(tis primarily for Draeg and Cwen, but anyone else who wants to join in may.)
The silver male was nervous and impatient; indeed, never a good combination. He already could feel his heart racing in anticipation. They had to know. He was a member of this pack, and despite himself, he knew that he had to tell them. The truth was.... Koan himself was about to have his own pups. How he expected to tell the Dragga and Drappa... he still wasn't sure. Cwen would be furious, for sure. Draeg... Draeg probably would as well. If they both managed to refrain from killing him, he'd probably be exiled from the pack, with Lydair. Best case senario was that Cwen got angery, and Draeg simply yelled. Somewhere in the middle were the other generalizations; the worst he actually thought of was being forced to submit to the one creature he hated; Cwen.
He paused, and glanced about again. He hadn't called them yet... but him standing about for so long... one of them was bound to come soon.

A moon roughly now had passed since the night of…well…since Draeg and Cwen had mated last. It had been a long night of forgiveness, arguments and forgiveness once more. Due to the last argument the pair had had, Cwen ended up running into the forest which ran alongside the great open meadow and fell too short of a leap she’d made over a fallen oak - causing her to badly injure her spine and chest. And now recently, the faemme had become a whole moon’s pregnant and it was only another moon she had to face until the day of her labour – which if her spine was still giving her grief at that time, would put her in even more pain than she suffered from at the present sun.
Padding swiftly through the Ge-Rad terrain, avoiding all of her pack members at cost and aiming to stay as focussed as she could on stretching out her aching muscles and scouting the territory’s borders. Her tail was held rigid as her pearly white legs cycled effortlessly beneath her slowly swelling frame, however she would sometimes jolt off course if a pang of pain would strike her back. Her steely grey orbs were fixed firmly ahead and only moved if something moving caught her attention elsewhere. Letting loose a deep growl as she exhaled a long sigh, sending vapours into the atmosphere with a cloud of mist she picked up the speed and bounded into a gentle lope – knowing now that she wanted to go else where to check for invaders.
But as the faemme leapt through a brush of shrubbery, she was caught off guard by the pacing presence of Koan and her lips pulled back suddenly as her teeth flashed into a malicious snarl, her hackles rising and legs stiffening as they broke her fall and straightened her form, tail rising in the sign of dominance. Though as her racing heart settled and her eyes took in the form of her mate’s adoptive son, her lips fell and she took an attentive step backwards as she allowed her hackles to slowly fall – but still her tail and auds remained erect as she searched him questioningly.
Cwen was well aware of Koan’s hatred on her behalf Knowing his reasons for hating her, Cwen could not help but agree to them. She hated herself for what she’d done, and what Draeg and herself had had to do - however much she did not want to abandon Huts to fight Serg alone, it was the mate’s only choice left. Letting out a deep growl, the two remained in silence for a few seconds more before she opened up her muzzle and began to slowly pad towards Koan; aiming to walk straight past him and carry on her scout. “Greetings Koan. I’ll be on my way,” she spoke with deep words – unaware that he wished to in fact speak to herself and Draeg.

Not far from the pairs position another varg worked its way through the vast meadow another figure padded silently along the massive snowdrift that enveloped the landscape, the only sound audible to his sensitive ears was the crunching of snow beneath his large padded paws. The day was gray and rather gloomy making it rather depressing altogether which seemed to match Draeg’s mood to the letter, if one were to have been watching the amber varg they would’ve noticed that he was moving a little slower than usual and though he still held himself in the same dominant manner befitting of a varg of his status it was obvious that it was only for show.
It seemed that all of the stress of running a pack was finally beginning to catch up with the Dragga of Ge-Rad, he felt fatigued and intensely weary from trying to be everywhere at once. The prospect of the upcoming war between Ge-Rad and it’s primary enemy Sarnes weighed heavily on his mind along with the well being of his pack, although life within the pack itself was going along fine for the most part lately there had been a great deal of tension hovering about the air, there had been a great deal of squabbling amongst the pack as many of the more active members seemed to be at each others throats for one reason or another. Things hadn’t been the same between anyone ever since Cal had escaped from Sarnes after being captured and brutally tortured, although most of his wounds had healed the once friendly and sociable wolf had become increasingly bitter and cynical towards his fellow packmates with the exception of his beloved mate, Uskiya, who had just finished weaning their first litter. Shako and Yelae seemed to be at odds with both Koan and Lydair after allowing the white warrior’s sister, Shunke, to come into Ge-Rad without asking Larka’s Blessing, things had become even worse upon learning that the black fae not only held the madness but was also a member of the same pack that had captured and tortured Cal. Needless to say things had not been going well by the time Draeg had arrived, and despite the fact that he had been able to defuse the situation the amber Dragga felt that a rift had formed between his pack that was slowly beginning to grow with each passing day.
This theory was only fueled on by the reaction he had gotten out of Kop early that day, he had been scolding his son for wandering off during one of there father-son outings, which he seemed to be doing a lot of lately, when he had noticed injured flank, Draeg had tried to find out what had happened but the amber male had already been angry with Kop for running off on him and had exploded at him without intending too. However it had only taken three simple words on Kop’s part to bring the argument screeching to a halt, it was those three words that continuously resounded in Draeg’s mind and were the reason for his obvious depression. “I hate you!” He couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t believe that his eldest born son, his own flesh and blood, despised him, the very though of it pierced the amber Dragga more deeply than any tooth or fang ever could. Since then Draeg had wandered about Ge-Rad aimlessly, Kop having darted off before anything else could be said and leaving him alone feeling confused and hurt.
More than anything at the moment he wished to discuss the matter with Cwen, his mate as well as the mother of his first litter and faithful Drappa, he hadn’t seen much of her since they had last mated and knew nothing of her pregnancy as she had chosen not to tell him, however at the moment Draeg merely wanted someone to talk to. He had caught her scent leading out around the pack boundaries and quickly realized that she was busy performing border patrol, not wanting to wait for her to return the amber Dragga had set out into the frozen landscape in pursuit of her.
Now, around two or so hours later, her scent was stronger and Draeg knew that she nearby, dragging his feet lethargically across the ground he allowed his tail to fall and hang limply behind him, no longer wishing to hold up his rues of false pretexts. He finally spotted her upon reaching the top of a low slope, she was padding along with her tail held rigidly in the air for all to see like some sort of strange banner. As he stared down at his mate Draeg couldn’t help but feel the familiar stirring in his heart that he felt whenever he laid eyes upon the silver furred Drappa, though their relationship had had it’s ups and downs they had always persevered and their love had only grown and strengthened with each passing of the sun.
He suddenly became aware of another familiar scent teasing his ebon nasal as he padded down to greet his mate, it didn’t take long for him to spot Koan pacing anxiously ahead of Cwen and instinctively the amber varg realized that something was amiss. Uttering out a quick bark Draeg made his way over to the pair where he quickly placed himself between them as to prevent them from going at each others throats, knowing that neither varg had ever really been fond of the other ever since his adopted daughter had past into the Starlit Path. When he spoke his voice was dull, somewhat void of any real sort of emotion due to Kop’s hurtful words. “What’s going on here?”
((Argh, this sucks so badly. forgive me but I'm getting major writers block.))

"Ah.. I suppose this is as good a time as any." He mumbled softly, his eyes staring vacently off into space. "I've been trying to pick an appropriate time to tell you.. and while now is no better then any of the others, I'd rather tell both of you at once. Makes everything a good deal simpler. " The steel hued wolf paused, and then took a tenitive step back. "Ge-rad is quite stressed as it is right now; I already know that. We have too few fighters and too many cubs...and as much as I'd like to regret it, we're about to have one less fighter and a few more cubs." Koan stood, and braced himself. "Lydair... she's pregnent."
Koan tensed now, but he didn't lower his eyes. He would not be ashamed of what he had done. Even if they would exile him... as long as his cubs and mate were safe... he didn't care. His stance was neutral, not convaying any agression or submission.
(... no, it was pretty good.)

(Your form of writer's block Draeg would be my best posts ))
As Cwen began to make her way out of the clearing, the sudden appearance of Draeg bounding before her and standing partially too in front of Koan startled the grey faemme and she stood back firmly with her tail and hackles bristled, teeth too flashing menacingly before recognition for her mate came to mind and she shook it off swiftly before giving him a slight nuzzle – remembering all too well the news that she still had to share with him on the litter that was due in a moons time. Though before she could say anything and hoping to depart rapidly once more, Koan opened his own muzzle and began to mumble and stutter out words that soon grabbed her attention faster. Listening intently at the silver male, her grey hues widened with shock as he finished his speech, standing stock still with little sign of neither submission nor aggravation. Turning her head with one swift motion to face Draeg’s ember gaze her steely eyes bore through him with slight distress.
The pack had grown huge in numbers and already it was hard to feed the entire pack – not to mention with Uskiya’s cubs and now Lydair’s cubs on the way…it would be even more difficult through winter. And for Cwen, her main concern was the safety and security of her own impending litter. Maybe, not that Koan had spilt the news on his own cubs, Cwen had to tell Draeg of her own litter.
But before she said anything to him, growling deeply she glanced at Koan side on and her lips twitched slightly as worried thoughts raced through her mind. “Why didn’t you both come to us and ask permission before you carried on with this Koan? You know that you must ask for your Dragga and Drappa’s permission before you have a litter of your own. The pack is already huge!” she barked angrily as the worry began to grow deep from within her. Her first litter with Draeg had survived and wasstill flourishing – what of her second? Draeg had told her not to worry for the couple had done nothing to stir the wrath of the Gods. But one God continued to crop up in her drams frequently. One that the Balkar, the very vargs that were after Ge-Rad’s blood, worshipped; Wolfane. What of him? Surely Serg had been preying to the demon God of darkness for nothing but his savage jaws to wreak pain and havoc on their lives since she betrayed him in Sarnes? So it was essential that things went perfectly for the safety of her new litter…and if none survived…she wouldn’t know where to turn.

Taken aback by the silver Drappa’s initial greeting Draeg reared his head back in surprise at her sudden show of aggression, confused as to why she had greeted him in such a aggressive manner. However he decided to let the matter slide, for the moment at least, knowing that Cwen had probably just been surprised by his sudden appearance hence the reason for her show of aggression. Returning her affections whole-heatedly the amber Dragga turned his attention back over to his eldest son, but not before flashing his mate a curious glance. Koan seemed rather anxious to speak yet at the same time quiet reluctant to say anything at all to either of the alpha’s, when he finally did speak Draeg noticed that he seemed to veer off topic as though he were trying to avoid getting to the point. The whole time Draeg listen intently to what the gun gray warrior had to say alongside his mate, reeling back in surprise as Koan finally revealed the reason behind his obvious hesitation to speak. Draeg’s entire body went rigid as he stared over at his son, who showed no sign of shame or regret for his actions, in disbelief.
Turning his head to face his mate the amber Dragga quickly noted the look of distress that was clearly visible in her steely eyes. Draeg knew what was running through Cwen’s mind without even asking, as the Dragga and Drappa of Ge-Rad it was up to both of them to make sure that there was enough food for the entire pack. Ever since their arrival Ge-Rad had flourished, its numbers swelling until it was one of, if not the largest pack in all of Transylvania. However with so many varg to support Draeg was unsure whether there would be enough prey to feed everyone throughout the winter, with such a large pack they would be required to bring down a large kill almost everyday to support their numbers. To make matters worse this would make things harder on Uskiya’s litter who were only a few weeks old and still rather dependent on their mother, the pack was already pooling their resources just to feed the new mother and her pups. It wouldn’t be right if any of them died after Cal and Uskiya had striven so hard to produce offspring of their own, after everything the pair had suffered they deserved to have their moment of happiness. Draeg knew that this was probably his fault for allowing so many varg to join the pack, however the amber varg was inexperienced in his role as Dragga and had been ignorant of how much he had been taxing the lands ability to support his pack. Still that was no excuse, if anything happened it would be his fault.
However Cwen snapped before he could say anything to his son, scolding the new father-to-be for his carelessness and demanding to know why neither he nor Lyair had come to their alpha’s to ask permission instead of taking it upon themselves to do something that might jeopardize the entire pack. In a way Draeg knew that his mate’s reaction was justified, Koan and Lydair had taken it upon themselves to sire a litter without so much as asking either Draeg or Cwen for permission. But something about the way Cwen was reacting bothered Draeg, it felt like something else had already been bothering her and this new news had just added fuel to the fire. It was common knowledge that usually only the alpha pair ever produced pups unless conditions were favorable for other members of the pack to do so, usually when this rule was broken the alpha female was known to confiscate the pups from the offending parents and raise them as her own. In some ways it was fair as the parents would be allowed to remain within the pack and watch their children grow up, yet they would live with the knowledge of knowing that their litter was being raised by someone other then themselves.
By all rights Cwen could take away Koan’s pups if she so wished it and the younger varg would be powerless to stop it without being exiled alongside his mate, still Draeg felt that she was being a tad bit hypocritical towards the situation and felt the need to remind her of their first litter. “Cwen, Cwen calm down. What’s done is done, we can’t change that. There still enough food to support a few more additional members, we’ll just have to expand our territory a little bit to make sure though.” He growled calmly as he nuzzled her neck affectionately, trying his best to calm his mate. “Yes they should’ve asked us or at least told us sooner but, I don’t know, don’t you think you’re being a tad bit hypocritical on the matter? After all we did do the same thing before remember? Everything will be fine Tora, trust me. We’ve been through worse.”
Turning his attention back over to Koan the amber Dragga gave him a sympathic glance, he had always known how much Koan had wanted a family of his own, when Huts had died Koan probably thought that his dream had died with her, however Lydair seemed to have rekindled that dream. And whereas internally Draeg was pleased to know that his son had finally accomplished his dream he knew that he would still have to punish him, if Koan wanted to keep his children he would have to face the consequences of his actions. His features hardening the amber varg’s eyes narrowed on Koan’s battered form, lifting himself up to his full height he spoke out in a commanding tone. “I know that you neither regret your actions nor are you willing to apologize for them, first off I want you to know that I am proud of you choosing to face us and standing up for what you believe matters most. Your family…” he began, an air of dominance in his tone. “However you failed to consider the current state of the pack and neglected to ask permission for what you have done, as such you will be punished. You will learn that needs of the pack come first. I will allow Cwen to think of your punishment, provided that it is reasonable of course, seeing as anything I think of wouldn’t be appropriate and would lean more towards your favor, however you not be exiled and neither will Lydair so long as you agree to the following terms and face the consequences of your actions. Do you understand?”

"Perhaps. I'm no position to bargin, but I do beg you remember, the only reason I am a part of you pack is beacuse my mate is. My actions were excluded from pack matters; at the time I was currently merely passing through your territory. If it must be, I will leave the pack, merely for prides sake. I will not allow anything that even remotely affects Lydair or my cubs. I would rather die then have them shunned for my mistake. Those are my terms; merely that after this, you release both of us from this. Let it be a dead issue, not one that is used against another. After all, the last thing we all want is a similar incident as what happened with your cubs." All of it was said respectfully neutrally. Koan was not normally bold enough to even speak to either of them; indeed, Cwen he held in slight contempt. But here, it did not show. Koan would not be publicly humilated for his family; he refused. But... anything for love he supposed.
Koan felt a flare of something both hot and cold fly through him. He was struck by the injustice of it all. For his cubs, he had already given one mate. Now they would punish him for what they themselves had done? The absurdity of it all struck him as hiliarious. Here, the damnable fae that had mated with his own father without SErg's permission, the one who had cost him so much... oh so much. And she was about to take even more from him. Was anything worth that?
(OOC: Quickly, before anyone else posts. Koan's meaning of the phrase "I was not of Ge-rad" means that at the time of mating, he was a Kerl. Merely meaning that it was obvious that he didn't think of a pack he wasn't part of. Just clearing that up. Gomen. *bows*)

Cwen looked to Draeg and saw how much he wanted to punish Koan, but only for Cwen’s sake rather than for true reasons. Growling deeply Cwen took her steely gaze off her mate and flashed a glare at Koan before speaking for herself. “I will not punish Lydair or you Koan for what you have done, no matter how much you deserve some sort of punishment. All I will give you is a warning. If anything happens as a result of this or if my own litter comes into jeopardy from it, then I will want nothing more than for you alone to risk your life for the pack. Already I understand you would do so, as that is how a pack member should treat their family. But I want you to swear it to us now. Death for your pack and family – not just injury…but death.” Cwen emphasised on the word ‘death’ as a long lasting breathe rattled and finished. Her eyes flashed as she realised that she had partly revealed some secret to the silver male, the secret of her pregnancy. Turning her eyes swiftly back round to Draeg, her lids lifted further in a widened gaze and she stepped back from the couple, flicking an aud and her tail in hesitation if she should speak further. But decided against it – just in case the males never noticed that part of her speech.
((Ok..a truly awful post! But meh, I'm rushing and this thread doesn't give me too much inspiration >.< ))

"You ask for nothing that I have not already offered." he said softly. "The instant I entered your pack, I accepted that I would die here. Not for you, nor for my father, but for my children. And so you need not ask for what you already have, nay, do not ask for what is a natuarl thing."
He paused, and cocked his head to one side. "But what of it? You litter already is in danger. You made a pair of powerful foes already; The Balkar and Sarnes... Let me offer this atonement. I am strong enough, and not faint of heart... let me become your spy. Amoungst the Balkar, I can gather a glean of information on Serg. How better to protect my siblings then to place myself as their first line of defence?" He turned his amber eyes to Cwen, and something different was in them. "I have thought on this a great deal. Draeg is your mate, is he not? So I suppose that makes you related to me... it's strange to think that. I'm related to you. Even if not by blood... and not by pack.. but by choice. Guard your pack well, Drappa. I dare not think what would happen without you." He shot Draeg a small smile. "My father might collapse without your help. Please... take care of him, when I die." He bowed his head to her, and then, swallowing his pride, he walked over to Draeg. "Dad." he said quietly. He lay down, and rolled onto his back, a sign of submission payed deep in his soul. "I...I need to apoligize. This.. is the only way I can think of."

As Koan spoke a furious growl worked its way out from within Draeg’s muzzle, starting as a mere rumble that originated from deep within his belly and gradually worked its way up his throat until it finally erupted forth from his muzzle in the form of a savage snarl. Regardless whether Koan meant to or not he was disrespecting both his Dragga and his Drappa by refusing to take responsibility for his actions, even if he was a Kerl at the time of conception that fact that he had chosen Lydair as his mate still tied him to Ge-Rad. Koan was no Kerl passing through Ge-Rad but rather he was a Kerl that had made his home within Ge-Rad, leeching off the success of the pack and yet not caring to suffer with them through the hardships they faced if it didn’t suit him. Who did he think he was trying and barter for his mistakes as though they were minor inconveniences? “You’re right, you are in no position to bargain with anyone. Regardless of whether you were a Kerl or not, the moment Lydair accepted you as her mate you became tied to this pack! Your actions were pack matters because they were also Lydair’s actions and don’t tell me that you were merely passing through because as I seem to remember you were living here the entire time!” He growled, his eyes narrowing dangerously on the scarred warrior until it seemed as though they were trying to bore through the younger varg. “You tell me that you would leave Ge-Rad for prides sake, but the real reason is because you don’t want to live up to your responsibilities and face the consequences of actions. Your mate knows that we would never deal out an unfair punishment so I’m surprised that you do, no one will shun your pups or you and Lydair for that matter for wanting to start a family of your own.” Fur bristling with rage the amber Dragga brought himself closer to his son until their noses were practically touching. “You’re terms are not accepted, last I checked this was our pack and not yours. It is for us to decide and lay out the terms for you, not the other way around! I have let you get away with more than most other members in this pack because you are my son, but as of today you will receive the same treatment as every other member of this pack!”
Through the corner of his eye he spied Cwen looking at him before letting out a deep growl and returning her attention over to Koan and speaking, the amber Dragga padding back over to her and taking his place at her side as she did so. Draeg remained silent throughout the course of Cwen’s speech, arching a brow upon hearing her final decree and watching as she rounded on him nervously before taking a quick step away from the golden Dragga. Something flickered briefly across his eyes momentarily and a hint of a smile formed on the cunning Dragga’s muzzle as he eyed his mate briefly before swaggering towards her gaudily, his tail flickering back and forth like a cat. “Exactly which litter are you talking about Tora?” he asked when he was standing directly in front of her, his nose merely inches from hers as a sly smile worked its way up his muzzle. Draeg’s tongue shot out, catching Cwen squarely on the nose and the amber varg nuzzled his mate tenderly, currying his head deep into the folds of her neck with a delighted whine as he awaited to hear the silver Drappa’s answer.
Again Koan spoke and again Draeg turned his attention over to his son, casting him a warning look as though warning him to be careful as to how he phrased his words. Upon hearing the scarred wolf’s suggestion Draeg’s ears shot up and he reared his head back in surprise, clearly unprepared for the proposition his son was offering. “Absolutely not!” he growled, leaving no room for discussion. “Haven’t you seen what they’ve done to Cal? I will not risk having the same thing happen to you! Lydair needs you by her side right no to help her through her term and you will have cubs of your own to look after soon, you have too much in your life to even consider making a stupid decision like this and throw it all away! In either case that would be a job more suited for a scout and I will not risk any member of my pack for a task like that! Even if you managed to sneak into Sarnes you reek of Ge-Rad and of its inhabitance, Serg would pick out our scents on you in no time and you would be tortured and then killed. As Dragga of this pack and your father I forbid it!” Koan had a brief exchange of words with Cwen which concluded with a respectful bow from the scarred varg at which case he turned his attention back towards Draeg, the amber varg watched in silence as Koan made his way over to him and rolled over onto his back in show of submission to his Dragga. Giving out slight snort and batting a paw at the submissive male Draeg spoke. “It’s not me that needs your apology, and quick talking like you’re going to die because you’re not. At leas not before me anyway, now get up and go tend to that mate of yours before she gets moody and hurts some poor soul. Trust me, it’s not something you want to see.”

Koan said nothing of his father tirade. He merely lowered his eyes, they softeninng with knowledge that he supposed he had to impart. "Nay. As much as I wish that my doomsday rehtoric was merely foolish dogma, I cannot. I'm dealing with an opponent far beyond my own skill... I hadn't really thought of it before that, though. Fools make foolish choices, I suppose."
Koan lifted his head, and sighed again. "That Dragga... Bryr....I'm facing him in the next few days. " He felt another stab of fear, as he stared up at his father. He rose to his feet, sitting, feeling like a cub who's just admitted a crime to his parents. "I..I had to. I can't back down. Cwen and you ask me to die for protecting your litter... then this is strangely appropriate. " His voce took a slightly pleading edge. "This isn't pack buisness. I'm not looking for any retribution if I die. I beg you, please... this is my fault...you dont need to waste your time on it."
Koan's eyes turned to Cwen. "I can't... I can't let him do this. He made a pact with Nocturnia... and plans to make one with Serg. He has become a dangerous threat to that which I hold dear; my mate, my siblings, my pack...and my father." He looked up at him briefly, laughing . "Not that you can't handle any half crazed former Dragga. Belive me, I don't doubt your strength... but I already challenged him. And... he is the link between Serg and Nocturnia. Even you, strong as you are... you can't fight all three of them."
Again he pinnded his ears down, feeling more and more embarassed and wrong as he continued. "I wasn't trying to undermine you; truely..I just wanted to stop him. So I challanged him on the spot. " Koan dipped his head even lower. "Truely...it was a fools manuever. Belive me, I had no intent of trying to disrespect you with my action. I...I wanted to do something right for once. To be able to protect that that matters." Indeed, the silver male had thought only of protecting his family, even the fae Cwen. He lay his head even further, waiting for the explosion. "I'm sorry."
(please, refain from assuming this is a challange to your authority. I tried really freaking hard not make it appear as one, as it not ment to be. Merely, it is a plot engine, to push his story along. Thanks for understanding,)

Cwen’s auds cocked and she shook her head frantically. “No Koan – I did not ask you to protect my own litter, that is simply something that I expect Draeg and myself to do without the help of others unless desperately needed. I asked you to protect your litter. Not my own,” she growled quickly, hoping to clear that up and avoiding Draeg’s tender touch as he caught on immediately to what she had accidentally spilled. Turning her gaze back to Koan she listened and her eyes widened as he fell into a submissive stance before the two, his gaze soft and fearful as he spoke of facing the ex Dragga of Ge-Rad; Brypaw. Sighing deeply she looked to Draeg and allowed her auds to fall against her scalp.
Though Cwen was the Drappa of this pack and she liked to be consulted of such matters before decisions were finally made, she couldn’t help but feel at a loss for words towards her stepson. Peering back at his sorrowful form, she allowed a light smile to wash over her pearly white muzzle before flicking her brushy tail. “Koan, if you have already challenged Bryrpaw, then there is nothing we can do for you. I do not take this as you challenging my authority in the slightest; it is something you have chosen to do on your own…though this too would have been a good thing to have consulted with us before you’d made the choice. But what we’re going to do to you I’m afraid, is purely up to your father…” she trailed off and sighed heavily before looking back to Draeg, awaiting her mate’s decision on the matter.
(sorry, my posts for this thread are jsut getting worse and worse >.< )

Letting out a slight snort as Cwen avoided him Draeg shrugged and flicked his tail nonchalantly, she clearly wasn’t in the mood to reveal anything yet but his suspicions had been aroused and at least now he was on to her. He was content to wait until Cwen was ready to tell him what he wanted to know, after all if she was pregnant than she couldn’t hide it forever. Though Draeg did whish that Cwen would let him tend to her for once instead of pushing him away. Turning his attention back to Koan the amber varg shook his head. “Koan, you are not a fool. We all make foolish decisions from time to time but the fact that you learn from them proves that you are not a fool.”
His eyes widened slightly as Koan spoke of facing Brypaw, the previous Dragga of Ge-Rad and Draeg’s predecessor. The amber Dragga listen to his son explain himself, watching as he remained with his back to the ground and his belly upturned towards the sky in a show of submission. Breathing out a deep sigh Draeg padded over to his son so that he was standing over the gun gray warrior, with a gentle nudge he motioned for Koan to stand. “Cwen’s right Koan, though this is both pack and family business it is out of our power. You made the challenge and the way of free varg dictates that you must follow through, we cannot interfere with your decision though I too wish you would’ve told me about this before making decision. This is not a matter of disrespect so don’t feel bad.” He swiped a playful paw at Koan. “Did you think I really wouldn’t understand a challenge like this, I had to fight Nocturnia to win Cwen there. And what do you mean ‘do something right for once’, you have a mate and pups on the way. You are obviously doing something right otherwise you wouldn’t have either of them, ain’t that right Grandma?” he chuckled, casting Cwen a playful glance before turning back to face Koan. “Just remember to be careful, Brypaw isn’t a push over like most varg. Even I barely beat him. We can have a little sparring match a later on if you want, I can give you a few of the finer points to battling those larger and stronger than yourself.”
((I'm pleased with this despite the fact that it's shorter then usual ))
