Snow fell on Snowflame's back as she hurried from the on coming storm. The wind had already started to pick up, and Snowflame shivered.
Her beautiful blue eyes searched the land, though it was barely visible through the blizzard. She howled quietly to herself and suddenly bashed into a tree.
She fell over, and snow covered her silky pale grey fur. She wished her brother was with her, but he had gotten lost while searching for some food. Snowflame's stomach growled and she sniffed the bitterly cold air for a scent.
Just then she spotted a young rabbit scurrying into the trees in front of her. Snowflame growled and raced after it, dodging the trees. She tripped suddenly and landed outside a creepy looking tree, all gnarled and twisted.
Snowflame's small body jumped a metre in the air in fright, for she had mistook the tree for a human. Seeing her mistake, she blushed and trotted towards a pile of twigs.
From above her came a screech and Snowflame cowered. She looked up to see a huge bird. It was coming straight towards her.

The blizzard was something Amagao didn't much care for. The wind was punishing, and the cold was biting into his skin despite his thickening sable pelt. The little dragga had been wandering through the wood foolhardily. There was no real reason to be wandering about, but that little thought had yet to penetrate his thick skull. He was only half concerned about the weather, the other half of him was simply bored. The pup was wandering in a daze, gazing somberly at the snowy areas directly before him.
A scream pulled Amagao back to reality. A putnar of the sky's voice seared through the frigid wind. The black pup shivered and cast an anxious glance about him - checking for bogeymen. Once assured that none lie in wait for him Amagao continued with his confidence somewhat shaken. After a few steps silhouettes made him pause, until he noticed that it was only another varg. Then he noticed the form seemingly suspended in the air, a bird.
His boyish chivalry returned in a rush, and he darted forward. "Watch out! It'll get you!" Amagao was torn between the oh-so-tempting decision to run, or stay and attempt to be some sort of help. If only the dense drappa would move! Half-heartedly and with a heart that began to beat like a drum he darted forwards. His neatly executed leap would, if Amagao calculated correctly, collide him with the drappa, knocking her out of harms way.

Snowflame turned her head away from the bird and noticed a dragga coming towards her. She jumped back and growled at the stranger. She whimpered pitifully as the bird dived at her and hit her on her head.
" Ouch! Stupid bird!" cursed Snowflame, shivering like crazy. The bird dived again, but Snowflame didn't know which wolf it was going for. The blizzard continued to pound on her pelt and she knew that the bird would cause serious damage. Why was it going for them?

[ ooc;; it's alright, mine kinda sucks :P ]
It was just his luck that he missed. The smoky little man landed hard on his front paws, and they buckled beneath him throwing him face-first into the glittering snow. It was freezing, but that was only to be expected. A blanket of white covered him as Amagao picked himself up and glanced around. His heart scurried up into his chest as he spied the bird coming back. The other varg was just standing there, still. An exasperated sigh was lost in the gale as it battered his onyx pelt. "C'mon! We're under attack! Run for Fenris's sake!" Amagao screamed, his voice shrill and bubbling with fright. He'd tried once, so his conscious was cleared. With one last glance at the other pup he darted away, reaching a small stand of bushes before stopping and attempting to spy the drappa through the dagger-like snow. Where could she be, and how much sense did it take to turn tail and flee?

Snowflame heard the dragga's cry faintly, but stood frozen to the spot. sense came over her and she bolted just as the bird dived again.
Her pale fur whipped around as she ran for cover. Fear began to fade from her, replaced by curiousity. Who was that dragga?
She fled as fast as lightning, not even stopping to thank the young dragga as she past him in a blink of an eye. She knew that she owe it to the male, but right now she didn't want to go back and say so, for in fear of the bird attacking her already scratched head.
She reached the safety of a drift of snow by the edge of the forest, and lay down sullenly. She was desperately hungry, but maybe if she waited long enough something would come to her.
Hopefully.

[ sorry for my late reply. busy busy :P ]
He almost didn't notice when the silver drappa darted by. Her fur melded with the impending storm, and the falling snow, camouflaging her extraordinarily well. However, a moment or two after the fact it dawned on him the figure was moving into the wind, and that he no longer heard her behind him. Immediately a nearly overwhelming sense of loneliness overcame him and a deep fear began to burn in his belly. Amagao turned and fled into the wood, attempting to follow the mysterious varg.
So following another wolf in the harsh wind of a blizzard might be a little difficult, who knew? He was doing his best, craning his neck and nearly smothering his snout in the snow as he tried to spy the she-wolf's paw-prints. Waves of frustration buffeted him along with the water crystals, until he stumbled upon a form in the snow that didn't quite belong. It was her, the mysterious smoky gray drappa. Suddenly Amagao was nervous. "Um....hello? I'm, uh, I'm the hero who saved you...remember?" His voice was deep and confident, in total contrast to his body language. "A-are you alright, miss?" Manners first.

[no worries about it]
The young Drappa nearly jumped into the air with fright as the young Dragga said hello. Her pale pelt was thick with snow, and she shook it off and faced the handsome looking male. She blushed slightly and diverted her gaze towards the ground. She thought he looked a bit nervous, but maybe it was her mind playing tricks on her, for when he had spoken his voice had been deep and confident.
" M-my name is...um..Snowflame." she stuttered, embarrased at not saying thank you to her 'hero'.
She looked at his young face and suddenly remembered, with sorrow, her brother, who had gone missing. She lay down in the snow and turned away from the Dragga.
Why had her pack been killed? Why had her brother gone missing? Why was she alone? Why?
All these questions buzzed in her head like bees in a beehive, and it was irritating. She closed her eyes tightly shut, like a newborn cub, and trembled. She realised with annoyance that she still hadn't said thanks to the male.
She opened her eyes and suddenly, with horror, came a fericous bellow from not far away, and her blood turned to ice. Heart pounding, without noticing if the Dragga was there or not, she bolted for her life. Was everything after her life? She felt like it was.
Her small paws were starting to hurt, and she slowed, tired and hungry. She only regretted, if she was caught, that she never said thank you to the handsome male cub.
Her mind wandered briefly from the bear, and she snarled angrily. Was this forest sworn to hurt her?
Something was coming towards her. Would it harm her?

Snowflame. So that was the drappa's name. His nervousness died downed a little bit. They were out of the way of any immediate danger, and it seemed like Snowflame wasn't going to fuel any awkward silences. Amagao lowered himself to his haunches, curling himself into as small a ball as he could manage. It was a little unmanning, to be seen freezing in the snow. He attempted to look unaffected, but truth be told he was an icicle.
"Well, we're not strangers anymore....so I guess that means we're friends now, Snowflame." He tried out the drappa's name on his tongue, and it rolled off pleasantly. A little ironic though, he thought to himself, snow flames? Freezing fire? Amagao shook off the thought, chivalrous heroes didn't bother with things like that, then again Amagao wasn't too much of a hero. His dark brow furrowed as he pondered that thought. Well, it was better to be a living coward then a dead hero, in his opinion at least.
A rumbling roar seared through the blizzard, and Amagao's keen ears heard it all too well. The sound was enough to curdle his blood, although he'd never heard it so close before. His heart flew into his mouth, and his stomach lurched. It felt like if he only opened his mouth then he'd see his beating heart fly away. Gulping he realized that Snowflame was gone, and that it was probably a safe thing to follow suit.
"Snowflame! Snowflame, Snowflame, Snowflame! Don't leave me, please don't leave me all by myself out here!" Now Amagao didn't even feign bravery, his voice was similar to that of an sikla - cowardly.

Snowflame heard the voice of the Dragga. She stopped snarling, and, without further ado mustered all of her energy and bolted away from the creatures that were sworn to hurt her. If she would not come out of this forest alive, then at least she would have company.
Her pale pelt was rank with sweat, and she slowed, too tired now. She only hoped that her burst of adreneline had paid off, and that the bear wouldn't follow her.
She realised she hadn't even asked his name. How rude!
Eventually she spotted the male, and she gave out a small howl. She tried again, but she could not muster the strength to raise her muzzle, and so she drifted off to sleep, not even worrying if anything came and ate her.

[ no prob :) ]
Eventually his pace slowed to that of a sad little shuffle. His muddy, dark blueish eyes were straining against the impossible whiteness that suffocated him and leeched away any helpful details of his surroundings. Amagao's heart sunk. How he hated storms. Nervously he licked his black lips, and glanced behind him. His sable ruff stood on end, and a spider tickled his spine unpleasantly. Imaginary monsters advanced on him from every side. His heart beat faster, and faster...
Amagao jumped into the air, baring a fierce snarl, as a howl rang his ears. But the voice was not that of any number of his imagined foes, but of another varg pup, a drappa, the one he'd 'saved'? Immediately a smile lit up his face, and with the confidence of a naive child he set off in a randomly chosen direction that only happened to be the right one.
He found Snowflame. She could've been dead for all she moved and looked. But she was breathing, and Amagao let out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. Sauntering over to the little drappa he nudged her nervously with his snout, fear blossoming again at the thought of being alone. "Snowflame...it's, uh, you're friend....You awake?"

Snowflame felt the Dragga's wet nose on her and awoke from her sleep. She blinked several times, blinded by the brightness of the snow, and looked at the Dragga.
She suddenly realised that she didn't know his name. She glanced nervously around her, then growled quietly, "What is your name?"
She studied him carefully, then scented the ground around her. All she could smell was snow. Snowflame knew that they both needed some food, but where was it? She dearly wished her parents were still alive.
Then suddenly a snow shower started, and Snowflame stood up, her banner low as she tried to find a more sheltered place. She called for her friend, but didn't see him in the blizzard. She hoped he was following her, or going in the same direction.
Her pelt was soon covered with layers of soft snowflakes, and one landed on her snout. She tried to lick it off, but was unsuccesful. Snowflame paused, gave a little howl, then turned to see where the male was.
