Name: Liadan (meaning “Gray Lady”)
Nick Name: Lia
Gender: Female
Appearance:
pelage- Glossy ebon fur
eyes- Bright golden
build- slender and graceful
Personality: She’s really quite the ray of sunshine, but she’s young and thinks she knows everything that there is possible. That said it is clear that she can be a smart aleck, but she tries her best not to be. Her over confidence in herself causes her to be prideful to an excessive amount, but what she’s really searching for with this is bravery and courage. She wants to be recognized as more than another wolf, meaning she‘s ambitious and a big dreamer. She’s also got a bit of a short temper, but most of the time she’s quite pleasant and a big sweetie.
History: A short while ago, Liadan was born in the mountains of Romania, shortly after they moved their pack to the other side, there the family grew holding four pups and five adults. The family endured only the hardships of nature, without the trouble of Man, until one day…
Liadan and her siblings had been resting peacefully, nothing at all had gone wrong yet either. They’d been living a peaceful life in conjunction to all the other animals that inhabited their territory; the bear cubs even sometimes played with the pups, which was odd even for a bear.
But suddenly, out of the quiet a shot rang out, Lia’s parents woke with hackles raised and tassels bristling. They were obviously not happy with the sudden intrusion of the humans, they hadn’t been by to hunt near the territory, and so it seemed insensible.
Another shot, and Drakia (father) darted out of the den to locate the humans, while Helene (mother) and Gwene (Nurse) moved the pups. Drakia was followed by the beta (Lucivar) and Daemon (Sikla) and the three scouted ahead to locate the human intrusion on their land.
The men fired at the three wolves, this left two dead and one alive, Daemon retreated to warn the women that they need to hurry. However, he never made it with his wounded leg and the dogs chasing after him.
Unfortunately the she-wolves were moving the last and youngest pup, Liadan. But the dogs could easily be heard, Helene darted off as Gwene stayed back to fight the dogs and hold them off as long as she could.
Gwene was tough enough to at least fight off two of the dogs, before the hunters were finally able to take her out, and soon the only other two dogs left went after Helene. She stashed Liadan in a cave and drew the dog away unfortunately to her other pups.
Satisfied with how many furs the got, they took the five adults and three young pups that they’d hunted and left, none of the dogs found Liadan. However the small pup was alone now, and couldn’t stay in this territory, it wasn’t safe near Man.
So Liadan set out then and there, she wasn’t happy with the trip, but she remembered a safe passage through the mountains that would lead her to a larger part of Romania, one that might bring her to a new family and a new home. So setting this dream in her heart and soul she left her old territory in favor of finding what she always hoped she would…
Now as Liadan searches for her home she has only just reached the lands where The Sight lingers as a legend. Now she settles to find a home, a family, and someone to show her bravery; someone to teach her how to have courage.
