Just in case you didn't hear, since it had only been relesed in the U.S. so far I would like to inform everyone that the great Micheal Jackson died today.
Cause-Cardiac Failure(they think) Date- Jun 25, 2009 Time- around 5:33pm[US central time] age- 50
Guys, I think this is just amazing(in a sad way) almost as sad as when Elvis died, or when Steve Erwin was killed, Princess Diana, and the space shuttle Colubus fell and burst in the sky. Now its Micheal J. Its just shocking, and I don't think people even relise that these people could even die! Yes I know this man did do many wrong things, but we have to look at what he was before that.
Farrah Fawcett Died today also, if you don't know her, she is one of the main characters in the hit old time shows "Charlies Angels" Please pray for her too. For she was also a very important, loved person. See the sight at portal.tds.net/news/read.php?ps=1018&rip_id=%3CD99216D80%40news.ap.org%3E&_LT=HOME_LARSDCCI1_UNEWS To read more

Her name was actually Farrah Fawcett But yes, RIP to them both. I was shocked to hear about MJ actually, I didn't even know he'd been ill.

Yes Dakota, thx, Farrah Fawcett!
lol, actually, I heard that he had to cancel his latest tour, most think he over dosed his pills because he was 50 and he couldn't sing like he could when he was in...say his 20s, so he went into a big depression. but DON'T take my word for it, at the moment they are not even sure, it hasn't been released about how he died. They just say he had a heart attack or something to that affect, he wasn't breathing.

Woh! yes, I heard it on the radio, I almost thought they were lying!? I never thought of him dying! It is very sad, I loved his amazing song "Beat it"! Also I love Farrah too, my mother was a big fan of her, wow. I pray for them both.

I watched CNN when it happened. They announced his death at 4:33pm this afternoon (I live on the west coast of the U.S.) It's sad really, I mean, I didn't think anyone really thought it'd happen, until it suddenly did.
Immediately afterward, my roommate started singing "Ding Dong the Molester's Gone!" at the top of his lungs, so obviously he didn't care about MJ, but that kind of got me thinking about how much people when they think of Michael Jackson, will think of the Trials, and the Molestation charges. They'll think of the zany antics and how he seemed disturbed holding his infant son over a balcony. Right now, I think everyone needs to remember him for what he was. Sure, he was comic relief on South Park, and he definitely made the news a lot (for better or for worse) in his later years, but before all that he was a wonderful entertainer, and I think that's what we should remember him as. Nothing more, Nothing less.
My heart goes out to the families of both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. I'm sure both families are grieving heavily tonight, and my prayers are with them both. ~*Fiory

I heard about it on the Radio this morning. Everybody in my school was talking about it, and some people were kinda happy that he'd snuffed it, but others weren't. I know he did some bad stuff, but so does everybody. I was stunned to hear that he'd snuffed it, 'cos, like Talar said, people don't really think that these people die. Sorry to hear about Farrah Fawcett, as well. My mum told me about her dying. Anyway, sad to hear that they have died.

I have to agree with wolfbane's remark personally. I mean, yes, it is sad when someone dies; I'm not denying that. But think of all the things that MJ done in his lifetime (and I'm not on about the music side of it). He was a very disturbed individual, and definately had issues involving himself and children. In one way, I am sad he's gone, but in all fairness, I'm also glad - it means that there will be no more chaos involving children and MJ, and it will stop becomng the topic of drunken conversations and debates. So I'll slide in my 2 cents and say RIP, but I'm not entirely sure if I'll miss him or not.
