Appearance: Larger than most wolves and weighs 175 lbs, bulging muscles due to his lifestyle, white pelt but almost looks grey sometimes in the winter, brown eyes
Personality: Serious and quiet, interested in security and peaceful living. Extremely thorough, responsible, and dependable. Well-developed powers of concentration. Usually interested in supporting and promoting traditions and establishments. Well-organized and hard working, he works steadily towards identified goals. He can usually accomplish any task once he has set his mind to it.
History: This wolf was different from most wolves. He'd somehow gotten into the hands of man when he was just a pup. They trained him to be a fighting dog. After being saved by another owner, he was sold once again to a new master until he was a sled dog in the snow and cold weather. One night under the mid night sky, he heard a howl coming from the south and Maximus ran off into the night...and this is where the story unfolds. He doesn't know he is a real wolf. He still thinks of himself as a dog.

When Maximus was a younger pup, he got into the hands of man. He was playing with other young dogs until a man came along with belt in his hand. The man started beating one of the dogs and Maximus attacked him in defense. But the man used the belt and struck him in the jaw. Maximus was knocked out by the blow. When he awoke, he was in a train and he didn’t know where he was headed. But he learned a valuable lesson that day to never attack man when they had something in their hand. Maximus soon found out that he was to be trained to be a fighting dog. And for two months, he killed dog after dog. Until the men sold him off to another man. This one brought him up to Alaska where he was trained to pull a sled with other dogs. He did not mind working as a sled dog. And this was where he started to hear the howling.
