitz said and bounded off into the forest as Fernis hung near the moon in the sky. Blitz looked up at the sky, distracted by the sight of the most beautiful sunset. He had never really noticed one all his life, now he just relised the beauty of life. The distraction lead his paw under an up-rooted tree root, and he tripped and twisted his fore-leg and yelped in pain.
He whinperd at his twisted leg for a minite, easing the pain as he growled at his darn stupidity. I can't give up Blitz thought cussing into the night. He got up on three legs, then lightly stepped on to the hurt one. Blitzen was determined to go, he couldn't let the Fae die, or let Talar down. So BLitz went as quick as he could, only yelping a few times as he looked carfully on the trail, not to do the same thing again. Then finaly he made it, he walked up to the clearing. He heared a desperite whine from shadow, she must be awake then. He wobbled over and set the food down next to her and Talar, he could finally rest now. He layed down quickly after that growling over his leg and whining occationally, glad to know he made it and Shadow might be okay. He looked at the hurt Fae as she spat out blood. "I am Blitzen, don't worry, I am here to help."
