*please this only a short tale, not anything big, plz dont criticize me cus its my first one ever*
The rain soaked through his coat sending shivers up his spine, and blood dripped from his back, "Nakhota,.... who is that?" He stammered. Thunder brewed in the distance and the present of the dark world came upon him. His mind clogged with all that has of happened the night before, and it was sights of it that blew him away, like a leaf in the breeze. Laying dead before him in his eyes was the sight of his pack, his mother, father, best friends, siblings, and even the Betas had not survived the brutal massacre of the rival pack. Not even the one Nakhota admired for so long, Liawee she called herself. A sleek, tender hearted she-wolf who had a thrill of joy in her heart.
"Fernis!" Nakhota cussed under his breath and falling to his knees under a willow. For it had been his fault that the rival pack had came to them in the first place. This pack called themselves "Repous" meaning "Repent". Their leader Starn, named this pack Repous because to repent, was to push away evil, and evil to Starn was the free wolves who roamed as they willed with no law. Nakhota used to be a lead Beta of this pack, though Nakhota knew it was wrong, he only helped Starn rid of these packs because of fear, fear that he would have to face Starn. So Nakhota just kept his pride to Starn.
Until one day When Starn wanted to put Nakhota to the test, to see exactly how loyal he was to him. So Starn put Nakhota in charge of the next execution. He was in charge of killing his own pack. Nakhota was shocked to hear this and trembled in his skin. Nakhota fakley agreed, but instead went to go and warn them instead.
After Nakhota immediately prepared to set off when Starn stopped him and said, "Where are you going, we don't leave for another sun?"
Nakhota jumped and growled lightly as other warriors closed in on him, "I'm not going anywhere sir."
Starn smerked, "yea, sure. Get him." and Starn walked away as the others started to beat him and strike with their fangs.
Nakhota opened his eyes, " Am i still alive?" he thought. He was, and in the distance he saw the sun setting. "No!" Nakhotas eyes widened as he barley could stand up, "I'm too late!" he started to limp, then go into a small sprint toward his home pack. The pain grasped him, but Nakhota took mind over matter to know if he could still do something to save his pack from Starn's warriors.
No, he was too late, and once he got there Sterns warriors were already finished and gone. They were gone. Forever.
Nakhota was back on his feet, walking in the rain. He still hurt all over, but refused to stop walking until he forgot about his life. Maybe get a new name, and take his revenge.
There was a sound of running in the distance, Nakhota looked back on the mountain to see a group of Starns warriors coming back to Finnish the job.
Nakhota spotted them, and put on a distant grin.
