///This takes place before Ayasha gives birth///
Home, or at least what might possibly still be home, was a mere day journey for the ebon fae. The weather was beginning to turn towards winter but there was still traveling weather to be had. The fae took her time making her way across the vast meadow. She still had a long ways to go and she wasn't merely carrying her own weight. Everyone has their secrets and Ayasha was no exception. What had started as a mere game of pleasure had turned out to be a game of far greater consequences. Though the consequences were debatable. Her dark muzzle protruded through the high grasses as she peered out into the open meadow. Everything was quiet and still.
"How foolish you have been. You let your heart fall for a mann and then you let your hormones finish off the deed and here you are." Ayasha scolded herself, reflecting on the poor decision making she had done, not that falling for Kaemon was a bad thing, but letting her heart be so ready might've been. Glancing skyward she could see the pale blue sky and the few clouds that littered the vast unbreaking horizon. At least the weather was decent for her return. It would be an entirely different story once she actually made it to Ge-rad. She had been lucky that she hadn't run into any problems. Even though she was carrying pups around in her belly, she had been fairing quite well on her journey.
Swiftly she broke from her cover and darted out into the open fields. Her long sleek legs carried her swiftly over the land as her muzzle searched for a sign of water. Her auds perked up and she came to a halt. Had there been a noise..? She bristled her hackles, but shook them loose to not pose a threat to whomever was nearby. She didn't want to be an interest either though and her thirst was pulling at her throat. Carefully she bent her muzzle down to lap at the cool liquid. Her auds remained alert and every muscle in her body was poised to flee or fight if needed.
