Sweet Beginnings, Bitter Endings

The breeze lifted my spirits high. I had been lonely lately, and was looking for a new friend. I knew I could have just made friends with the birds, but of course, they wouldn't make friends with a giant mann like me.

Hello? Is anybody there? I called out into the swaying grass. No reply. Figured. Sometimes, I felt like there were no more vargs left in the world.

I laughed out loud as my mind drifted. I started to think of femmes and how none of them were mine to love. I knew that I was also way too young to be thinking about a mate, but, I couldn't help myself.

I laid my jet black head down and closed my eyes, and then suddenly opened them again. I was afraid for once in my life. Not of another varg, but of the dreamland. Recently, I had been having nighmare's about my childhood.

I shivered at the thought and stood up. I shook my coat, for there were pieces of grass stuck to it. My muscles quivered, for I had been laying down for quite some time.

I let my bear-sized paws guide me. Right now, I had no care in the world. My mind wandered again, and any sudden noise would probably startle me.

The young mann padded under the heat of Fenris, the grass dampening the sound of his paws. His golden eyes searched the landscape hungrily, and his ears were alert. The slight breeze rustled his black pelt, and the streaks of silver gave him an eerie look. His paws constantly moved, never wavering, through the meadow.

Suddenly, as if out of the blue, a voice called, " Hello? Is anybody there?" Freki's maw stretched in a sad smile, and he knew that, like himself, that mann was alone. He thought sullenly of his deceased family, and forgot about the lone mann, when suddenly a shrill laugh came from across the swaying grass. The black mann froze, petrified. He eventually noticed a jet black mann, not unlike himself, walk away from his direction. He couldn't contain himself, and he lifted his maw as he rushed forwards, and howled loudly, telling the mann that he wasn't alone.

Panting, Freki galavanted across the damp ground, dodging stray rocks, until he was nearly at the male before he tripped, and fell heavily on his face. Snarling, he lay sullenly on the ground, glaring.

[Lykos]

Lykos ran trough the woods knowing that the meadow was ahead and he jumped right when he was exiting the forest. He saw two wolves both of them are had black fur like himself and he decided to ask them who they are and if they were in a pack he could join. He wished to join the List Pack and was hoping that these wolves were in that pack. "Hello my name is Lykos are you two in a pack I can join."
