Seasons had shifted and changed into each other, with their crazy weather and frequent storms, ice to rain to both and then just rain, winter and spring hadn't brought much excitement to many, and then the summer came and suddenly an invisible call echoed through fawn colored ears which carried a varg forward. A deep sense of panic leaked from it's body as it raced across the lands, through open fields and around a human camp almost caught twice the varg out ran them. With two seasons missing from it's memory, this varg was surprised it knew where it was heading, like an invisible map had been etched into it's mind and it was following that now. This varg was about three in age, it's pelt a glossy tri-color black ran along it's back and most of it's sides, while grey covered it's mid section, while brown completed it's under belly, a light tan covered it's legs. The build of the varg suggested it was female, and that's exactly her gender another scent came from her, it was the pack she had belonged to before her vanishing act, Deor and that's where her paws carried her now. Memories all melted together like the landscape all around her, light brown eyes forward in concentration, deep within them there was a bit of fear, dread and sadness that she felt while she returned to the lands that had welcomed her as a young whelp, where she was taken into the heart of her mother Mist who knew little of the reasons why she left, or this fae's own children, the majority of her litter seemed to have died in the year they'd been born, only two remained that she knew of...and sadly she hadn't told them either. A scent came to her nose and Calli knew she was home, but would the others of Deor welcome her as such? would she still be welcomed here after being gone for so long? these thoughts plagued her mind as she came to a halt just over the boarders, ears tucked against her head as her tail lowered she didn't want to seem to eager to be welcomed, whoever came to visit her she would be happy, even if it were a new face to the pack she had to get to know them, being gone for as long as she had been, wasn't good for any varg let alone Calli. Wondering what had happened to the pack in her absence the tri-hued fae continued to pad along slowly, wind picking up slightly ruffing her fur, knowing it would carry her scent as well Cagalli stopped and flopped her rump to the floor and sighed looking up at the familiar trees, dirt, rocks, everything she had remembered from her cubhood, the scents of the pack all mingled into one, a small smile crawled across her maw as she closed her eyes and thought silently "I'm home...."

The sky was in perfect shape. The ears of the trees came out into the gourgeus sky. The grasses spiked up high and the dirt floor glittered. It was a good day to be nosing around. Using her thick muzzle to overturn small things. Trying to see if there was something as buried treasure in the ground. Poking through mushrooms, and outrunning small animals. It was now called fun. And easy to do. No excuse why she would be here. But her time was due, she had to ask herself sometimes why she wasn't visiting this place more often. Now it was just a rule, to hang out. Hang in Deor. Hanging on. But just hanging out. Pondering her walnut nose came upon a left over ribcage and turned away from the sickening scent. Identifying the skull all the teeth were in the right place. Maybe it just died. If it was some sort of disease she did not want to get it. If Toka was still young, she was young, buy younger. She would be whining, maybe crying after seeing the dead animal. And her mother would be dragging her around.
Toka wasn't quite eager to disgust anything. She wondered if that was what the dead animal did. Rain flowed freely above her, or had. It was hard to feel it with a thick coat like hers. Roaming sharply, she came upon a large reddish tree. Admired its rich-gold bark and how Fenris's eye stroked it. Then pressed her ribcage against the stiff structure and rubbed back and forth. It was nice to be living freely. In pack, real nice. But was there others really watching you? Her honey brown pelt separated with the tree and Toka spun her neck around cautiously. It didn't really matter who was watching her, she knew most of the varg here. But would there be strangers in their property, that meant she should not be around the river that the Balkar lived across. And she trotted off again. It was exhausting to be running around like this, but also fun. It almost made her feel younger to be acting so childish. But it made her feel younger too.
Her vision was blurry. Like her eyes had been glazed. Maybe it was just because she was tired. Or it was a sickness. Like that little animal had. Did that mean she would have to curl up and die too? At the last minute minute, she plopped down. And she began to chew on what had been a branch of the gold tree. Poor tree...Looking lazily out in the pasture ahead of her. The pretty yellow flowers danced in the weather. And there out in the open, a young pretty gray varg appeared. For a while Toka had held still, not wanting to be seen. Not wanting to rupture the comfort of the other female. The stick fell from her jaws and she struggled upwards. Nearly fell down again then walked forwards. Toka wobbled a few stray feet from the other female and watched her. Wondering how to say hi this time.

//Mind if I join?\\ The forests that surrounded the great lands of Deor seemed almost completely still, with nothing much moving in them apart from the small lera and the plants and trees that swayed in the small breezes that flew occasionally through the forests. All in all, it was a senere, peaceful and relaxed place to be today. The eye of Fenris was quite high in the skies, and was storking the world with some of his more kinder, not quite so hot rays. Every now and then, a icy white flash coud be seen through the trees, moving in a trotting step, neat sooty black paws hitting the earth at regular intervals. It was a wolf, a type often seen in Transylvainia, but with an oddly coloured coat for the breed. Koiji was icy white with sooty black paws, and a purpley-red streak in her tail. She moved like a ghost, her long pelt getting blown lightly in the wind, her scent being blown along with it. It hadn't been that long since the she varg had joined Deor, she'd been adopted by Silve, around about the time that the snows were still upon the land. She'd been not much more than a whelp then, and had now grown into a lithe adult fae. The she-varg's step slowed a little, a scent catching in her nose. It was one of a wolf she'd never met before, and she couldn't help wondering if it was a member of Deor that she hadn't met yet.
Keeping her pace at th gentle trot that she'd been using for most of the morning, she quickly figured out that there was not one sent in the air, but two. Suddenly feeling excited, she looked about her, not seeing anyone through the haze of trees, but then again that was just at the moment. Carrying on at the gentle pace, her no longer gangly legs suddenly felt full of energy. The grin that had come to her maw before widened, now looking slightly like a doggy grin, long pink tonuge slightly lolling from her mouth. Her keen icy blue hues soon picked out two figures in, and near the clearing. Koiji's pace slowed to a stop, as she tried to fathom out who these two figures were. She hadn't met everyone in Deor, so, full of wonder, and now at a slow walk, she made her way towards the clearing, grin now slightly more cautious. She saw that one of the Vargs was on the border just about, and the other slightly more closer to her, she stepped forward, looking toward the middle of the glade like place. She soon left the cover of the trees and made herself visable in the wode open space. It didn't seem that long ago that she'd met Genocide, and ended up standing in roughly thesame spot, explaining how she'd met a cannibal. Although she was terrified at the time, the suituation was now almost laughable to her. She didn't hesitate to say hello, her friendly nature took over and she just did. "Hello! I don't think I've met either of you before, I'm Koiji, new, but proud member of Deor." Then she waited, just to see who these mysterious pack members were.

The day was a fine one. Even the normal heat of summer can not mar the beauty, and a light, cool breeze gives relief from the heat where it would be uncomfortable on its own. Wildflowers dot the forested landscape of Deor and sent their sweet scents into the air to be enjoyed by any leisurely enough to enjoy them. A bee's droning buzz wakes the slumbering Drappa from her heavy sleep, but for the first few moments the only thing that would tell that she is awake is the occasional flickering of an ear as she sleepily tries to tell the inquisitive bee to go on its way. Finally, after it lands on her other ear she stirs, slightly grumpy at the annoying insect and moving enough that it flies off in a huff at being disturbed. "You disturbed me in the first place... don't complain, you little idiot." She mumbles under her breath, slowly sitting up on her stiff haunches and being careful to avoid putting too much extra weight on her still-painful left foreleg.
The Drappa is Mist, and it has been some time since her fight, but she still often feels twinges from her slowly healing wounds and has to move more slowly than usual to avoid sharp pains as they protest her too-quick movements. Sighing softly she looks around at the sun-mottled landscape to see if anything has changed since she fell asleep. Most of it is the same - flowers, trees, the occasional squirrel or scampering mouse - but there is something different. It is in fact something she hears, and not what her eyes tell her that alert her to the change. It is a familiar voice, and hearing it, Mist pricks her ears to better understand the words spoken. Koiji is greeting two strangers - but there was no howl asking for Tratto's Blessing, so they are either ignorant, enemies, or Deorians themselves. The possibility of enemies can be easily ruled out, for Koiji wouldn't greet them in such a way. That leaves two... and Mist is all to eager to find out which it is, and who these strangers are - if they are strangers to her or not.
Getting slowly to all four paws Mist stretches slightly and leaves her comfortable bed in a patch of soft grass. Limping fairly slowly in the direction from which she heard Koiji's voice she keeps her ears tuned on the area ahead, listening for any possible answer. In a short time she breaks free of the tree-cover into a small clearing and her eyes widen as she sees one of the two "strangers" - who is not strange at all. Her long-lost daughter, Cagalli, has come home. The other is not a stranger either, and is a lately truant Deorian as well, Toka. Picking up her pace as best she can, Mist limps forward toward the small meeting, a bark forcing itself out of her throat as she keeps her eyes on her daughter. "Calli!"
Knowing she must to her duty to all pack members as Drappa she smiles and shifts her gaze for a moment to Toka and Koiji and barks out a greeting. Hello, Koiji, dear. Toka! Welcome home!" After these words, however, she cannot help but head straight to her adopted daughter, as beloved as any blood daughter could be. Her limp is evident, as are the numerous scars littering the Drappa's sleek form. There is no doubt her appearance will be a surprise to the fae in front of her, but explanations will come in time. For now Mist is just happy to see Calli again - safe, and home. "Oh, Calli, my darling." She says softly as she reaches the tri-hued fae and smiles, nuzzling her daughter gently. "Welcome home. I hope you are here to stay this time?" Pulling back she looks the younger fae over, so many things running through her mind, both to ask and to tell, but she forces herself to silence for a little while longer. Both will come in time, and should not be spoken of in too great of detail with others around, even ones as trustworthy and well-loved as the other two faes in the clearing.
(OOC: Sorry Koiji and Toka... I couldn't think of anything else to do. I hope you don't feel too left out!)

The fae sat there for a moment, taking in all that she loved and remembered from so long ago never had she returned from a trip so long and was glad to be here, in a place she knew was safe, a place that comforted her. The wind rustled her fur once more and carried a scent towards her, Calli turned and spotted Toka coming towards her, granted the fae had never met the other and assumed Toka were new to the lands, about to bark a greeting another scent broke her train of thought and then a voice touched her soft ears and Calli turned to see a young white colored fae, bowing her head lightly to the two Cagalli smiled lightly at Koji tail wagging slightly as she spoke a small greeting "Hello Koji" was all she managed before a familiar voice broke through to her, and her heart skipped a beat in her chest as Mist came towards her...limping? Concern flashed in her eyes as she watched her mother pad over to her "Mother what happened?" nuzzling Mist lightly afraid to cause anymore harm, she folds her ears back and looks Mist over, she felt like a young whelp again in the presence of the Drappa. She asked if Calli were here to stay and with a small nod Calli answered "Yes, of course I am...I promise that I am here to stay this time...nothing can call me back to where I had gone" she looked troubled for a moment, the place she had wandered to because she could hear a familiar call in her ringing ears, that of a white male, shaking her head she sighs, that was the worst mistake she knew she should of returned after aiding Krystal in the ice cave but that voice....lightly shaking her head she smiled to Koji and nodded to Toka "It is nice to meet new faces upon my return" she wrapped her tail around her "As you can tell I am the eldest daughter of Mist, and my name is Cagalli otherwise known as Calli" she looked at Mist and nuzzled her again lightly "I should never of left, I feel so sorry for it...and I'm home mother" she spoke softly to Mist. Though she knew words would never amount to much, she would prove that she had returned for good with the coming days she would, to be here for Mist and the others as much as possible, no matter what it took Calli would remain here. (sorry it's not a great post)

Toka searched the sides of the field. Blinking blankly, then turned back the the unfamiliar varg with a smile. But before there was anything to say, she could spot another Deorian coming along too. Toka blinked wanting to speak again, wondering how she could be around so many varg after being alone so long. And then came along the familiar Mist. It was quite confusing. The information was filling in, and it was easy now to see that this was the Cagalli of Mist. Why hadn't she recognized her? Toka's ears rose happily. "Hello! Mist and Calli! And Koiji!" Toka had almost studdered on Koiji's name. There were many that she had not met yet. A familiar look of worry was across Cagalli's face, worry, Toka had also noticed the limp but had no reason to nose about it.
Toka intently listened to the two's words. Toka had left also, she had come back too. In fact she had just come back, or had been let back. There seemed to be many returning to the lands of Deor these days. Toka remembered meeting Ryu, Calli's blood brother. Again Toka would never had guessed that they were related. She wondered what it was like to be the daughter of the Drappa. A life she never would think about, beyond her reach of thought. Her childhood was gone now, and it was okay, there had to be worse it didn;t really matter anymore. She blinked back into reality to see the other three there still. Mist was a good mother, her mother Kara might of been like that, but it was too far back to remember impossible.
Back again, Mist was myteriously hurt, and none knew anything about the wounds. Would this be battle wounds, doing that as a mother and Drappa? Or just a mistake, or accident. Again it felt wrong to ask and Calli had already mentioned it. "Good to be back..." Toka whispered.
[ooc] Sorry for the HUGE delay! I went somewhere out of notice! And WHOOP! I have to get off, sorry for the shortness...

OoC;;I'm soooooooo sorry for the wait, RL caught up with me x3Koiji could hear something approaching in the trees, before the other two wolves in the clearing introduced themselves, a familiar figure limped into the view of the animals. She seemed a little worse for wear, but the proud Deorian alpha walked on into the place that they'd seemed to have gathered. Koiji couldn't help but feel guilty now when she saw her friend here, Mist's injuries were kind of her fault, seeing as she'd sustained them after Koiji had met a Listian varg, she felt that it was her fault that poor Mist had nearly fought to her death. A voice whimpered in her head, and she bowed it to her superior.
Mist limped to the one of the varg that Koiji had not had the pleasure to meet properly, and Koiji realised that this must have been Cagilli, one of Mist's eldest daughters. She smiled, seeing that Mist seemed overjoyed to see that she'd come back. The other varg it would seem, had yet to name herself. Koiji's smile greatened as she saw how happy Mist was becoming. Her assumption was right, it was Calli before her, and it didn't take long to discover the identity of the other face in the small gathering. "Nice to meet you Calli, do you mind if I call you that, or would you prefer me to use Cagilli? And hello Toka!" Her soft voice moved around the clearing. She smiled lightly at each of the vargs in turn, and then relaxed.
It would have seemed to the icy fae that not only Calli had returned recently, but Toka also, she continued to smile, and looked about the faces in the clearing. Once Mist and Calli seemed to have stopped speaking, she thought for a minute about appolgising to Mist again, about various things. It was kind of her fault for wandering off far enough to come across somebody who at the time she didn't know was an enemy, but she'd gotten herself kidnapped by Ayame, and then thrown down a hill, and Mist had gone off to search for the huge ebon fae and teach her a lesson. She shook herself as a burst of wind ruffled her pelt, and she looked back toward the scene in the clearing. She hoped that she hadn't missed any conversation, so she decided to speak up to her drappa. "Mist, can I just say I'm sorry again? I didn't mean for you to get hurt in that way, and I didn't mean to meet anyone from List, I swear, I'm probably babbling now, but I am, I am sorry..." She trailed off, shaking her head, and appoligised for speaking out of term, something she'd learnt from that one time she'd been acquainted to Chalos, don't ever speak out of term to an alpha. She shuddered, and she remebered the old nightmare that had once happened in this very part of the Deorian woods. Not so long ago...

Noticing Calli's reluctance to nuzzle her as enthusiastically as she normally would, Mist fully understands her daughter's concern. She has had a similar reaction recently... it is rather unsettling to see your Drappa injured - and it is hard to know how others are faring just by looking at them. Shaking her head slightly she smiles at the young fae, pleased to see her. "It's a bit of a long story, but, suffice to say, I had a run-in with a fae from List, and it took us a while to realize that stopping the fight would be in our best interests. Do not worry about me, though, my dear. I have healed some since then - it will only take time, truly, I am well; and having you home makes it even better." Stepping forward once more she nuzzles her daughter, careful of her healing wounds, but not altogether avoiding the contact. The following words reaffirm her momentary happiness, and her tail begins to swish behind her. It is not that she did not catch the momentary troubled look that crosses her daughter's face, but decides that as well is a subject for another time. Concentrating on this fact, she responds only to the words.
"Wonderful. We have a lot to catch up on, you and I..." Indeed, all those things will be for another time, or for a little later at this meeting. She doesn't wish to tell Cagalli of all Deor's recent occurrences in any other company. She would much prefer a mother-daughter conversation. It is not as if Chayton is Calli's real father, or even that she was close to the mann, but it is still hard for Mist, and no doubt the news of his death will be a blow to the younger fae as well. Returning her daughter's nuzzle once again she shakes her head. "The past is the past - all that matters now is that you're back."
Turning to the other two vargs she offers them each a smile. Not only is she pleased that her daughter is home, but Toka has returned as well, and who better for Cagalli to meet than Koiji - who will surely be a good friend to Mist's daughter if she so wishes. The fae in question speaks up, and the Drappa turns to look at Koiji, tilting her head in askance at the white fae's words. Shaking her head she glances down at the spiral-shaped still-healing scars on her left shoulder and foreleg before raising her eyes a moment later to meet those of the young fae.
"Koiji, dear, no apology is necessary. It was not your fault, and it was my choice to go searching for her. You did nothing wrong - it is a hard fact that individual vargs must sometimes be enemies for no reason other than the fact that their packs are enemies as well. Sometimes the world is less kind than we would like, and those who should be friends, are enemies instead - forced to hate each other." Smiling kindly at her young friend as if to reaffirm her words, she thinks of her own experience with the ebon fae from List. Though the two met as enemies and left respecting each other, there is little chance that they will ever be able to be friends."Truly, it is alright. What's done is done - there is no need to fret. I am healing, and there was no permanent harm done."

Listening to the familiar fae's around her speak the joy of being home was just so overwhelming and such a wonderful reception. She wasn't prepared to be greeted by such a party she smiled warmly at koji nodding "You may call me Calli if you wish, it is what most often I am referred to as" her soft voice echoed the pain of her journey but there was more strength in her then she thought before. Meeting Krystal in the blizzard changed her and not only strengthened her body but her mental state as well, nothing would of prepared her for the mental wear and tear that she put herself through but she was glad it was done as Koji continued to speak, the tri-hued Deorian tipped her head to the side lightly wondering but not asking what Koji could mean by her apology. Calli figured that she would learn of all she had missed eventually when she and her mother were alone and sharing their own time, something that pulled her back to Deor, she was forever loyal to the silver drappa for taking her in as a helpless whelp and still accepted the fae even after her first litter had been born though granted none of her step-siblings had shown interest in meeting their older 'sister' it was still just nice to be home with Mist again. Mist explained her injuries and Calli nodded as she spoke to her, glad that they could make enough sense to end the fight, before she was left without a mother her fawn ears twitched and she smiled lightly as Mist said that the past was left in its place and that the only thing that remained was that she remain here in her home with her family and friends. She smiled "I hold no intentions of leaving, I need my family and it seems that it needs me" she wagged her tail lightly "Though before I left my mind demon told me differently, I am glad I was pulled back here, and to of met such a wonderful homecoming such as this"
((not the best sorry it took so long!!))
