Cal turned his gaze from her, it was truely awkward. He couldn't possibly imagine how it would feel if the varg you loved couldn't remember you considering he's never found that varg yet. His past didn't count if he couldn't remember it, emotions and memories all lost and forgotten. Could he ever possibly remember what happened to him. It was something that he was dreading but could he do it for this fae that he just met claiming to be his mate? It was odd and extremely confusing, seems like the whole world just came to him all of a sudden. All this information on who he is but never really leading to why he was like this in the first place. He felt sympathetic for Uski, but at the same time he can't possibly force himself to be with her. Yet she has hold such strong emotions for him as he felt it during her explaination on how they met.
"I just have to say sorry...sorry for what I did in the past." said Cal still not turning to face her. "I really don't know what to do, I really don't. My memory has been scattered to pieces and I can't bring myself to accept all of this. It seems like I'm learning how to be myself and..." he trailed off. Not knowing what to say, or act, or even feel at the moment. Will Tor or Fenris ever let his mind rest in peace? Uski then rambled on slightly on who he knew before his memory loss. "She's honestly trying her best, and she's desparate to restore your memory you dummy...you're no sikla..." His mind whispered to him, or whatever was left of his mind. Taking a deep sigh he said, barely a whisper. "Would you go any lengths to back the old Cal back? Say I wanted to bring my memory back. Would you aid me in doing that knowing at this moment I can't return your feelings and there's a possibility that it may never return?" He wanted her to say "yes". Without her word he couldn't possibly do it and he wanted her to know that this would be no easy task as it would be solely dependent on her. Would she risk her heart being shattered once more again and fight through the pain to help this varg that was once her mate?

She let out a sigh, the feeling of wanting nothing more than his touch once again returning. Her thoughts drifted for a moment. There was nothing she could do to change the situation. "what happened in the past, she gave a small smile, but he ahd turned from her. The feeling slowly dying as she watched him. So distant from her.
Uskiya looked shocked as Cal started speaking. His words striking the depth of her soul. Here was her chance to help him get his memory back. But would she get too involved? Would the end hurt her? But she couldn't be selfish now, she had to help him. For her sake and his. If even in the end he didn't love her, at least she would know, and the pain could at least begin to heal.
"Cal, whether or not you ever love me again. I will help you." She gently nudged him with her muzzle. Letting him know that she was here to help. That was her nature, to put others before herself. And here she was being put to the ultimate test. No matter how much it hurt her heart that he couldn't remeber her, she had to help him.
She waited for him to turn and look at her, they both knew that this was going to be hard and painful. She knew that there was a possibility.. she knew for a fact that things would never be the same. But that didn't mean they couldn't be better, it also didn't rule out being worse.
There was a lot of things that could happen, and she would just have to remember that love has a purpose, no matter what road it takes or how many heart it breaks.

Cal's mind raced with thoughts as time seemed to have froze. If she wouldn't help him then everything would be over but then at least he can start a new life and leave everything behind at last. But how many vargs has he affected in his absence and will his curiousity ever be extinguished? Eyes fixated onto the ground he awaited her answer. And finally it came, soft and gentle as the wind her voice rung inside his ears. Her words filling him inside and giving him some hope. "Thank...thank you...Uski..." He felt a gentle nudge at his back as she brought her muzzle to him and quickly he turned his around too so they made contact. Letting a low growl and giving his first true smile ever since he saw her. He returned his nuzzle to the scruff of her neck once more this time it was true. Knowing that he would have someone who loves him and he wasn't just one varg but one that was tied to many others. He was hoping to have her as a friend always, as long as Fenris and Tor are still shining.
He pulled away from her slowly, feeling the breeze remove the warmth that was shared between them. It certainly wasn't going to be the last time that he was going to see her, no...but now there was a task set for both of them. Would this really be the test for both of them? To once again test their bond that seemed to be broken and pieced back together infinite times? And where to start? "Ge-rad." muttered Cal out loud. It was his former home and according to Uskiya the place where he had his most cherished memories along with the waterfall. "Well, miss. I think I am ready for my tour for Ge-rad right now. Give me a tour. This time, not just the dens where I will be staying tonight."

At his response she smiled, his muzzle contacting her.For a brief moment she felt the similar feeling pulse throughut her body. The feeling she hadn't had for many months. It was moment that seemd to short, a moment broken by the cool air that seperated them once again. Perhaps what had just happened was a good sign. Perhaps things could once again be good.
When he mentioned Ge-rad Uski nodded her head. Shaking out her coat and turning towards the many paths that led out of the small place they were. There were many places that she could take him, many dens that wer escattered about Ge-rad.
She nodded her head, Ge-rad was rather big and hopefully she could show him where he wanted to see. "Do you want me to show you Ge-rad just in general, or to show you anything that might jog your memory?" She wasn't sure if he wanted a general tour or somethign specifically, either way she would start by taking him to the clearing where most of the vargs would gather in number.
"I can show the the center of the terra and then take you outwards, otherwise we might be here all night."

Cal was happy to see the glimmer in his friend's eyes. A glimmer that used to shine when he had gazed into them. It has definitely been a long time since these two vargs had spent time together, and little did he know that he should start cherishing it now before it began to disappear. He was slightly bewildered by Uskiya's question then realized that they were in packlands and this area was most definitely bigger than he had imagined. "Uh...I guess, you can just show me around in general. It would seem like that you're the tour guide today. I'm sure if I once lived here then I must have been familiar with most of the packlands. Correct?" He had hoped so at least. Uski did mention that he was away a lot whatever job he had but perhaps there was something help that would help him? With her suggestion he nodded along knowing full well that she knew what she was doing, and he didn't. "Perhaps I would mind staying here all night with you." he chuckled. Such a harmless little joke but would Uskiya take it the same way? Realizing what he said he mentally hit himself in the head. Why on earth would he say that now at such an inappropriate moment?
(This was garbage sorry. 2 a.m. and I'm dead.)

Nodding to his reply Uski let out a whuff. Where to start? There were many places to explore, but she supposed she would start with the meadow. It was one of her favorite places to be in Ge-rad. The open air and the steady air that filled her lungs.
"All right, I'll show you the meadow, but on the way you'll see the meeting place." She smiled, there were many places she loved to be. But for now they would start with the simple places. First the meeting place and then the meadow.
Cal's comment shocked Uski for a moment. He had meant it all in good fun, but it hurt. Truthfully it hurt. It hurt because she missed him more than anything in the world, there was a giant hole in her body where he was missing. She found the piece, but no matter what she tried she couldn't get it to fit. But she didn't want him to feel bad about what he said, so she let out a chuckle, not forced, but not true either.
"So, the meeting place is up ahead." She padded forward, trying to fight off the drowing pools of darkness that threatened to eat her up forever. She acted okay, but truthfully she hurt deeply inside. Every word he spoke to her brought back memories that pained her. She burned inside for him, burned like acid that ate up everything in it's path.
As she padded forward she turned her head to view the area they were passing, memories, flashbacks, anything and everything reminded her of him.
