//Amagao - open :D //
"Are you hung-ary? Are you hung-ary?" He said it soft and slow, and he crawled forward on his belly, scuffling through the warm sand, to keep the shiny black beetle between his big paws. It ambled lazily away from him over a little dune, unconcerned about the scrawny blond pup who fixed him with a curious silver stare. Midian, meanwhile, interpreted the beetle's movement as a rebellion, and he pushed some sand onto the bug with his nose. "No, stop movin'!" He said in a high, falsetto voice, obviously oblivious to the danger of calling attention to himself. "Stop movin' er I'll eat you," Midian warned as the bug slowly pushed aside the grains of sand and emerged from its small burial mound. The cub was disappointed to see the bug ignore his warning, and felt a little panicked that he might actually have to eat it. Eww, he thought, wrinkling his nose. But it might taste gooder.
"I'mma count ta three, and you better stop movin' bug! One... two... two and half..." He frowned, leaned over, and snapped the beetle up in his dark velveteen-brown jaws. Along with a mouthful of sand! Which, in all reality, Midian didn't particularly mind. He swallowed the bite - sand and all - in a very dry gulp. He smacked his lips, squished his eyes, and folded his ears back against his head. "Sandy," he commented happily, and wagged his tail. "Wait'll I tell the gurls," he said a little mischievously. He grinned.
The cub grunted, and slowly rolled himself onto his paws. The warm afternoon sun beat down against his own sandy-colored coat, but a cool breeze kept him from feeling the brunt of Fenris' heat. So, without a pause of consideration nor a thought of worry, the four month old cub quickly wandered away from his sandy nest and into the snowy meadow, leaving wide and uncertain pawprints in his wake.

[ whoop (: ]
A trail of small paw prints could be traced through the crystalline blanket of snow. They looped this way and that and even occasionally retraced themselves. If you followed them long enough though you would find a rather amusing black pelted wolf, marching along obliviously. Amagao's eyes were focused very neatly on the icy crystals, and every now and then he'd turn and gaze at the messy little trail he'd created and grin. He moved with a very minimal amount of grace and coordination, and oftentimes would stumble over his own paws. However, these little setbacks only made the game more interesting, more fun. So far he'd managed to create a nice little pattern in the snow, and if one looked hard enough and took just a pinch of imagination you could almost make something out of the trail - a mess, maybe?
Glancing up another little dot caught his attention. Where it was supposed to be a white blanket there was another speck of color and although Amagao was entirely obsessed with the idea of spring he doubted that this was how it came about - with little patches of uncovered dirt popping up here and there like a bunch of daisies. Casting a proud glance back at his masterpiece Amagao darted toward the curious patch. With little leaps he made his way forward in a fashion somewhat similar to that of a frog - he didn't run, he pranced.
Aha. So his theory about patches of dirt randomly sprouting was proved correct. This here was no scrap of earth, it was another living breathing varg and as far as Amagao was concerned, a playmate. "Ahoy-ahoy there. Uh, whuts you doin'? He stopped and cocked his broad skull, gazing at the pup in gaiety. Well, mister. You're gonna be my friend and there ain't an if, and or but 'bout it. Mkay, now we've got that bit cleared up I'm Amagao. This here's the part where you tell me your name, stranger. A grin spread across his downy muzzle. Tottering closer towards the yet unnamed pup he stuck his wet nose into his fur and inhaled, then proceeded to inspect him. Completing a full three-sixty he grinned, "Yup, we kin be friends, don't worry.

Suddenly a bold and confident puppy voice disturbed his quiet walk through the snow, completely sending him into a moment of stunned silence. Midian watched as a black pelted cub padded right up to him as if they were already friends. Taken aback by this brash approach, and the fact that there was another puppy who wasn't a girl, Midian stood for a moment with wide bluish-silver eyes, trying to grasp this whole meeting thing. If he knew what a fish looked like, he might imagine that he looked very much like one right now. All that he could think of, though, was simply Uh-oh. Mama wasn't going to be very happy that he was talking to strangers.
Mama probably wasn't happy that he was out here alone either.
Midian actually thought about it for a moment, and then shrugged like he had seen the adults do. Granted, it looked more like his neck had just been eaten by his torso, but the effect was still the same. The Ge-Radian cub smiled his biggest, most impressive smile, and wagged his tail cheerfully.
"Aw-right. My name's Mid-yan. Butcha can call me bug. I just ate one." He conjured up a burp - a new trick he'd learned over the last few days - and sighed. Pretty impressive stuff. He leaned over and stuck his backside in the air as Amagao completed his inspection, and Midian wagged it tauntingly. "Betcha can't catch me! I'm the fastest wuf in the worl'." He took off like a shot; albeit a very weak shot. Like from a child's sling. Underwater. Against the current. In fact, he made it a whole three steps before he tripped on his own paws and tumbled into the grass. He hadn't quite grasped coordination yet; but the spirit was willing. Midian sat up and giggled. "Oops. That doesn't happen at home all the time."

Alright, so Midian here was friendly. That was spectacular. No impressive stunts needed to be done here. Amagao grinned back at the fair pup, if only to appear polite - he had no clue why he was smiling. He turned and casually cast a sidelong glance back at his companion and stretched. He flexed what underdeveloped muscles he had and made a show of yawning and showing his pearly canines. Yeah, Amagao had it going on, at least that's what he told himself. A little showing off was good every now and then, right?
"Well, then, my little friend. Bug will be your name and...well.. The sable pup mulled over what Midian had said, debating on whether or not he was telling the truth about eating the bug. "Boy that's just gross! And wicked amazing, buddy! What kind of bug, did it taste good or anything? Ew, your a nasty little guy, huh?" Amagao guffawed, turning back towards his friend and inspecting him closely. He ambled towards Midian's muzzle and studied it intently, just in case any bit of the bug remained. A little cloud of disappointment formed above him when he saw nothing.
"Yeah - pshaw - right, Bug. You're a funny thing, aren'tcha?" The little black dragga chuckled. Wait, Midian wasn't kidding. "Aw, c'mon. Now what rock have you been livin' under? Everyone knows no pup like you's gonna be the 'fastest wuf in da worl'! A pup like me's gonna be it!" Inhaling deeply Amagao rose to his full height and looked around in a very cheeky manner. He could see it now, Amagao as ruler of the world - the fastest, strongest varg in the lands. Yes, all this here would be his sooner or later, he was sure. When his attention returned to his newfound friend he managed to witness the failed attempt at flight.
Amagao, forgetting his daydreams of ruling the world, sprinted towards his fallen comrade. A grin washed over his face. However the future 'king' was also a tad bit ungainly, and hadn't quite mastered the art of stopping. As a last ditch attempt to avoid a full-flung collision with the self-titled Bug Amagao turned, which only succeeded in toppling him head over heals as his paws slid out from under his little body. "Yeah, an' neither does that...okay, it happens only sometimes. But, wait! Didja hear that?" Amagao's eyes widened and he rotated his body - which was still laying on the snowy earth - to stare in mock terror at Midian. "Invaders." The words were quietly spoken, and barely audible. A sly smile snaked across Amagao's jaws.

"A beetle," Midian replied, puffing out his chest proudly. Amagao waddled over to sniff his muzzle, and he held very still, watching his new friend with mischief. It was then he took off, quickly falling over himself in a matter of steps.
"Ow! Hey, watch it!" Midian yelped as Amagao tumbled over him, but his little pains were quickly forgotten. He grinned and shoved the other pup with his nose. "I didn't hear nothin. Your silly," and he half expected Amagao to use the moment to tackle him, but when no attack was forthcoming, the young Ge-Radian propped himself up on all four paws and swiveled his head this way and that, trying to hear whatever it was that had Amagao's attention. Frustratingly, there was nothing but the wind. And bugs. And birds. Just about every other sound was there. As a matter of fact, it could be any of those sounds to which the black pup was referring. Midian crinkled his forehead and frowned. "What -"
Invaders.
The word made Midian jump, and although he didn't know what invaders were, by Amagao's soft voice, he was sure it was something dangerous and fun. He grinned back at his friend and wagged his tail slowly. "Inva - doors," he breathed, trying and failing to keep his excitement contained. He suddenly looked around as if he expected these invaders to pop out any moment and gobble them up. "What d'they sound like?" He asked quietly, dropping his head for emphasis. If his parents were watching, he'd definitely look like he was plotting for some no good mischief. Which was just the way he liked it.

[ argh, no muse )-: ]
A shiver ran through Amagao's body, but a burst of excitement shot through him as he saw he had a willing participant in his little game. Righting himself the ebony pup glanced around as if seeking any intruders. He was seated on his meaty bum, and he curled himself inward as if attempting to make himself an impossibly small target. Scooting himself closer to Midian he couldn't stifle a giggle, and for a moment he was lost in a small fit of laughter.
Finding his composure once again Amagao managed to keep a straight face. His dark blue eyes widened in a somber albeit comical expression. "Y-you mean you haven't heard? Midian! That there's some dangerous info'mation you needs to be keeping yourself on top off all that stuff if you want to get smart and be a Dragga one day." He shook his head and gave another suspicious glance at the snowy land around them. Crystals clung to his furry coat, creating a myriad of minuscule stars on it. "The invaders are awesomely dangerous putnar, Midian. They sound like nothing and everything, and when they scream they're awful." Amagao shivered again and quickly looked away, not wanting to admit he had to no clue at all what these invaders sounded like.
Suddenly he leapt to his paws and then froze. His eyes returned to Midian and a he grinned. A commotion in the distance made him start, and he leapt past the fair pup so there was something in between him and the possible 'threat'. Realizing it was nothing he made little work of turning the fleeing into something much more valiant. "Midian! I though I saw them! Arrrgh, we have to, um, run! Retreat! Then we regroup and attack!" His heart began to pound and pump adrenaline into his system. With his little ungainly lope Amagao darted off towards a small stand of leaf-less bushes, glancing back only once to see if his buddy was following.

Swept up by the enormity of the situation as implied by his co-conspirator, Midian remained awestruck while his friend dutifully warned him about sharing information. The Ge-Radian nodded grimly as he listened. Then, they both cast a furtive glance across the meadow as if they were looking for monsters hiding in the banks of porcelain snow or behind clumps of faded grass. Midian felt his heart skip a beat as a rush of excitement flowed through his veins. He gasped and ducked his head, and Amagao began to describe the invaders. A shiver ran up and down Midian's spine. His lips split into a nervous grin like he was trying to brush off his sudden concern with bravado. However, as soon as his shadowy friend scrambled to his feet, Midian's smile instantly dissipated and was replaced with a stricken glance in every direction.
"What? What're you doing? What didja see?" He hastened to all four squaty legs and clumsy paws. He tried to smell the air like his parents, but could scent nothing. Or rather, he perceived almost everything but hardly knew from where or what those things were. Like a frightened rabbit, he hopped to Amagao's side and looked around. Greeted by the news that Amagao had in fact spied an invader, the young Ge-Radian swallowed dryly and cast his striking blue eyes timidly at the tarry pup beside him. Who promptly proceeded to run away. Midian furrowed his brow and his eyes grew wide with concern. Without a thought, he charged after Amagao as if Wolfbane itself was riding his tail. Within mere moments, the duo found themselves safely concealed behind a rather dingy pile of sticks. The butterscotch Varg pup looked sidelong at his friend, his own chest heaving, and a giant grin plastered all over. He couldn't wait for his breath to catch up with him. So, while he sucked in air with ever pause, Midian tried to comprehend the situation.
"Retreat? ... You mean, run away?" He shot out in laughing breath. "Where? Where are they, anyway? Can you still see them?" He stubbornly pushed aside a few dry twigs with his snout and shoved his whole head into the tiny bush. His tail anxiously bobbed against his legs, but though he glanced in every conceivable direction, he saw nothing. He wrinkled his nose in disappointment and contempt, and looked over his shoulder at Amagao. "I don't see anything.," he said. "Are you sure you saw one?" His light voice, high-pitched and innocent in youth, sounded unconvinced.
