Fenris was unforgiving this day. The sun scorched the land in its heat, not a cloud in sight. Sucking up all the moisture in the air, ground and the grass. The ground was hard and cracked. The once lush green grass was now a dead yellow. Tor was probabley unable to persuade Fenris from unleashing his wrath to the Vargs below. Who would want to venture out into the open and into the heat one would ask. Who knows and who would.
Her pink tongue lolled out of her maw. Taking deep breaths of air only made Shadow thirsty and her mouth dry. Ignoring the blistering heat she continued to walk. Yay! Once I get to the lake I'll be able to swim and play and sleep and play and eat berries and play and....?Shadow stopped short. And what? She cocked her head and wondered.And....and play with friends! She laughed and continued her stroll.
Walking on the banks of the river, Shadow's paws were soothed by the cool water. Thank Tor for making Fenris not dry up the river. She smiled and laughed as she imagined a beautifaul fae arguing with a powerful mann. Then, she heard it. The sound she was dying to hear. The sound of a roaring waterfall.
Bounding across the land in a blur of black fur, Shadow's heart soared with joy. The nearer she got the closer and louder the roar got. Step by step, her paws felt the dry land become moist. Finally, she was here. Shadow was at the waterfall.
Standing on a rock, Shadow's eyes widened with excitement. The waterfall was what she had remembered it to be. Water splashed along the edges of the lake. The waterfall and lake were surrounded by trees and overhanging cliffs, casting a shadow over the lake. Gathering her muscles she sprang into the lake.
SPLASH! Water sprayed in all directions as Shadow jumped in. Her head popped out of the water. Shadow felt cool and refreshed after the sudden plunge. Stepping out of the lake, she shook her fur dry. Climbing up onto the rock she had jumpped off of, she curled up.
It's just like what it was when Mother was here.Shadow stared into the rippling waters. The gentle lull of the water began to sound like her mother.
'I'll always be with you, my little Star' Her mother had always said. Shadow and her mother would come here everday to play in the summer. Playing in the shallows of the water and helping her mother collect herbs. Shadow's ears drooped. But, Mother. You're not with me anymore. You're up there with Tor and Fenris. And I'm down here all alone. She thought as she stared into her reflection.
Shadow stared at her white diamond marking. That's how she got her name before she changed it. Midnight StarWas what her parents named her, For her diamond marking looked like a star far away and with her jet black fur. From that day on her father and mother called her THIER Little Star. But, now I'm no one's Little Star.
Shadow growled and then began to whimper. Why'd you leave Mother,Father? Why'd you leave me behind? She whimpered yet again. Since THAT DAY, Midnight Star was known as Shadowwolf. For she was a wolf with her past that followed her like a shadow. And a wolf that was a shadow. She was there ,but never noticed.
Shadow's eyes drooped and finally she could bare it no longer. Her eyelids began to close. No matter how much she fought, sleep overcame her.

Ryku padded thoughout the heated vally and wondered if she would meet someone new today. her eyes glowed and her ebony pelt felt like it was on fire as she saw a cub walk along and lay down by the lake. She padded over to her and got into the water for a swim. "Ah, that feels nice." she said but queit enought not to wake the cub that feel asleep. The cub looked like it cried herself to sleep.
She nugded the cub a little and then licked her face to wipe her tears away. The dimond on her nose made Ryku remeber her. She was the one she meant in the meadow. She was wondering where she went. Her face filled with tears seeing the cub cry. "Why was she crying? Why am i crying?" she asked herself.
The golden orbs were filled with water of sadness for her and she had seen this before. She walked over to the waterfall and a fish fell beack into her mouth. The silver scales shinned in the light of Fenris. Her muscular body was also gentle. She chrunched the bones and her mouth closed. She spat the tail out and padded the the middle of the lake and took a risk that no Varg she knew ever took. She went under water.
She ame back up gasping for breath and she had silver scales in her mouth again. She lay the salmon by the cub and nugded her again. "Wake up little one. I brought you some food." she said in a warm kind voice. Her eyes glimmed and her jaws gently nipped her ear careful not to hurt her. "Come on wake up." she said again in a kind gentle voice. Her heart was filled with happyness that she found Shadow again.
The heat ws beating down on her liken a gun shooting through her body. She shook off the wet droplets hangging from her fur and she was careful not to get the cub wet. She waited for the cub to wake and laid down by her. She felt like a nurse or a mother, but she wanted to make sure she was ok before she left. She nugded her one more time hoping she wuld get up. "Come on wake up Shadow." she said again.

//OOC: Sorry it took so long to post. This is Alice, by the way. //
The day was hot and bright; the furious heat of Fenris struck the ground and grass with piercing light. It was horrible, this day, because of all the vicious heat. It caused her ebony fur to feel sticky and uncomfortable against her skin. Delilah, the ebony fae, would have glared up at Fenris' eye and demand that he show some respect for the creatures below, but his light was far too bright for her to gaze upon. Which was probably what he wanted, so that no one would accuse him for his cruelty. Head held low so that no passers could see, her blackened lips curled back over her teeth. Why wasn't Tor showing her forgiveness? So much for the precious gods. They were nothing but silly stories for pups. And she wasn't a pup, not anymore.
In fact, she was around a year old. New to live, perhaps, but still old enough to understand such things. Most of her life she had spend with her family, Mist and Chayton (her parents) and her brothers and sisters. Out of her siblings she was closest to the ivory wolf named Ryu, whose coat had transformed into a beige as he grew. Delilah's however, had stayed it's dull black, another cause for the heat that she felt. But her life in Deor wasn't perfect. She'd had her days, like every pup did, when she would venture too far from home and wind up somewhere unknown. Like the time she'd met Nio. Now, though, she wasn't lost. The fae had learned to understand and memorize the lands of the kerls, so now she knew her way around.
Smiling now as she thought of the land of the kerl, she bounced into a run, racing herself to the waterfall and the lake. Time and time again, she had visited this place and time and time again she had love it. It was her favorite place, a safe harbor perhaps. The scent of others here caused her legs to lock with shock and she skidded to a halt near the edge of the lake. So much for her safe harbor, her place of quiet. As she sat there, she watched. Icy orbs spotted an ebony fae flung into the water, going under. Delilah's head cocked to the side. Where were they doing? Hadn't they been taught to fear death by water? She studied the fae for a moment, as her head resurfaced above the water, but her eyes drifted to the sleeping figure. It was ebony, like the other (like herself), with ivory markings on her paws and above her nose.
Her head titled to the side as she watched them. Yes, the day was hot, but why were they in the water? To cool off no doubt. After a long moment (long enough for the all ebony one to reach the other's side), she said, loud enough for both of them to hear, though one was asleep, "What are two doing?"

Warm, luscious breeze blew at an hot, panting ebony wolf as she padded on the dead grass. The day was steaming hot, and it felt like she would die. But I haven't killed in such a long time! called the voice nagging in her mind. She knew that she had to hold on a bit longer, then take the kill of another wolf, but she didn't know how long that she could take the intense heat. The ebon fae opened her maw for any sounds of her kill, and heard such nice voices. The fae smiled at the thought of the kill, the delicious taste of wolf blood. The blackened cannibal swept her gaze the the lake and saw a black wolf with a white diamond on her nose plunge into the swirling pit of water. The black female smiled a toothy grin, her sins sweeping to her once more as she hid in a bush. She knew that the nice wolves (her dinner) would smell her, but she didn't care. She wanted herself to be seen, so that it would look as if she was their kind; not the kind of cannibals, not the evil. The fae poked her head out of the berry bush and saw yet two more females to eat. They won't even know what's about to get them! the scared fae thought, as she jumped out of her hiding place. The fae sat calmly down, making sure that saliva wouldn't drip out of her black maw, then barked to the three, "Why hello, my beloved." She smiled evilly at the ebony females. She couldn't help but to lick her ebony lips.
The fae blinked her blood-red lanterns and spotted one of the black wolves were sleeping. She hadn't spotted it before. That just makes the kill even easier! She was about to leap, but the another great thought hit her, Maybe I can teach these puny, nice wolves how to be evil, like myself! She looked at one black wolf in particular. The ebony wolf looked like she had suffered a lot lately. The black fae with a red underbelly barked to the other black female with a white belly, "Aw, it looks like you suffered a lot lately, young pup." She came over to sit down next to the other fae with a different colored underbelly. "What happened. Do you want my advice? Come on, youngster, tell me that you need my advice." Her red eyes burned. She was tempted to draw her maw over the ones throat, but didn't dare. I can teach them to be evil and join Sarnes . . . she reminded herself thoughtfully. The fae looked at the Underbelly Wolf, then hissed, "Tell me, youngster, tell me your secrets, your sins, your past, and what happened to you recently. Apocalypse can tell that you have been suffering. Oh, and one more thing . . ." She drew her scared muzzle to the Underbelly Wolf, then barked, "It looks as if you have attracted a mean wolf to come and eat you up!" The blackened female chuckled, then the chuckle soon turned into a smile, the smile turned to an evil grin, then the evil grin turned into a sin.
"I'm gonna clean up your looks with all the lies in the books to make a citizen out of you . . ." came the evil voice from the wolf.

OoC|Hey, Apocalypse, I just thought I'd let you know before the admins did; you're not supposed to post in red, seeing as it's Wolfbane, an admin's colour. It's simply to avoid confusion. Lighten or darken it a bit, maybe? Also, sorry it took so long guys.
Like the rest of her generation, Della had yet to become accustomed to the extreme weathers that came with the changes in season. She had been dallying along pleasantly in the comfortable, breezy arms of spring, and the reasonable temperatures and light rains were things she had slowly begun to take for granted. However, now that this relentless and painful heat ruled the lands, the pup wanted nothing more than the lively breathes of spring.
The pup had spent long hours trying to call back the season; closing her eyes and pointing her head towards the heavens to take a shot at reasoning with the gods. She created crazy chants and danced around berry bushes, but all her work succeeded in nothing but heating her up more.
And it were times like this where it wasn’t blasphemous to see a wolf splashing around in the water they knew could carry their soul away into an infinite nothingness. The instant relief from the fiery tempers of Fenris was so gratifying and wondrous, the chance could easily be seen as worth taking. Della, having yet to even learn about this terrifying tale in their religion, had spent most of her summertime soaking her coat and batting around tadpoles and minnows.
The walk to the lake was one she knew well by now. This had to be the third or fourth time she had traveled it without Alice. Bounding along, she improvised a song she could hum to keep her mind off the way the heat collected in her fur, making her deep reds and browns look healthy. It was unfortunate that a cub’s pelt began to transition from light fuzz to a healthy, gleaming coat smack in the middle of summer, but Della was able to keep her head in the clouds long enough to not let it bother her as much.
She was growing fast, now. She had at least doubled in size since she had met Alice, and her eyes were long done with their gradation from a pup’s blues to Della’s own unique and dancing emerald greens. Her ears were large and fox-like, and her maw was beginning to lengthen and hone itself to a point; beginning to shape her into the recognizable sleek form of a red wolf. However, her mentality was growing up much slower, and Della still had nothing on her mind except learning and playing.
Finally reaching the lake, she giggled exictley at seeing her new friend, Shadow, there, along with a pack of other wolves, all varying in size. She barked out at them happily, announcing her presence in a most childish and unintelligent way, before jobbing up to begin a round of introductions. However, there was a strange breath of mystery in the air…
And it was radiating from a rather sinister looking dark wolf who was speaking gibberish to his crowd. Cocking her head in bewilderment, Della walked up behind the stranger and barked out a slightly commanding question.
“Hey, mister? What’re you going on about?”

ooc: S'okay Della you've been pretty busy anyway. And to lessen the confusion the first few paragraphs are Shadow's dream.
Mist and fog circled the land. Every tree, bush, and hill was blurry and unclear. The sky was covered in gray clouds; the world was in darkness. White paws walked on the rocky ground. Blue eyes filled with fear. Ears, nose, and eyes strained to figure where they were. Shadow's uneven breathing was a drum; beating faster and faster. Fear shot through her, in front of her was a towering cave.
Stone teeth grew from the ceiling and darkness lived in it. Stepping into the cave, Shadow's paws were soaked. Looking down at her paws, Shadow shook. Her pure white fur was drenched in blood. Suddenly, heavy footsteps echoed in the cave. THUMP...THUMP....RRRROOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR! There coming out of the darkness was a full grown bear. It's muzzle and paws were stained in blood. Some fresh others old. Shadow knew more than any Varg that it was her parents blood. Stepping back slowly then turning back into a full run. The bear roared with delight at the sight of a chase. Easily lopping behind her. The ground was not there before her, but a lake of blood. Shadow measured her chances and jumped in. Paws struggled to swim through the thick red sea. The bear behind her stood on the bank. As though it was waiting for her to come back. Something latched onto her hind paws, and pulled her under. The last thing she saw was red.
Shadow jerked up, paws scrambling at the ground. Her breath was ragged and uneven. Something bad is here. I don't have this type of dreams unless something is out to kill me. Looking around in her fearfully wide eyes, Shadow saw more Vargs around the lake. A black wolf with a red underbelly lay next to her. Ryku's here...I'm safe for now. Shadow head butted Ryku playfully in the shoulder. Sniffing the air around here, Shadow scented two Vargs she didn't know and the sweet scent of Della. Evening her breath, Shadow looked around. A black she wolf with a white underbelly was coming toward them. Her presence eased the tension in her body. Near the edge of the lake was a red pup; Della. Shadow grinned at her friend when Della gave a joyful bark at her. Tail thumped the ground, Shadow looked back at the area near her. A large fish was laying next to her."Salmon!"Shadow yelled with delight. She lowered her head, just about to take a bite, when a flash of red caught her eye.
Right there next to Ryku was a black red eyed Fae.Shadow knew better than to growl at Vargs she hasn't met yet, but this particular Varg just hit her evil Varg meter way off the charts. "GGRRRRRR! Ryku move, that Varg behind you is very very bad. Bad, bad, bad,BAD!Shadow growled. Her body went into a crouch. Tail high in the air and teeth was bared.

The air was filled with other scents of Varg and a sound was made soon after she broght the fish up to shore. "What are they doing?" the voice seemed to say to her. She looked up from the sleeping pup and over to the rocks where she saw yet another Varg. She let out a greeting bark, tail wagging happily. She smiled when she saw a wolf with red eyes it seem come up and start to talk weirdly. She looke over to the fae and asked "What are you talking about?!" It hit her. This wolf was[glow=red,2,300] "EVIL!" [/glow]Just like Ayame. Her lips curled and she let out a warning growl at the fae. Just then Shadow woke up and another Varg came. She smiled again and barked happily that her name was Ryku. She turned back to the other new Varg and then Shadow talked to her. "Yeah i get it Shadow. This one looks worse then Ayame or Haox and Neo." she said in a low tone of voice.
OOC:Sooooooo sorry for how short this one is. I lost my muse at the beging. Once again sooo sorry.

//OOC: Sorry it took me so long. //
Icy blue orbs watched with disapproval as the little "party" of wolves gathered in her safe harbor, the waterfall and the lake at surrounded it. Crowds were never a good thing, not this kind certainly and certainly not here in her little place. Pelts of vivid ebony mingled together in her eyes; one red and black, one pure black, one black and ivory like her own. The red-brown coat of the newest member stood out like a sore thumb mixed with all the dark. Delilah's blackened lips curled back over her glistening teeth and she slid further back, way from the sudden crowd. Unease and apprehension bit at her belly as she watched them, eyes flickering from side to side. She wasn't liking the bittersweet taste in the air, nor the sense that she was getting from the red-black varg. Half of her wanted very badly to run, to leave, but her muscles froze in place as the red and black one began speaking to her.
Shivers of nervousness coursed though her body, trembling down her legs and ivory tipped tassel. She shouldn't have been acting this way, trembling in terror of another varg, even one who possessed such a malicious aroma. The faemme knew she should hold her own against such a creature, so the stronger wouldn't pick on her-- the weakest. But the words this character, this "Apocalypse" (an apocalypse indeed) muttered was nothing but nonsense. Useless words that were both lies and inaccurate at the same time. They meant nothing to Delilah, for in truth, she was not suffering. "What are you talking about?" she hissed through clinched teeth, ebony ears pinned back against her skull. "I'm not suffering. Where did you get that crazy notion?"
When she'd finished speaking, Delilah's eyes swept over the little party; watching the red-brown one, the ivory and black, the all black... and then finally shifting back to the worst on of all. A sigh of disappointment passed through her teeth. So much for her quiet place, a place to be alone. The one named Apocalypse blabbed something in gibberish, but Delilah didn't pay attention to her words. Her eyes (which were now lifted from her head) were trained toward the ivory-black one as she conversed with the all black one. Something about a bad wolf... something about being worse then Ayame, or Hoax and Neo.... Trembles sped down Delilah's spine as she eyed the red-black one out of the corner of her eye. Yes, this was one bad wolf all right.
Not wanting to be rude, and since no one had answered the red-brown wolf''s question, Delilah opened her maw and said, "Nothing is going on really. Nothing now anyway," she corrected. "It just so happens that we all decided to visit this place at the same time. Sadly. Maybe some of us ought to be leaving." Cold eyes focused on Apocalypse again and Delilah hoped that she would get the hint.

(Della, Wolfbane's color is CC0000, and mine is Red. And there are other people using red, too. Apocalypse and a female, not a male, just to let you know. ) Red lanterns glanced at the fearful wolves, fear scent erupting from their hides. A sly grin appeared on the ebon maw, the lanterns of the wolf watched with pure hatred at the wolves, and a hateful spit came from her maw after the Underbelly wolf barked to them, "Well, it sure looks like you are suffering, you she-wolf, you." A split growl came from her maw. She looked at the younger pups, glancing at the ebony wolf waking up the blackened and ivory female. "Don't waste your breath, you wolf!" An evil chuckle bubbled through her maw. Her blood red lanterns stared hard at the wolf that woke up the other wolf. "Don't waste you breath!" she repeated to all the wolves, swinging her head from side to side, looking at all the wolves around her. Snorting, she heard the Underbelly Wolf bark something that peeved Apocalypse off so much that she wanted to scream to all of the around her.
But she didn't.
She turned to the Underbelly Wolf, looking at her with cold blood red lanterns. Licking soft lips, the blackened female growled in a mimicy and a baby voice, "Maybe someone should go... Well maybe you should go, Underbelly Wolf! Maybe you need to go home, back to your pack, where you belong! I wouldn't be living in a pack! Packs just need your help, or so they say, then toss you out like yesterdays breakfast! I can smell pack on you, pup, trust me, and it ain't a mean one!" She snuffled her nose into the wolf's fur. "I smell siblings, too. This nose doesn't lie to me! I have a great nose, pup, so watch out! I could track you down, Underbelly Wolf! Easily!" A growl escaped her throat. She looked at the female wolf with a white underbelly, wondering what she would say to Apocalypse's theory. Not like she cared or anything, but she wanted to teach the young to switch their packs, to the evil ones! She mimicked once more, "Maybe all of you nice wolves need to go!" Lips curled into a baby-like fashion, the ebony female mocked the underbelly wolf, "Maybe you absolutely need to go back to your pack!" She swung her head to the other wolf pups around her, spitting and growling at them. She stopped, then barked, "No need to be afraid, pups." She turned back to the Underbelly wolf, then scooted closer to her, murmuring, "It's okay, she-wolf. Nothing's gonna eat ya. Or maybe I will." A chuckle escaped her throat, glancing at every wolf with eyes pure of hungriness and hatred.

OoC|Aaah, Alright! Sorry for the miscommunication. Just thought I'd warn ya before the admins pinned you. Also, sorry this post is kind of crappy. It's late and I'm kind of uninspired. As Della watched the scene with a sense of disbelief, she realized that it was very possible that all of them could be in danger, and she probably hadn’t chosen the right words to introduce herself to the circumstance. The red-black wolf appeared to be loony, and continued to spit out what seemed to be mostly gibberish. However, the pup could pick out the insane threats and cannibalistic murmurings. The thought of a proud and loyal Varg turning on their brother for something as simple as food stirred a disturbing sickness in her, and her eyes caught on a twinkle of pitying sadness. Della only lent half an ear to the ‘Underbelly Wolf’s answer, for she had learned quickly that the stranger possessed a non-chalante(sp) and sarcastic attitude that could only make this situation harder to deal with. The cub felt a mix of fear and anger bubble up inside of her, mingling together in a confusing and dangerous mix of chemistry. Her face contorted into a snarl, and, barely able to control herself, Della stepped forward and held her tail high in the air, challenging the dominating status of Apocalypse. “Good, because we’re not afraid of you.” She dug her claws into the ground and bore into the wolf who claimed himself to be evil with strong eyes and a stern face, even if she was afraid of what would happen next. The youngster hoped that Shadow, and the other wolves around her would face the threat that Apocalypse created, and take their stand along with her. A battle would be nothing if he was forced to clash against a group.
She looked quickly around her, sending up a silent prayer to Tor, asking for the cooperation and strength to get her through another, what should have been innocent, adventure. Taking a deep breath, the pup blew out her fear and turned her attention back to the crimson-stained mann once more, piercing him with more brave words.
“You’re not gunna hurt any of us, you’re not! For all of us who have packs, they’re a amazing thing, and I bet that if you had one you wouldn’t want to hurt us no more. You just want a family like me! You want a mama and a brother, and maybe even a papa, but I don’t even have that. You’re no ‘evil threat’ to us, Mister Apocalypse! Why…You’re just a no good bully!”
She huffed and scoffed, fluffing up her fur as she became angrier and more sure of herself.

ooc: Sorry if it sucks...kinda have no muse. Um, This happened b4 Shadow joined Koran.
The once peaceful and joyful atmosphere was shattered by the presence of a hostile and evil Varg. Now the aurora around the lake was covered in a cloud of hostility, distrust, and unease. Just entering the fog was enough for any Varg's fur to stand on the edge and send fearful shivers down their spine. As the day dragged on, the more and more hostile the place seemed to get.
Shadow's tail and fur were standing high in the air. Her eyes were locked onto the shape of the Red wolf. Shadow's growls were drowned out bu the roar of the waterfall. I hope we all make it out of here OK. Shadow thought, gulping down her fear. White paws gathered their courage and took a few steps toward the Red Underbelly wolf. Her growls could've been able to be heard by now. Shadow watched as the red and black wolf bark at the Underbelly wolf.
Shadow's mouth hung open, ready to defend the Underbelly Wolf, but was soon silenced at what the Red wolf said. "Maybe you need to go home, back to your pack, where you belong! I wouldn't be living in a pack! Packs just need your help, or so they say, then toss you out like yesterdays breakfast!" Shadow froze at what she had said, her eyes going blank and lifeless. Is it true what she had said? Do packs just use you and toss you away after using you? No one came to look for me when Mother and Father died. No one from the pack. Is it true? Shadow kept asking herself. Looking up Shadow stared at the Red wolf. Waiting for her to talk about being in a pack.
Suddenly, a voice spoke above the rush of the water. The voice of Shadow's friend, Della of Koran. For all of us who have packs, they're a amazing thing, and I bet that if you had one you wouldn't want to hurt us no more. Della cried out. Shadow shook her head furiously. Why am I believing that stranger!?!? Della's in a pack and she says it's great being in one. Why should I listen to what that Evil red wolf say!?!? Shadow thought, stopping her shaking. Shadow listened at the wise words that Della spoke, letting it etch itself into her mind. Shadow was now back to her old self. Confident in her words and herself.
"Yeah! Who are you to judge what it's like in a pack if you've never been in one?!?! Della's right your just a big bully!" Shadow barked at the Red wolf. Spreading her paws apart into a fighting stance. "If you so much as touch a single hair on our pelts, we'd all rip and tear you to shreds! So go away and leave us alone!" Shadow yelled. Her teeth bared at the Red wolf as she quickly ran toward Della. Brushing her tail on her friend's flank as she settled right next to her. Shadow crouched, ready to spring at the enemy.

//OoC: sorry it took me so long i been caught in school work//
Fenris's heat was locking on her for her black pelt was well black. Her golden bangles were heating up as well. Shadow and Della were getting really angry and so was Ryku; some where inside her was starting to explode. All her anger going towards this she-wolf who had threatened Shadow and the rest of them. Her golden hues sparkled as the lake did and she was getting really annyoed by this Varg. Her eyes closed in annoyence and an annoyed smile creepet upon her maw. Her white daggers in side her mouth showing. She had had enough of this. She stood up her claws digging into the cracking ground. She listened to what Della and Shadow had to say and her soft lanternes became inflamed. Both of their words spoken sunk into her head and stayed there. "Ok i have had enough of you red bellied wolf! If you didn't know his being in a pack is a very nice thing! They don't use you then throw you a side! You know Della and Shadow are right. You are a big bully and to pick on cubs that just makes you a Skila." she shouted baring her teeth at the Varg.
Her eyes still blaring and her low warning growls coming from her maw still as angry as ever. Her fur sticking high up in the air. "You touch one hair on any of their heads and you might not live to see day light again." she growled in a way she was protecting the cubs like she was their mother. She had always felt that way when she was with cubs. Her tail wipped the ground in anger and she sat on her hunches next to Shadow ready to strike if this wolf had made a bad choice. Her low growls come from her throat were warning signals to this rude she-Varg. Her whole body in flams sinking into her like fangs of another wolf.

//OOC: Really sorry for the really long wait. I have permission from Apocalypse (my sister) to move her character since she deleted her account. And Ryku hasn’t logged in since September 18, so I don’t know if we should go on without her or not. Della's turn now. ^^ //
Delilah wasn’t entirely sure what frightened her most—the fact that Apocalypse wouldn’t leave, the fact that she reminded Delilah of the creatures in her dreams, or the notion that she was exactly like her. Whatever the reason though, this wolf surely did scare Delilah down to her bones. And it wasn’t just because Apocalypse was cruel and rude to pups; no, it was because Apocalypse seemed to carry some dark essence inside her body that was different from most malevolent wolves. She was afraid of Apocalypse, although she would never let the life-sucking female know that. For all she knew, that was what this creature wanted and feed upon, like the bloodsuckers in her dreams only with life instead of blood. Trembles raced down her spine at the thought and settled in her belly as fear, quivering her tail. But she held brave, like the red females and the black ones.
Her tail swerved to and fro behind her as she feed the anger brewing in her belly like a fire, burning and painful. She let her lips pull back over her teeth as she growled in Apocalypse’s direction. Head held high and looking directly into the crazy she-wolf’s evil red eyes, Delilah snapped in a threatening tone, "What they say is the truth! Packs are great; Deor is great! I have a whole family there that loves me and takes care of me. You wouldn’t know, you lonely wolf you! I bet you’ve never even had a pack. Packs protect you and keep you safe from harm and from the life of a Kerl. I bet that’s all you want." Even as she said it, she didn’t really believe herself, didn’t believe her own words.
Suppressing a slow and exasperated sigh, Delilah reigned in her fiery anger and said in a low voice, "Just go. We want nothing to do with you and nothing to do with your kind." Did that cross out her too then? She pushed back a shiver. No, she promised herself, I’m not bad like this wolf. With that, she turned her back to the red and black she-wolf and stalked to the others sides. Once there, she whipped around to face the wolf she’d spoken to before. Apocalypse’s face was full of shock… and fury. With a rippling snarl, she thundered, "Fools!" and raced away.
Good. So much for her.
When the Evil One was out of sight, Delilah let her muscles relax and the fur along her spine settle. The atmosphere around the lake was cleaner, now that the creature tainting it was gone. In her whole life-time (though it was surely not that long), she had never met anyone like that she-wolf and Delilah hoped she never would again. Moving her paws a bit, she turned herself so that she was facing the other. Grinning with pleasure that the evil was gone, Delilah said in a sour and excited voice, "Good riddance. I’m sure glad she’s gone.” The smile that came so easily stayed on her maw as she said with a little head-bow, "Daughter of the great Mist and the brave Chayton, pup and nurse in-training of Deor.” She lifted her head with a pause then continued, “The name’s Delilah by the way.”

OoC|And the thread is revived! Haha! I'll message Ryku and see if she still wants to be in this thread. It's Shadow's turn next, so it'll give her a bit of time to reply.
Also, Delilah and I thought we'd finish this thread off with a game of hide and seek between the pups. Does this sound like a good idea? It could definitely bring them all closer together.
Della let a fresh growl erupt from her throat, forced out as a proud anger boiled in her stomach and shook her nerves. Her claws scraped at the ground, digging small trenches beneath her paws as she shifted her weight around almost nervously, readying herself for what could become a fight. It hadn’t been often that the cub stood her own ground; she valued her life too much to let pride or a stubborn attitude cloud her vision. But Della also knew when the odds were on her side; and with a group riled up against this single, red-bellied stranger, there was no way they wouldn’t win.
However, before she could open her mouth to bark out another lecture, one of the two black wolves stepped up and laid out a terrifyingly dominant mouthful on the beast facing them. She had a stature Della wasn’t used to; or at lest, used to in wolves that portrayed themselves as on her side. The female had been around as long as she had, but Della hadn’t taken enough notice to realized she carried herself like most animals she associated with fear, and had a confused, almost malicious aura about her. She shook her head heartily and decided not to take note of it, though.
"Just go. We want nothing to do with you and nothing to do with your kind.” Della stood, with shock and admiration, as the tough words rung through her ears. It only amplified her appreciation for the stranger when she strutted right up to face Apocalypse’s face and sent him fleeing.
As the wolf introduced herself, Della let out a loud congratulatory bark her way, falling on the ground and rolling in excitement, subconsciously submitting to the strong-willed Delilah.
“That was awesome, Delilah! My name’s Della, by the way! Della of Koran! I think Koran and Deor are friend packs, y’know. I think.” The anger subsiding, the youngster flipped back onto her paws once more and looked about, smiling gleefully at her comrades.
“That was awesome, guys! We sure showed that jerk, didn’t we, huh?” She said, her tail wagging hard as it wallowed in their collaborative success. Running up to Shadow, who had been her dear friend for months now, she butted muzzles playfully with her, giggling happily as they reunited. However, she didn’t waste time with hellos; for there was one stranger amongst them now; one wolf she didn’t know the name of.
“You!” She called out, rather impolitely, (Though she wasn’t aware) to the other black wolf. She looked older, and strange, glittering objects jangling around her leg caused Della to stare.
“What’s your name?” The pup asked, trotting over to the wolf with a friendly glitter in her eye.

ooc: Great idea Della! And thanks for PMing Ryku!
Shadow's teeth gleamed in Fenris's warm rays. Her maw clenched tight as she growled at the red and black Fae in front of her. Her paws stretched on the ground, sinking their claws into the earth. Raking small mounds of dirt underneath them. Blue orbs glared at Apokolips, never leaving her for a second. Fur on the end and hackles raised, Shadow barley managed to utter another warning. "She's right! Leave while you still have some fur on your hide!" Shadow snarled taking a small confident step toward outcast of a Fae.
"Fools!" Apokolips snarled before bounding off into the woods. Shadow snapped at the retreating Fae's hind paws, missing them by centimeters. Her white tipped ears jerked up as they listened at Apokolip's fading paw steps. A wave of relief washed through her as Shadow could no longer hear the evil Fae's steps. Sinking to the ground, Shadow sighed and slowly began to calm down.
Shadow's eyes lit up as Della touched her, nose to nose. Shadow let out a small growl of pleasure and butted Della back. "Yeah, we sure did!" Her eyes followed Della as the reddish brown pup began to chat with Ryku. Getting onto her paws, Shadow trotted over to the other older Fae. Dipping her head, Shadow grinned at Delilah. "My name's Shadowwolf, Shadow for short. Nice to meet you Delilah of Deor." Shadow said, before sitting next to her. I think I'll leave the fact that I'm a healer out. Shadow's teeth bared a little from her smile. Ear's perked up as she waited for Ryku's answers to Della's questions.
