A lithe figure swerves silently in between the trees. Her black paw hits the ground and sends a fountain of dust up into the air. Her breath was short and raspy.
Her ears stayed cocked back. Not in fear, but in search. Her eyes darted back and forth like the bees in the morning. The trees swayed above her silently.
"I wonder whos out to haunt me tonight?" Frostpool mused to nobody. The last few months have changed Frostpool. She used to be an immature pup. But, she's grown. Now, she is a hard soul to deal with. Her immaturity was washed away days ago in a river when she realized that she would get nowhere with her life.
Then, she found what she was looking for. There was a small, hollowed out tree that was just big enough for her. She slid into it with ease and laid her head down. She closed her eyes and the dreamland enticed her.
"Brother! Let's go play!" Frostpool yelled. He shook his head no. Frostpool didn't understand.
"Father and mother are fighting again!" he yelled. A tear formed in Frostpool's eye, for she hated when this happened.
"All the more reason to go out!"

The air was still now... evening was falling slowly as Fenris dipped low within the trees, taking the blazing heat and glare with him, his mate Tor would be rising soon. Pumpkin tented ears flickered forward as the cooing of doves softened to a near murmur, lanterns of the same color as his ears flickering up to look through the branches of the trees "Ah... Night... Night is good." he murmured, softly moving through the forest, ruddy red brown tail flicking behind him, the yellow tip barely noticeable in the twilight.
A grey nose twitched a second later to sniff at the air "Huh... a femme?" he squeaked softly, that meant a stranger... he was never good with them and doubted he would be, "Ah.. me and my fears.... I swear a mole could whoop my tail!" he muttered unhappily to himself and decided to follow the scent, treading slowly through the underbrush and grunting as the branches caught his fur.
"Ow... ow... ow! Man!" he grumbled, he always had the worse luck with nature. Coming to a stop in a clearing he looked around slowly, wondering where that scent was coming from "Uh... I hope I'm not imagining things" he muttered softly, still looking around.

A stir in the clearing awoke me. I jumped up to all fours and banged my head.
"Ow!" I screeched. I sniffed the air.
It's just a mann. Nothing to worry about.
I smiled to myself. I stepped out of the tree to face a colorful mann. He was quite handsome, actually. He was about my size. And maybe my age.
"Hello! I grant you Larka's Blessing. My name is Frostpool. And you?" I sat down and waited for the other wolf to answer. My tail thumped the ground beneath me.
A bird screeched overhead and I glanced up at it. I imagined myself as a Helper, soaring high above the other lera.
