ooc- eh, sorry its so short. didn't really give out much to work with
The low, gentle hum of crickets filled the night air like a symphony, with high and low notes, dissonance and consonance, movements slowly transitioning from one to the next. No one in their right mind should be up at this hour, but the newest Deor member was restless. And worried. Faolan had doubts if she would be a good pack member. She wasn’t very social. Other vargs made her nervous. But she had been so lonely, and she would sometimes catch herself in imaginary conversations with herself. She’d craved company.
But she didn’t think she was important enough, or special enough to be a pack wolf. She’d thought they would laugh in her face and turn her away, or worse. But when she came to Deor, Chalos Autumn had been so kind, and had even given her a job. She was a scout, of all things! What would happen if the other wolves didn’t like her? Would she be thrown out? She sighed. She didn’t know anyone here. She threw her head up and gave a long, soft, sad cry. Lannie gazed at the stars, picking out her favorite shapes among the jet black sky.
A vague grayish light was set low in the east, and Lannie yawned. She settled down in the soft grass, stretching like a cat, eyes half closed. The tree’s branches stretched out overhead, creating ghostly shadows, like a maze on the ground, which was still warm from the heat of yesterday’s sun. She wanted rather badly to rest and perhaps sleep before the sun came all the way and she would start her first day as a Deorian wolf. But she shook her head, and forced herself off the ground. She wanted to get a good start, and maybe she could begin to get a feel for the land, go around the pack borders and such. She might even meet someone…

Soft pawsteps fell upon the Deorian land as she walked along the packs land, shining blue eyes looked around taking in the wonderful sights of summer. Though the heat could be a bother she really didn't mind it, things could be a lot worse then just the heat though nights like these brought the wonderful breeze to cool off the lands until the sun rose again and gave its bright, fiery roar, the young healer loved her home, it had been almost a year since she'd come into the warm and welcoming pack of Deor, to take on the role of healer and she did her job well...when needed, she had been lead to speak with the dragga by her close friend and once accepted their friendship seemed to blossom...but he was a rare sight now and she needed to make other connections within the pack. Jonas stopped taking in the crickets song, looking up to the starry night she gave her tail a small wag thinking about her times as a shy, little, blue eyed whelp, when suddenly a sad call came to her fawn tipped ears, she didn't recognize the call and so moved forward to check it out, she'd heard there were new members among the ranks but hadn't had the chance to meet them. This would be her chance, a perfect opening to making more friends in Deor, she walked towards the call taking in any scent she could find until her eyes fell upon the wolf who'd made the call. Only a youngster it's self it seemed, she wagged her tail hoping to give off a friendly demeanor towards this fellow pack member, she approached with caution not wanting to startle them she gave a small bark to the wolf as she got closer "Hello there" her soft, warm vocals holding a welcoming tone to them.
(hope you don't mind me joining and sorry about the lameness...bit rusty with this character)

The young she-cub pranced around the pack bounderies excitedly exploring the area. Her shiny groomed coat shining in the sunlight. She ounced on grasshopers as they jumped out of the way. The sun was warm and the sky was clear, it w as a perfect day to her. A breeze blew making the loose fur on her coat whip around in the wind. She smiled as she walkedaround. She had never been this happy since her parents died. Her head held high as she looked up at the sky. She was so happy she had finally been accepted somewhere. She heard a howl, but kept going for there was much to see in the large pack territory.
She had a very cute face and was adored by all who saw her. Her sweet gentle eyes shining. She dance around and twirled in the grass going after another grasshopper. She giggled as she watched it hop away. She sat thre in the grass and sighed. Her head shot around taking in he suroundings. She got back up and loped away looking for any deor members to make friends with
She heard a noise tht sounded like footsteps. She bounded closerand heard some say Hello. She gasped excitedly and poped out of the trees to see a large varg. She looked up at the varg and wagged her tail. Her cute face gleaming with happiness. "Hi!" she cheered, her high childish soprano voice said. She giggled and kept smiling up at the varg. She heard another noise and say another wolf not to far ahead. She cocked her head to the side and squinted so she could make out the wolf's features.
Both wolves were cubs but large compared to her size. She was small but very fast and eneretic. She jumped from side to side hoping one of them would join in. She stopped for a moment forgetting to be polite to them. She stood straight and said, " Hello my name is Sandhya-But you can call me Shadow!" She blurted out excitedly.

ooc- so sorry about how late it is! i've had power-failure issues
The heaven’s appeared to be in the middle of a war of sorts, as the bright, warm sun began to rise and pushed the moon, cool and gentle, out of the way. Faolan sighed happily, and pushed her troubles out of her mind, as this was her favorite time of day. She heard a quiet snap, and spun around, ready to protect her new home. ‘You idiot! What if it’s a pack member? Even if it’s not, what can you do? You’re not a fighter, what the bugger can you do?’ She swished her tail nervously. All of the sudden, a gentle, quiet looking varg stepped out of the brush, and gave a gentle hello. It was obvious that she hadn't meant to scare her. It was her nerves.Faolan spoke in her quiet, lilting voice. “Hi… my name is Faolan, but some people call me Lannie. I’m the newest scout of Deor. Who ar…”
Lannie was interrupted by a tiny little pup that seemed to be very hyper and was jumping back and forth. Lannie had absolutely no clue what the little fae was doing. She seemed so excited that she forgot to give her name. Faolan took a quiet step back, unsure of what to do, when the black puppy stopped and introduced herself. “Hello, Shadow. My name’s Faolan.” Then the older fae realized what Shadow wanted. She’d never had much of a chance to play in the majority of her puppy-hood, so she shyly splayed her paws and aged her tail furiously. Then she remembered the older varg with blue eyes. She stood up and let the worlds flow softly from her muzzle. “I’m sorry. I meant to ask what you were called.”

The young varg wagged her tail happily back and forth. The fae said her name and pawed at her when she was done introducing herself. She smiled. A cool breeze blew through the section of the woods of which they were in. The leaves rustled in the trees making a calming sound. The fae turned to the other varg and asked her name and apologized. She accused herself in her head agrily for interupting them. Her face looked troubled as she did so.
'WHY IN THE WORLD DID I BURST OUT LIKE THAT!?!?' She yelled in her mind. 'I know how to be polite as my mother taught me, so why did I do it?' Her mind seemed to answer her. 'Because you haven't met anyone beside Talar and Fellack, so what are you to suspect.' The question from her mind was supposed to be unanswered but she did so anyway. 'I don't know, she probably thinks i'm a nut so far!' She sighed and shook her head at herself as she looked away. Nice first impression of Deor, she thougt sarcasticly.
She looked back up at the varg. She followed her line of sight over to the white varg that had been waiting. She stared at her eyes hoping meet her gaze and had apology all in her eyes. A tiny whine of apology slipped out. Her tail still wagged slowy behind her. Her eyes sweeped over the two varg memorizinng them so if she met more she would remember them. A small grin spread across her face as the excitement wore off. Another small breeze blew, she shuddered this time. She looked back up grateful that she had the chance to meet a member of the pack.
