((OOC: Any Deorian is welcome to reply, but please allow Koiji to reply first.))
The thick whispering trees of the packlands of Deor were swaying slightly in the fresh cool breeze. Pillows of soft, white, fluffy clouds floated contentedly in the azure sky, ablaze with the light of Fenris's angry eye at high noon. But the day was wonderfully pleasant, and all around birds and incests announced their prescence. Oh, how good it feels to be back. The thought, of course, did not break the silence, but it did, however, break the revery of the trotting silver wolf as she moved at a brisk pace, though in truth it was much slower for her than she normally would when she travelled Deor on one of her many scouting trips. The slowness seemed to creep into her soul as her heart shouted at her to run, run with the sheer exultance at being home once more. But it was not for long. The need to search for Neithan was still upon her, and once her adopted pup was safely delivered into the territory into trusted paws Silve would be off again.
The border of the packland was swiftly approaching, and that wave of scent that marked it stopped Silve as though it were a wall. She looked back to see that Koiji was still keeping up with her, and then her head tilted back and her ears clutched to the thick tufts of fur at her silver neck. Upper and lower jaw parted as the song of the wild Varg lifted and freed itself of the confines of her strong lungs. I'm here, it said. She looked at Koiji once more, then, bracing herself, put her front left paw over the scent line. For a moment it seemed an invisible hand stroked her from nose to tail-tip. She sighed. "You have no idea, Koiji," she whispered, "how good it is to be home again, even if I cannot stay long." She moved forward with more confidence now, heading towards the clearing where she had bedded down the night before she had left Deor.
Now the tension left her body as she unconsciously fell into the slow trot of a scout, periodically scanning her surroundings and taking in long draughts of the air with her all-knowing nose. As she trotted she spoke, letting Koiji know the recent events of Deor. "This place is all beloonging to Deor, and thus, by extension, Chalos Autumn, our brave Dragga, and Mist, a dear friend of mine and also the Drappa of Deor. Although I've only glimpsed Chalos once in passing, I know this. He is like a bear. Enormous. But smaller than his brother who murdered our former Drappa, Lucivar, may she find rest with Tor." A sad look came into the blue orbs. "We still recover from that most dreadful loss." She sighed once more and turned her head forward once more. They had reached the clearing that Silve had been looking for. Once more she howled, then waited.

Excitement was ripping through the air surrounding the cub as she trotted towards what would now be her new home. The wind was softly drifting through the treetops, and the clouds just seemed to be drifting lazily through the sky. Koiji was more excited than she had been in a while, for at last, she may have found a place she could happily call her home. Looking about her, the icy white cub trotted strongly along by Silve's side, taking in her new surroundings. It was just the right type of day that made the cub want to run, just for the fun of it. How beautiful She thought as she took in all the colours of the forest that they now found themselves in.
Sniffing the air, she could smell what must have been a pack border aproaching fast. It was amasing how quickly time had gone. Little more than a month ago, Koiji had found herself alone and without a pack, and here she was meeting new friends. The little white cub grinned up at Silve when she arrived at what must have been the border line and a wild cry sang through the air. I'm here it seemed to say to Koiji.
"You have no idea, Koiji, how good it is to be home again, even if I cannot stay long." the silver varg whispered to her. Koiji looked up at her friend and whispered back a responce, "I think I'm going to like it here!" Her little tail wagged, "I hope they like me!" She added, looking a bit nervous about meeting all of the new wolves. Silve's pace relaxed a bit and Koiji felt more at ease. As they went further into the packlands, Silve explained all of the recent things that had happened in the pack. Excitement was flooding through her veins as she trotted at the silver wolf's side. She hoped that she would fit in, and listened eagerly to all Silve had to say. "I hope that Lucivar can find her way to rest with Tor," She said at the mention of a death, she hated to hear about that type of thing now she understood what a terible thing it was to have witnessed in her life. Her icy blue hues were fillled with sympathy as they wandered into the large glade. Silve howled once more and they waited, Koiji wasn't sure what for, but she'd soon find out.

Spring is a good season for the world. The life-giving warmth and evident reign of Fenris as the days lengthen bless the god's lands and his children - the varg not least of all. Today is no exception to the usual warm beauty of Spring. The sky is a depthless blue, seemingly a infinite ocean into the world of the gods. Fluffy pure white clouds float lazily over its surface, adding to the beauty and occasionally covering the land in small patches of cool shade.
This time of year is also the height of the flower season. Trees all over have budded out in either colorful blooms or, for the non-flowering trees, light green catkins and tiny new leaves. The lands of Deor are no different. The sweet scent of blossoms flows through the air on gusty currents of soft wind.
Closing her eyes to revel in the warmth and sweet air, the ashy-grey Drappa of Deor pauses, her graceful, lithe form evidently one of this land. She has lived most of her life within these borders, and knows every tree and glade. At this time she has no pressing issues. Life goes on as usual - sadly rather slow at the moment. It seems for every varg that enters the pack, two drop out for a time. This is the only shadow over the lovely golden eyed Drappa's spirit. It is a dark one at times, however. The strange thing that always seems to happen to Deor has not passed by her family. Of her five cubs, she has only seen two at all recently, and her beloved mate has rarely been seen in the past months.
Though her heart is not whole without Chayton, she has always been strong and she has never been one to give up hope. He will return to her - she always believes this, and it is what keeps her as strong as she is. Taking a deep breath she opens her eyes, and smiles as delicate, tiny patches of flower carpets meet her gaze. Lowering her head she sniffs them appreciatively before swiftly lifting it again as a howl reaches her keen ears.
She knows that howl - it is Silve, returned home once more. Smiling as she recognizes the familiar voice she stands and gracefully trots toward the fading sound. She should definitely welcome the silver scout home, and meet the young fae she adopted. Though Mist gave her permission, fully trusting Silve's judgment, she has not yet met the cub. Eyes sparkling at the thought of another young member in Deor, the Drappa spots the two faes after a few moments of traveling. Raising her head proudly she slows, her black-padded paws sinking slightly into the soft turf. Though she wants the cub to feel welcome and completely comfortable in her new home, Mist will greet her first as her Drappa.((Pff, it's not great - especially the beginning, but I hope it's ok at least! I'm so excited you're in Deor now, Koiji!))

Looking about her at the pretty blossoming trees, Koiji's excitement and anxciousness was becoming quite clear. The beautiful glades that were on the outskrits of the Deorian pack border were alight with Fenris' angry beams and there was a subtle breeze finding it's way towards the pup and her foster Mum. "Silve," She said, as the sound of paw falls became distinct. "I hear someone!" Her little tail set off into a swining motion, and the cub's muzzle broke into a grin.
Within not much time, a ash-grey Drappa had trotted up to them. Koiji knew instantly that this must have been Mist, Drappa of Deor, and a very respected figure in the Deor family. She had a friendly air about her, and this made the icy cub take to her immediately. She kept quiet. She didn't want to make a bad or rude impression on Mist, so she waited to be addressed. Looking up briefly at Silve with her icy blue hues, her little tail wagged in a steady movement.
The birds were twitering above them, some weaving beautiful songs, others calling to their mates, and other cries were that of hungry chicks. It certainly was a beatiful day, and Koiji was glad of that, beacuse after a hard winter things were fianally looking up and she knew that spring had truly come the the wolves home. (OOC;;Thankies Mist! I'm really xcited about being in Deor ^_^ Post's not the best but it shows what Koiji's reaction is )

The feeling was one that the fae could not quite shake off. The feeling of how wonderful it was to be home; home in Deor where there were so many Varg that she loved. A maternal smile is what greeted Koiji's enthusiastic response to her little background. "I know you will love it here, Koiji. We are a good pack. Strong," she growled softly. Tenderly she reached down with her muzzle to brush her muzzle past the downy white fur behind the pup's ears. "Don't worry, little one, they will love to have you here." A soft, musical laugh escaped the silver fae's lips as she continued to listen to the sounds of the Deorian forest. A more beautiful music she had only once heard; the strong howl of the black mann that was held most dear to her heart. A part of her hoped to introduce him to her adopted cub. The other part was aching from thoughts of how beautiful cubs of their own might be. A sigh.
For a moment the fae seemed lost in her memories. Swept away by times that were. But then the time came that she shook her head and came out of a startled revery and brought her mind back to the times that are. As she moved to check on the cub she heard something, and as her head jumped up to see Koiji herself mentioned it herself. Were she anywhere else, Silve would have tensed with unspent energy and snarl a warning to whomever was approaching. But she knew that she was safe here, and so she merely lifted her nose into the wind to scent, and the one that was most pleasent was the feral scent of another wolf, but it was so familiar. She knew it to be Mist that was approaching, and so swiftly brought herself strongly onto her paws, her head carefully positioned so it would not be held higher than Mist's when her Drappa arrived. She gestured at Koiji to do the same.
The moments ticked away and became the past as the two waited patiently, side by side. From the trees emerged the graceful silhouette of the Drappa first, and then moments later more distinctive features became evident. The blue orbs of the lower ranking silver fae filled with excitement, and much of her wanted to rush forward and greet her packsister with all the energy that she was currently holding in check. She knew that the most important part of introducing Koiji to the pack was ensuring that she was well aware of who those of higher esteem were. Along with Chalos, Mist was of the highest esteem, and so she needed to be shown the proper respect. Her voice went easily from the colloquial tone she had only recently been using with Koiji to one that was filled with respect. "I know that I am returned earlier than I would have thought, Mist. But I bring with me this little one, whom I have taken as my own cub." At this point she lowered her muzzle to indicate the white varg next to her. A low whisper meant for Koiji crept from between her lips, "Introduce yourself to her, little one."

As the silver Drappa's lithe form became more and more pronounced, Koiji grew slightly nervous. What would happen if she said something she didn't mean to? No, She thought. I won't do anything stupid She smushed the nerves down with the happy thought that this lovely forest was now to be her new home. Finally, a place she could come back to after exploring, somewhere she could be safe. Koiji wanted to run about the packands, for it ones one of those infections days where you felt like you coud do anything and everything.
Mist padded ever closer and Koiji's small muzzle broke into a small grin. She couldn't help it excitement had taken over what had once been nerves. Her mouth didn't open, but it was quite evident that she was happy. Her head lowered slightly, ike how Silve's had, so it wasn't raised higher than Mist's. She looked from her new mother and back to the grey Drappa who was within speaking distance, for Silve was indicating that she was back, and had a newcomer with her.
Silve's low whisper got the message across to Koiji, who's muzzle now opened in a big grin. "Hello Mam'm" She said in her politest voice. "Pleased to make your aquaintance, I'm Koiji." Her tail wagged as she said so. Just for good measure, she bowed her head slightly and bought it back up to hear what Mist's responce would be. Maybe she'd over done it? No, being polite was a good thing as her birth mother had always taught her. The thought made her wonder, where was her old pack now? She would have dwelled on the thought longer, but she thought better of it, instead, again sh turned her audits to a responce.

Gentle golden eyes sweeping over the familiar sight of Silve, Mist smiles at her dear friend and pack sister, and then drops her gaze slightly to fall on the less-familiar sight of a cub by the silver fae's side. The dusty-coal Drappa waits for Silve's words and then dips her head in acknowledgment. Her voice is soft and gentle, not exactly musical, but pleasant to hear. "You are always welcome home, Silve. It is a joy to me to see you back here. There is no need for your explanation of coming back sooner than you had expected. Your time is your own, and you do not have to be specific on when you return."
Her words mean that there is no need for expectation, and Silve may come and go as she wishes, but Mist smiles slightly again as she is not sure how clearly her meaning came across. Silve has known her long enough that she most likely doesn't need to explain herself further, so she leaves it at that.
Turning her attention to the as-yet unknown cub, Mist changes her stance slightly - now more of a welcoming aunt or mother-figure, with the Drappa position in the background. A gentle, welcoming smile graces the lovely fae's face as she verbally welcomes her newest pack-member. "Hello young one." Koiji's greeting widens her smile and she dips her head, introducing herself after learning the little fae's name. "I am pleased to meet you as well, Koiji. I hope you will love Deor and that you know it is your home. You are very, very welcome here, and if you are anything like your adopted mother, you will do wonderfully as a Deorian."
As she speaks of Silve, Mist turns her head to nuzzle the silvery fae, telling non-verbally of their friendship. Seeing the two more relaxed now and not bothering with the greeting-stance makes Mist herself feel more comfortable. Though she is more than capable for her position, and it does not make her, specifically, uncomfortable, she has still not been Drappa for long, and wishes to be friends with her packmates. At this thought she speaks of it, wanting Koiji to know. "I hope we can be friends, Koiji - as Silve and I are. I have cubs about your age as well, I hope they can be your friends too." As she smiles down at the darling young fae no one would guess this gentle Drappa would be a formidable opponent - that in a fairly short time she would show her ability to protect her pack, down to the youngest - or newest - member. (( Since "dusty-coal" isn't all that clear, I still mean grey... she isn't black all of a sudden or anything. Also, the end I was thinking about her fight with Ayame... ))

There were no words to express the joy in Silve's heart as she was welcomed home by her dearest, most beloved friend and packsister. She smiled, albeit a little shyly. Even those few weeks away had made her a little shaky when it came to group communication, though it was coming back to her easily enough in speaking to Mist. "I am beginning to think that this little journey of mine was foolish. I came near to the boundaries of Koran when I first left, but found no trace of the Varg I was looking for. He is veiled from me." This was meant to show Mist that she planned to stay for a time, but also it alluded to more plans to speak with her Drappa in private of how her personal journey had fared.
Silve smiled and seemed to swell with pride at the compliment that the grey fae had paid her and her new daughter. The silver fae laughed. "You have no idea, dear sister, how alike we are. I happened to find her in the very cave I lived in as a Kerl." Her blue eyes now glimmered with their usual mischeivious humor and amusement. When Mist nuzzled her, she returned the gesture, burying her muzzle for a moment in the Drappa's soft grey fur.
((Will finish!))
