Frostpool panted loudly as she pranced through the open meadow. She was sad for Koran's alpha had most recently been killed. She didn't know him personally, but she was a loyal member of Koran. All of Koran had been saddened.
Even though she didn't know them, she despised the Balkar for what they did. If there were anything to begin in Koran, she would most definitely take part in it.
Frost stop letting her thoughts drift and concentrated on where she was going. She had accidentally wandered away from Koran. Actually, far, far away. She had been like that lately. Forgetful. Not paying attention. She has no idea what's going wrong with her.
She looked up at the clouds and imagined little pictures forming in the clouds. She saw butterflies, wolves, trees, and other things. She laughed as she saw this. She hadn't had fun in a long, long time. Now all she wanted was the opposite of fun: alone time.
She laid down and tried not to die of heat stroke in the sweltering heat. She closed her eyes and laid down, trying to sleep.

Toes stretched through grass and dirt, letting the sunrays warm her pale pelt. The she wolf opened her jowls wide, her tongue curling and a sigh leaving her lips as she yawned in the lazy day. Readjusting her body in a laying position, Leif admired the clear blue of the sky above, puffy white clouds drifted slowly across the canvas as Fenris looked on at all the splendor of the universe he and Tor had created. It was a lovely day, not too warm with the light breeze, and the insects mulling about weren’t too bothersome either.
The current events of this place were unbeknownst to her, so any ill-happenings were almost like far off cries too distant to hear or help. Such was the life of a Kerl though, disconnected from the humdrum of living in a pack where one is well informed. Disconnected from anything that could bring word of happenings, and without the power to talk to the Lera or understand their languages just made it that much more impossible. But Leif wasn’t here to remain a Kerl forever. She had her motives, finding a family that she might join. She would make quite the Nurse if given the chance, but to her knowledge there were no packs to have stumbled upon – at least not yet.
She stood, then, and padded slowly to a small crook that wound its way through the meadow, dipping her muzzle into the cool waters she drank till her dry throat was parched. Taking in a breath she could feel the difference the soothing water had made, her windpipes seemed more clear now and the air didn’t drag against the inside of her larynx. She took a moment to look around now, the large fae’s bushy brown ears pricking. She could spy a white form in the grass not too far off – curious she tilted her head and gave a little announcement bark to let the other know she was there too.

Frost jumped at a bark from another fae not too far off. The other fae was beautiful. Frost smiled at the other fae and got up and approached her.
"Greetings. My name is Frostpool." Frost dipped her head in respect. "I come from Koran, quite a noble pack indeed. I have just wandered off, as I do all the time. May I ask whom I'm speaking too?"
Frost smiled again and studied the other fae. She was beautiful, again, and she was about Frost's size. The fae seemed nice, but looks can be deceiving. Frost had learned that the hard way. But, she would find out soon enough.

Leif inclined her head and dipped her muzzle down in greetings. “Good day and afternoon to you, Frostpool of noble Koran. I am Leif, with allegiance to none.,, she introduced herself kindly, brown audits twitching to the fae before her who was smaller in stature. A gentle smile played across her muzzle as the edges of her black lips were pulled up delicately. “Wandering is indeed a wonderful pastime, do you agree?,, She asked, inclining her head to the left as she waited for a reply from the lovely little wolf before her – of course most wolves were little compared to her, being so large and all, which was strange for a fae. The world around them sang as the two stood in the middle of the meadow. Wind tousled the pelts and whispered sweet nothings to the trees in the distance, while the cicadas sang their song among the bees and birds above. It was a picturesque day.

Frost smiled at the big fae beside her. Leif asked her an interesting question, and Frost thought of an interesting answer that took some time.
"Well, Leif, it depends. Wandering is for those who can allow their souls, hearts, and minds to wander. You never really technically wander, because you have to have an idea of where you want to stop wandering or where you are wandering to...Do you agree? But, for me, yes, it is a wonderful pasttime. I enjoy seeing new things that a boring varg would never see in a lifetime."
Frost laughed and shook herself, for she suddenly felt tired. The sun was slowly setting to the west, and Frost couldn't wait to head back to Koran and get her sleep. She was very drowsy and wanted to lay down, but she didn't, for she knew it was rude to do so.

“No, I disagree, for you seem to think that wandering is supposed to be aimless and random, but indeed it is only as limited as the one who walks. Wandering is not as technical and black and white as you seem to think it.,, Her tail swished lazily, wandering was a mode of exploration, it indeed had great purpose to it. It was a chance to clear the mind, to waste some time, to lose another’s tracks. This reminded her that the moon was almost full and time was wearing thin. She would need to return to the river and find its end soon in order to meet with her sister. “You seem exhausted, have you traveled far from your pack?,, Leif inclined her head slightly, turning her kind face to meet her smaller companion’s – she didn’t look into the Varg’s eyes, for that could raise anger within another’s heart, and anger was something Leif did not contend with. Anger and hate were gross emotions that never sat well with the large and kindly fae. She was free of such hatefulness, so discrepancies and violence were out of her blood and out of her mind – even if she had been born to a pack of fury and abhorrence.
She was worn and wearied as well, such a long distance in such short time. It only occurred to her now though, when she was thinking of it, and a yawn reached her lips and stretched her mouth and tongue until it had passed and she shook her head to fight against the fatigue that was settling in her body.

"Yes, unfortunately, I have wandered far from my Koran friends. I still have a long way to go until I am at my homeland. But, no matter. I will find some place to rest, and then I will be on my way home again. Do you have somewhere that you need to go?"
Frost laid down and waited for a reply from her new-found friend. She thought the bigger fae varg had somewhere to go, but Frost wasn't that good at reading other vargs. Hopefully, after she finished her little meet and greet with Leif, she would be able to find some rest. Her body was stiff and sore, and she feared that she would fall asleep before she said farewell to Leif.
