Standing strong on her slender legs, Silve took a deep breathe of the forest air, catching the scent of several wolves in with the musty odor of the newly fallen leaves. Sapphire blue eyes raked the undergrowth, searching for something she could not find. There was nothing dangerous in this territory, she thought happily. Living all her life alone made the fact that she was going to be a part of pack life all the more joyful. She danced from paw to paw to filter the emense energy that was flowing through her body. The kind of energy that made her want to run on her fleet paws and howl deviantly at the moon and sun.
With the grace and agility that had long since blessed her kind she padded at a swift pace through the trees. Exploring. Every time another Varg crossed her path she started and crouched low and submissive, even though in truth it wasn't quite her nature. All the wolves she could see were mingling and speaking. Perhaps passing information, or planning a hunting trip. Which ever it was, Silve wasn't sure, but she knew she wanted to be part of it.
Finally she allowed the outlet for her energy and ran at a mile-eating gait, sprinting as though her life depended on it. The howl she raised to the heavens was quite unlike all the others she's given to the world. Her howls were once mournful and lonely, and now she sang with a full heart and a happy mind. No longer to be Kerl, but a member of the pack famed for its tight knit family life style. She grinned a happy wolfy grin, one that she hadn't smiled since the last time she had seen Zabarack, the Night Sky to her moon pelt.
I'll see him again, she promised herself before continuing her exploration of the new home she had been granted.
