Uskiya slept inside of her whelping den, her pups close beside her. Soon they would gain their sight and they would be able to venture outside and meet their pack. With this Uskiya also hoped to meet the pups of Ge-rad. So when her nursing duties returned she would be able to do her duty well. Her pups were stronger now and growing, still helpless in their blindness and deafness. The still born pup had been buried.
The Ge-rad lands were slightly calmer, at least to the gray fae's knowledge. After Cal had been discovered the pups were allowed to meet their father. Uskiya hoped that Ayasha would find comfort with him. She seemed to stay back from her siblings and the mother worried that this might cause problems in the future. Perhaps when the pups were old enough to pllay outside Uskiya could spend time with Cal. It had been a long time since she had been able to really talk to him. Uskiya also wished that Lydair would be around to spend time with the pups and become their aunt. There was also the problem of winter coming, her pups would need to be strong to survive.
The fae awoke suddenly, many thoughts keeping her from sleep. Though sleep was pointless now. She felt as though something would happen today, something that would bring much excitement to her and Cal. Her glden orbs adjusted to the light filtering in from the mid morning day. Outside she felt the cold air filtering in. Fearing to keep her pups warm she turned so that her back was to the den entrance. "Morning my pups." She talked to them, even if they couldn't hear her, ther was something that made her feel better when she spoke to them. When Cal awoke she would speak with him, it had been awhile since she had known of him. She knew as Emissary he would be gone a lot, but he had been gone to long this time. "Wake my little ones." She nudged her pups so they would wake and perhaps see the light of the day.
(((please let my pups and Cal post first)))

Silver fur, etched with streaks of an ivory tan, rose and fell with the subtle breathing of young Chilaili. Her ears flicked as she dreamt; paws softy scratched at the earthen den and she could scent the comforting presence of her mother, Uskiya, and her brother and sister, Skep and Ayasha. Chilaili, although infinitely close to her brother Skep, would always be hesitant to interact with Ayasha; something would always flare between them, and the hindered youth would never be able to tell exactly what stopped their sisterly relationship…
Blinking for the first time, the silver she-cub yawned widely, her once-sealed lids revealing eyes that now eagerly caught the amber rays that glistened from the fiery eye of Fenris. Her left eye, and eerie but beautiful silver, held no sight; Chilaili yelped suddenly, rubbing her eye with a paw tenderly, desperate to free herself from the curtain of darkness that entombed her. A pearly muzzle raised with a cry to Uskiya, but she suddenly calmed- she could see her mother. One lipid blue orb held the sight she longed for, and the she-cub relished her mother’s image, ensnaring it in her cub memories and promising, remembering, to keep it close. Looking up in wonder, a small smile crept across the youth’s face as she saw her mother’s lips part in words, but she merely cocked her head, unable to hear the delicate whispers. Confusion gleamed in her eyes, and she strained to hear again her dam’s words of awakening. ”But I’m here, mother...” The words were foreign to Chilaili’s tongue as she spoke them, and her voice sounded far away, faded, although melodious as she called out. Standing shakily and stepping forward, her entire face lit in happiness and she yipped, trotting on wobbly limbs to Skep’s side and nuzzling him.
Chilaili froze. Did another voice echo in her mind? The she-cub’s ears, although not deaf, held little of the complete hearing and although she could catch the wisps of the faint voice, she could not understand the softly-spoken words. The darkness beside her brought a yelp as she tripped and fell atop her sister Ayasha; snapping her maw shut to keep another soft cry from slipping out she slid to the floor and, trembling, rose back up again. She wove from side-to-side in a curious manner; her vision was impaired slightly still but, although haphazard, there was little chance she would run into anything…

Skep was sleeping when the nudge of her mother. He woke and let out a yawn, with a startled cry he jumped backwards tripping over his mother's tale. Small slits of light were filtering through hs eyelids. Though they still stayed shut at the moment. His head cocked as his ears began to filter in sounds of stirring. Everything was so strange but he couldn't understand what was going on. The scent of his sister Chilaili filled his nose and he felt her nudge him. She seemed excited but Skep could not see why. At least not yet. With a whine he squinted his eyes and jumped backwards when his eyes opened. The world wasstill somewhat blurry and his vision lacked the clearnesss. But that would come shortly. In these few days he would learn his sister's names and learn his as well. His sister Chilaili was a creamish color, though still a blurre creamy color. With a desperate effort Skep rubbed his eyes with his paws. Brushing out the darkness, he turned to Ayasha to see what color she was. She was a dark ebony small one. Skep could see clearer and he turned to look at his mother. Her mouth moved and he began to hear her. His lips pursed out and he tried to say anything. "Mother." He let the word out it sounded odd to him. Unlike either of his sister's Skep's eye color was that of his mother, a golden color thta would change with his emotions
Ayasha awoke slowly. despite the nudge from her mother and the attack from Skep. Her eyelids opened suddenly and the bright light poured in. She was the pup to gain her vision rather quickly. Scared and yet in awe Ayasha moved forward, watching as the light changed until she bumped into her mother. With a small hurt bark she looked upwards. Her mother seemed so tall. Her siblings, upon looking at them also appeared bigger than her. Her brother was the color of brown and her sister, who at first Ayasha felt a strange seperation from, was the color of creamy white. The black fae wondered why she felt so pushed apart from her sister, she barely knew her. Didn't know her name or even what she was like. She only knew thta she had little contact with her since they were born. But Ayasha felt close to her mother, she tottered over there on legs that didn't quite help nor hinder her. She curled up by her mother and with watchful eyes watched her siblings. Her ears were tuned into Skep as he spoke, his word so fareign and odd to the little black pup. She felt close to Skep but what she didn't know was that she would have to fight for attention from him.

Cal slept inside the whelping den with his mate and his three children. The dull light from Fenris shone into the entrance of the den revealing the five figures snoozing peacefully. The chill wind blowing outside could not reach them as the den was the perfect shelter as it shielded them from the elements.
Cal slept peacefully and silent as he curled up with Uskiya. Sleep was something that didn't come often for the brown he-varg ever since he returned to his packlands. The memories were enough to kill the spirit of any varg, but when he was with his three children and mate he could sleep soundly again. Shield himself from the outside world as he lay and hide in a world of peace and darkness. The scars on his muzzle and the rest of his body would always be a reminder of what happened suns ago. Thought he wounds were all healed, the inner ones will stay with him. Lately, he isn't feeling the urge to talk of any packmates, and if he did he would scold them off and prefered to be left alone. He even got in trouble with his Drappa for acting disrespectful, though right now he couldn't care too much. Uskiya was the exception, the only one who he can talk to free without feeling any sort of pressure upon him. She was his only love, and he could tell her anything. The only one spark in his life. But recently three other ones came along, and those were his cubs. He loved each one so much it was surprising on how out-going he could be with Draeg's cubs but so defensive with his. Knowing that Uskiya will look after them (as it was her job as pack nurse and their mother) he would leave these lands knowing that his cubs would be safe.
As moments passed on, Cal was starting to awake from his slumber. Very slowly, his eyes opened and tried it's best to adjust to the light coming from the entrance. But the first thing he saw was Uskiya sitting with her back at the entrance of the den attempting to block out the cold so the pups would be warm. Letting out a whine he got up quickly and went over to her and gave her a quick lick. Lying down right beside her and he gave her nuzzles and rubbed his fur aganist hers, sighing with content. Thinking back, it had been some time since he had a little chat. Maybe when the pups were sleeping, Uskiya and him could have a private word. He haven't gotten the time to really explain what had happened to him during his absence, and he wanted to give out a formal apology to her because he wasn't there for most of her term of pregnancy. "Good morning, how've you been this morning?" whispered Cal. "When you have the time I would want a private word." He was hoping that he could tell her the whole story soon.
Turning around he noticed that Uskiya was staring at, the pups were slowly waking up. Cal broke into a smalls mile as he watched them flail their tiny paws at them. No sooner had Chilaili and Skep said the words "mother" did Cal open his mouth in shock. He didn't just hear what he thought he had heard. Staring at Uskiya in amazement, he turned around and move closer to his pups, hopefully he could hear them call him "father" once.

Uskiya greeted Cal with licks, knowing that it had been a while since she had been able to do so. "I am fine, ow are you?" She gave him a concerned look. Her auds were focused on her pups as they crawled around. But quickly they tuned back to Cal as he mentioned private talk. "Private talk?" She questioned, though she had an idea of what he wanted to talk about. "Is everything alright?" She asked giving him a gentle nudge.
Chilaili crawled around before a squeak escaped her muzzle, Uskiya turned to glance at her eldest pup. A wide grin filled the gray fae's maw as she saw Chilaili's eyes. She was about to tell Cal when her daughter spoke. "I know you're right there little one." She said suprisingly. "Cal she spoke!" She looked happily to her mate and watched as her daughter tottered around on unstable legs. Skep appeared, opening two golden orbs that shone the color of his mother's. Uskiya gave her son a lick across the face. She whined lovingly as Skep spoke. "Oh Cal, they're already talking." She looked to Ayasha who tottered over to hide within the fur of her mother. Ayasha worried Uskiya. she seemed so seperated from her siblings. Wanting only the best for her pup She nudged her forward, hoping that Ayasha would greet her siblings now that she could see them. Now that the pups could see and hear they would soon want to explore. But with winter here Uskiya feared that her pups wouldn't be strong enough to survive. Carefully getting to her feet the gray fae strode to the den's mouth. Her nose graced the air, scenting it for anything. With a whine she returned to the darkness to sit beside Cal. The cold air brought the scent of the harsh coldness that night would bring again. Restless Uskiya exited the den's mouth to stand outside in the cold air, she glanced back to watch her mate and pups. A smile spread across her maw, the only worry that plagued her was the winter.

The blanket of looming darkness that shielded her silver-hued orb had now become almost comforting to the tan cub as she giggled happily and buurst forward with a clumsy run; unable to stop she fell into a sliding sit and came at a rush towards her brown brother; with a cry of "Skep!" she was on top of him, laughing gently before she decided that the flaps that would later become noticeable ears were enough to suffice for a sacrifice and she proceeded to gnaw accordingly, tiny teeth not yet completely burrowed through pink gums but there enough that his course fur was enjoyable. Growling softly she raised a paw and batted at his muzzle, parrying off the nip that would come if she continued and instead continued to climb atop his back, using petite limbs to bring that ravaged ear closer to her jaws with a mischevious smile; her cerulean orb sparkled playfully before she yipped. Stopping, she slid from Skep's back to stare up at the rugged brown form before her with a smile. "Father!" Chilaili shrieked, tumbling forward to land in a dazed fashion at the foot of his brown paw. "Daddy!" She repeated, softer, not sure if he spoke in return or not. Confusuion shrouded her face and she retreated backwards, trembling as her tail tucked between slender legs, behind her brother. Rubbing her unsighted eye against his side she whimpered and buried her head beneath his stomach; he would become her protector, and although she did not yet know she felt a severe attcahment to her mottled sibling than she did the ebony Ayasha; seking out her sister's small, frail-lookign form she smiled and yipped again, her mood once again bright as she dashed to the youngest of the three, again running haphazardly in an effort to see her fully. Running a short pink tongue over her sister's cheek, Chilaili raised a paw to bat at her sister playfully, barking with a puppyish squeak before her tongue loleld from parted jaws.
The absence of her mother was not heeded; she merely took a step forward, and another, and another, before she was at the mouth of the den, looking oddly at Uskiya with a puzzled look on her face. Wrinkling an ivory maw she yipped once before shoving her snout into the white powder; with a stratled yelp she jumped backwards. "It's so cold," She shivered, retreating a step. "What is it, mother? Skep!" She screeched now, whirling around to try to focus on her brother. "Skep! Come here!"

"You should make sure the cubs don't catch a cold," a quiet voice of a sharp-white she-Varg could be heard, quiet yet nearly audable. She had been hunting and found a rather sraggely-looking mouse for a snack...but you can't really ask much for winter. She might have blended into the snow altogether, if it wasn't for the fact that a rather unpleasing brightness of orange decked her chest, as bright as though it was living such as Man's burning flame.
Keen ears had overheard the words of a private talk between the two mates, and not wishing to disturb them, Yelae says rather shyly, "Would it be fine if I take the honor of watching your cubs for a bit...I know it may be much for them to see in their first sight, but you two have not been with each other for quite some time. And...we she-Vargs should look after eachother, correct?" she adds placidly.
The truth was, the maternal side of her was showing, and Yelae wanted to take care of these cubs as if they were her neice and nephew, though she vaugly knew the two Vargs that stood before her. But she had done nothing that would put them out of her trust, and she would like to know them better through this way. Also, knowing that she enjoys her alone time just as much as she enjoys her time with others, she knew the same would go between these two Vargs.

Cyan orbs drifted over the scene before them with a warm smile flickering across her ivory muzzle; small ears twitched and curled towards the sounds; the gentle voice of Uskiya; the deeper tone of her scarred mate; and, the sound that twisted her heart, the soft squeaks and cries of Chilaili and Skep. Worry now gleamed in the hybrid's orbs as she stepped forward, her head cocked before turning to Yelae with a dip of her head. Padding forward slowly, her own cubs weighing heavily in a bulging stomach, Lydair's eyes shone with love for her adopted nieces and nephew; she ahd often thought of Uskiya as her closest friend and regarded the silvery fae as her sister, as she did shako her brother, but the warrior had not been scene from the strained femme. She ahd not been around Varg for half a moon or so; wishing to lay by herself in the seclusion of her willow in the clearing where she had first met her loving mate, Koan, she could decipher the complex thoughts that racked her mind and think about her cubs; whispering their names over and over she would often sing to them, her voice a beautiful mumur as she would curl into a crescent, flicking her thickly plumed tassel over tensed paws and allowing its tip to brush against her nose. As Yelae gave advice to Uskiya, Lydair flicked her ears towards the fae's voice but paid no heed as she continued to pad forward, her smile exploding into a chuckling grin. "My, my, Uskiya, how they have grown!" turning now to look at Chilaili, her grin faded into a loving smile. "Hello, young one. How are you today? I am your Aunt Lydair, Chilaili- where are your brother and sister?" peering closer, Lydair saw the lipid cyan that glowed in the femme's right eye; the silver shroud that covered the other brought a small gasp from the Healer and she took a step back. Sadly she turned to Uskiya, though she knew the she-cub could get around perfectly well; she was obviously fit enough to follow her mother into the wide world of Ge-Rad, if not for the chilled banks of snow that lingered haughtilly behind, but none the less the cobalt femme's voice grew quiet and gentle as she spoke. "Uskiya,' Lydair spoke, "I believe your daughter is blind- in her left eye." The silver-tan pelt of Chilaili disappeared with a shrill bark as she sought her brown brother. "Though it should be no real hindarnce until she beocmes older, I'd be careful with her. Has Draeg told you when to resume your duties?" At Yelae's offer to watch Chilaili, Skep, and Ayasha, Lydair's eyes flashed an odd teal and she nodded to the Varg that she regarded as a sister. "Yes, I wouldn't mind watching them either; Chilaili can be given an herb to help with any pressure she feels on her eyes if she needs it, and I would love to get to know them all." The femme side-stepped, lashing her tail as she gazed after her niece; the youth reminded her of the cubs that were coming; it would be less than two weeks or so until the due date of the pups.
Frowning slightly, though she didn't crowd forward, Lydair peered into the darkness of the den for the raven-furred Ayasha, the youngest of the three that always seeemd to be close to her mother and distant from her siblings...

Skep looked quickly at the sound of his sister's voice as she cam crashing toward him. With a yelp he sprang to get out of the way but was to late. Chilaili landed atop him. Skep let out a grunt but laughed as his sister laughed. Suddenly he could feel the nawing sensation on his tiny auds. So this was to be her game, the game that would leave out Ayasha. But not knowing this Skep gave a violent shake to rid himself of his sister. She proceeded to bug him by swatting at his muzzle. With a playful growl Skep nipped at his sister but his tiny maw only found the cold air. But his sister retreated from the attack to greet their father. With a delighted yip Skep followed and pounced on his father''s paws. "Father!" He yipped excitedly before his little limbs brought him to a tumble a few feet away. He let out a laugh, resting his golden orbs on Ayasha. Wondering why she did not join. His maw opened and he was about to form his sister's name but it quickly shut as Chilaili came scampering back to hide behind him. He gave his sister a look of confusion. His little mind turning, it was then that Skep realized he had a duty to perform. He had to protect his sisters, especially Chilaili seeing as she came to hide behind him. "Chilaili, what's wrong?" he asked giving her a lick a top the head. It was beyond Skep's knowledge to undestand that his sister lacked the natural born senses that most vargs had. She had them now and would until they would gradually fade away. Perhaps it was this that had caused her to flee behind her brother. Or perhaps it was something else, either wa Skep was unsure, he looked to his father then to his mother. Asking with his eyes for some answer. Then her sister dashed forward to greet their other sibling, Skep hesitated for a moment before joining them. Chilaili dashed to the den mouth leaving Skep to greet Ayasha. He laughed and pounced on his sister. Licking her before his other sister's voice called him to the den's mouth. The cold air rushed into the little varg's lungs. He looked outside to the white blanket that covered the ground. "What is it?" he asked his sight resting on two other varg sthat stood outside the den
Ayasha watched her siblings play, secretly she desired their company but something kept her from doing so. Her mother left her to fend for herself. With a yip of suprise Ayasha watched as her sister dashed forward to greet her. A small wet pink tongue lolled across her cheek followed by a batting paw. Ayasha backed away to escape the attack when her sister retreated. Next her brother came to greet her. Ayasha smiled as her brother greeted her, she gave him a lick across the muzzle. But so quickly had he greeted her did he leave to join Chilaili. The black pup let out a tiny growl, the first of her jealousy against Chilaili brewing as she went to greet her father. "Daddy." She grinned and rubbed against his paw. Her black fur standing out against her father's brown colored fur. The cold air ruffled through Ayasha's tiny furred body, the air outside smelled intriguing. With a excited yip she dashed forward to meet the outside world. Other vargs had gathered outside and little Ayasha hovered bhind her sblings. The new world held many different things, there were two other vargs outside, Ayasha knew neither of them. They seemed so large compared to her little form. "Mamma, who are they?" she asked sliping back within the sanctuary of the den. The darkness called to her. She wanted to curl up and sleep again. Forgetting things that were happening. But the desire for attention from her brother made her reveal her nose to the world outside once more. She stood beside Skep, he being in the middle of her and Chilaili.

//Er, not very good, but I'm rushed. SOrry guys!// The clouds were just beginning to stretch spread out across the skies, reaching with their cold gray fingers. A hawk let out a single note of a monody as it steeped higher into the air, wings shifting for the right currents of air. It quickly became a dark speck against the foreboding clouds, leaving the earth far below in the clutches of winter. The trees had been stripped bare of their leaves, unable to mite the snow that had already fallen. The Carpathian Mountains soared upwards, their blue peaks mottled with snow. Winter had come like a cleansing breath to wipe away the weak with merciful power.
The eburnean wolf padded through the trees. He was small and slender, quick and watchful, and carrying in his strong jaws a dead chipmunk. Unlike most creatures of the wild, he was not so thin in the times of scant food. With his sharpening ability to hunt, he had fed himself well over the passing suns. Only when he had heard of Lydair talking of Uskiya’s new cubs had he begun to realize that she needed the food more than himself.
Trile had dug the chipmunk out of its burrow and killed it quickly, and now he came towards the groups of wolves, looking at the young cubs and not really knowing what to do. He never could understand what others were feeling, and so he awkwardly and almost wistfully gave the fresh meat to Uskiya. “It isn’t much,” he growled, not meeting her eyes with his amber ones. He was horribly embarrassed. For a second he stared at his prey and saliva nearly sprung on his lips.

Cal chuckled as Uskiya returned his shower of licks. It had been some while since they teased each other like this, the brown he-varg almost forgotten the feeling and eagerly licked his mate in return. However, when she asked him how he was, the smile faded slightly. Wanting to tell her the truth and the whole story on what happened to him. But he felt right now wasn't the time, and when the cubs were asleep later then they could have this "private talk" that Cal had in mind. "Yeah....sure...everything's just fine...." said Cal awkwardly. "Look, I'll talk about it later, but not now while the cubs are around."
Cal chuckled as Uskiya's reaction as the pups began talking. The three pups calling for their mother, as they squeaked and flailed their tiny paws around. Though Cal could see that the fear running through his mate's eyes. The winter. Yes, the pups would need to be strong to survive the winter. Also, due to the recent explosion of Ge-rad pups there would also need to be enough food for everyone and each pup had to survive. This was a small problem that Cal had thought of, but he wasn't too concerned. Giving his mate a small nudge and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry, our cubs will be strong and survive the winter. Everyone in the pack will make sure of that." Though the brown male as immediately distracted by a small form collapsing in front of his paw. While talking to his mate, he didn't notice his small Drappa crawl up and it toke him by surprise. The words that came tumbling from her however made Cal freeze in surprise. His daughter had called him "father". A smile escaped his maw and he gently nudged his daughter with his large brown paws. "That's right Chilaili, daddy's here..." growled Cal softly. Soon, Chilaili began going back to her siblings. But with the absence of her mother she went outside the den to get closer to her mother. No sooner had she shoved her snout into the the crystaling white powder. Giving a yelp of surprise she jumped backwards. "Silly..that's just snow. That white stuff that you just sniff at..." chuckled Cal. "It can get pretty cold out there so that's why you have to stay in the den." Now nudging his daughter back into the den. The other two cubs now realizing his presence came tumbling up to him. Cal chuckled delightedly, this is how he wanted things to be. Just him, Uskiya, and their cubs...
No sooner had Cal had this thought, a quiet voice echoed into the den and spinning around his eyes locked onto green-blue ones. It was Yelae. Even though she gave out good advice Cal thought that he knew it already and don't need informing twice. Just as he was about to retort to the she-varg he felt that she was a packmember and has done nothing wrong to him. The least he could do was show a tiny bit of respect. "Thank you Yelae, I am glad that you informed us of that." said Cal. Though as the she-varg continued and requested that she looked after their cubs, Cal's face hardened slightly. Could he trust her in such an important task? It was his cubs, the only light (apart from Uskiya) in his life. If something goes wrong, who will take the blame? Then again, Yelae had shown herself to be trustworthy and with her watching the cubs it would be a good chance to go out with Uskiya and have the "private talk" that Cal had in mind. Balancing it out his head and finally coming into a conclusion, Cal decided to consult to his mate. If she was fine with it, then Yelae can look after his cubs. Shuffling over to the grey faemme, he asked quietly in her ear, "Should we let Yelae look after our cubs? If she does, then you and me can go out and talk a little....suppose we can give her a chance...what do you think love?" At the end he'll let Uskiya decide, it was her who carried them and gave birth to them. She was the mother and Cal will always respect her decision.
A familiar scent and form approached the den as Lydair now came to see the cubs. "Lydair, how nice to see you once more...Well, I see things are going quite nicely..." said Cal eyeing her bulging belly. It had only recently came to his knowledge that Lydair was now the mate of Koan now. And very soon, they were going to have their own cubs. Hopefully, they'll be strong also to survive the winter. Lydair now had whispered words to Uskiya and catching little bits of it, Cal was quite shocked. Turning around to stare at Chilaili and looking directly at her left eye. Was it true that it held no sight? Even so the right eye did, and Cal's love for her did not change one bit. Though now in his mind he knew to keep a closer watch on her since one of her sense has been impaired. "Er...yes Lydair, some herbs would do some good." muttered Cal. "Of course you can look after our cubs, suppose that you and Yelae could do that together." Spinning around to see Ayasha questioning the identity of the two newcomers. Moving closer to her Cal said, "The one with the orange dash across her chest is Yelae, she's a fellow packmember and she's a mate to a good friend of mine. The other one is Lydair, she's a good friend of your mother and I and she's the healer of this pack. So if you don't feel so good, you can always go to aunt Lydair for some herbs. Just ask nicely!" chuckled Cal.
As moments passed, the group of wolves was still there, but soon there was another newcomer. Cal looked up to see Trile who has now grown and become a hunter now with his sharp hunting skills. In his mouth he was holding a dead chipmunk and when he approached and gave the fresh meat to Uskiya. Moving over, Cal gave an appreciative nod and looked at his mate to see what they would do with the meat.
(Finally I got this up.)

Uskiya chuckled as her pups found the snow, Chilaili drew back at it's cold touch. "Your father is right, you will see more of this as time grows on." Yelae spoke, her voice soft and her concern for the pups gave Uskiya a feeling of trust for the white fae. "They wont be going outside until they have more fur." She gave Skep a lick across the face before turning to Ayasha. "These are our pack members. That's Aunt Lydair." She smiled as her voice faded when Cal told the pups of Aunt Lydair's healing. "They are rather big aren't they?" She smiled to Lydair. Perhaps it would be wise to take up the offer of having the pups watched so she and her mate could talk. She watched as Chilaili entertained herself. "Oh Lydair, how could this happen?" She asked her friend, wondering how her daughter was born this way, neither of the other pups were born that way.
"It doesn't matter so long as she can live." She looked to her daughter,"Perhaps it would be nice if you watched them for a moment, Cal and I have things.." She trailed off as Trile brought a small feeding. "Thankyou Trile." She smiled and took the chipmunk. "Anything is greatly appreciated." Digging a small hole she buried by the mouth of the den, after her talk with Cal she would return to feast on it. "Lydair, Yelae, if you don't mind would you watch the pups?" She moved from the den, paws brushing the snow for the first time since her pregnancy. She worried for little Chilaili, no sight would hinder the pup greatly, but perhaps things would work out, She turned to look to Cal, giving a small whine for him to follow so they could talk.
She padded slowly towards an outcropping of vegitation some distance from her den. Close enough for her to watch her pus but still far enough away so the pups couldn't hear. (((sorry rushed, but I have to go)))
