Abeni
Cub-
Adolescent (in winter)-
Adult-
Name Origin- African
Namesake- Girl Prayed For
Birth- Middle of April
Age- Four Months
Gender- Female
Description/Cub- She possesses the middle aged cub build: lanky and long. Her pelt coloring is dusty brown and white, mingled with gray. Her eyes are gold speckled with brown. Large ears are outlined in black, and the top of her muzzle is gray. Her legs, stomach, and chest are white.
Description/Adolescent- Still possessing the long and lanky look she is now nearly the size of a full grown wolf and not as tall as she might have been due to lack of food. Her coat is much denser compared to the cub frizz, but her pelt has remained multi colored. The once dusty brown fur is darkening and becoming a richer color, whiles the gray coloring is beginning to submit to brown, though her chest has grayed a bit. The legs, stomach, and the under tail are still white, but her once frizzy tail is beginning to darken.
Description/Adult- She has now reached her full height and is taller and longer than many other female wolves, having undergone a growth spurt. Her face has lengthened, developed, and darkened. Scattered on the top of her back is gray, but the deep rich brown is still very visible. Her tail is slender and thick with very dark brown fur and tipped with black. Her chest possesses a bit of gray, but now some brown, and her legs and stomach are now a muddied white, while all traces of this covered have disappeared on her tail. Her ears are very large, bushy, and are a reddish chestnut.
Personality- Sharp minded and instinctive are two of her very strong traits. She is eager to oppose others and has little trouble setting right from wrong, though she has no place for all in between, making her not so open minded. She is very determined, loyal, and fierce so that she is very proud of all that is dear to her, and any insults will be greeted immediately by violent behavior. The endurance of the wolf helps her to conquer everything she fights and strives for, and she is always ready to defend friends and family. She can be very good natured and care free at times, but she is almost always seeking a way to protect someone and fight another. She is a good pack wolf and enjoys others company, but this has also disabled her so that she fights her packs battles instead of truths.
History- It was a hard winter for the small pack of three, and even though spring came many animals were late in returning so that the Drappa, Dragga, and Beta male all grew malnourished and weak. The Drappa, Abiba, the Dragga, Abu, and the Beta male, Abba, instinctively knew that there was little chance for the cubs to be born alive, and they became desperate, hunting as much as they could in hopes of finding food to fill them. There territory expanded and they wandered across the mountains and valley’s until Abiba was too pregnant to join them and they had to stay around a main area to hunt while she dug a den and rested. The hoped and prayed for cubs, and when the Drappa went into labor, snarling fiercely when they came to close, they all feared the worse. So after three suns of worried waiting, they were finally greeted with one newborn Drappa, her five siblings all dead. They were sad for the unborn cubs, but they turned to the living one with happiness and named her Abeni. Shortly after her birth Herla herds were spotted around them and food grew plentiful, so the starving wolf pack returned to strength and gave strength to the new member. She grew healthy on Abiba’s richening milk and when she was older romped and played and enjoyed life in a reckless and carefree fashion, wandering over many different terrains after the herds of herla. It wasn’t until she was older when her pack had held residents in the land beyond the forest that her first tragedy struck. She had been left behind on a hunt in a grove of trees and many days had passed. She didn’t worry, but her gut began to gnaw at her conscious until she could no longer stand it and took up her families’ faint scent. After many lonely suns she found their carcass’s torn and bloody. Food had been scarce again that moon, and in the desperate need to feed themselves again, the very small pack had taken on a bull moose. Grieving and still hungry she stayed by their dead bodies until she finally had to look to the living also: herself. She filled herself on their carcass’s and once again began to wander by herself.
