She was about to open her maw to state something else, but it was lost in Draeg's howl. Suddenly realizing where she was, Yelae was apalled at her actions, yet her heart now beat at a normal rate. Its beating had become swift once Koan had spoken poorly to Shako, and now it had dimmed after letting her thoughts out into words. She had defended her love, and now was not the time to continue arguments unless it involved her or Shako. Whether she had any bussiness with Shunke was entirely up to the Alpha himself.
Taking a step back now, she sat by Shako as Draeg spoke. Her heart flutters as he states that the Sarnes femme was allowed on this terratory without Larka's Blessing for today, and the fact that she was not killed. Though she knew that what Draeg's wording was to be obliged, she would have rebelled if he ordered her to death; no Varg could be so cruel. Once Draeg was finished stating what he had to say, Yelae meekly piped up, unsure if it was wise of her to go deep into the subject of him having two mates.
"Will it be okay if I stay here with Shako and Shunke?" the Scout asks, looking into Draeg's eyes, "I would like to know about Shako's sister, even if she is part of a pack that many speak so cruely of." Her eyes wander to the ground, "It does not matter what pack you are in, it matters what kind of Varg you are...one should not be judged without knowing..." she murmurs quietly, mainly to herself; she cared not if others heard it, however. Yelae was judged by her looks and her packmates refused to know her as well; of all Vargs, she should know.

At the sudden interjection and appearance of her mate, it brought a small smile to the hybrid’s face, but, as her maw opened to pass words to the silver-black warrior, he spoke himself, first of Huts and then to Shako- speaking only threats. Lydair was aware of his contempt for her white brother, but now she pinned her ears in annoyance and shook his head, growling softly. “Koan, don’t threaten him- or Shunke. You have a right to hate after Huts’ death, and resent…but, please. Don’t argue with Shako, not here.” Lydair’s hackles began to prick as she felt Shako’s narrowing glare, and she met it squarely, not caring what her father-in-law thought. “Spy or not,” Lydair hissed, “I don’t have to place trust in her.” Jerking her head angrily to Koan and he argued with Shako, the femme barked harshly; before she had been accepted into Ge-Rad borders she would have rarely stepped into an argument; the femme had gained much confidence and her gentle, quiet side had become rare- but she daren’t speak of the cause. Lydair growled darkly as Yelae snapped at her mate, and the Healer snarled at the scout, raising her muzzle as her ears twitched in annoyance; the white scout shot her an apologetic glance but it did little but add to the anger that flared in her heart; if Yelae knew she might anger the cobalt hybrid then why on Tor’s fangs would she continue? “I may have ties to Shako, but whether you, Shunke, or Koan realizes and accepts them are up to you three alone. Being ‘bitter and cruel’, as you say, comes after a malicious Dragga murders your love, Yelae. That’s what happens. You can’t possibly expect him to forgive and forget, now can you?” Piercing cyan orbs narrowed at Yelae, and an arched tail lashed.
The femme growled again, softer, and turned to Shunke, a look of shock passing across her face before confusion and then something of a smirk, or perhaps more an outraged smile, graced her features. “Larka’s Blessing- you can’t possibly tell me that you haven’t heard of it. But, then again,” Lydair’s azure eyes flared. “I wouldn’t expect you to know.” Dropping her head, the fae tensed visibly as Shunke taunted her about Cal. “I’m surprised you would say that. Are you really a member of Sarnes? It seems you have missed out on quite a lot.” Shunke’s yelled word- wrench- brought a vicious snarl to the cobalt Healer’s lips; she would prove what the term ‘yelling’ was. “Wrench? Wrench?! Until this point, Shunke, I have yet to yell at you! Perhaps hearing the cries of innocent Varg have muddled your hearing, for from what I know, you Balkar and Sarnes brutes live to kill your brethren!” The sudden roar of Shunke brought a grinning smirk to Lydair’s short muzzle. She hears voices AND she’s a lunatic. My, my, Shako is in for more than he bargained for when he said his sister joined Sarnes. “So you sneak away from Sarnes? Magnificent. Do you think he won’t recognize the scent of Ge-Rad? As for being a spy? As I’ve once said, you may not be- you simply may be foolish enough to intrude in lands not your own- but that doesn’t mean I can’t assume what I wish! Listen to my words more carefully, she-Varg!” The continuous shouts and snarls of Shunke sickened Lydair. “You truly are mad, aren’t you?” Lydair cried, backing a step away in disgust. She cried out again, now, calling both Koan and Lydair stubborn fools. “You haven’t begun to see stubborn, Shunke! And foolish? I’m not the one trespassing in Sarnes terra and expecting peace!” To her surprise, and extreme fury, Shunke swiped a thin paw at Draeg, only to seemingly realize her actions and collide with a tree; the bark that spewed over the grass brought a wary white paw to Lydair’s muzzle, as if to protect herself from the shrapnel. Shunke fell, heaving, but rose to her paws with words of farewells.
Now it was Draeg’s turn; as the look of puzzlement and astonishment crossed his amber muzzle for Lydair’s even slight regret for speaking of Shunke, Lydair shrugged, although she refused to look at her brother. “It is not my position to decide her fate; I do it -did it- for Shako.” She continued watching her Dragga’s reactions, unsurprised- but suddenly she yelped and bared her fangs, whipping around, her cyan eyes darting wildly as if in search for the origin of the roaring howl that had only a moment ago rocked Ge-Rad. Realizing it was Draeg, Lydair dipped her head in acknowledgement for his words, although anyone who looked hard enough could see the distrust and dislike that gleamed in her orbs- however, upon hearing his decision she bit back an angry snarl, turning only to stare at Shako before lifting a lip and turning away quickly, her gaze now on Koan as he spoke, accepting Draeg’s terms, but challenging him without openly saying words, it seemed- but she took no notice, only giving him a half-smile and nodding as Koan told the hybrid to meet him at the waterfall; she gazed after her mate long after he left, barely hearing Yelae’s words that she wanted to get to know Shunke. Lydair felt her trust in Yelae slowly dwindling, but she ignored Shako and his counterparts, turning to Draeg stiffly. “Thank you for settling this. I’ll see you some other time; at the waterfall, with Koan.” Turning away, her anger evident, she growled in smoldering anger and bounded away, her slender limbs carrying her swiftly through the trees, ignoring the hate-filled thoughts that thudded through her mind.

[glow=black,2,3]The large white male had not spoke, but stood gaping at his once kind and smart sister. She was truly not the same Varg. All anger flooded away, anger that had flooded inside of him. Instead, he felt fear, and pity for the once sane Varg. ‘The Voices! She has the madness!’ that was all that kept in his head, the words of Draeg. Shako wondered, what the pack called Sarnes consisted of, of what kind of madness lie in it. Shunke had only spoke of good coming from the pack, never did it come to his mind that this would happen.
Now a howl rose over the area, the howl of Draeg. He spoke of the Blessing, and the laws she would have to fallow. Shako nodded his head, never could he voice the fear he had of his sister. Atleast, not now. Shako simply wined, the words the gun- gray male muttered to him before leaving rounding in his head. ’...watch her carefully. If she's anything like Nocturnia, she might even attack you.’ And who was this Nocturnia?
So many thoughts went through his mind, he didn’t know what to think anymore. Yelae spoke again, still wanting to get to know the black fea. It broke Shako’s heart to think this way, but perhaps his sister no longer existed.[/glow]

[glow=black,2,3]Anger turned to panic, as she realized the scars of the “attack”, and realizing the Vargs around had been a witness. Shunke didn’t mean for it to happen, she didn’t want to reveal her secret to her brother. But it was too late now, even Draeg knew what was going on. ‘The Voices! She has the madness! ’Shunke wined, lowering her head with embarrassment.
A loud howl broke out, it was the amber male’s howl. He spoke to Shunke, how she was not to come here again without Larka’s Blessing; and to be watched. It seemed like she was a mad captured prisoner, like she could lose control any time and end up fighting one. But I guess I am mad, she though hastily.
Embarrassment turned to hurt, as she caught the white male’s face. He was scared of her, she could tell. Do you really think I’ll attack you? She thought desperately. But in all truth, she knew that look on her brother’s face. Shame and fright, mixed with pity. Koan had it too, before he left. “I’m sorry,” she muttered to Yelae and Shako. It seemed only Yelae was willing to accept her. But the look on Shako’s face, that one look, proved it all. “It was nice to meet you, Yelae,” she muttered to the white faemme. Rounding about, Shunke looked at her brother. “And I’ll always love you, no matter what.” But would he love me?
The weak feamme’s eyes turned on the strict Dragga, her gaze didn’t mingle with his. She simply nodded her head, as an unspoken apology, for causing his pack such disruption. Without a single word after that, she sprinted across the boundary line, with an occasional limp. Only once did she stop to turn toward her brother, to catch his gaze one more time.[/glow]

[glow=black,2,3]Reality coming back, Shako watched as his sister left. She said she loved him, but he said nothing. Even when she turned to gaze back at him, his gaze held no love toward his sister. He didn’t know what to think anymore. Once more, he had caused hurt to this pack, to Lydair, and to Koan with he tried hard to understand. But it seemed only Yelae, sweet, loving Yelae, was the only one to accept him at the moment. Shako padded over to Yelae, licking her white muzzle. “Thank you, for helping. She- she isn’t the same. I- I don’t know who that was.” His voice was starting to break, no wonder Koan held so much hate toward her.
Looking back at Draeg, Shako nodded his head in respect. “I’m sorry for the trouble. She’s different, now. But could you tell me? What lies in the pack of Sarnes? What made her this way? And what happened to this she- wolf one talks about so much with sadness, and hate?”
In all honesty, Shako had no idea what lied in the marshlands of the demented pack. He occasionally herd whispers, but thought them an old grudge against the pack. Now that he though about it, he hadn’t heard anything good about the pack, except what came from his sister’s maw.[/glow]

Yelae nods her head, understanding what Shako had said. She looks towards the way Shunke had left, her eyes thoughtful. There were no readable feelings in those swirling orbs of green-blue, unless thought counted as a feeling. Yelae was, as seen, not the outspoken wolf, but knew how to speak her mind. Before, however, when she was nothing but a mere Kerl, she never spoke what she had thought. It was best in her pack that she kept her maw shut, never to speak words that would sound intelligent, for they would think it would be Wolfbane talking.
The more she thinks about this, the more foolish she realized what her pack was. And now Lydair left, and her heart wavered a bit, hoping that the feeling that the hybrid felt in her heart at the moment would pass swiftly; they had just become friends not long ago. She kneads the ground beneath her uncomforatbley before opening her maw to speak, but then closed it. The she-Varg did not wish to harm any other Varg's feelings any more. Hopefully, she was still trusted in this pack...

Koan readily agreed to the terms that his father laid down for the siblings though Draeg shot him a scathing glance upon hearing his sarcastic comment, he didn’t appreciate the way Koan always seemed to be challenging him. Especial now since the younger varg had chosen to renounce his status in the pack and live life as Kerl once more, though for some reason he still clung to Ge-rad like a moth to a flame. Of course Draeg knew the reason behind this though he made it a point to keep it to himself, in either case he would have to make it a point to remind Koan exactly who the Dragga of Ge-Rad was and that because of his hasty decision he technically had no say in anything that went on in the pack. He watched as Koan began padding away from the small group, distancing himself even further from his former packmates than he had already done as he made his way in the direction of the waterfall where he had been found by Draeg and Huts though he made sure to utter one last warning to Shako, however this time his comment truly sounded sincere.
Lydair had directed her wrath toward Yelae who had backed away submissively upon hearing her Dragga’s final decree, Lydair’s anger came as somewhat of a surprise to Draeg as he had always known his daughter-in-law to be a very patient and respectful varg. However it seemed that the pack didn’t take kindly to anyone that challenged her mate, yet Draeg sensed that there was something more to Lydair’s anger then just that. Something about the red-breasted she-varg seemed to stir the wolf hybrids temper quicker than usual though she might very well have just been venting the days stress and frustration out on poor Yelae, Draeg really didn’t know but he would make it a point to delve further into the matter later when he more time and matters weren’t quite so pressing. However at the moment Draeg was growing tired of Lydair constant instigating, he was about speak when Shunke’s paw suddenly shot out and took a wild swipe at him only to have her realize what she was doing and deflect the blow by sending the limb smashing against the side of a tree, sending fragments of bark flying everywhere like bits of shrapnel. Knowing that it had been an accident the amber varg did nothing though he still sent the dark furred femme a warning glance, as if to tell her to keep her rage under control before he was forced to subdue her. He couldn’t help but wince as he realized that everyone had heard his statement toward Shunke’s sanity, not intending or expecting anyone to have heard him and knowing the repercussions that those six simple words could have on the entire discussion.
Though Lydair dipped her head respectfully to him upon hearing his decree Draeg could see that the cobalt fae was not in the least bit happy about the arrangement, he watched as she turn her gaze over to Shako for a brief moment before stiffly turning her attention back to Draeg. “If you have something you want to say to me than do it!” he growled, scowling fiercely. Lydair may have very well been Draeg’s daughter-in-law but the amber varg was making it perfectly clear that he would not tolerate her challenging him, regardless of whether she was family or not. Draeg sighed as he watched her turn and begin padding after her mate go, knowing that he would eventually talk to her about her behavior today and warn her of the repercussions of her actions before she forced him to deal with her like he had Shako’s elder sister Kairi.
His ear twitched slightly as the sound of Yelae’s voice caught his attention, looking over at the primarily white femme Draeg spotted her sitting close to her mate as she meekly asked him for permission to remain with Shako and Shunke until the duration of her visit was over. A warm smile formed on Draeg’s muzzle and the Dragga of Ge-Rad shot the scout an approving glance before nodding his head. “Very well Yelae, you may stay here with Shako.” He agreed.
Turning his attention back over to the siblings he quickly noticed the look of distress that was painstakingly visible on Shako’s features along with Shunke’s hurt expression, apparently the white wolf was realizing just how much his sister had changed during the past few moons they had spent apart and the realization that Shako might actually be afraid of her must have hurt Shunke deeply for she muttered out a quick apology to both Yelae before padding away from the pair. As she past him she cast Draeg an a quick glance and offered him an apologetic nod, returning her nod Draeg watched her sprint across the pack’s boundary line, occasionally limping from time to time.
Looking back at Shako he listen quietly as the white wolf asked him of Sarnes, clearly wishing to know what kind of pack his sister had joined and find out what had caused her to change from the varg he once knew. His features drooping sadly Draeg cast Shako an apologetic look and shook his head sadly. “Shako you have to understand that I’ve never actually set foot in Sarnes, only the everglades surrounding it so I really couldn’t tell anything about the pack as a whole. I’m afraid that is something you will have to ask Cwen.” He sighed. “However I can tell you that most of the Marshland varg I met are cruel and vicious, though there are a bright few like Mayan that your sister might benefit from.” Suddenly his voice became dangerously low and his eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke. “There is a war coming Shako, after what happened to Cal there is no doubt about it in my mind. Serg still wants vengeance for the humiliation that Cwen and Huts caused him and I won’t lie to you when I say that I wouldn’t mind watching the life vanish from his eyes either, because of this I need to know that you will remain loyal to Ge-Rad now more than ever. I know that it’s difficult for you, especially since there is a chance that you might have to face Shunke on the battlefield, but it is vital that do exactly as I say from now on without question. Your life, as well as the lives of Yelae and the rest of Ge-Rad might just depend on it. Now…” He nudged the white wolf slightly and motioned over to Shunke, who was watching them from her spot outside the packs boundaries. “Go reconcile with your sister while you have the chance, this might be the last time you get to see her on friendly terms. Don’t worry about her being different from how you remember, everyone changes, she probably thinks the same way about you. But the point of the matter is that Shunke is your sister, regardless of the state of her mind or what pack she’s in. I may not like it but I do respect it.” Looking over at Yelae he cast her an amused glance, cocking an interested brow as he padded over to her. “You handled yourself very well back there, I’m impressed, you should speak out more often. I don’t believe I ever got the chance to congratulate you on your engagement to Shako over there.” He chuckled, giving her a playful nip before padding past her. “I trust you’ll keep him out of trouble while he’s with Shunke, normally I’d watch them but I have pressing matters in which I must attend to. Remember what I told you.” With that Draeg, the amber Dragga of Ge-Rad, vanished into the undergrowth.

Why doesn't she speak out as often as most? were the thoughts flying through her head swiftly like a cruel raven pecking at her thoughts. Perhaps it was because...ah, who was she kidding. Her heart was right, her self-esteem was weak however. No matter how strong ones belief is, beating within her own chest, their low esteem weakens their ability to speak. Her pack had caused this, and though she did not like blaming others, it was true. The facts could not be hidden. She was taught from and early age not to speak out, getting negative influences from it. Silence Thorn! one would growl if she spoke out against the treatment they gave her, No one cares about your opinion! and so she was silenced: for good.
However, shaking these thoughts from her head, she lets out a small smile at what Draeg said aftwards, a congrats. Why did many Vargs dislike him so? He was a kind Varg, his words gentle though he knew how to handle a pack. Sure he had two mates, and many found it repulsive and vile that he had a litter with each; but can a Varg love as much as he wants? If his mates have not left him, he must be a good mate.
"I'll be sure to keep him out of trouble," she says, her voice rather happy and content as she looks at her Dragga. And then he rund off, into the undergrowth to deal with other matters, perhaps.

[glow=black,2,3]//Opps, thought Shunke left already. Oh well, I'll play into it//
The white wolf was still at loss for what happened. He didn’t understand why it had to be this way, why she had to be so different. His attention was now turned to the white fea beside him, who looked like she wanted to speak out, opening and closing her maw wordlessly. Shako wondered what was going though that smart mind of hers, but looking deep into the pools of blue green, he could read no emotion. Shako affectionately nudged her neck with his head, hoping that she would understand that she was still loved, and that no doubt should coarse through her mind.
But now, sadness lingered once again on the male’s face, for Draeg knew little of the pack but of the cruel and vicious who lurked, with only a select few bright Vargs. If this pack was so cruel, why would she join? He asked himself. Sadness turned to surprise, as Draeg had told of a war to come between the two packs. That the packs have been shaky since Cwen and Huts caused the Dragga, Serg, humiliation, and the thirsty male will no doubt want revenge. On hearing this, on hearing Draeg’s threat, Shako couldn’t agree more. He wanted to see the Dragga dead, he wanted him to suffer, for what he did to Cal, and for what he did to Shunké. It was at this moment that Shako felt closer to Draeg than he ever has, as if the Dragga himself were Bryrpaw. But deep inside, anger toward himself stirred, he would never let Draeg take his adoptive father’s place, never. Still, Shako saw no need to show his anger toward Draeg now- not when the pack needed to stick so close. “You don’t have to worry,” shako growled lowly. “I will always protect Ge-Rad, and the Vargs in it.” He casted a warm gaze toward Yelae, he would protect her, even if it was at the cost of his life.
Shako nodded his white head at on Draeg congratulating him and Yelae. He was glad that it was him who first saw her in the field, and not some other Varg. But his eyes scanned the area Draeg nudged him toward, and sure enough, Shunké was still around. He wanted to speak with her, but he couldn’t find his voice, and his paws seemed detached. The only think he could do was promise to himself, that he would still protect her, and would never ever harm her. He just hoped that she could read him.[/glow]

[glow=black,2,3] //Sorry for the delay, RL needs a kick in the but. And sorry this post is so short, this thread needed to be over with. Unless if someone else wanted to reply. But Shunke's gone now.//
Whispers among the Dragga and Shakó made Shunké wonder if she was to be attacked. At this point, she didn’t care. The look on her brother’s face made her feel shameful, and detached. He probably doesn't even love me anymore. But who could blame him? I can’t. Nobody wants to share a relationship with someone with. . .‘the madness’. A whimper fell out of the black fae’s lips, as her eyes seemed to grow hot.
She watched Draeg nudge Shakó over toward her, but still, he said nothing. Shunké couldn’t take it any more, she felt as if her insides were being torn apart. Whipping around, she almost fell on her hurt front paw, that tree really did a number on it. As fast as she could, she bolted away from the territory, form the stench of the boundaries. This time, she didn’t look back. [/glow]

//Yeah, I'm done here. But I'd like to add my two cents. I feel that there is some confusion about Shako's personality, and it's not fair to him if I don't speak up. Shako didn't know about Shunke being all demented, and he doesn't know what secrets lie in Sarnes. Do you honestly think he'd let her linger inside the boundries if he really knew what she had become? He's not that stupid, and he wouldn't risk his sister's or pack's necks. He's be afraid she'd snap and kill them or something. Another thing, he's VERY protective of the ones close to him. That's why he got so angry in this thread, he was being protective. Poor Koan, he always seems to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and Shako always ends up saying something he shouldn't have. But really, Shako has been so stress lately with all the drama, only few have seen his usual side. Now, I think he's going to go relax with Yeale before he gives himself high blood pressure. //
