Cool droplets fell from the heavens upon the two travelers. Them it felt like they've been running for a while, up until Faolan stops for a moment in front of a small opening. They may have stopped but the rain continued to fall. The crack of an opening, in the side of a cliff was overgrown. Trees covered the entrance, with a web of branches concealing it from unwanted visitors. The on floors, the walls, hung vines that enveloped a small portion of the den, the entrance. She warned him to watch his step as he crept into the tiny hole. Negi couldn't even see himself tripping so close to the ground already. He snickered a bit under his breath as he watch Faolan trip and stumble as she warned him to be wary just seconds ago.
A few more feet of crawling and the ceiling of the cave lifted up. Negi could hardly believe that such a large den had an entrance so small that he had to crawl through to get in. There were patches of dry leaves scattered about in the cave. He shook off all the water that was soaked into his coat from the trip here, splashing everywhere. Heading over to one of the walls of the den, he laid down with his back to it. He was in a place that was unknown to him, and he didn't feel completely safe, regardless of what Faolan had said earlier.
Once again the question about Negi's past arose. His past was his past and he put it behind him. But, the night was to be long, and with much time to fill. He thought it was about time to answer this curious vargs questions. For he himself was a curious one as well.
Negi turned toward her, and leaned his head on his front paws. "Well there's a reason i don't know that much about the world of the vargs.," he took a deep breath. "When i was a pup, something happened to my pack. I was out lost and I never saw them again. I don't really know what happened to them. But, i was lucky for an old human took me in and i was able to survive. That's where my weird language comes from and that's where i got this..." he shook his right paw and his anklet danced around his limb. "Recently the world has taken her from me as well. So I'm on my own again." He curls up and from inside his cocoon, "so what about you? Why are you alone too?"
