Cagalli smiled wagging her tail as Mist welcomed her, glad to see her she nodded as her mother explained who the other vargs were. Cagalli studied Chayton wondering what this mann was like, she was very uneasy around them now for reasons only known to her and her close 'Family' of Farrah and Mist. As the others padded down the hill to meet Krystal Cagalli hung back but then followed coming to a stop inches away from her mother, the Dragga had appeared as well. She bowed her head in greeting to her old friend which she'd met sometime ago, glad to see she was doing well. All the other vargs spoke to Krystal, Cagalli kept silent unsure of what to really say, being it she'd only recently returned to her home.
<<ack! Crappy post forgive me!>>

(OOC: Sorry for taking so long to get back to this)
Things would have to soon transgress into more serious terms. Though her friend Mist had come to down from the hill top, accompanied by the acrobatics of Farrah, the pleasantries would end as the serious expression of Deor’s Dragga now played into the mind of all present. At once Krystal recognized the status of the Dragga, his presence held an aura of royal status as he moved along the ivory snows. “So this is Deor’s Dragga.” Krystal thought as her pinto gaze found the form of an approaching Chalos. He was well muscled for a male, and large like any Dragga should be. Adorned with a pelt of many colors, the autumn colored Varg moved proudly through his terra. Her own tail and form lowered in respect for the Dragga of Deor, not wishing to seem like a threat. Krystal gave her own bow in response as Chalos spoke, all ready he could smell the form of the amber male on her own pelt. It only made sense, since the meeting to travel to Deor was discussed in Draeg’s very den, and his musk must have still hung on the bi-colored pelt of the Ge-Radian. Before answering, Krystal looked at all the Deorians that had gathered around her. The rumors she had heard from Ge-Rad were true about this pack, for they certainly seemed as tightly-knit and bold like Draeg had explained.
Led by a powerful Dragga, it was no surprise that Deor was doing well; even during the time Wolfbane was strongest in the world. Krystal then brought her bi-hued optics back to the form of Chalos, being careful not to keep his gaze. “Ge-Rad brings you news, Dragga of Deor.” Krystal spoke as a gentle wind suddenly combed the lands, catching Krystal’s coat and swaying her fur and ebon banner in an eastern direction. Krystal had plenty of time to rehearse the news while the Ge-Radian warrior had traveled to Deor, yet still it was difficult to say where the best place to begin was. “Much has changed in Ge-Rad with the passing of our Drappa Cwen, and everyone is taking the loss pretty hard. Her death has affected Draeg greatly, and also, there is new life now in Ge-Rad, our Sikla and Beta has brought cubs into Ge-Rad. In this most delicate of times, Draeg would have solace in knowing that Deor’s alliance with Ge-Rad is still as strong as ever.” Certainly a true emmisery and pack negotiator could have worded these words better then the former Zanguzen ever could. But that was the best Krystal could do. With the news now said, she waited for the response of Deor.
(OOC: I was rushed, I know I missed alot of detail from other posties, I'm very sorry.)

[glow=black,5,000][Ew, Draeg musk. I have been feeling down lately and I'm finally starting to sort of pick myself up so I am so, so sorry that this has taken so long on my part. Here's my posty; I hate it how glow makes it all squished. Bah. I apologise, Krystal and everyone else.]
The great Dragga easily towered over each and every wolf in the gathering, but though his appearance was harsh, Chalos was one of the most friendly wolves in the area; the . He watched Farrah bounce here and there, emerald eyes obviously amused by the sheer amount of energy that the young wolf seemed to contain. Even so, he quirked his brow and gave her a look that said, 'this isn't the time for that.' There was a time for silliness and a time for seriousness and now was not the time for silliness. The tricoloured male then turned to Krystal and attempted to hold her gaze. "In Deor, Ge-Rad messenger, we treat each other with respect - we are all varg and we must all be honoured and noticed as being the top of the food chain, next to humans. So, she-wolf of Ge-Rad, I would rather not be disrespected by your lowering your eyes from ours; you are not Lera, thus you deserve to raise your head and tail high. I do not slave-drive these wolves of Deor, but they follow me as one who is here to help them during times of need and to make their lives the best they can be. I am the father of this family, not the beast of this army." Yes, Deor was tight-knit, but most wolves had never encountered such a pack where so many members, Sikla to Beta, were equal. "Look up and be proud of yourself, for your blood is wolven."
It was time for him to cease his lecture on wolf pride - he had never half-scolded a wolf from another pack before. But now was not a time to tell a foreign she-varg to raise her head as if Ge-Rad was ruled wrongly; now was a time to listen, to receive the message that was meant for Deor's ears. Her words began, and what Chalos heard startled him. Upon hearing of Cwen's death, the Dragga recoiled - why didn't anybody tell him of this news sooner?! Inside he felt slightly bitter to the packs around him - he had pledged alliance with them, yet he never received 'urgent' or even slightly important news until weeks, perhaps even months, afterwards. Did they all purposely leave him behind? Did they simply remember that he existed at the very last minute? He led a great pack, but his relationships with Koran and even Ge-Rad soured his opinion about both of them and how important Deor was in Transylvania.
Nevertheless, Tarkah and Draeg were his friends and Draeg was going through rough times; it was the Deor alpha's nature to be forgiving, after all. With a gentle smile, Chalos' head bobbed in a sincere nod. "She-wolf of the Mann Draeg, I and Deor will always be here for Ge-Rad and their Dragga. Please let him know that if he needs to get away from his pack and relax his mind, work out all of the kinks in his thoughts, he can appoint one of his pack as temporary leader and come here. Also, make it an important task to emphasize to Draeg that he and Ge-Rad will always have sanctuary here as long as I lead Deor. We do not judge him... And if he needs to defend himself, I am ready to thrust myself in front of a human spear for him. He is my closest friend." In respect, he bowed his head to the faemme - his response, though short, had been sincere. He was desperate for the other packs to accept him as a friend and he needed to make it known that Deor was home to all and any - even a Dragga who is losing himself.
That said, Chalos backed away and let his rump touch the ground, sitting ever-so-elegantly. He watched Krystal all the while, ears periodically swiveling to the Deor members. He was a wolf of honesty and love... he only wished that he was treated more like a Dragga by the neighbouring packs and less as if he didn't exist.[/glow]
