KALYPSO EOS KALYPSO EOS
the name originated in greek mythology. a legendary sea nymph is christened with the name kalypso. eos means dawn, and the greek goddess of the dawn was named thus. Name: Kalypso Eos
Gender: Female
Age: Four weeks
Appearance: Her coat is luxurious and soft, and is the color of bruised ebony. Small ears are well-spaced, as well as her navy shaded eyes, and although her size is roughly smaller than the average, her bone-structure more than testifies for the growth she has yet to make. Personality: Blasé, unobtrusive, vigilant, and intending. Passivity governs her behavior so much so that, subconsciously, her purpose is simply to watch without directly involving herself until a moment presents itself that makes her intentions easier. Involuntarily, her individuality is almost calculating and manipulative, although she is too young yet to determine how she utilizes her demeanor.
History: It was a difficult choice only a few wolf mothers have to make, and although the decisions were difficult, it ensured the continuation of the wolf. The voice of the hounds shattered the cooler spring air, and the thunder of hoofbeats reverberated through the worn pads of an experienced mother like an earthquake. Man and their dogs were on the warpath and lusted for the blood of their fallen enemies -- a hunting party to taste the blood of wolf. Eternity held the she-varg and, in its delicate grasp, she chose.
Lyrics of terror choked her crying chords as she described her location to the stupid dogs, who broke off in her direction. But the call was not unnoticed by her fellow kith and kin, for the members of the pack sought through the forest at sharp speeds to aid their comrad, while others transported the week-old pups in gentle, safe jaws. The mouths of family. It is a sorrow, but it is reality, and a good narrator cannot derive from truth for the gaussian blurs of idealism. Most of the pack died that day, and the few that remained shucked their territory and became a smaller version of their former selves; less proud and more vulnerable than a single kerl.
But the pups thrived with help from a surrogate mother. They were healthy and hardy. It raised the spirits of all, except fate, who seemed to glimpse only moments given of false security to the dying pack. This time it wasn't man who killed them, but nature's own. An angry mother bear shredded the three remaining adults. It was not out of cruelty, but through important lessons that the bear lent her cub the freedom to bully Kalypso's siblings who had, unfortunately, been unable to conceal themselves during the attack.
How Kalypso survived thus far remains a mystery, just as her appearance here should just be wistful thinking. Whatever the cause, Kalypso isn't exactly looking for anything, never has been, and doesn't feel compelled to seek anything. She follows something no one can see or measure or describe, whether it be instinct or other. Kommer nærmere min venner og alle lytter... Come closer my friends and everyone listen...
