The sun beams began to sparkle through the bare tree tops deep within the Deorian forest, landing softly on the small muzzle of one of the packs newest and youngest members. His eyes begin to flutter open revealing his bright emerald hues with the slightest crescent of gold; letting out a soft puppy grunt as he rolls to his side and then his back a large yawn comes across his maw. As his surroundings finally come into focus, he notices that not another is yet stirring in his family and mischievous grin is now placed on his maw as he rolls to his feet sneaking out the warm and safe den to the unknowing outdoors. Cullen is almost the spitting image of his father, Deor's Black Knight with a few trace markings from Deor's Drappa and his mother. He also has seemed to take after his father in more than one way as he disappears behind the den looking for what adventure he can find.
This birds were just starting to return to Transylvania, and the snow was almost completely gone now which meant it was easier for this little cub to now move around and venture a little further, yet not too far, he would never admit it, but it was still just a little too scary out in the shadows of the dark forest. Up above he heard the loud morning call of the returning birds, his small eyes squinted as his only way to be able to glare this early in life, and a tiny yip what was supposed to be a growl escaped his maw, "Quiet you flying thing, you'll wake the others." This was his time to be able to explore all alone and not have to worry about his mother and father telling him not to do this and that and the time where he didn't have to worry about protecting his brothers and sisters, this was his time to prove himself and train to be like his father, a noble knight.
During the day the ground was moist from the melting snow, but at night it still plummeted down to freeze the grounds, as he explored alone his paw landed in a small indent in the frozen ground. When he looked down he had a look of amazement come across his face, the paw print of his father had been frozen overnight, and his tiny paw didn't even begin to fill the empty void. "Wow, I have so much growing and learning to do if I'm gonna ever be as great as my dad!" For some reason this hit him just right and he began to laugh and was unable to stop, he fell to the ground rolling around. After his little laughing attack he took some deep breaths to try to calm down, as quickly as it appeared the laugh was gone, his eyes darted around looking for who might have seen him acting like some cub, for he was no cub, but a knight in training.
