The mist unfurled abreast the beastly mountains, their steep, and dangerous slopes fatal to ones whom dared to trespass upon them. Fortunately for one brave, young pale grey fae, she had decided to take a less dangerous path, and therefor made sure she lived for another sun.
Snowflame was a proud pack member of Koran, and dearly loved her pack. She loved the others in the pack, and felt like she was in a family. The gentle rhythm of her paws padding ever so daintly on the rocky, hard ground made her think of an old pack song her father had taught her, along with her brothers and dear mother. A bitter look appeared in her sharp, intelligent eyes, and Snowflame looked up sharply at the appearing sun, the mist starting to disappear.
Her banner was raised, for she walked alone in the lonesome mountains, their tall and grandeur peaks higher than the fluffy white clouds that the fae adored so much. Her tail wagged slightly, and she grinned in spite of herself. She gave a small howl, glad to have found peace with herself, and continued onwards.

((OOC: Hope its okay if I join you! Sorry this post is a little short, I think I'm a little rusty.))
Beautiful deep purples of night slowly faded to the light blues and golds of a the morning. A fae of matching gold rose, stretched, yawned and trotted out to meet the morning. After her meeting with an old friend, she was feeling much better about her self and situation, her tail was held height for the first time in a along time, and her golden orbs shined bright, sparkling in the early morning sun. She had wandered back into the mountains for a bit of soul searching, and perhaps for an easy exit back to the prison she had lived before. She was still unsure as to where to go now, but she was sure she would find her way some where. She would receive some sort of sign.
Color. She loved the color of spring. She stood out too much against the whites and grays of the winter. At least in spring her brilliant coat could blend into the colors of the flowers. She liked the idea of that. Sitting in a field, looking like some sort of exotic flower. She nodded her head slightly, and rose her tail higher. Her optimism was definitely returning. But fall. fall she was almost completely hidden. When the leaves were yellow she could lay amongst them and be almost completely invisible. She couldn’t wait for fall. her body twitched with excitement so much she had to stop and give herself a good shake from head to tail. The excitement all gathering in her paws, and before she knew it, was running wild in the morning light.

(( your post was great! And thanks for joining! ;D ))
The young fae's paws carried her onwards past the beautiful colours of the Spring. Brilliant golds, reds, oranges, greens, purples, and a whole array of faboulas colours that caught the attention of the fae's ice coloured eyes. She noticed that the plants seemed to get into all sorts of little crevices and gaps in the mountainside, which fascinated Snowflame, for she was curious at how plants came to do that.
Snowflame padded happily through the bright sunshine, soaking up the morning rays, a sparkle in her orbs. Her dainty steps left barely an incision on the ground, and you could hardly hear a sound. The sweet trill of a songbird made the pale grey fae pause and gaze around dreamily, her maw moving with an invisible rhythm, her eyes half closed, her tail wagging lazily.
This was the life. Enjoying a good day of weather, away from the troubles of her past, which had forced her to be more mature and responsible. Snowflame gave a weary sigh, and suddenly stiffened when she caught the scent of another Varg. Where were they? Just then, the young fae spotted a running, exotic looking varg, whom was well camouflaged in the sweeping flower. Snowflame realised that was why she couldn't see her first time, and crouched down, as if she were hunting, and quietly followed the varg, her nose guiding her when her eyes couldn't see above the plants.

((Sorry this is a little late, been busy with my new dog the past few days))
The sun beat down warmly against Zwi’s golden fur as she ran, warming her to the core. The few calligraphic patches of black becoming hotter then the rest. Just then something caught her eye. For a second she saw a flash of silver amongst the rainbow of colored flowers. A varg, darting down fast into the lush grasses. Hiding? But from what? Her most likely. Or perhaps not hiding. Hunting maybe? That wouldn’t surprise Zwi. It would not be the first time she was mistaken for a herla. If you only had sight, and no smell, it would be easy to mistake her long legs, slender body, and golden color for that of some sort of deer. This came more from younger vargs who would forget their nose and only use their eyes when hunting. If this were the case. Maybe Zwi could have a little fun?
Circling around and getting what she figured would be behind the varg, and to where the wind would be less likely to carry her scent, she crept slowly forward. Her flag raised, legs at the ready for the pounce. slowly she crept, closer and closer until she was able to see small patched of silver between the golds, reds, oranges and greens. She paused a moment, testing her stance, adjusting her paws so they were on the ground just right, one last twitch of her tail, and then she sprang…

((no problem, Zwi. )) The sunlight's almost unbearable heat sweltered the young fae, making her feel more sluggish and less wary. Forgetting to use her nose, she padded aimlessly after the camouflaged varg, her ice coloured orbs half closed as the light from the bright sun reflected upon them. Her muddied, yet dry, paws never ceased to pause, and her maw was ajar slightly, her hot, wet tongue flopping out.
Snowflame glanced up from the colourful flowers to gaze up at the sky. Small, high level clouds formed extrodinary shapes in the brilliant blue sky, in which the majestic peaks loomed in. The pale grey fae stared unblinkingly at the kings of the sky, her whole attention lost to the other varg. Her mind was completely focused on one mountain in particular, whom sparked a rash memory in her.
The fae frowned slightly, her banner drooping a notch, as she recalled her brother Freki once telling her that to fear is to live in this world. She now knew what he meant.
Suddenly, her instincts told her to move a bit to the left. Glancing down, the young varg gasped in surprise as she saw the powerful body of the camouflaged varg coming towards her. She did the only thing she could, and crouched down low onto the bug infested ground. She clamped her orbs shut and prayed silently to Tor and Fenris that this varg wasn't out to kill her.

Wind rushed by her face creating an almost musical ‘Wooo’ on her ears. She could see the silver varg, and realized that what she thought was a laying varg was actually a sitting one who possessed, and used, the ability to lay down, just barley avoiding her pounce. Her paws his the ground, only to lift off again as she bolted back into the grass and flowers, hoping the grass was thick enough to only show patches of her fur, or none at all. She wandered out far enough so that she could circle around the varg with out her color giving her away, but still able to see small glimpses of silver, letting her know the varg was still there.
“And what do we have her?” She asked, still circling. “A varg, lost and alone? Or are you hunting?” she drew closer, trying to make out the silver ones face in the gaps of the grass. “What might you be hunting? It wouldn’t be me is it? I can understand that though. You so see brown and long legs, think it’s herla, and a lone one too. What luck, it's easy pickings right?” she was adjusted now, able to see and read the varg’s face. She was much younger then she thought. Maybe she wasn’t here hunting. “I’m not herla though, I’m varg, I have tooth and claw just as you do.” The words came out with more of an edge then she meant for them to, but if they did their job she would avoid a fight. Not that that would be a problem with such a young varg. Zwi wasn’t the best fighter, but she could take her. And if she couldn’t… well her legs were long enough for a quick escape.
“Tell me,” she began, a little more sweetly then before, “What is your business here?”

A breeze tickled her as she scanned the grass for the camouflaged varg. Her intense eyes picked up movement, and followed it warily, her paws locked to the ground. Her pale fur gleamed and sparkled, revealing her well in the bountiful sweeping of the grass and flowers. Her muddied paws were dry and cracked, and she glanced at them before returning her gaze towards searching for the varg. Snowflame felt a stab of fear and she curled up on the ground, frightened. The worst thing of all was the waiting, to see what the stranger did next. . .
She jumped as she heard the wolf speak, and listened intently, too frightened to reply. Her words seemed to echo through her mind, rebounding and repeating frequently. She whimpered and gazed at the wolf, knowing now that it was a fae. Trembling, Snowflame rose to her paws and looked into the fae's orbs. " My business here is just to explore and learn." Snowflame looked at her as boldly as she could and waited, but for what, she was unsure.

((Sorry its so short! I couldn’t think of what all to say! And sorry it took me to long to reply! >.<))
Zwi chuckled to herself. It was very wrong of her to do this, but she was having fun. She was unsure if the fae could see her or not, but she didn’t care. She could see the fae, and at the moment that’s what mattered. She got some bitter sweet satisfaction watching the poor thing jump slightly as she spoke. No wonder some vargs fell to the side of evil. But that wasn’t Zwi, and she was thinking it was about time stop her little game. “To learn hmm? Well perhaps there is something I can teach you then.” She crouched low and to circl quickly around behind the fae, hoping she wouldn’t be able to follow her movements. “Like how to…” She was in position now, and crouched even lower, legs at the ready. “…Dodge!” Zwi leapt with all she had, unsure if the young fae would fall for her springing trick again. The few seconds she had of flight Zwi wondered what her paws would collide with next, would it be varg or ground?

Panic began to waft through her mind, and her legs started to tremble. What was this female varg doing? A small gasp of fright escaped her maw, and she panicked as she heard her talk, and cowered onto the grass low, shaking with fright. Was she mocking her? Anger began to seep into her, and before she knew it, she rose to her paws and scanned for the female angrily, a bitter look upon her pleasent face.
Snowflame growled low, but gasped as she saw the fae coming towards her. She wanted to dodge her, but she couldn't, so she tumbled to the ground, hurt, and started to whimper in pain. Her front right paw had landed heavily onto the ground, and the full body weight of herself had crushed it. Stunned, the pale fae whimpered on the grass, and didn't care what the female did to her.

Zwi’s paws hit the earth rather then the varg, the sliver fae ducking to avoid her pounce. At this point Zwi stoped, laughing to herself. This was enough teasing for now. She turned to the fae, still with a chuckle in her voice, head high, ears pricked and tail erect. “You should have seen your face! That was too funny!” he laughed. She was expecting the young fae to jump up, but when she stayed on the ground, Zwi’s posture drooped. The fae looked hurt. Zwi walked closer.
“Hey, are you okay?” worry filled her eyes. “I didn’t mean to hurt you, I was just playing.” She looked the fae over. One of her front legs seemed to be the problem. “Can you stand? Is there anything I can do to help?” Her head ducked and her ears fell back as she looked at the small fae before her.

Snowflame gazed up at the camouflaged female, and closed her eyes, embarrassed. Her paw tingled with pain, so she did not even attempt to put weight on it. Better to leave it alone, and not make it worse, she thought humourlessly. Snowflame cocked her head up as the female asked her if she was alright. She gave a short laugh of pain, and replied to the concerned fae, " I fell and seemed to crush my front paw here, I don't know if I will be able to walk on it for a while . .. though I don't think it's fatal," she joked at the end.
Wincing slightly, she shuffled into a better position and gazed up at the older faemme, " I'm not sure what you could do to help my paw," she admitted reluctantly, her tail wagging slightly, " but maybe just resting it for a while could help . . " she groaned in annoyance at her tender paw, and curled up, making sure she didn't rest her head upon the sore paw. She smiled at the other varg, then quickly asked, " May I ask for your name? Mine is Snowflame," she gave a slight grin.
((sorry for the delayed post, mine is rubbish.)))

Gold embers glowed with curiousity. A dark shape slid closer behind a tree. Shadow peeked around watching the faes. She turned her head to the side slightly at the different name. Maybe one of the northern wolves perhaps, but then again Shadows real name wasnt very common either. Shadow took in notice her crippled paw, nothing serious but it looked like she was in pain...
