`The land was covered in a light mist of morning dew. The heavens above grew ever so lighter as the great glowing orb of Fenris began to rise slowly up, surfacing from the horizon. The inhabitants of the forests seemed to have rised as well as low chattering and chirping began to ascend and erupt into a chorus of twitters and song.
Below the canopy of oak and birch rustled a form of light tan. It’s head high as it looked around, its eyes ablaze as it searched its surroundings for anything abnormal. It’s tail curled upwards into a graceful arc. Its thin muzzle dipped and shook as droplets of dew fell onto her. Firefly stepped forwards, making the bracken shake and shed its heavy load of water. Paws padded forwards as she stepped into the clearing, she had been up before the dawn had rose and now Fly felt tired. Her tanned form though was abnormally unproportional. While everything was about the right size, her stomach was steadily growing larger, its form swollen by each day and her pups could have been due any time now. Firefly stifled a yawn and shook out her pelt. She sighed, wondering where her son was. She perked up her ears but smiled. He would be near. She thought and turned to the right and padded towards a great oak with low sweeping branches and an overly large stump that had a fairly decent indent at the bottom. Firefly padded towards the stump and let herself down slowly. She sighed and placed her head upon her paws, her eyelids fluttering to close. By now the sun had climbed into the sky, bringing golden light to the land. Its warm rays shimmering and warming Firefly.
Today was the day. She thought. That she would travel to the Deor lands to find Draeg, and hope for the dragga of Deor’s approval of her joining. Though truthfully Firefly was worried that they would chase her away. Firefly lifted herself from her spot and began to slowly make her way toward the Deor borders.
By the late afternoon Firefly could tell that the border’s were almost in sight when a rustle of leaves caught herby surprise and she froze. Firefly’s cyan eye’s scanned the area around her. Her neck hairs bristled as her lips curled. Who was there?

The borders of List slowly sank away as paws of white swept across the forest grounds. It was a wolf. Its crimson ears perked into the sunlight. It was a she varg, its chest an ivory white and its back shawled with a warm brown and bristled black. The tri coloured wolf slowed her gait into a brisk trot. Her muzzle brought up into the air, enjoying the crisp morning air. Her eyes began to search the area for a certain tanned femme.
Gryffin slowed and looked toward a thicket that was quite a distance away. “Where in Tor’s name is she!” Gryffin had growled in frustration. Gryffin knew what state Firefly was in and was worried about her safety more then ever. Then again there was Draeg that could protect her but he was not always around. Gryffin thought, remembering that he had to spend time with his other mate Cwen.
Gryffin padded forwards and arrived at the thicket where Firefly had been. Scenting it Gryffin sighed. “I’m late once again aren’t I?” She said to no one in particular. She then swung herself around and ran toward Firefly. There was no need to scent for her trail. The tri hued varg knew exactly where she was heading. And that was to Gryffin’s disappointment the Deor pack lands. Gryffin growled. She was not to fond of the Deor pack. Not at all. But for Firefly she would have to make an exception.
Gryffin’s history with the Deor was not that of a bright one either. With the war with Koran, Deor had been allies with them and apart from Koran, Deor was frowned on by the emissary. But then again things were different know. The old Drappa of Deor had passed on and now a new Dragga had taken the responsibility of leadership. Gryffin thought about this. She knew her drappa, Fiory, had made amends with the Deor, commanded a truce between the two feuded packs. At that time Gryffin had been wary with the idea, when they had nearly starved and Fiory’s own cubs near peril because of the war with Koran and deor close ranks with them. But at least now it would come useless in her aid for Firefly for now the Deor could not be at her neck.
Gryffin looked up and pushed her way recklessly through the bracken when she had spotted a tan shape moving infront of her. She saw the tan form stop and begin to growl with a defensive stance. “Hey, don’t worry there Fly, It’s just me” Gryffin assured and stepped out from the bushes. She smiled and padded up to the tanned femme nuzzling her. She then gave her a wry look, “Why Deor?” she mumbled with a bitter tongue. Gryffin then padded past her, “Well come on! We haven’t got a whole day.” Gryffin said looking to Firefly and tapping one of her back paws.

Firefly stood, her breath Long and sharp as she focused her gaze at the vegetation. She let out another low growl. Perhaps it was a mistake coming out her after wall. Firefly thought when suddenly the bushes rustled again and out from it emerged the figure of a she wolf. One that Firefly recognized. "Gryffin!" she barked breathing out a large sigh, "Don't ever do that ever again!" she growled, her cyan orbs almost as menacing. Well as menacing as Firefly could be. "You scared the daylights out of me" she scolded and then smiled as the List she varg came up to her. Firefly sighed and smiled nuzzling her back.
Firefly then gave a small chuckle, "Why not?" Firefly shrugged and expected Gryffin to frown with more frustration. Firefly had learnt of the feuding packs. She looked to Gryffin, "Draeg says that it'll be safe there." she assured. "So don't you worry." Firefly smiled.
Maybe Gryffin was unconvinced. Fly then blinked, "Wait, why are you here? Shouldn't you be in List? Away from these lands?" Firefly questioned.
Firefly could tell that Gryffin was not the happiest of the varg right now though Firefly was surprised at how determined Gryffin was to accompany her to the Deor lands. Fly smiled, "I'm coming, I'm coming! See you haven't gained a hundred pounds! It makes you much slower yah know" Firefly prodded and padded after Gryffin. "You know Gryff... you don't have to come."
Firefly said and padded on, the invisible fence that was the border to the packlands stood before Firefly. She stopped and decided not to enter yet. She then lifted her muzzle and sent a howl out into the forests. Calling to the pack of her presence and arrival and calling for her amber mate.
(Yah, I've got to go, so this will be my last post too and it isn't the best... well I'll talk to you tomorrow Gryff!)

They were late. Tension filled the air as Draeg anxiously awaited the arrival of his mate, he had been waiting along the outskirts of Deor since Fenris had risen over the horizon last sun and during that time he had grown increasingly anxious. After learning about Firefly’s pregnancy Draeg had convinced the tan hybrid to join Deor so that he might keep a closer eye on her and knowing that the pack would take care of her during his absence to check on Cwen and his first litter. Leaving Firefly in the care of their son Draeg had set out to Deor ahead of his mate in order to prepare the pack for her arrival and see if Chalos would permit him to have a mate, having made a slight detour to spend time with his children along the way. The amber varg came across Gryffin and Sudak during a short excursion to the river and, having never truly recovered from the events of Cwen’s pregnancy, asked them if they would escort Firefly to Deor, knowing that they would do everything in her power to make sure Firefly made it to Deor safely. They had reluctantly agree much to Draeg’s pleasure and he had immediately set out to Deor to find a suitable den for his mate to whelp their pups, commandeering an abandon fox den near the outskirts and furnishing it with an assortment of grass and fur for bedding.
Draeg had been rather disappointed that he had been unable to locate Chalos but knew that it would be pointless to continue searching for the larger Dragga if he didn’t want to be found, though he wondered how such a huge varg managed to hide himself so easily. Giving up his search Draeg had returned to the densite where he had patiently awaited the arrival or Firefly and her escorts, however they were running behind and Draeg found himself growing increasing worried until he found himself pacing. “Something’s happened.” He growled, fear evident in his tone. “It shouldn’t have taken them this long to get here.”
He came to an abrupt halt as a familiar howl suddenly cut through the air, causing him to breathe out a sigh of relief and his anxiety to slightly dissipate. It was Firefly. Throwing his head back and Draeg let out his own howl, answering his mate’s call and signaling that he was on his way. With that done he broke out into a wild run, tearing through the forest and kicking up dirt and debris as he quickly made his way toward the pack boundaries and his mate. It didn’t take him long to spot them, they were sitting together on the borderline patiently awaiting his arrival though Sudak appeared to be absent. However Draeg seem to take notice to this, his attention was solely focused on that of his mate and in a matter of moments he was at her side, showering her with an array of loving licks and affectionate nuzzles. Pulling away after a moment he spoke, his features hardening somewhat. “You’re both late.”

A ghostly figure made it's way throught the braken brush approaching the lands of Deor. He had been following the scent of his mate to this point but now it was becoming more and more scarce as he sson began to find scents of unfarmiliar varg. He descended into a valley encompassed with trees all around him. He didnt like the setup of this land and this situation left him completely vulnerable. He dashed out of the encompanyment to the next ridgeline and breathed an unneeded sigh of relief. He should have none better. Among all of the frustration withhimself Sudak lost focus and therefore lost all traces of Gryffin's scent. Sudak turned on his haunches to find that a howl arose among the tree tops. Sudak didn't recognize the howl but decided it was the only lead he had at the time to finding Gryffin.
He dashed down the ridgline towards the source of the howl to stop behind two varg behind the brush, he noticed one to be his mate Gryffin. This brought a huge smile to his face, the other however he didn't recognize the second fae. Sudak however noticed now that Draeg had dashed into the scene to the unknown varg. Sudak tilted his head sideways, and Draeg spoke. Sudak gave a smirk and stepped through the brush to reveal himself. "Well better late then never I suppose" spoke Sudak as he broke through the previous silence. "Hello again Draeg. And my dear, there you are." He slowly spoke sypathetically as he padded to Gryffin. He nuzzled her and gave a quick lick to the nose and turned his head the varg whom Sudak had yet to meet. "Well hello, who might you be? I've yet to meet you."

Gryffin walked back few paces over to Firefly and grinned, giggling "boo" she said her tail wagging. Gryffin then looked to Fly and pursed her upper lip and started mumbling something under her breath about how complicated the hybrid was and how difficult she is.
Gryffin then made a hop and a skip forward noting the Firefly was following. Her ears pricked she shrugged once more and cleared her throat in an sophisticated way, "I have been granted the fair occupation of escorting your royal behind" Gryffin said giving off a playful smirk.
Gryffin then let out a cheerful laugh, "Maybe I might gain a hundred and one pounds." she then paused and frowned, "Then you have to be the one escorting me, maybe I'll make you carry me as well" she laughed as she began to walk forward, heading closer to the Deor lands. "Oh I've gotta come. Draeg said he'd give me free herla for five moons." Gryffin laughed and then shook her head, "Nah just teasing. I can't let you come here alone can I?" Gryffin said raising an eyebrow before continuing on their trek.
Finally the scent of Deor was strong in the wind. Gryffin's neck bristled, the ever so familiar scent of Deor, made her lip twitch with anxiety. She padded over to the border and scented it. It was strong with the musk of the alpha male. Gryffin nose wrinkled and she paced back over to the tanned hybrid as she sent her chorus of howls into the afternoon air. Not long after another howl broke the still air, a male's voice One that sounded like the red varg Draeg. Gryffin has much hopes that it was him and not another dragga for Firefly's sake.
The pair then waited until finally the bracken had rustled. Gryffin jumped forward, her lips parting into a vicious snarl. Who knows what lera lurked amidst the shadows. Her lips curled like that of a balkar, a trait that brew fresh in her blood. But at the sight of the red wolf Gryffin's poise relaxed and she let out an exasperated sigh. "Frightening...frightening" she muttered with a lopsided grin. Gryffin then looked up at Draeg, "Greeting to you dragga." she grinned and shook her head, "Your just early. But then again we did get here first" Gryffin said walking two full circles as if she were chasing her tail. "You came late"
Gryffin's ears then pricked as she whipped her head around to see the white form of Sudak emerge from the foliage. "Sudak!" she let out a bark and licked the white male on his muzzle.

*The morning had been wet - very wet. Dew clung to the green, golden and crimson leaves of the forests' canopy, holding tight to the long grasses that were now dispersing their loose seeds on anything that happened to walk by and brush their thickening pelts past, hooking onto the hairs and being dislodged else where within the forest. The misty morning had settled a new silence on the undergrowth, a calming peace that seemed lazy and gentle - just how the Sikla of Deor liked it.
It had taken Lufian great effort in getting up this damp morning. Dew had not only clung to the vegetation - but to the stone walls of Deor's den and to the varg's pelt. She was cold and drowsy, unwilling to budge from her warm, tight knick at the back of the den. But soon, Fenris began to rise in the skies and burn down his end of summer heat on the land, helping to absorb all moisture and dry the dying leaves further till the ones which had fallen to the forest floor through the past few days dried and cracked, crumbling under even the smallest lera's paw. Lufian crawled out last from the den's entance and stretched her abnormally long legs, yawning widely and shaking her now dry pelt. Debris and dust flew into the air as she passed by and out into the forest, scenting the trees and grasses on her way. Where was she headed? She knew not. All she knew was that everything seemed silent and dull...but how would she know? She was partically deaf...and blind. A new scent suddenly drifted on the light autumn breeze and she slowed to a halt, craning her long neck forward and almost tasting it with her more than sensitive nasal. Indeed someone new was in the territory. But for Lufian, she too was new and knew few of the Deor members - however she did note beforehand that this was a very small pack...and that she'd probably met all but one or two of it's allusive members.
Padding forward she kept her head and tail low, long legs making her seemingly gentle walk turn into a lope that carried her over the land at a swift pace - at least this meant she used up little of her energy. Howls had sounded - but they were so faint to Lufian's flattened auds that she took no notice. It took her less time than usual to reach the Deor boundaries, and she made sure to stick to it, not taking even a slight sway onto the otherside - now terrified of the Kerl territory. The scents were getting stronger - and one in particular caught her attention. List? What were List vargs doing here?
Without the strong friendship between Lufian and Shatocwnn, it would havebeen doubtful that she would have known much about the strong family pack - but ever since her dearest friend's death, the scent had stuck firmly in her mind. And this simply drew her interest even further, now forgetting the other Deor scent and completely foreign scent. Reaching the small group of four varg, Lufian slowed to an abrupt halt and lowered her form slightly to a Sikla stance, whimpering lightly before speaking out in a terribly soft tone - so quiet she couldn't even hear herself speak. "Who are you to pass into the Deor lands?"

Chalos, at last, arrived at the scene where a group of strangers and only two of his own packmembers were gathered. Nostrils flared as he panted heavily, having run as quickly and gracefully as he could muster as soon as his ears picked up Firefly's howl, nearly flying from one end of Deor to the other. Tongue hung out of his mouth, sides rose and fell quickly with each breath he took, and it was obvious that he had struggled to arrive as quickly as he could.. Though he still managed to turn up late, as always.
"Draeg," He managed, hanging his head as he pulled breath in and out of him in long gasps in an attempt to calm himself down. "Who.. Who are these strangers?" Ears perked, however, as a familiar scent entered his nostrils. Fiory... These wolves were from List, a pack that he had only recently accepted an alliance with. The packs were still not as close as he wished, but they were close enough for Chalos to dub them allies. "List wolves, you are welcome in my packland. Wander as you choose." He announced, nodding in approval to the proud List varg before him.
All thought ceased as a crude scent came to him - there was a pregnant she-varg among the group. His emerald eyes widened, and he looked to Draeg with a surprised expression. Swift paws rushed him up to Firefly, and he licked her muzzle as if trying to comfort her, noting the distinct scent of her mate and his most recent packmember, the amber male he had just cast his gaze towards. "Have you found a place for her to bear her young yet, Draeg?" He inquired, quirking a brow in curiosity. "There are plenty of abandoned lera dens here, but if you believe it would be more comfortable for her, you have my permission to use the pack den." Smiling gently, he moved to Lufian's side, lowering his head to nudge the Sikla femme with the very tip of his nose, a comforting gesture that he hoped would reassure the smaller varg - List would not attack their allies, at lease he hoped not.. Especially while they were outnumbered in lands that were not theirs.
The Deor Dragga was sure to keep his tail high to suggest his dominance, and he eyed List warily, for he, though unfamiliar with the allied pack, had also heard the tales of List and Deor. Though he was not afraid of two List wolves in his territory, he was afraid that the strangers would decide to do something stupid that would get them in trouble, which would in turn cause another bout of chaos to arise between the two packs. "Lufian," He whispered in the timid she-varg's ear, "Here's a job for you, make sure the two List wolves don't make fools of themselves. I'm not sure that I can quite trust them yet.. Let them proove that they are indeed our allies." Rearing his head back up, the alpha nodded to Firefly, looking to Draeg in order to hear his reply on his Dragga's offer to use Deor's pack den for Firefly to bear her pups, brows raised in inquiry.

Firefly blinked as she cocked an ear at Gryffin. "Oh so Draeg told you to come?" Firefly asked. "And you wouldn't have came if he didn't ask you?" Firefly said in a mock hurt sort of tone. Firefly then laughed and nodded, "fine, I've accepted your reason." Firefly teased and skipped forwards. But looked back to the tri hued varg. "I'm afraid I'd break my backbone just thinking about carrying you m'dear" Firefly said sticking her tongue out.
Firefly then turned around and almost jumped when she saw the sudden figure of Draeg. She fell back onto her bottom and whined, "Sorry Draeg, we took longer then we thought' she said and shaking herself out she then stood back on all fours, alert and senses alive and well once again as she padded over to Draeg and nuzzled him affectionately.
Almost at once came the rustling of the brambles and out came a snowy white wolf that Firefly had no recognition of. Her ears fell back and she stepped back wards, unsure of the situation. At this she looked to Gryffin who had no inkling of defense nor worry that a strange male varg had just appeared. Instead she had met him with warm kisses and hugs. Firefly cocked an ear and wondered. Until she realized and mentally slapped herself. She looked to the white wolf and smiled, "I'm Firefly" she said softly, "You must be Gryffin's mate then." she said smiling and giving Gryffin a sideways look.
Firefly then stepped back, for once again the bushes were rattling and out came a third wolf. A femme this time. She had a light grey coat and eyes of blue. Firefly bowed her head, the femme's scent was of pure Deor. Her tail pinned against her back leg as an intruder to foreign lands, it was instinct. "I'm/ I'm Firefly" she said with a nod when once again the bushes spat out another wolf. Another male wolf. Though this time he was noticeably larger and he held his poise with dominance. At once Firefly lowered her head in respect, her tail tucked beneath her. She knew this to be the dragga of the pack.
Firefly had listened silently to Chalos' questions and concerns to the amber male Draeg and cocked her head. Of course the alpha must have known about her, and how she was pregnant with cubs that were due anytime now. She looked to Draeg for the answer. Had he chosen out a den for her yet? Or were they due on a little shopping around for the perfect little set for the whelping?

Draeg’s features softened as Firefly whined an apology for their tardiness before coming forward and nuzzled him affectionately, alleviating some of his fears and putting his mind at ease. “I…was worried.” He admitted, pinning his ears guiltily. Quirking a brow he cast Gryffin a skeptical glance, watching as she let out a quick sigh and casually chased her tail. “While I thank you for bringing Firefly to me I feel that I must remind you that I asked you to meet me at Deor and since I haven’t set foot off these lands since I arrived last sun, there is no way I could be late.” Turning his attention back toward Firefly the amber varg let out a slight whine and nuzzled his mate tenderly. “Though I suppose I could’ve been a little more specific on where to meet.”
At a slight rustle from the bushes Draeg placed himself defensively between his mate and the intruder, pulling his lip back into a vicious snarl and baring his fangs menacingly. However upon seeing the familiar form of Sudak emerge from the bracken he stopped, tucking his tail between his legs shamefully as he silently berated himself for not realizing that Sudak would be following behind his mate. A moment of awkward silence followed though it was ultimately broken when Gryffin went to greet her mate, Draeg greeted the arctic varg with a polite nod before turning to introduce his mate. “Welcome to Deor my friend, allow me to introduce you to my beautiful mate Firefly.” He said proudly, padding over to his mate and rubbing himself firmly against her side. “I apologize for my actions but as you can so plainly see we’re expecting.” Draeg’s ears perked to the sound of someone whimpering in the bushes, wondering who else had arrived on the scene the amber varg turned to find a femme he had never seen before exiting the brush. She was a gangly thing with abnormally long legs, making Draeg wonder if perhaps was like Firefly and blood of dog flowed through her veins, her fur was for the most part gray though it seemed to be black at the tips, her pelt faded and grew lighter as it went down until it was a pale white, one of her ears was shorter then the other and appeared to have been torn off long ago, and while her eyes were blue one of them seemed to completely overshadow the other giving it an eerie look and revealing the blindness within. Draeg’s nose twitched as her scent filled his nose and noticed that she smelled of the surrounding area, his eyes flickered slightly as realized that he was looking at one of his fellow packmates. Having never met the entire pack the amber varg had no idea who she was, however it only took him a moment to realize that she was nothing more than a mere Sikla from the way she held herself. Sensing that she would be no threat to them Draeg adopted a more dominant posture, lifting his tail in the air like a banner and raising his head so that he was looking down on the cowering she-wolf. “I am Draeg, though you may be unfamiliar with me I am a member of this pack as well as its healer.” He announced, his amber eyes boring into those of the Sikla.
Before he could finish his introduction Chalos suddenly burst into the scene, the Dragga was panting heavily and his tongue was hanging from the side of his mouth, it was clear that he had come as fast as he could but still managed to arrive late. At a word from Chalos Draeg lowered his head in a respectful bow and spoke. “Forgive me sir, this is my mate Firefly. She has come to join our pack and help us rekindle the flame that was once the Deor pack. The others are my friends, Gryffin and Sudak, I asked them if they could escort Firefly here while I prepared Deor for her arrival.” He explained, making sure to remain close to his mate less things go awry. “I was hoping they’d stay for the duration of her term.” Realizing his mistake the amber varg muttered a quick curse, he hadn’t meant to reveal Firefly’s condition until he was sure that Chalos would permit him to have cubs. He gave out a weak whine as Chalos regarded him with a surprised expression before rushing forward, for a moment Draeg was afraid that he was going to attack him however the mighty Dragga merely brushed past him and began to examine Firefly. His eyes flared when he saw Chalos lick Firefly’s muzzle, causing a low growl to form at the pit of his stomach and work its way up to his maw and his entire body to bristle angrily as a sliver of jealously worked its way through his body. “Hey! I’m right here you know?” he barked, placing himself between his mate and the huge Dragga. However after a moment he lowered his gaze and muttered a quick apology, knowing that Chalos hadn’t meant anything by his actions and that he was being more than a little hypocritical. Upon hearing Chalos’ question he cast a glance at Firefly and flashed her a quick smile before nodding. “I have chosen a spot along the outskirts that is well hidden and is close to the pond, but since she will be the one whelping the pups and not me the final decision is really up to her.”

Firefly stepped a step back, apprehensive at first as more wolves entered the scene. She looked to Draeg and smiled shyly. Looking over toward the rest of the pack she dipped her head again. Her cyan gaze swept over to look at the dragga, Chalos. "Thank you Dragga" she bowed. Though her voice was lowered and quiet.
Firefly then turned to look at Draeg and grinned giving a shrug when she saw him bark at Chalos for licking her. She then sat down and looked toward Lufian, giving her a nod before putting her attention back on the two Deor males.
Firefly then looked to Draeg and smiled, "It does not matter Draeg. Anywhere is fine. And I'm sure the den you picked out will be just as good as any I pick out" Firefly said with a bark and a wag of her tail as she got up slowly.
Her belly had increased in size and it looked rather silly on the small wolf. Tail curled and wagged as she padded forwards and stopped, ears cocking as she looked toward Draeg and Chalos. "Should we pay a visit to your chosen den?"

Draeg turned his gaze over to Firefly and tenderly nuzzled her neck as though attempting to comfort her. “Yes it does matter, when your time comes I will not be allowed to enter the den and you will be alone. I want you to be as comfortable as possible when you do.” He whined softly. At Firefly’s suggestion he merely nodded and waited patiently for her to rise, once she was ready Draeg motioned for the small pack to follow him.
As he led them further into the depths of Deor Draeg made sure to walk beside Firefly, never once leaving his mates side less she need his help. They finally arrived at the densite Draeg had chosen for Firefly, the den itself was located within a large patch of shrubbery that lay at the base of a hallowed log, the core rotten away due to a combination of time, fungus, and various other life forms that had fed on the lumber, due to the brush the den had been concealed from sight making it difficult for unwanted predators and other lera find. Padding over to the brush and giving it an experimental sniff Draeg motioned for Firefly to inspect the den, seating himself at the entrance and casting a quick glance at the others.
Recalling his last (and only) visit to List Draeg turned his gaze over toward Gryffin, a mischievous smile working it’s way up his muzzle as he recalled his farewell statement to her. “So…” he growled casually. “Is there anything either of you want to tell me? Seeing as I’ve been absent for about a moon, I must have missed a lot. Anything good happen while I was gone?”

Firefly got up onto her ivory paws, her thin snout turning to look toward Draeg as she shook off the debris and dirt that clung to her tan hued fur when she was resting. She looked over to Gryffin and swished her tail to the side. After barking to the tri colored she wolf Firefly turned and followed Draeg, her paws stepping carefully as she made her way through the Deor lands.
Her swollen belly swinging gently as she tread forward and stepped into the pace of her mate. Tail swinging as she took in the many sights of Deor and its beautiful landscape. Firefly turned to Draeg, "So where is it?" she asked in a low voice as she walked on.
Firefly nodded and tilted her head as she saw Draeg motion to the den they arrived at. Firefly padded upto it and scented it, her ebon nose twitching back and forth. It smelt of wilted vegetation and the remnants of the spring fragrances. Fly could tell that it had been shelter to many other inhabitants, but now it would be hers. Firefly padded forward and sank her front feet into the entrance of the den and scented the walls, bringing her front paw up and scratching at the soft earth that constructed the shelter. Firefly grinned and turned around sitting down on her haunches, "Its fine Draeg, this will do perfectly" she exclaimed her tail wagging. "What do you think?" She said motioning her question to Sudak and Gryffin. Somehow she knew that gryffin would have much to comment on this placement and perhaps have her own 'formal' check.
Firefly padded over to Draeg and smiled, running her pink tongue over his cheek, "It'll be a fine place to whelp the cubs" she said, tawny tail now wagging.

Sudak started after the free-ranging varg and noticed how unusually close he was remaining to her side. He did however understand his meaning for this. Draeg had stopped and then Sudak saw a small smile begin to creep across Draeg's maw. Sudak tilted his head to a side in wonderment, trying to figure out what had made him so happy all of a sudden. He also noticed he was looking straight at Gryffin. Sudak could feel tension build up in his muscles and his eyes narrowed for a quick second. When Draeg broke the silence Sudak relaxed instantly and returned to his happy, aware state of being. Draeg's quick willed questions somewhat startled Sudak. It was like he had known something was up. Of course Sudak had been hinting at it for some time but he couldn't remember if he had mentioned it to Draeg. Sudak swivled his head to his mate, a smile quickly taking over his maw. Joy soon filled his eyes as his eyes made their way down to her stomach. He then snapped back to face Draeg, the huge smile still stretched wide across his maw. "Only time will tell my friend, even though I'm sure something magical has happened."Sudak couldn't give a bigger hint that this one without full out telling him. Sudak then slowly padded up to Gryffin's side and nuzzled her warmly with his eyes closed tight, as if blocking out the world and blocking in his memories. // Sorry for my little absence here but i've been looking for Gryff off and on and finally checked back here, and gathered up the energy to post .... WHERE IS GRYFFIE!!! //
