Talar saw Shadow slowly gain recauntiousness, though she was still badly injured and didn't know what all might have been going on. Shadow got up to lick her wounds. "Don't do that please," Talar insisted, "Just lay down, when you move it makes it harder for your wounds to heal." Then Talar smiled and layed the leif on her. Talar rubbed the leif in with her muzzle, juices came out of the thick leif, little pockets of sap that with clot the wounds. I wonder where Blitzen is Talar thought looking at the sunset when next to her a dark wolf came out of the forest and set a bloodied, familiar pice of meat. "Blitzen, thank Tor you are back, i thought something happ-" Talar stopped in her tracks. Something did happen. He layed down and snarled. He twisted his leg somhow it seemed.
"Oh, I'm sorry that has happend." Talar said looking at Blitz then to Shadow sadly, "Looks like it will be a long while bofore we cross that river to get to the greater packs eh?" Then the tiny little pack of wolves layed there for the night getting rest and chatting, maybe growling. Talar pushed the piece of meat that Blitz got for her over to Shadow telling her to eat. Talar then got up quietly and walked over to the edge of the river, peering deep into it, then finally taking a drink as the river flowed to know end, neither did it seem to have a start. All of these wonders we try not to worry about but we all are digging to know

The young wolf blinked even though the sun was low. She woke up again from her nap and yawned quietly, her wounds allready felt better but she was still on pain. Her vision starting to get better and she was ble to hear butshe was still groggy. She saw blitz limp out of the trees, and saw his leg had been hurt. He came over laying down a piece of meat. She sniffed the carcass, and gasped. She began to remember what had happened from she scent or the bear and herself. She finally understood what happened. She looked over at blitz and whimpered. She nudged his leg a little and sighed pulling her head back. Talar had the object in her jaws again, it was some sort of plant or root. Talar told her not to lick her wounds then started to rub the plant on the worst of the wounds. She yelped for it stung, "What is that thing?" he said then whined. The evening sun felt good as she lay there, Talar rubbing the plant on her. It started to feel good. The snow pretty much gone, only a light drizzle of melting snow left on the warming ground. Her black pelt glinted a little from the light of the sun before it went down to transform the day to night. She felt as if somebody had given her navocane (bad speller) so she put head head down and slept. Not only because the pain lessened, but because she was sure that she now had a familly. www.songofthewind.org/wolves_480_optimized.jpg

Eastern windes were picking up, that was a bad sign as most storms blew from the West. The wolf could feel it, a bad storm. Yet it was far away but I was heading for them. The clouds turned green and the sky darkend with moisture and little rummbles could be heard from miles away. Talar looked from the sky back to Shadow wih he plan in her mouhh, she se i down a whiles way off hen came back, "The plant you ask? Why its an old herb my pack once used, they live beyond the forest and have differnt ways of life." Talar said, her eyes glazing as she pictured them in her mind." Talar felt as if they were so close, "Don't worry Shadow, you will get better slowly as time goes, maybe a few scars but you will feel fine in about a few days...maybe more." Talar instructed trying to remember as much as she could from her pack nurse thoughs years ago.
"Though a storm is comming, it will be here by the break of dawn. I suggest we rest then early before the storm when maybe some of can walk, we will proceed to find shelter." She looked to Blitz. She felt happy, so happy to not be alone or abandon by her friends. Then Talar layed her head down painless, and the shallow song of the birds cry in the storm, and the distant pitter-patter of the rain dosed her off into sleep.
Sorry,...cant seem to get my muse up. x.X

Blitzen sat near them both, only with a few strides of distance watching Talar do what she could to keep the three of them in order. This Fae is a natural born leader. He thought watching her every move, it was amazing how she could handle all the stress while not freaking out and leaving us to die. Well Blitz thought thinking to also take a long nap as he also saw the swamp colors brewing up thunder and lightning in the distance. The cover the setting Fernis. Is Fernis angry with us? For so.. why? Then he looked over to Talar who was sound alseep from the day, peacful as Shadow was also resting. The mann twitched his leg at a fly that had landed on him, for he dearly wanted to rest to, but he was afaid if they woundn't wake up in time to get to the shelter. Where would we go? Blitz thought looking across the river to see a squirrel hiding in a hole, the comfert of a tree. He slowly drifed to sleep too forgetting to want to stay up.
A loud chrash of thunder awakend Blitz with a startle as he felt the first, cold rain drop of summer land on his nose. He twitched his nose and suddenly relised dawn was breaking and the storm was nearly over them. His twisted leg felt stiff and it still largly ached and he growled with pain getting up on his threes. He saw the other two Faes still partly asleep, "Talar, Shadow... We need to get moving." Then he looked at Shadow who still seemed badly hurt, "But-.... I am not sure she can go a long distance, but I think I saw a nearby shelter, fairly small though. An abandoned Fox hole, its okay though, I'm sure you both can fit in it. I could find a place of shelter elsewhere."
Its koay Talar...my muse is down too rofl

OOC: ok i haz ideas now The young varg felt much better the next day, and amazingly she slept well. The others were still sleeping, so she quietly started to get up. She felt fine, a little sore. Wow that root really worked dhe thought. She trotted over quietly to the now calm river and lapped up some water. She sat there in the cool dewey morning by the river until they woke. She looked at the scars on her, they were pretty much gone except for the large one on her side from were the bear hit her. She licked it and sighed, she was very greatful to have such a varg as a friend, she wished she could give the same to her. Since the river was calm with a slow water flow, she steeped in the shallow part and cleaned all the gore off herself. She felt sick as the watched how much blood flowed away from her. The splashed her face in the water and sighed. The cold water felt good to her sore joints and cuts. Instaed of sitting by the river again she sat there in the cold water, hoping they would be able to travel away from here if she felt better. She looked back at Talar and Blitz as they moved around in their sleep. She found it intresting to watch a varg sleep. She waded in the deeeper water so it would get on to her shoulders. She looked down to the bottom looking at all the small colorful pebbles. She saw one that confused her, she had never seen anything like it. She looked closer to see it was just a minow. She pawed at it underwater causing it to move. Now she saw it was an intire school of minows. She watched them excitedly , wondering what it would be like to be a fish. Talar looked to Blitzen as he woke her up saying they needed to go, the storm was indeedly coming and rain was falling fairly quicker as it just began. Talar nodded to blitz then looked around for Shadow useing her keen eye sight, Where is she? she thought not seeing her near the place where she had passed out. Then she heard a rippling splash of water, she looked to it to see Shadow all wet in the currents,"Shadow, we must get going now. Blitz said he knows a place big enought to fit us in. We can't afford to get caught in this storm, it seems to be a terrible one." Talar said looking up at the skies seeing it comming.
Then Talar nodded to the Fae and the Mann and set off, "Blitz, you know the way. So you should take the lead." Then Talar waited for Shadow to come and fallow as they slowly trotted so they wouldn't open their wounds.
The clouds roared in the distance along with small flashes of lightning covering the morning sun, their wayu was dark. The six glowing orbs in the dark had an advantage though, one man would die to have. The Ability to see in the dark.

Blitz nodded gravley to the job, his leg still was sprained, but there is nothing any wolf could do about it. He tried his best over the rough landscape to remember where he had seen the fox hole. Winds picked up and the storm was advancing. A tree fell in the distance creating a crack in the forset warning all Lera to hide from it, "be scared" the thunder rolled.
Blitzen and the other Faes, Talar and Shadow where fallowing behind, never had he lead, he was always the sikla back when he was at his home pack, but he felt proud and confident. Then under the roots of a tall pine a large tree stood, its branches curled darkly in the sunrise against the silloette. In the roots a hole was dug, fairly large enought to store only two Varg. Blitz looked over to Talar and Shadow.
"You two stay hewre in this shelter, I'll go find my own." then the Kerl nodded his fairwell to the two Faes and ran off into the night, glad that he could help. He only had to think of finding his own shelter now. At this time the storm blew right over the forest that held the varg pack. Blitz made his way back to the fallen tree from which he had heard before and saw how this leen-to could make a possible shelter. His coat was soaked but he curled up into a small ball under the fallen tree and made his resting area.
The thunder rolled above him still, lightning stiked over his head. This would be a long, long night. He thought shivering in his skin.

Talar fallowed Blitz as the storm rumbled over head and they swirved pass the trees. The patter of the rain, she remembered. A night like this, about maybe a year ago, before she left her home pack. *Drip, Drop*
"Mom, why does the sky make thoughs scary noises?" The young pup in the shelter of her parents den had said. "Because my dear, the rain and the wind wash away all the evil of the world, giving the forest life and hope." Her mother Replied.
"I don't understand mother." The young Varg cub said. "WHen you are older, you will undersyand my dear." Her mother replied. Then that night, the storm passed, the pup never forgot the sight waking up and looking at the bright forest shine through the rain drops in the sky, creating a rainbow."
Talar came back into reality again hearing a tree falling and cracking in the distance. I geuss I understand now, mother. Talar thought to herself. Then they finally reached an abandon hole, just like what Blitz had said. He was right though, it could only fit too. Talar looked at Shadow nugding her to go in and out of the pouring rain. "Blitz, be carful, I'm sorry you have to stay out. Don't worry, we will meet again in the morning." Talar smiled and gave the wolf a final fairwell.
Blitz took off, the storm became over head and she crept into the little hole with Shadow staring out again at the lightning. She was too awake to sleep, so she tried to spot Fernis rising through the storm. Please make it go away. Talar thought worrying about her friends, and remembering her family. Then she looked to Shadow, "So, did the root work fine? You look better Shadow, its a good sign from Tor."

The young fae heard talar shuffle, she looked over to see she was awake and was telling her they had to leave, She sighed ofr she liked being in the river but saw a terrible storm brewingin the sky. She looked back at the fish who were now getting on a small hole, and waded out. She turned around showing Talar she had healed most of her wounds during the night. She saw Blitz start off to the shelter he had talked about. He started as a lope, and Shadow easily followed quickly behind him. Blitz lead and Talar and Shadow trooted beside each other behing him, keeping on edge from the storm. A small tree cracked beside her, she yelped with fear and began to remember herself as a cub when her mother was alive. 'Dear Sandhya" she onced said, " A storm cleans the world, so tomorrow can be beautiful. There is nothing to fear." she whimpered quitley and follow on. Talar had a daydreamy look on her face then quickly snapped out of it. She leaned on her a little as the went along. They finnaly reached the shelter, but only big enough for two, then remembered that Blitz had a shelter elsewhere but it still made her fill uneasy. They got inside and Blitz said good-bye. She licked his muzzle once and whimpered. "Be safe", she whispered. The two words would hopefully watch over him. He bounded off not to be seen til' morning. She snuggled in and layed down next to Talar. She felt like a young cub again, when she would sleep next to her mother. She was stilll very young, and soon found her self dozing off snuggled in Talar think warm fur. She shook from the cold and whimpered like a cub would, then soon feeling as if her mother was there she fell asleep. farm4.static.flickr.com/3468/3351332759_b2cc08a6da.jpgelstudiogranados.com/images/2Wolves.jpg

A long morning had passe, Talar was layingin the hole still waiting for the storm to pass by, it was about a few long hours or so, maybe longer. But the pitter-patter of the rain finaly began to slow into a constant. Thump......thump...thump from the trees letting off the water on its leaves. Talar wigglesd out of the little tunnle excitedly. She jumped around and stretched from the long storm. She loved to see the forest shinning with delight from the water cystals shinning against Fernis the sun god.
Then she looked around seeing all of the damage that the wind and lightning caused. A few trees were down. She looked around wairly through the forest hoping to see Blitz pop out okay from the trees. Her eyes searched around keenly, but he was no where insight. He would show up soon though, she knew. Then she looked happily to Shadow saying, "Arn't you glad the rain has passed... Shadow." Well with that Talar shook her fur, off it flung tiny bits of grass, dirt, and broken bark. Most of allo the damp water from the storm.
The sun dhown very bright again, and it got hot. Their plan was to wait for Blitz then go back and try crossinf the river again since it was delayed from the storm. "Look, children, a rainbow." her mother had said. "A gift the gods give us after the storm to let us know that they still love us." Talar remembered that day like it was yesterday, the most beautiful thing she had even seen in her life. Bright colors, "Rainbow". Infact as Talar looked up to the sky high above her she could see one right then, not as bold as she saw when she was a cub. But a soft sign of hope from the gods. Talar smiled at it. "Shadow,..Lets go find Blitz." Talar said hoping for a responce, she hadn't heared her talk in a while and was feeling lonley.

Shadow had scary dreams from the storm until without noticing she had cuddled into Talar, then all she dreamt of was happiness. She was warm while she slept. Then Talar got up causing her to slide to the cold ground. She woke up and squinted her eyes and the sunlight. She stretched out her legs before she got up and pulled herself to her feet. "Aren't glad the rain has passed. . . Shadow?" Talar said. She mumbled an answer and can out of the hole. She yawned and looked out to see a beautiful rainbow. She marveled at it for she had never seen one. "Pretty", she said as she stared at it until the sun came up more causing it to dissapear. A warm breeze blew and the forest was beautiful except for the fallen trees. I wonder how I slept through that, she thought. Shadow lets go find Blit she said, and started off towards where he had gone. She was at a trot but her wounds were pretty much healed so she loped off in front excitedly. She looked back to see if she was following. Something caught her feet and she fell into the long wet grass. She grunted unhappy that Talar had seen that, because it was embarrasing. She got up and spit out grass from her mouth being open when she fell. She ontinued at the same speed but she was carefull where she went. She soon picked up Blitz smel and shouted excitedly, "Come on, Talar!" She sped up a little, her wounds feeling fine and followed the scent quickly. She was a great tracker and didn't stray from the trail once. Talar happily smiled and went off to Blitz with Shadow, Shadow ran ahead and suprisingly she stumbled in the grass, Talar tried not to giggle and asked her, "Are you all right?" Talar said, but then she noticed she wasn't too happy about it and Talar nuzzled her, helping her get up while keeping a strait face. Talar knew which way Blitz had gone, only problem was she didn't know where of if he turned and what not. Talar took a final gazed around with her eyes while her and Shadow despriatly looked around. Talar sat on her haunches and let out a loud, short "Where are you?" call.
Talar looked around not hearing a responce. She snorted and waited about a minute, "Shadow," Talar began looking up at a small finch chirping on a branch, "What has ever happend to your family, you have never told me. If you dont mind me asking I mean." Talar said thinking about her own poor family, she hadn't talked about for ages since she left them.
She looked up to the sky and let out another howl to BLitz, it shocked the air and the little chirping finch flew away across Fernis that was now visible in the sky. She heard a russle behind them, was it Blitz?

The cold wet ground soaked into the Vargs fur over the storm, he was thankful that it was gone. Blitz didn't feel like moving otherwise though, so he just stayed in his place, under the tree. Birds chirped signaling that the storm was gone, but the earth underneath was still wet, soaked. He took a big yawn and finally stood up streatching is back leags to the front. The scent of his trail was gone, along with all the others, Blitz barley knew where he was.
He looked around and up to see a faded rainbow, and Fernis behind it glowing bright and drying his dirty fur. Blitz tried shaking it off, but he would wait till he reached the river once again. He suddenly heard on how saying, Where are you? It was talar, he reconized the sound in the Vargs voice. Blitzen was about to respond when his voice felt horse, it hurt, he quietly barked a bit to get his voice back, then he heard another howl from Talar. He howled back, Im coming. It tried to say, but he ran as he did so, fallowing the sound of Talars loud howls.
He came to a place in where he thought the den was, He saw the den empty. The mustve moved, he thought so he just walked on smelling their path. THen he saw them, about a tree away. He jumped through the bushes and barked happily to see the Faes. "Finally,.. I found you!" he said wagging his tail with delight at Shadow and Talar.

ooc: thanks and its a REALLY long story so sit tight lol. Shadow got up with Talar's help and heard her holding in a laugh. "Go ahead and let it out", she said sarcasticly. "What happened to your family?"Talar said. The thought made her alomst get sick at first but she desided she might as well tell her. "The story. . . is not . . . . pleasent." "When I was really young , not even aloud to be out of sight by my parents they were kiled. Heres the story." "We were outside of our den enjoying the beautiful warn day. My mother and father loved me more than anything, they would do anything to make me happy. For they loved seeing me smile. This was back when my name was Sandhya. They were letting me jump all over them like I was attacking them." She smiled at the though of that. " We were just having a great time, then there faces went serious. My mother and father still alert and serious said lets play hide and seek. They picked me up by my neck and sat me in a bush. And said 'This is a new game ok? You have to stay quit no matter what.' I didn't understand but I kept quit with the smile on my face that they loved. I heard the sound of footsteps but kept quit as they told me. I heard them talking and then another voice i did not reconise. Then. . ." she looked down sadly.". . . I heard a scream of pain and fear. I peekedd out to see that my parents were being bruttally killed by a huge pack of draggas. The worst part was" Tears now coming to her eyes. " I had to her every scream of pain, from every bite they had to take so I could live. While I was in the bushes, i faught back the erge to run up to the draggas and try to kill them, But i was young and not ready to die. The draggs left and I stayed in the bush for about an hour, then I came out to see them dead. There blood everywhere on the bright grass. I cried for a long time, and curled up in a small ball next to them. I've been on my own evre since, somehow able to survive alone. Silent tears rollod down her face. www.keweenawnow.com/news/wolf_research_03_04/images/irwolf_family.jpgshinysunscrossstitching.com/Ebay/WolfFamilyHeatherSchumacher.jpgtbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:_BrhkxxAhxSH3M:http://s.bebo.com/app-image/7930030970/5411656627/PROFILE/i.quizzaz.com/img/q/u/08/07/30/wolf_the_wolf.jpg

"Balkar...." Talar said looking down sadly next to Shadow, there were no Balkar where she had lived, but they was a rival pack, their name was The Reven. They stayed far from her pack though, most of the time. "I'm sorry that has happend to you, I know how it is to loose a family you cherrish deeply." Talar said quietly. Then she heard the russle in the bushes, she turned around to see BLitzen right there, smilling and wagging his tail. HE was filthy from the storm, "What? Did you sleep under a log?" Talar said sarcasticaly jumping at the Mann.
"We've been calling you all this time! Its about itme we cross that river to the north!" Talar said looking at the twovarg trying to cheer them up. She noticed it didnt work too well. Then without a thought, the broken down, worn out pack of little cubs took off through the for the river, their toungs lawling out of their mouth as they swirved throught the forest once more and reached back to their starting spot. The river flowed swiftly and the center was a strong current to pull away any varg without mercy.
Talar smelt the rush as the rain from the morning gave the river even more, harder, faster, stronger life. It became more dangurous. "Should we look for another way, or cross here?" Talar asked looking fearfull, thinking of drownding by water.
