The summer heat had scorched most of the land to those spaces lucky enough to miss the heat which weren't many, mostly all creatures found shelter there except for an over-grown mann who found shelter up in the mountains though the humidity was horrid the shade in the caves and the damp coolness saved him. Then the rains hit and he found some old feelings stirring inside him and then he played around with a friendly face Takhi, sliding down the rocks like they had not a care in the world, like friends should and Takuto respected that they had separate homes to return to after their fun had ended. Grey paws moved along the dry earth as he made his way towards the Koran boarder, his nose lead him, it was his only source of direction, having not made this journey in a very long time and he felt so bad for his actions of disappearing on his home, his pack, a place that accepted him from the age of a young pup to now, a lead hunter who carried pride and a new sense of respect to everyone he knew. Chocolate eyes searched for some familiar sight, something he could keep his mind on until he made it back home safely but he couldn't think of anything at the moment, no all that stuck in his mind was the fun time he spent with Takhi in the mountains and how he wished he could share that same fun down here in the forest, but the rocks here were different a lot less steep. Shrugging the thoughts away he tipped his head up and scented the air around him, wagging his tail he picked up his pace home was closer then he thought. The sun was setting now, casting it's fiery radiance across the clouds even in the weakest times the light still showed it was powerful and threatened another day of heat tomorrow, granted this wasn't Takuto's first summer but his second and still he found himself to not be able to bear much of it, but with time he'd over come these feelings and hot and humid days like today would just feel so normal. Tongue hanging from the side of his mouth the lead hunter came into familiar territory, tail dropped just in case he ran into someone of higher status while returning he didn't want to let off the wrong impression, that would be bad, the forest of Koran was very welcoming the feeling of being complete once more entered the male and he smiled, eyes half closed as he pressed on. Chocolate hued ears perked forward as his trot became more of a walk and then he stopped all together under the shade of a tall tree., flopping his body down he knew that here in the boarder he was safe, and would rest before moving more into the heart of the packlands, panting slightly he looked around himself there was the faint scent of Koranian vargs but nothing fresh so he'd just missed them passing by. Pushing himself into a sitting position the male tilted his head back and gave a song, one of happiness and searching, anyone who wanted to greet him home was more then welcome to, wondering who though would bother, he never really made connections in the pack and it was now time to do so. Lowering his head again, he could hear his call fading into the distance head tilted slightly he sighed sliding his front legs down until he was laying once more, the shadows of night were creeping in ever so slowly and Takuto knew that he would need to be on the move again soon. ((forgive the horrid post..))[/font]

. e x e r c i . As the day wore on, the heat became more intense in the forest of Koran. The ground was parched, in some areas cracked from lack of water, and some of the smaller flora had wilted as the temperature rose. But flora and fauna alike were feeling the affects of the summer's grip; the many Varg that inhabited the Transylvanian forests were in what was the most uncomfortable time of year. The heat and humidity was unbelievable; the she-varg that ventured along the borders of Koran was unfortunate to be carrying the burden of an arctic coat. Like all wolves, she had malted, but the pelt that was left behind was still far to thick. Tongue hanging from her jaws, the slender fae padded forward; she herself had been on many an excursion from the packlands, and it had left her feeling guilty. Koran needed her, and it was her duty to not leave them for such extended periods of time. But sometimes, when the wander-lust consumed her, she had to escape. If only for a moment, that freedom would always be important to her.
But there was no place like home.
And home she had come. The tora-ge female had returned, and had at once begun to do her duty. As Lead Scout and a Beta, Exerci had gone on patrol. Although she herself felt like a foreigner in the lands of Koran, she had to look for any creature that could pose a threat to her beloved family. But today, as she completed a circuit of the borders, there appeared to be nothing of interest to the Koranian she-varg. Fenris' rays were beating down upon the land, and thus upon her back. Despite the cover of the trees, the day's warmth was still overpowering. So the femme retreated to the shade; simply to think back and reminisce about everything that happened in the past. There were many things, so many things, that she could have thought about but for some reason her thoughts rested once again on her family, the Koran Pack. The wolves of Koran formed both her family and her friends, and to her they were priceless. In her mind, Exerci had always known that if the situation was grave enough, she would lay down her life to save those she held dear to herself. The she-wolf's loyalties were firmly rooted with Koran, and nothing could change that.
As she lay in the shadow of a pine tree, ears perked forward to capture a familiar sound. Somehow, the howl that echoed across the landscape was both familiar and distant, something she hadn't heard for an awfully long time. It took her a couple of seconds to process it, but soon enough the she-varg was on her feet and loping toward the source of the sound. "Takuto.." She whispered, a black and white shape weaving through the trees with unprecedented elegance and grace. The scent that tickled her nares was one of a maturing male, no longer the pup that she had known. Silver-blue eyes scanned for the silhouette of a wolf, Exerci loped toward him. Slowing to what could only be considered a trot, and moved toward him. Tail held reasonably high, but not in an intimidating manner, she called out to him. "Takuto!" Her voice was soft, yet still audible over the sounds of the woodland that surrounded them. Thick tail lashed behind her; my how he'd grown. The leggy female approached him, a smile pulling on her lips. Elegant limbs carried her forward in a fluid motion, before she too settled herself, limbs folding to lower the tall fae into a sitting position.

Everything was so peaceful in Koran, mind you the sun was torture but he'd cope with it until the night came and he'd have a chance to cool off the young male had honestly failed to realize how much he had actually grown in his time away in the mountains. He wouldn't of recognized himself if he were to stare in a puddle at his own reflection, how would anybody remember him? shaking that thought from his mind to focus on a new development, a scent had come to his nose carried by the soft winds ruffing his fur. He recognized it faintly from a previous two encounters but the name escaped him, how pathetic he must look lost in thought trying to remember the name of the fae coming towards him now, yet no matter how hard he picked at his mind it took her voice to jolt his memory he turned his head to face her watching the tiger striped beta lay near him, she had spoken his name and a goofy grin spread across his maw "Greetings miss Exerci! My it's been a long time hasn't it?" his voice had matured since their last encounter being deeper but not too deep, tail wagging as he rolled over to now face her, his paws out stretched in front of him. The grey now dusty brown due to no moisture in the earth they laid upon currently. "How've you been since our last encounter so long ago?" he tried to make conversation but not seeing someone in such a long time was hard, and he had to keep his comments respectful towards his beta fae or risk being punished, of course how much respect could this jesterish varg dish out, he wasn't too sure but he would try his hardest. He was always the joker and the goofy, flirty male though his build and stealth had made him the packs lead hunter and he had put that title to good use when he was in the boarders trying to catch what he could when possible. Chocolate ears perked forward as a bird flew past to perch in a tree branch not far from them, it's song sounded nice but it seemed annoyed and the varg could sympathize with it, the heat was wretched today and all of the lera had to put up with it, including the arctic fae "You must be terribly warm....your coat is still so thick!" he found himself exclaiming to Exerci, winter graced vargs with fluffy thick coats and when spring came those coats left them for thinner more cooling coats but hers was so much more fluffier then his own and he was dying of heat...imagine poor Exerci. ((sorry for the wait))
