First thing - I draw (and paint) rather sporadically, so I can't promise regular updates. I'll start with a drawing I did a bit more than a month ago when I was in a drawing phase. ^_^
The Tetons - drawn with charcoal pencils. (This is a picture of the drawing - which was drawn with reference to a postcard.)

Hehe, yup. ^_^ I just wish I had a scanner - instead of having to take pictures of my drawings... hmm, I think my Dad might have one... But yeah, I love this picture too - I might have to show you the postcard I drew it from. It's quite pretty - and isn't black and white.

Those are both lookin' really good, Mist! I've tried charcoal in the past and can't control it very well, so you definitely get bonus points there Keep it up - and keep updating. I love landscape, nature-y pictures.

Koiji - I believe you did too. Thanks again, beautiful!
Dak - Well, I did use an actual charcoal pencil, so that helps ^_^ Thanks a lot though! This one's for you An actual picture of the Tetons this time. Quite a different view - one I grew up with. And a guy that was in my yard yesterday. And the others. Yay Elk and their beautiful velvet antlers at this time of year!

Oh, I used a pencil too - I'm just a hopeless case There was charcoal dust EVERYWHERE. Such pretty mountains. I've got a nice view of Mt. Rainer from my house - but no mountain ranges. I bet you enjoyed waking up to that on clear mornings. Ooh Elk! I've always found it interesting that the velvet on their antlers is actually alive. It bleeds and whatnot just as skin does. Makes me wonder how it doesn't hurt when they get to scraping it all off - but I've read that it itches them more then anything.

Aww. Well, the first time I used charcoal I was in art class - so I think that helped. I got some instruction instead of just trying to figure it out on my own. Goodness, yes, I couldn't agree more. Some days I just look at the mountains and am amazed at how beautiful they are. Right now especially - there's tons of snow on them. A lot more than usual. This isn't really the "classic" view of them. I imagine I'll post a picture of it at some point. I really like this one though - so dramatic. Wow... I might have heard that before, but I didn't "know" it. Yes, it really is amazing. I'm sad my pictures of them are kinda blurry. I zoomed in to get as much detail as possible, so that's why. (Eh, yeah. We have to fence in our trees ever fall because they come through our yard and will rub their antlers against our trees and kill them if they weren't protected.)

Oh, I love those!
Shadowfax's muzzle especially is ace; the muzzle is always one of the hardest parts for me when drawing horses. He must be arabian or have some in him, that dished nose just cries arab. More horses!

Thanks WB ^_^ Heh, I can tell you hang out with horses. Yes, Shadow's arabian. Eh, I'm not very good at horses bodies. I don't know what's so hard for me, but it is. *shrug* I'll work on that.
