The days were starting to become warmer, and the snow was finally melting from the land. It was the first time in a long time that a young girl laws able to play outside. Her family had a very large plot of land, which they fenced off, in an attempt to keep out unwanted visitors and to kept the family safe. In addition they had Zwi. A young wild wolf, who only seemed to like the youngest daughter of the family, the same girl who played outside, but this day was not like normal days, and would end very different then the routine days Zwi was used to.
Normally the family would throw the creature bones with bits of raw meat still attached to it, but for a while now they hadn’t done this. Whish usually didn’t bother Zwi, since many small wild creatures lived and traveled threw the land she was bound to. Rabbits were her favorite thing, they were much more filling then the other creatures and a joy to chase. However with the winter as harsh as it had been, there had not been a wild rabbit in the area in quite some time. Zwi was unable to handle the hunger, her belly ached, and her body craved food, she didn’t know what she would do if she didn’t get food soon. The Gril got up from her play running back into the house, catching Zwi‘s attention, and causing her to follow the child with her eyes. That’s when she spotted something, a small rabbit. This was smelled different from the rabbits she was used to running around, but she didn’t care, she was so hungry instinct took over, and Zwi was in a hunting trance.
Slowly she crept forward, her vision focused only on the soon to be meal. She licked her maw, creeping faster as she got closer. Closer she crept but the rabbit did not move, it was less away and skittish as normal rabbits and didn’t even know what was about to hit it. Her creeping became a run and with a snarl she pounced on the helpless creature, grabbing it by the neck, clamping her jaws together as hard and she could, shaking the rabbit back and forth. The rabbit let out a shrill scream, making Zwi bite and shake the creature harder, but suddenly another scream filled the air, not that of the rabbit but of the little girl. Zwi hadn’t realized that she pounced on the creature just as she girl came skipping back outside. With only the life of her new pet in the girls mind, she ran over, grabbing at the now almost lifeless ball of fluff, giving it a hard tug. Zwi still in a bloodlust, only knew that something else was trying to take her meal away from her, and she snarled and snapped, biting wildly at the poor girls arm. Then latching down hard, about to shake, but suddenly something smacked her right near her eye, and she snapped to. The girl had balled her free hand into a fist and hit at Zwi blindly, screaming trying to get her arm free from the beats mouth.
Letting go, Zwi immediately sunk to the ground, realizing she had dome something terrible. She should not understand what the girl was saying but she was making noises she had never heard before, she could only imaging it at she growling and snarling of an angry human. The girl was swinging her uninjured arm at her, trying to hit her again and again, Zwi sinking lower further, backing away with each swing. After backing a far enough distance, Zwi watch the girl run back into the house, and Zwi retreated to the farthest corner of her land. She had all but forgotten about the rabbit she was so hungry for. The girl noises rang in her ears, and for whatever reason they name her fearful. “They are going to kill you now you know?” Her ears perked, and she looked around for the source of the voice. She turned her head, and was face to face threw the bars of her enclosure with her old friend. He was an older varg, a kerl who had told her stories of wild wolves and the outside world, and a valley she had originally come from. He Didn’t look at her though, he stared past her looking at the house the girl had run into, there were many frantic and angry noises coming from inside of it. “I was passing by when I saw what happened. I hadn’t planned on stopping by for a visit, but I just thought I would let you know. They are going to kill you.” Zwi’s ears dropped, and her eye grew wide. “But I didn’t mean to do it, I was just so hungry, and she tried taking it away from me” A snort came from the old kerl. “It doesn’t matter, man will blame other’s for their own foolish mistakes. So, you better get out of there, or you’ll not last much longer.” Zwi turned to look at the house, her heart racing faster and faster, thinking of the man coming out of the house for her. But how do I get out?” she asked turning back to her friend, but he had already started trotting away. With out turning his head to look at her he called “You’re a smart girl, you’ll figure something out.”
This put Zwi in a panic. “No wait, you have to help me!” she cried. She tried to jump the bars, but despite her long strong legs she missed, and ended up ramming her head into the bars. Her ead hurt, but there was no time to sulk about it. Time was running out, she had to get out of there, but how. She tried digging a hole , but the bars were too deep and she didn’t have the time. She scanned the area looking for anything that could help her. That’s when she spotted it. Near the house there was the stump of an old tree, it was tall enough to give her a good enough boot to jump over the bars, and short enough that she could jump onto it with a running start.
With a deep breath Zwi began her escape attempt, running as fast as she ever had, with the hopes of leaping over the large bars that kept her captive. She pushed her self harder as she neared the stump, and with all the power she could muster she leaped off the ground landing on top of the stump, only the spring once again. This jump was harder since she not only had to leap high enough over the fence, but she had to clear the gap between the stump and the fence. Time seemed to almost stop as she flew through the air, she glanced at the house to see a group of angry people trying to exit threw the back door, suddenly awestruck by the sight of the creature flying threw the air as she was. She looked back to see she was just passing over the top of the bars and coming down fast, she was afraid she wasn’t doing to make it, and she braced for an impacted. But she did make it most of the way, her hind foot just barley clipping the top of the bars, which put of off balance and she fell to the ground with a hard thud.
Zwi woke with a start, her heart pounding, head spinning from one direction to the next looking about. It was only morning and the day was already hot. She looked around to see she was in a cave, one she had spent the night in. It was a dream, a bad memory of her past that woke her. She had traveled very far since that day, and over a whole season had passed. Zwi had traveled for a long time, and finally was approaching what she hoped to be the end of her journey, the only place that she knew other then the enclosure she has grew up in. The land she was told about so many time from the only other varg she ever knew. She rose to her paws and stretched her body, relieving herself of the stiffness of sleep.
Stepping out into the light of the morning, her golden coat sinning like the morning sun. She yawned once, and looked out over the land she was about to descend into. Was this really the end of her journey, or was it just the begging? What life had in store for her now, she couldn’t even imagine.

Color enchanted the trees and their bushes of armed weeds standing at their roots. Archita enjoyed the lonely morning. Waiting for something stupid to come trotting along, then have her catch it for food. It was going to become part of a daily routine, being lazy. One side of her wanted to run about and hunt down little fluffy creatures that some enjoy, bunnies, small deer. She found that creatures bigger than her were allot harder to catch onto. But what was worse, was when humans were watching her hunt down her meal. Disturbing and looking through black glasses and screens. Then sometimes they would shoot at her. Most of all, they would leave cages out at night for her to walk into, chicken cages, full of meat. Once she had walked into one, then walked right out. It didn't even work. But once there was a snare and she was shot at, but not harmed as always. The most horrific part was when she followed the humans to their little homes, and besides their houses. There stood tall cages. Full of trees and varg that looked like her and others she had seen before. This only caused her to remember what her past looked like. A cage, but would these humans let those varg go this time?
"I should go back to the humans, Then I'll have someone to feed me a decent meal."
And keep you in a kennel for the rest of your life? You've already wasted your childhood and I can't stand living with you in another moment of captivity! Archita looked around her. It was a perfect circle of trees, but nothing in the center. She was in the center. Did this mean another sort of trap, or was she already in a cage. Maybe it meant for her to start moving, but she couldn't listen to how her friend inside pushed her around. A slow cry came from the woods behind her. She turned around, that meant something was prey now. Now Archita could stop in for a little food. She stood up and stretched out her ash colored legs. "Ah, now soon it will be nighttime, because I do nothing each day, so it makes everything go painfully slow, and fast at the same time!" The feamme spoke in first person trying to Optimist up her day. Whats with you, finally feeling good about yourself? Can't you notice that your stomach has sunk in a inch this year? And don't you notice that your cheek bones on your face stick out like wings? "Freakin' pessimist!!!" Archita howled at the voice.
She stalked the woods like a shadow. Not to be seen the yowling of pain entertaining her on her way there. When she had reached the noises, she hesitated, wondering if this was a animal or a human. Hard to tell the sounds were too high pitched. But still she decided to risk her life in foods way. When her body appeared, a deer stood with its tiny ankle in a human jaw snapper. A trap, at least it was only a deer stuck in it, or breakfast for her. She walked closer, then with quick movement ripped it open hungrily. By the time she was chewing on meat, the doe was obviously dead. Now something that was fresh. It was a good meal until a bullet was sinking into the ground beside her. Humans coming to take what was left of her meal. With a sigh, she finished lapping up blood, then trotted away from the victims. The meat was probably poisoned, because Archita felt pretty crappy after wards.
"Crap."
She expressed herself. When she was still running it grew boring and tiring and the humans weren't following her. Licking her maw, she sat down and licked down her long gray stockings. Then her paws. Using her neck she could reach the tops of her ribs. Feeling how the red thoughts of evil ran from her insides, into her hearts and over the lumps of her ribcage, into her head. Are you trying to calm me by running your tongue down my throat? I have to absorb all your poison and pain like a sponge, and here you are grooming yourself. All I have for comfort is what horrible is happening today! "Well I'm sorry to hear that." Archita said calmly. Feeling stiff as she started to move again. Her legs like twigs that were to break. Feeling as dry as bark, and the bubbling blood of the deer in her stomach. Sick was it. That was all. Color flooded her eyes when another varg came into view. One she had never seen before. What was this. Her body remained dry and unnoticed at the moment. This post is nothing compared to yours, HAHAHAHA

(OOC: don’t worry about it. Most of my post was back-story any way, XP)
Fenris burned high in the sky, sharing his heat with the world. But at time its seemed like too much, the day grew hotter as he traveled higher into the sky. ‘It’s so hot,’ Zwi panted to herself as she trotted down the mountain, tail erect waving like a flag behind her, displaying her pride. ‘Oh well, I guess even a God needs to drink.’ Her statement referring to the heat drawing water from the earth. Zwi couldn’t take the head any more, she had to find some water and fast, her chest heaved with her heavy panting, and her tongue bounced with every step. Every now and then she would have to retract it, to keep it from drying out, but it wasn’t long before it was bouncing around again.
Her ears twitched back and forth listening for a sound that would lead here to a creak or a river, anything wet. Any puddles that may have once held water had all dried up, making the terrain rough, and harder to travel. She stopped every now and then to sniff the air, she couldn’t yet hear water but maybe she could smell it. By the time she caught the sound of a nearby creak, Fenris had reason noticeably higher in the sky. Her ears twitched this way and that trying to figure out exactly with direction the sound was coming from, and when she finally found it she took off running.
Zwi’s movements were so swift and smooth, It looked more like she was floating along the ground then it looked like she was running. The body was sleek, her coat was smooth, her legs long and powerful. She was build for running, and it was what she loved to do. It was the one thing that made her life in captivity so hard. She held her head high, and closed her eyes, letting the wind rush across her face and dance through her fur. Some times she pictured her self as a bird flying threw the sky, miles off the ground, starring down at the world below. What did the land look like from that far up? She couldn’t help but wonder. She thought back to the stories she was told about the varg Larka, who had the sight and the ability to see the world through a bird’s eyes. Zwi knew the horrible fate the fae had to suffer, but she couldn’t help but envy her. Zwi would do any thing to have that feeling, to see those sights. When she opened her eyes a gain, Zwi was approaching a large rock. The varg increased her speed, running right for it, and when she came close enough that was it. Just like the day she escaped from her prison, she leaped into the air, up onto the large rock, and then another great leap off. She launched herself forward with her powerful legs soaring threw the sky like a bird, just much closer to the ground.
But her feet didn’t hit the ground as she came falling back to earth, they hit something much softer, much more giving, and much more wet. She had found the water she was looking for, and had jumped right into it. It was a slow part of the river, were the water gathered almost like a lake. The water didn’t rush, it stood still as could be. Surfacing from the depths, Zwi kicked her legs, propelling herself back to the shore. A normal varg would fear water, and even though she knew the story of what happens to a varg who dies in water, the cool liquid never seemed to bother her. Once she reached the shore she climbed out and shook her body dry of the water, the force of her swing pulled the water from her fur sending it flying into the air in little bits, shining in the noon sun. The cool water felt good on her body but she didn’t wan to stay wet all day. Lapping up all she could from the pool, Zwi decided it was best to keep traveling, and resumed her journey down the mountain.

When Archita first smelt the other varg, she hadn't been very far from it. Now the other female was clearly in sight. Archita decided to play a game. She hadn't had fun in a while. Getting down in the crisp dry dirt. She crawled on her belly towards the mysterious creature. But sooner than she had expected, the other varg was trotting away from the spot she had arose. Groaning, Archita moved back up on her paws. Taking a rocky trail close to where the other varg moved. The stones were hot under her feet, so she moved quickly. Suddenly the female stopped, sniffed the air. Archita froze carefully. Wanting to remove her feet from the steaming rock Fenris had burnt.
When the stranger started moving again, she followed. Just keeping behind the trees and overgrown weeds. The mountains were very steep, she thought she might tumble and fall into sight. But she didn't. As Archita watched the other varg was constantly stopping to sniff the air, she wondered if she smelt her yet. With everything being so stiff and dry, Archita was growing tired of following the female. Psssst. This is great, look theres a puddle in front of us, it would be good if you would actually refresh your parched BONES! "Shut!" She hushed the voice. Leaning down to take a sip, but then in surprise looked up to see the female in the air barreling towards her. In a yelp of surprise Archita retreated behind a tall decaying stump. The stranger hadn't seen her yet, and was now continuing down the mountains. Archita breathed in relief. Glad to be hidden. She stepped out, the female was out of veiw. But she sipped and guzzled out of the water, then followed the female's scent. This is boring! You could do this all day! Look I'm already getting a headache from this global warming! Can't you just say hi and get back to relaxing like you were before you had to stalk down a complete stranger???
"I said be-"
Archita couldn't finish. A holly bush had whacked her in the head and mouth. Stumbling blindly, she rolled downhill in pain. When her eyes reopened, she was still doing a summer-salt. Almost running into the other female. But she stretched her legs out and dodged her, moving in her path and squatting in a attack position in case the other varg was alarmed. Pant, and sucking down air, she looked up warily at the pale she-wolf. Archita might of been a little bit older, but they looked the same age. Her tongue floated from side to side of her face. Her nostrils flared and she spoke. "Welcome to the Mountains." She didn't have anything else to say, but stayed in position in case.

Zwi had finished her dip and drink, and decided to return to her descend of the mountain. However, she didn’t make it very far before she heard a strange noise. She looked to her side just in time to see a huge ball of red, cream, and black colored fur, come tumbling out of the brush down a steep slope right for her. The large ball would have easily run over any other varg. but thanks to Zwi’s abnormally quick reflexes, she was able to jump out of the way just in time, her front paws just barley grazing the ball’s fur. What in the name of Tor was that? She wondered, watching the ball roll a little farther before coming to a stop. She sniffed a little wondering if she could sent what it was, her paws taking her closer little by little, but then…
Zwi jumped back with a start when the strange bal of fur started to move, and then with each movement she took a step back, giving herself a good distance to start running if she needed too. She thought she could hear noises, which spooked her even more. A few movements later however, she realized the thing was actually another varg. Zwi was so confused. Why would a varg be rolling down a hill in suck a manner. One ear stood strait while another one cocked itself to the side, along with her head, as she just stared at the wolf. What should she do now?
The other varg, suddenly very alert took an attack position, Zwi immediately went alert. Standing on her toes, tail erect, ears forward, chest out. Was this other varg going to attack her? “Welcome to the mountains” The other varg spoke, not letting up her positioning.
Zwi stopped and thought about the situation. The was a phrase vargs would use in this position, what was it? “Tro-” she started to saw but then suddenly stopped herself. No, that was only for when you were in a packs territory, and surely no varg made their pack in a land such as this. Unable to think of any thing else to say, she merely said. “thank you?” Her tone questioning, she wasn’t really sure if she was welcomed by this varg. Whatever the case, time was passing and she had wanted to get down the mountain by nightfall. “Well, I’ll be going” she was a little uneasy as she passed by the varg, not knowing if she might attack, so she kept her eyes one her as she passed, and didn’t turn away until she started trotting down the mountain again. But suddenly Zwi turned around, and started trotting back. What an I doing this varg may know of the valley below.
Zwi didn’t come always the way back, instead she came to a stop part way there and shouted to the other varg. “I’m traveling t the valley at the base of this mountain. Do you know anything of it? What’s it like? Are there a lot of packs? I would like to know anything you could tell me” She stood and waited for the varg to reply.
((OOC: I worte this in a hurry before work, so I didn't get to proof read it, I hope every thing is okay.))

the little varg moved slowly down the slope, careful to keep downwind of the scrawny rabbit. faolan didn't care that it was scrawny, it was food and she hadn't eaten in suns. suddenly, a memory hit her with the force of a falling mountain. "keep low to the ground, and watch both your prey and your feet. becareful not to snap any twigs or stumle over rocks and make noise. stay downwind. and lannie, listen to your all-knowing brother or you'll run for your dinner." faolan looked up at her brother "ryain, you've told me a gillion times i think i know what im doing. besides, i got the bestest teacher in the whole world. and don't call me lannie." faolan shook herself bitterly yeah, ryain aint' here ta teach ya anymore, neither is mum or da so get over it. that little anti-conscious got really annoying after awhile. she shook herself again and forced herself to focus on the rabbit. she stalked it to the edge of the small group of bushes ended, and her covering was gone. she paused, still hidden in shadows, then pushed herself off the ground, racing towards her dinner. her jaws closed around its neck and it died instantly. she picked it up proudly and decided it was best not to eat it out in the open and started to take it to her current home, an old fox den. but she suddenly froze as she walked out of a clump of trees and heard “I’m traveling to the valley at the base of this mountain. Do you know anything of it? What’s it like? Are there a lot of packs? I would like to know anything you could tell me.” she slowly crept out a bit more and saw a varg in an attack position, and another that was a couple branch lengths away that seemed to be looking over her shoulder. faolan knew it was too late to walk away unnoticed, so she kept perfectly still crouched down on her belly, and waited to see what happened

Archita focused into the females eyes. Who was she? "Thanks." This was what she said and It took Archita a long time to figure it out. With her mouth all the way open she cackled a laugh. Then continued spitting giggles. Why is that funny? You gave her simple advice and she was thanking you for it nicely. Oh give it up you know its funny. Its better than her just going up and causing trouble thats what I expected her to do! Archita looked to go talk to the fae again but in no time she was gone. Had vanished and from the side of her eye could see something black stalking in the bushes. She had escaped. And there was no finding her in her view right now. All she could see were trees this way and that and suddenly it seemed like a really lonely place to be. Kind of scary for her.
Left her there as she was unaware. This was ok. She trotted and ran howling to the cold blue sky and looking for the path the varg had left on. No sign of her. She felt extremely lonely and weird. What if they sneak up on her. And eat her for lunch, teach her a good lesson for stalking them. From the side of her Eyeris and pupils, again there was a scent of something lurking in the bushes. A new scent. It was hard to tell if it was the gold one or another. It seemed to be a female. But hard to tell. Her nose wiggled on her muzzle. She snarled for a little while in wonder. How many were there? The crouched figure was still as a stone. And it made Archita freaked out to go over there. Go over there RIGHT now. How are you supposed to discover what it there if you don't even try? Are you scared of it? Than why don't I just go and see?
Archita looked both directions as if crossing a road. Then made her way for the figure. Who thinks they can hide so easily from ME? She would rip them into pieces! She could taste danger just thinking about it. Come closer, closer, closer, she thought. Stop trying to control me Idiot! It was too late now, now she was leaning over the figure and it was clear seeing that it was not the first figure. It was strange. And Archita busted away from that place. Soon coming across the gold female she was looking for. "Come back! I was looking for you! You didn't have to leave so fast!" Archita scolded her. "Now I am Archita and who are you?" She asked intent to hear the new name.

Golden eyes darted side to side. That’s strange, she was just there. Did she run off when I did? The tawny fae wondered to her self. She only had her back turned for a moment, would the varg really have taken off the moment she did? Zwi shook her head. No worries, there were bound to be other varg about. She had already meet two of them, he thoughts took her back to days previous, when she had come across two varg, and a strange scent. Now is not the time to reminisce she decided, shaking the thoughts from her head. Now is the time to travel to the valley. reminding herself of her journey. She couldn’t help but thinking about the possibilities that lay ahead, the sights she might see. After all, the forest she had traveled through to get here was wonderful, was that the peak of this lands beauty, or was it just the beginning? What ever it was, she was eager to get there. Her whole body itched to run, ached for it, legs twitching every other step, hoping her mind to decide to let her body take over. She couldn’t ignore her body’s request any long…
At that moment, as she reared to take off full speed, and light breeze passed by her nose, bringing with it a very familiar smell. Zwi suddenly fell to a sitting position. The distraction on the breeze caught her off guard, and had forgotten to stop leaning back and to start going foreword. What was it with this place? The wind was filled with so many smells, and it always had to find her nose at the strangest of moments. Could that be…? No, the pup from the woods wouldn’t have been able to follow her all this way with out her knowing could she? It was more likely that their paths had just happened to cross again. But what were the chances of that? Probably pretty high. Zwi really hadn’t gone that far since their meeting, and if the pups leg was still messed form her fall, then she probably hadn’t gone very far either. If the pups leg was still hurt, perhaps Zwi should go check on her, make sure she wasn’t hungry or hurt worse.
Zwi started again, only rather then a full out run, she decided a lazy trot would work better. She hadn’t gone far, when there was suddenly a calling for her. She turned to see the varg from earlier trotting after her. After catching up she introduced her self. She was no longer defensive or angry, she seemed to be in a very good mood actually. She was a bit shocked by the red fae’s words. “But I didn’t run off, well, not completely. I turned to talk to you again, but you were gone.” she replied, cocked to the side just a bit. Not that it really mattered who ran off first.“I’m Zwi” she said proudly, suddenly remembering she hadn’t given the fae her name yet. “And,” She began again “I’m looking for a friend of mine now. I just caught her scent on the wind. She’s a small black pup, I don’t suppose you might have seen her looking for me?” She hoped she had, it would save her the time of looking, and the worry of what might have happened to the little pup, being so accident prone.
((Archita: Its okay, I know that life sometimes gets in the way of things. It was no problem having to wait for you to get back. Sorry about the bad post, I‘ve forgotten what I was doing in this thread, so my inspiration was a little off. ))

I'm gonna do a mini post until Faolan reply s, PMed her but didn't hear back. Good luck if your out there Faolan, we'll wait for ya!}
Archita had found her. She wanted to weep at Zwi's feet. (That was her name right?) Puffing up air in her chest, she stood tall and looked back over at Zwi. She was looking for her friend right?
"Looking for your buddy? Does that happen to be the little thing I was Running AWAY from?"
She turned around quickly, checking the sides to see if anyone was following them. "I swear I saw someone in the bush over there but I thought it was a....bea-... bird." She said, remembering the size of the creature. That was a cub? Aw darn! Thats tiny! Archita thought that she was small. She managed to puff up her chest again like some sort of cat.
"So Zwi, what are you doing on MY moutains? Huh? Huh? I bet you aren't here just because of some small black thing sitting in a bush that you call your Friend."
She said aloud, remembering to speak as if she was in charge. Thats what she had taught herself when she was little. But Archita was told that she should act like this to a scary varg. Not someone so softly nice like Zwi. She didn't even think Zwi thought Archita was scary. That would change.
"You don't really want to be talking to me right now do you? You'd rather go find your friend."
She hissed at the ground now. Remembering how Zwi had been on the move and she most likely didn't care about some small cub she happened to trip over. Literally, Archtia had actually tripped over her. Zwi was out here for a reason, Archita wasn't. This made her jealous" only because she had nothing to do with her life. This fae did.
"I have a great Idea," Archita yelled to the clouds. "I can help you find your buddy, again." She looked back down at Zwi for an answer.
[[Once again, Faolan, you can post whenever you want. I just posted again because I don't want this thread to die again. Srry 4 stealing your turn, and Zwi you don't have to reply yet if you don't want too. Bye bye!]]

ooc- im sorry about the wait. meh lap top died. it was old, and we held a lovely service for it. didn't help me much though... o.o?
Faolan sat quietly in the bushes, in a bit of a shock. She’d been hiding, rather unaware that the vargs she’d been hiding from were right on top of her. She felt something stumble over her back, and all she saw was a ball of flailing red, cream, and black limbs. A gust of wind brought the faes scent to her, along with a much more familiar scent.
Zwi, she thought. The varg that looked like a herla. She was about to come out, but the new varg looked rather tense. She said something to Zwi, and was gone. Zwi got a confused look, and started trotting down the hill. Faolan stood and shook herself, about to open her tiny maw to make it known she was there. She wasn’t about to sneak up on anyone. But the red fae returned, and she heard Zwi and the stranger discussing her.
She slowly walked down the slope, using puppies greeting yips, for she couldn’t yet howl, alerting them to her presence. She gathered up speed and was soon running, as well as she could. Her leg, which she’d sprain just before she meet Zwi, still hurt her, but the pain was mostly gone now , and ran headlong into Zwi. Shaking her head, she backed up a few paces. “Hello Zwi, may I ask how you are doing, and what you doing here?” she asked, her expression curios, and then irritated as her infernal ear flopped into her face.
Then she remembered herself. She turned to the red varg. “Hello, I am Faolan. I’m sorry you thought I was stalking you, I just didn’t know if you were nice or not. I was a bit scared.” She said in her quiet, lilting voice. “And I’m sorry I tripped you, I knew there was someone in the area, but I didn’t know you were right there.” the insides of her ears turned a fire red in her embarrassment.
Quietly favouring her leg, she sat down, a relived expression on her face. She remembered her rabbit, but she didn’t want to go get it. It could wait.

((uuuhg, sorry for the horrible shortness, I'm out of practice.))
High pitched yips and calls took Zwi’s attention away from the red fea before her and up the slop a little to see an ebon ball of fur come running down the slope heading right for her, knocking into her legs with a bit of a smack. The pup then looked up at her with a greeting, and a flopping ear. The collision didn’t hurt or move Zwi form her position at all, but the contact seemed weird. She wasn’t used to contact, but she wasn’t about to scold the pup for it. She was after all, just a pup, and it wasn’t her place to be telling her what to do and how to act.
“I should be asking how you are doing!” she said a little stern and more motherly then she knew she could. “You seem to still be favoring that leg some. Are you alight? Eating okay?” she sounded more concerned then she meant to, but she felt a little more protective of the pup with this stranger varg here. As the ebon fae looked to the russet one and spoke, Zwi kept quiet just watching, waiting for any sort of false move Archita might make. But what could she do about it? Her Jaws weren’t strong enough to put up Faolan and run, the pup was too big for that any way. She was sure to think of something though, even if it was to fight. But she was hopeful that it wouldn’t come to that, this meeting would be a peaceful one.
