Brown strong and powerful paws glided smoothly over the deep snow. These paws belonged to the faithful emissary of this pack. It had been sometime since he had returned back to his packlands and visited his mate and cubs. Yellow orbs glowed eerily in shadows as he watched the silent lands as he crept slowly forward. From his eyes there were currently no scouts patrolling the area and he crossed the markings which meant that he had entered Ge-rad territory. It all started when a wounded faemme from List had come and brought the news that their Dragga’s son Kop had been captured by a human village. During that time everyone believed the young grizzled youth had been dead. But their father believed that he was alive, and since no evidence was found there was a small chance that the mann could still be alive. Extremely determined to find his son, Draeg left that very same day went to rescue his son from the human village. The time was not so convenient since the war between the rival packs were about to start but even so he would pursue his quest to return his son.
Ever since he left, the pack had not been the same. Their Drappa Cwen had been plagued with grief after her only son in her litter had been attacked by a lynx and with his departure the alpha had been deep in sorrow. So the next day, Cal decided to depart and find Draeg and help him find his son. However, the past week there was no such luck. The brown he-varg soon found it amazing how far one can travel in one day. After many suns and moons he had no trace of Draeg, Kop, or any of the humans. He soon decided to give up and return to his pack. His pack (particularly his mate and cubs) had no idea of his departure and it would be best to return to let them know that he was alive and well.
Cal panted slightly as he finally arrived at his destination. A few days of travel in this weather didn’t do him any good either. For some reason the packlands seemed a bit empty and he padded onward he hoped that his packmates were still here. Taking a deep sigh he raised his head and let out a loud and long howl to alert everyone that he had returned.
(It's been a whole month, not posting for so long really makes a difference... )

Skep raced Fiercly through Ge-rad's lands. The call had been heard by the young male and his young muscles burned to greet his father. Father. he has never really been around much. Can you call him father? He hasn't taught you anything yet you still love him? Can you truly call him that which he may not be? Skep halted in the vast expanse of Ge-rad, his mother wouldn't approve of him running to the borders like this but there was little she could do to stop him. He had noticed that she had changed, she seemed more lonely and distant to everyone.
Skep growled, maybe if his father had been around he could have helped his mother, but now who knew where she was. His ears flattened against his skull and he deeply resented his father leaving. Though the young male resembled his father in build and coat Skep preffered to think of himself as somethng else. He was not the strong product of his father nor the unsure and unstable creature lke his mother though he carried her golden orbs. Only his golde orbs found themselves darting around looking for Chilaili. perhaps if he hadn't left mother wouldn't be as she is, broken in spirit. I've seen the way she looks beyond the packlands. I know she wasnts to leave. Or Ayasha, she resembles mother. I've watched her watch mother and begin to mimick the frailness. This whole pack is crumbling! Skep thought bitterly about his pack and his family. Aunt Lydair was rarely seen as was Uncle Koan and his cousins. Now his father returned and expected to receive a welcome lick from his pups? "Ha!" skep startled himself. He lifted his nose to the wind and picked up his father's scent.
Little Ayasha look what's happening. Mother wants to leave the pack and father is finally returning after dissapearing for who knows how long. She growled bitterly. Last she had known Skep and Chilaili had probably been out together. Her older sister left blind and deaf recieved the attention when she, little young Ayasha felt rejected. It had been the large black wolf that had pointed out that hatred between siblings was a sad sight. Who cared now though? Her hatred for Skep burned quietly and the emptyness she felt inside flowed from her entire being. Now her mother echoed the same forgottened feeling that her daughter had. Only her mother was more fragile. At least Ayasha thought she was. From the little Ayasha had heard her mother's life had been brutal until she met her Ayasha's father. But now her father had gone so many times it was hard to realize things could ever be okay.
Ayasha trotted quietly though the land she barely called home. The pack that had barely survived the winter and the winter still wasn't over. Now though the black fae with green orbs that gazed accusingly out at everything. As though being born had been an unjust thing, found herself on the trail of her brother. He too had heard their father's call then. Ayasha galloped forward with her long legs reaching to catch her brother. "Skep! Skep wait up!" She cried joyfully to her brother as she neared him.
Skep turned upon hearing his sister's voice, though she was family he showed little enthusiasm. He greeted her with little more than a look and turned from her now dropping face. "You heard his call as well?" Ayasha asked of her brother as she kept pace with his trot. "Who didn't?" I can't say if I'm happy about it though. What are you doing here?" Ayasha looked at her brother strangely, she felt as if another rifft had risen in between them. Her auds flttened against her skull and she remained silent while they followed their father's scent. "Why don't you love me? You love Chilaili, Why not me?" Skep looked to his sister as she fell silent but thought little of it. He picked up his pace and came closer to where his father stood. He paused at Ayasha's words and the view of his father. "Love? I know little of that word. This family appears to have none. I don't love anyone." His words were hot as he looked hatefully to his father who stood before both pups.

The harrowing call that blazed through the boundaries of Ge-Rad forest nearly went unheeded by the young she-Varg that slowly stirred. Straining forward, her roan ears erect, the adolescent frowned but thumped her tail on the moist loam, unsure if the call had been from the Varg she hoped it was: her father, Cal. Chilaili was not usually left alone to determine these entities, but both the Varg she loved and the brother she cared for had been slimly seen, if at all, by the silver cub. Hindered by sight from only one bright fawn-colored eye- for the other was a miasma of gray and white, swirled by the blindness that had arrived at her birth- and a much lower sense of hearing than any other, Chilaili was the eldest in the litter, yet would be thought to be the last to achieve her dream of becoming a fine hunter, and one of the only femme hunters of Ge-Rad. Her ebony sister, Ayasha, and her tan brother, Skep, were excelling in their early training and would grow to become select Varg for Cwen and Draeg, the Drappa and Dragga of Ge-Rad. Chilaili looked up to both Varg but with Draeg’s disappearance Cwen had become more and more isolated in her standing as Drappa, though recently had offered a full-pack hunt that the remainder of the Varg had accepted readily. Chilaili’s dam, Uskiya, had attended to the cubs of the pack: Kaemon, Koude, Kalli, Zenith, Raikan, and of course her own three, but it disheartened the femme that her father, brave and strong, had left shortly after the battles that had torn flourishing Ge-Rad apart, for she did not not know his true motives for leaving. Yet now he had returned, and the faemme would welcome him.
Although the darkness that shrouded her entire left visage could often prove to mislead her sure-footedness, the short trek was covered in long, agile strides by the slender cub, her jaws parted in a lolling pant as her petite paws ate the earth. She was agile and muscular- though, not in the sense of the other two, for her own muscles would help bring down lera and herla, not other wolves. Fenris’ glowering sphere reflected the dazzling silver of her silken pelt, giving it a sheen that was unbeknownst to Chilaili. Her muzzle, crinkling as it quested for her father’s scent, suddenly rose into the air as she slid to a stop, her own gentle tune, so like her mother’s, lifted into the air before she broke the note and lunged into her carefree lope again. The blurred images of two young wolves were immediately scrutinized as Chilaili approached; upon realizing they were her siblings a bark emitted from her bosom and a grin and flung across her maw. “Skep! Ayasha!” Her brother alone usually answered the well-worn cry, but Chilaili didn’t care as she bounded towards them, her laugh light as it rang in the crisp air. Grappling for a moment with the thought of missing the tan body of Skep, she mentally shrugged and leapt forward, pouncing on the fawn-colored male and covering his muzzles in licks. Springing away she darted into the playful bow of the young wolf and bounced back and forth before stopping and moving so that Ayasha would not be on her blind side. Gazing into the fierce orbs of her sister Chilaili did not care to challenge her but the encumbered femme would always hold the gaze until Ayasha broke the stare. Placing a paw forward, the silver youth’s voice grew soft. “Hello, sister.”
For once, however, the gaze was broken first by Chilaili, though she barreled straight forward to pass her sister. It was a selfish thought, she knew, but the more slender, long-legged Chilaili could always outrun the ebony fae. “Father!” By now all three cubs were reaching the height of Uskiya, though not the mass, and Chilaili strained to lick her father’s mottled chin before nuzzling his shoulder. “Where have you been?”

Uskiya trotted to hte mouth of her den to wake her pups. As she stuck her nose in to nudge awake the sleeping pups. She backed out of the den suddenly, her pups were gone!
"Skep, Ayasha, Chilaili?" She turned in circles looking to see where her pups had gone to.
Her golden orbs feel upon tracks that led toward the opposite boundary of Ge-rad, the one Uskiya usually did not go to. The one opposite of the one she had wanted to run past. I've probably upset them. Now they probably left to find their father. She thought as she took off following what appeared to be Skep's tracks.
The snow did little to stop the speed of the fae, her gray furred legs pouding the snow as her lowered head fought against the bitter air. The air was broken by the loud call that echoed through the Ge-rad terra.
Cal? Uskiya stopped, it was possible that her mate was returning from whatever dissapearence he had done. She hadn't seen him for a long time, he hadn't been around much. Not during her labor, nor the birth of their pups.
Pups, she had to find them. She lifted her nose up and detected the scent of Skep, it was very fresh and she could tell he was tired. She took off at a lope, determined to find her pups.
Are you going to live like this, unsure when everyone will eventually leave you? Her thoughs wer bitter but she felt fraile again. She felt like turning around and running to the other border and leaving Ge-rad. But no, her pups needed her, or at least she wanted them to need her.
She could suddenly hear Ayasha calling out to Skep, Uskiya slowed her pace and listened as she approached. Not happy to see hs father? This whole family is falling apart, just like my own. Soon Ayasha will be like me, she'll be shunned by her sblings.
Chilaili's voice echoed happy as ever, at least some one was happy to see their father. Uskiya stopped behind some cover so she could see Cal and the pups but they could not see her.
Uskiya let out a small growl and emerged from the bushes, she stopped and looked at her pups, then her gaze turned to Cal. It hurt to see him, after all he had done, he had left her without so much as a word. She wouldn't say anything to him, she couldn't speak. There was nothing to say. There is plenty to say. Tell him you love him and you're glad that e's back. She shook her head, she couldn't think of how to feel.

The last of his howl boomed against Ge-rad lands and very slowly Cal allowed his muzzle to droop as his yellow eyes scanned the scenery for movement. His breathing light as forms of mist floated into the air. Paws lying perfectly still on the sparkling surface. In the moment of silence, Cal soon swimmed into his thoughts once more. Thinking back of this whole adventure he missed his pups and mate the most on his journey, and a bit of guilt still haunted him as he left them again this time without even notifying them. But now, he was back, things would change and he would help the pack rebuild. Even if Draeg wasn’t here, Cwen and the Betas were and this pack can still prosper and be the Ge-rad pack like it used to be. But first of all, someone needs to appear and welcome their emissary back to his own packlands and show him that the pack didn’t died in his departure.
Moments later, still no movement. The land was as still as ever. Letting out a deep sigh he padded further into Ge-rad terra. It seemed like only yesterday that at this spot Draeg had said farewell to them all, it was this spot where Sarnes had attacked Ge-rad, but this was the spot where his dreams came true and he joined this pack. Snow crunched as he continued to scan the place where he called “home. Images of everything that happened before here filled his mind like a little movie. He missed those days and hoped that everything will be like the way it was. The brown mann found himself staring at the same tree for several minutes, snapping out of his daydream he let out loud barks to try and alert his pack of his presence. But just before he did, two forms emerged across the horizon. Letting out a joyful howl as he picked up his pace and came closer to the vargs. Coming to a close distance he realized that is was his own two children Skep and Ayasha. Wow…have they ever grown..It seemed just like yesterday when they were almost the size of my paw. Flurries of white powder flew everywhere as he screeched to a stop. His two cubs still moving slowly closer to their father. Ayasha was trotting along right behind Skep trying to catch up. He had growing into a fine Dragga indeed. He had almost a mirror-like image when Cal was his age with the exception with his golden eyes which he inherited from his mother. His daughter Ayasha also grown into a fine Drappa, she had a shimmering black pelt and her greenish orbs are eyeing her father carefully. Even though suns and moons have passed it seemed the problem with Chilaili and Ayasha was still here. These problems can be resolved, now that the father had returned. Cal was about to speak, only his son’s harsh words escaped first leaving him speechless. He noticed the look that Skep had in his eyes, the anger that flared and it almost resembled…hatred. Normally, Cal would have snapped at his son’s rudeness to an authority. However, no matter how harsh the words were, he was right this time. Realizing that he couldn’t blame his son for anything, he wasn’t here for most of the time and didn’t do what a father needed to do. He had contributed very little to this family ever since they were born and even with the war occurring. His disappearances left Uskiya alone, and in his mind he knew how fragile she was. Taking all the pups in Ge-rad while raising the children. Meanwhile, he didn’t do anything for her; he wasn’t a good enough father. Ayasha was just standing there slightly hurt at her brother’s comment. Taking a deep sigh he edged closer to his two children and said, “Look, I know that I haven’t been a good father lately.” Eyeing his son very carefully and keeping his voice low. “Your mother has probably gone through a lot of hardship while I was gone. I’m sorry Skep…I only wanted to do what was best for the pack. Only realizing now that I once again have damaged this family. I want to solve this problem right now, let me see your mother. I miss her…” Yellow eyes falling to the ground and eyeing the snow. “Just please let me see her…”
The sparkling white still filled his eyes as he couldn’t bare to look at his two children. Guilt sprung inside him and allowed his insides squirmed violently. However, a soft voice broke the awkward silence and a flurry of yelps and squeals made him look up. His eyes fell upon his oldest one, Chilaili now appeared onto the scene. Would she still consider him as a father after everything that has happened? Or will she like her siblings continue to give him dirty stares and make his life a whole lot more miserable. He looked as Chilaili greeted her sister Ayasha in a normal tone and went up and nuzzled his shoulder. Slightly relieved that at least one of his children welcomed him home he allowed himself to give the teeniest smile and returned his nuzzle and lick. “Chilaili, in these past few days I…” He stopped as he immediately spun around and saw something grey emerging from the bushes, it was varg-sized and its golden orbs (which had dulled) fixed onto his yellow ones. Uskiya had arrived. The cold of the snow worked it’s way up his spine as he froze on the spot He was about to move forward and greet her with nuzzle and licks but something about the look she gave him made him stay still. His throat suddenly contracted as he felt he couldn’t speak but a really raspy “hey…” escaped his maw. The fact that she didn’t greet him or say anything frightened him. Though the situation was awkward enough, he just wouldn’t say anything, he wanted her to speak first. It was a family reunion alright, but it was not anything that he had in mind.

"Father! How can you even call yourself that? How can you think you're still part of this family?" Skep growled agrily at his father. "Skep, how can you say that?" Ayasha blurted out even though she herself felt angry at her father for leaving. She looked at Chilaili who greeted their father, a sudden jealousy flamed up in the ebony fae's body. She turned to see her mother, the same look of anger on her face as was in Ayasha's body. What's best for this pack? What about the family?" Skep turned to Ayasha, a growl forming from his stomach. "You step down from this! You're never around either!" He turned back to his father, angry boiling over. Suddenly Skep felt as if something had been lost, his father looked different. What's going on? Skep turned to look at Ayasha then paused as he saw his mother. An angry look on her face as she glared at his father.
"Oh Skep, how could you?" Ayasha loooked at her brother, a pained expression on her face. She knew now that her brother was forever lost from her. She hung her head and whimpered. "Father, there is no family anymore."
Skep rested his golden orbs on Ayasha as she hung her head. His expression softened alittle. "Ayasha I'm......" He stopped and turned back to his father. His anger building again. "She's right you know. Ther eis no family anymore! No wonder mother wants to leave this place. She stands out there by the borders everyday wishing she could run away!" Skep yelled, he himself wshed he could run away. "I took care of my sisters because of you and your cause for this pack! This pack that is dead. It's too late to do anything to help."
"There never was a family. You were never around." Ayasha let out a growl at her father. You wouldn't know, you couldn't know. Mother hurts inside, I hurt inside. I've seen the way she looks out there. Ayasha glared at her sister, she was only one loving their father. Ayasha let out a barely audible growl to her sister. "You, you take everything. You took Skep from me." She took a step toward her sister with er tail raised.

So you've decided to return? Thinking that you could slip back into life? Her thoughts were bitter for her mate, if she could even till call him that. She didn't care if he felt her anger and all he could say was hey. Uskiya stayed silent as her pups, at least Skep and Ayasha riculed ther father. Poor Chilaili was merely happy that her father returned. Perhaps she had no heart for anger. At Skep's harsh words to his father Uskiya flintched. "Skep, you have his blood in you, show some respect!" Her tone was tight and she said what she did not on ehalf of Cal but in trying to keep this family together. "Skep! Don't ever tellyour sister something like that again!" Uskiya snapped at Skep, her anger boiliing that everything was faliing apart. She looked to Cal. "You see this? This family is falling apart. Do you know why? Because you weren't around. Your never around!" Her tone had risen and everything inside her hurt. Skep continued to yell, speaking of his mother's border watches. Uskiya looked to him, he had grown so much, but without a father around she feared he had grown too much. "Maybe you shouldn't have returned. We might have been better off." Something inside Uskiya grew, the pain seemed to be crushing her, everyone she loved seemed to leave. "You see what you did to this family? Things would've been beter off if you and I had never met in the first place!" She growled at him, her auds pinned back against her skull. Her black lips pealed back to revelal ivory fangs. "I never asked to be loved, if being loved brought this than things would've been better if my sister would've let me drown. You come back like everythings okay after leaving us again aand again! Where were you when the pups were born or when Draeg had to give his fur so OUR pups wouldn't freeze to death? That should've been your fur! Skep looks like you, but I question if you really are his father! You're never around to act like one! Mayan was wrong!" She stopped, the anger still boiling. "You want to be father now? Fine! Then take care of them! I wish you had never come back!" She turned and cantered away from them, though she didn't get far.
There was snow covered brush twleve feet from where her broken family was, she darted behind it to hide. They couldn't see her unless they searched. But with all the pain she had, there was still something that wouldn't let her completely leave. Perhpas it was her pups. she couldn't leave them.

The flurry of voices, dulled and incoherent, frightened the yearling as her silver ears pulled tight against her skull. Grimacing as tension boiled, Chilaili strained in desperation to comprehend the words that flew back and forth, low and tight. Looking up, a silver-blue orb met her father’s ocher ones as she saw his lips twist in words, but she stumbled backwards, her graceful head swinging from side to side as she suppressed whimpers. The glowering sage of her sister’s eyes snatched the confusion and threw it aside as the hindered she-cub gentle gaze lowered. Skep’s course growls were heard but not deciphered; again the fae was lost in a miasma of voices and sounds that she didn’t want to hear at all. It was finally Skep’s voice, her gentle brother, his harsh yells, which were heard clearly. ”No, Skep!” Chilaili cried, her voice quivering. ”There is a family, so long as we hold ourselves together! We have to make sacrifices for the sake of love…otherwise, what is the meaning of family?” A sudden slow, deliberate movement caused the blind femme to crane her head and side step, caused her to turn and stare at the sister that she wanted to love, that her heart pressed her to love. Ayasha was constantly bitter and harsh to the elder femme, whilst Chilaili was polite, though distant in her words. Ayasha’s challenging, dominant stance lit, for, perhaps, the first time, a flurry of anger in the silver youngling’s heart. “Why do you hate me so, sister? What have I ever done to you? Ayasha, you know I cannot fight you. That I will not fight you. So why do you insist on this feud?” Again the roar of yells crashed into her mind, though this time they were easily noted, for the deep and loud octaves were heard. Lips quivering, Chilaili watched in despair as her mother shouted bitterly to her sire, to her father, that it was his fault. Limbs shaking, the she-cub fought against the torrent of emotions that threatened to flood from her.
No!![/b] She screamed at last, throwing herself between Cal and Uskiya. Facing the latter, she gazed at her mother, sorrow wrought in her melancholy eyes. ”Mother, no…please.” Chilaili whispered, pleading. “This family needs to work. Look around you- it’s nobody’s fault…” Uskiya bounded into the bracken, and as the pup closed her eyes, she found herself horribly, and unquestionably, alone. [/color]

"Why is it...that we are all fighting amongst ourselves...?" came a small growl as the Sikla of the lands aproached the gathering of family. She vaugly remembered Cal, had been well-aquainted with Uskiya, and only met the cubs when they had no ability to meet the disgrace of a Varg so-called Yelae. There was nothing wrong with her position, but there was the faint thought at the back of her mind that her loving mate, Shako, was pained inside that he, the Beta, had a mate that had sunken to low as to becoming the Omega. But how should one treat her? She was the Sikla, the punchbag of the pack, but her mate was the male Beta. A rather confusing situation.
She watches as the mother leaves the group, and watched the group with painful blue-green eyes, filled with a strange feeling of pain and uncertainty. Suddenly, she draws her ears back and crouches, legs bent, tail tucked in pathetically as she gazes at the others, eyes casted down. Ashamed, she lets her blackened lips reveal a faint whisper.
"I-I'm sorry, I meant not to intrude...but, why must we fight so? Life has been...turmoil, a fiasco within these lands, and all I seem to happen upon is bitter fighting..." she takes a step back, eyes not catching any contact with the Vargs, not even the cubs, though they did grace over their bodies just to see how their appearances has changed since she last had seen them. Ever the pacifist, she hated fighting, hated war, and the only reason why she did not flee was because this was her only family, yet it seemed as though it was growing weaker day-by-day...
((Hope I didn't interrupt anything...o.0))

Throat still contracted as he could only stare dumbfounded at his mate. The look she was giving him was deadly, and it was nothing like he saw before. Not even in his worse nightmares would he think that this would happen to him. His two children still shouting resentful words, making him feel himself sinking lower and lower into the snow. “No matter how much you dislike being my son, you’re still a part of me. My blood runs in your veins and ever since you were born, you had the title of Cal’s son.” growled Cal. “Yes, what I did was best for my pack. I have indeed once again damaged this family; I shall take full responsibility for it. Now, I assume that the words you’re shouting me will help this family? It seems you haven’t changed at all since I left, I see you won’t change unless this father teaches you a few lessons on courtesy and respect.” No sooner did Skep in his rage blame his sister, accusing her for the wreckage in their relationships. Anger boiled to his point as the large brown male moved closer to his smaller clone, his yellow orbs flashing dangerously it fell onto his son. “DON’T YOU EVER YELL AT YOUR SISTER LIKE THAT AGAIN! I’VE GOT A GOOD MIND TO GIVE YOU A GOOD CUFFING! NOW IF YOU DON’T LEARN TO KNOW YOUR PLACE AND THE WORD RESPECT, IT LOOKS LIKE ME BEING A FATHER NEED TO A LOT OF TEACHING TO HIS CUBS.” Rage still burning beneath his fur. He could not believe that after so long his son still haven’t learned the way how things were suppose to go. Instead only blaming his love ones and showing disrespect to everyone around him. Though through all this, he was the one to blame. He didn’t his job as a father to teach him all these things and still staring at young adolescent. He was towering over his two cubs, while Chilaili was still standing a few feet behind him. Instinctively, Uskiya being their mother had almost said the same amount. But, her angry words did not only flare at Skep…but at him too.
"You see what you did to this family? Things would've been better off if you and I had never met in the first place!
"Maybe you shouldn't have returned. We might have been better off."
The words hit him real hard as she spoke. He couldn’t believe it, after all that they’ve been through these years she will not forgive him. For the first time his life he saw her bare her ivory fangs at him, giving a menacing snarl to hint him to back away from her. He had done everything he could be this pack, and even if he didn’t do his job as a father, he did return. Not only did they not greet him, they blamed him for all he had done, for his good intentions. His yellow orbs still staring at the grey fae, and everything had a first time he felt his small tinge of anger flare in her direction. Everything that he had in the past was shattering now, like delicate glass it blew up into a thousand pieces and flew into different direction. Happy moments faded slowly from his mind, as his mate’s words had destroyed everything. She had taken the love that she gave him in the past, and every horrible feeling such as anger and sadness filled its place. Outside he still staring dumbfounded at her, his mind still failing to accept the truth that came from his ears. “It was extremely hard to travel couple hundred meters from an enemy pack to deliver the fur for our pups when I was captured.” said Cal with a faint snarl. “I don’t believe that everything that we’ve been through you cannot forgive me for this incident. Saying that this family is coming apart, now that I’ve returned we can become a whole once again, but I seem to not get the chance to do that.”
At everyone’s flurry of angry shouts, Chilaili was the only one that was trying to talk some sense into people. The one that cared most about this family, during this heated argument the silver cub had thrown herself between her mother and father doing her best to try and resolve the issue. “Listen to Chilaili; she has more sense than all of us combined. Why are we even doing this? Do we need to push our rage to such limits, until it consumes us all and this family will be truly destroyed?” But his silver mate refused to listen them, and with her last shout of angry words she left the clearing and his daughter, closing both of her eyes fell to the ground. Slowly he moved toward her and gave her soft nudges with the tip of his muzzle trying to calm his heart-broken cub as the other two stood to the left of them, their faces expressionless. Ayasha still seemed determine to challenge her sister insisting that she had taken Skep from her. Devastated with everything that has happen, he couldn’t feel himself give another lecture about family togetherness and would only made the hatred that laid in his children deeper. A small voice as he recognized as Yelae rung in his ears as he spun around as he saw the orange-breasted varg approaching them. It had been some time since he had seen her and she was the sikla of the pack. To his knowledge she was the one that disliked fighting between vargs and would always do her to do “peace-making”. Though in his current situation it was hard to be understanding and listen to her words. Instead, he gave her a look that seems to say “Mind your own business”. Stepping away from his daughter that was on the ground he stood tall as he looked from the Sikla Yelae to the cubs that belonged in “family”. Taking a deep sigh he called out to them, “I’m going to be moving out of the old den, I think we all need to cool down and maybe a little time apart would do us all some good.”

A red hued wolf stalked through the snow, her bushy tail trailing behind her as she skipped across the tundra like lands. In her jaws was a gnarly twig that she held like a prize as she lifted her paws through the thick snow in a majestic walk. Her tail upright and her tail held high she meandered through Ge rad forest.
Kairi stopped and threw the stick up high into the air before jumping up and catching it. Growling with pride Kairi walked a few steps more before doing the same, but this time throwing the stick higher. Kairi's silver blue eyes were focused on the falling twig before a wave of growling and cursing was heard not far off. "Huh?" Kairi muttered as she looked around before she yelped in surprise. Kairi spun around and hissed at the stick, now stabbed erect in the snow. "Stupid stick" Kai snarled shaking out her muzzle as she felt the pain on her head begin to fade. Kairi growled and decided to find out who were arguing. If it were Cwen, then Kairi would have fun taunting the drappa again. If it were her brother, she could taunt him about Yelae, if it were someone else, well then Kai would just have to see who it was then.
Kairi trotted off int the distant forest and looked about. She looked out ahead before she skidded to a stop and did a double take of the bracken bushes. Kai cocked her head and sniffed the area. There in the brush she saw a silver-grey coloured ball of furr, hidden beneath the branch and snow. Kai scented the air again. It smelt of angered wolves, tension. Kai padded a few steps forward and looked to see a brown male muttering, a frustrated look on his face as he faced the smaller she varg, Yelae. Kai could also see the three pups of his.
Kairi licked her lips as she exhaled a breath into the cold wintery air. She had not seen the brown male for some time now, and she only guessed that his return had caused a slight uproar. Kairi flickered her tail and turned away from that scene and padded gingerly to Uskiya.
Kai cocked an eyebrow and poked her muzzle through the bracken, "I don't suppose your playing hide and go seek?" Kai grinned before plopping herself down on her stomach so she was level with the she wolf. Kairi didn't care about her role in the pack. So far she guessed that she was classed as the menace to the pack. Always back talking Draeg and harassing Cwen. She was quiet a loner as well. Though it is strange to know that Kairi was quite the playful wolf, and not the grumpy know-it-all she played to be. "Hey Uskiya, come on you can't hide forever, and really, you can't stay mad forever either huh?" Kai spoke, using her front paw and prodding the female. The crimson hued varg muttered, not knowing what to say. She had not really had much of a conversation with any of her pack mates and in turn many of her pack mates did not know much about her.

Uskiya looked sideways to see Kairi approaching her, she knew little of the she varg but held nothing agaisnt her and allowed her company and welcomed it silently. Hide and seek? I wish that was all tha tI was doing. She thought. "No, I unfortunately am not playing hide and seek. My mate has returned and well......" She trailed off and reverted her vision to where the other wolves were standing. Her pups argueing with her father and poor Chilaili. Her heart reached out to her eldest daughter. All she wanted was for the family to love again.
Kairi's voice broke her vision and her paw prodded Uskiya's fur. "No I suppose I can't, if anything I should go back out and seem pleasant at least for my pups. I'm sure things will get better, but it's hard when someone you love continually leaves without letting anyone know." Uskiya then wondered how Kairi had found her, true the fight was rather loud but after not seeing the she varg for a while it seemed strange.
"I know that everyone else is on edge and rather unpleasant but how are you?" Uskiya was genuinely interested and would rather know how Kairi was than bring her attention to the fight that still lingered.

Ayasha took a step back as Chilaili questioned her. "Hate you sister? Why do I hate you so? Look at you, or brother loves you more than anything and shuns me. You are the favorite of the pack." she looked away holding back a shudder of pain as she realized just how far she had slipped beyond anyone reaching her with love. Chilaili threw her self in between the fighting adults and pleaded with their mother to forgive him...their father who had left them. It was too late though, their mother left. For good? It was too hard to say.
" I see no reason for you to try and teach me what you lack yourself. If you had thought of this has been family you would've thought that leaving would only cause more pain. " Skep turned to Chilaili and hung his head. "I'm sorry Chilaili but it's true. Look at us." The sudden reprimand from his father startled Skep, he watched in pain as his father scolded him for speaking so ill of his sister. Skep, beng still somewhat of a pup did what came to him best. He tucked his tail and whimpered with all his puppy instincts surging forth. He slumped to the ground ignoring the appearance of the she varg Yelae.
Ayasha seemed speechless as Skep cowered in front of his father. Everything was falling apart and it was obvious that she would not be part of it. She went to leave but stopped when her father spoke of everyone needing time. Ayasha felt a surge of unidentified feeling breaking into her blackened soul. "Daddy I don't want you to leave! I don't want anyone to leave I want to be a family again!" She stopped, her ears pinned against her skull and her body shaking. She didn't know what was coming over her. Suddenly sh ejust felt like she had no control over anything, deeply she wanted tobefrend her sister and have someone to look out for her. But she couldn't forgive herself. It was the only thing keeping her from being as she saw herself, only no one would ever know that.

(not allowd one sneaking shhh)
Kairi grinned and gave her tail a thoughtful swish before sittig back on her haunches and shrugging. Thoguh it was quite a strange place to hold a conversation Kairi went on. "Well, life's been the same you know. For me that is... Though I haven't seen my brother in a while." Kairi said. She hadn't remember ever saying so much in a 'normal' conversation.
Kairi looked over to the little family and her face grimaced. It reminded her of her own family. How her mother and father began to bicker. How they had began to drift apart, growing from absenses. And when one returned the other snapped. Kairi whined as she looked at the two pups.
Kairi whined for Uskiya, "Sometimes things happen, and well you can't really change it now can you? Whats been done is done." Kairi said, her silver-blue eyes still printed onto the brown father and his pups. "I wish my mother and father had made up. I'm sure they wished they had too. Now my mother and father are no where to be found. Well, after my father had been driven out by draeg that is." Kairi said dully. Her tail gave a threatening whip but she calmed herself. She didn't normally care, well she used too. But now Uskiya's problem was something Kairi wanted to help solve. Perhaps it was because she knew what the outcome would be, and that she knew the feeling, to have a family break apart without even taking the first step and try to mend.
"Come on Uskiya. No use hiding." Kairi whispered and gave a grin. THe red varg got up, her eyes still shimmering with the mischivious spark she always carried.
