They had returned home just as winter turned to spring, such a short time ago it seemed...but as she limped back toward her birth home, white and grey pelt covered in crimson life Acheron reflected on her short time in these lands she had once called home. She collapsed to the ground shaking, she was unsure on how exactly she had become so wounded but it happened while hunting for herself and Atrus, on their return home. The young fea casted blue eyes to the sky and whined, wanting her mother, siblings, grandmother anyone to be here by her side but as she shivered in the dirt she could hear soft voices calling to her. The moon slowly rose into the sky, some clouds rolled along slowly almost like taking their time to watch the young varg suffer. She tried to stand but it was no good falling back down Acheron turned her muzzle skyward and howled, out of loneliness, fear and sadness.
He was curled up next to his mother and siblings, sleeping peacefully until a howl broke through the night and brought him from his dreams. Emerald eyes blinked away sleep as a yawn emitted from his muzzle, as long lanky legs carried him out of the den he recognized the scent...."Acheron?...." his pace quickened as he suddenly caught the scent of blood. Running toward the scent her realized he was now close to the border of Deor "Acheron?! what happened?!" the young male lowered his head and nuzzled his sister gently all he could see was the pain in her eyes and the blood dripping from her body he shook in fear and then let out a call of fear and urgency toward the heavens hoping someone would hear it
<<not a great start off...>>

She first heard Acheron's call and opened her light brown eyes, staring out at the night, then when Atrus padded out of the den she stood and stretched out her tired body followed him, she trotted until Atrus too cried to the skies and the sudden scent of her daughter and blood filled her nose and she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. Fearing the worst and hoping for the best to most this night would of been a nice peaceful one but now the tri-hued fea found her self in a panic, coming to a halt next to her daughter Cagalli whined nuzzling her "My dear Acheron, what has happened to you?!" she licked Acherons wounds but still felt panicked unsure of what she should do.
Looking about frantically Cagalli nudged Acheron lightly "Stay awake...and try not to move....I'm sure there's something we can do....something" the fea shook her head, first her mate left her to tend to these cubs alone and now Acheron was wounded terribly what was she to do? <<Cruddy post....but whatever>>

As always, a scent that seemed as if it were familiar once rushed over Deor's borders. Chalos raised his head from the stream he had been lapping, licking his chops and perking his ears. Another Deorian, come back to visit - what was it with Deor's pack members and their coming and going and coming and going again? Sheesh. Of course he, the Dragga, simply had to make an appearance.. Why not? He was so busy and yet at the same time there was nothing to do! With a half-excited grunt, the tricoloured alpha took off in an enormous, bounding mass of muscle and sinew, a bear-like beast making its way over the terrain.
Upon arriving at the trio's meeting, the first thing Chalos noticed was the scent of blood - it hung thick and heavy in the air, and, though wolven, it worked up a slight bloodlust within the great male. His emerald eyes picked out names for faces - Atrus, Cagalli, Acheron, Acheron being the wounded. A run-in with a Balkar? One could only wonder until she'd explain. Usually, the blood made the wounds look worse, but any bleeding injury was a job for the healers. Therefore, up went the Dragga's head and out came a booming howl, both calling Deor's healers and reminding the pack through the sheer distance the call traveled why he was their alpha. Not a word was exchanged between Chalos and the trio, he only sat his rump down and watched with intense eyes, silent, waiting to see what would happen next.

Between loved ones, it almost seems as if a bond exists, warning one if another is in grave danger. Mist pricks her ears and narrows her eyes as she hears distant howls and various other sounds. Her heart pangs in worry as she suddenly feels as if something is wrong. Wasting no time she follows her instincts and bounds into a full-out run, her lithe limbs swiftly taking her closer to her family. As she nears the small clearing, her heart leaps in horror as she catches the scent of blood and the sight of her granddaughter lying on the cold ground, deep scarlet blood flowing from her numerous wounds.
Taking the rest of the scene in at a glance she catches her Dragga's eye for only a moment and cannot help but be amazed at his cool presence even in such an emergency such as this. Swiftly her attention is turned to her family - grandchildren and daughter as she pads closer to the horrific scene. Leaning her head over Acheron's neck she gently nuzzles her and softly encourages the small fae. "Hold on, darling. We are all here. You must trust in us..." Even though it is contradicted in her calm voice she looks up at her daughter, underlying terror in her golden eyes. She mentally pushes it away, refusing to show this emotion to her already terrified daughter and grandchildren. She must be strong for their sakes.
She glances around again and almost lifts her maw to the sky to call for their hope - the healers, but then realizes that is another thing Chalos had taken care of. She takes a deep, slightly shuddering breath and touches her nose to Cagalli's neck, trying to comfort her daughter though there is little that can be done now but wait and hope...
((Sorry it took me so long to reply! Oh, Cagalli... I'm so sad this has to happen, but *sigh* I guess it's understandable...))

She heard the howls coming from more then one varg near Deor's boarders and woke up suddenly in the realization of the situation. Fenore stood on long slender white legs and took off out of the den running as fast as she could ears pressed flat against her skull. Skidding to a stop just a few feet away from the scene she gasped in fear and sadness over-took her. Seeing the vargs that stood around her sisters body she looked at her mother first then grandmother and whined "What...what happened?" her voice shaky and uncertin....if only she were able to help out somehow.
<<bah not what I was expecting sorry all>>
