//Draeg, Lydair, if you would be so kind as to be the first two people to post, as I'm here to visit you two mostly, then I would be quite happy. Also, the rest of Ge-Rad is welcome to meet me too if you so desire. Please let Draeg and Lydair post first though.//
BT was almost perfectly silent, if you exclude the occasional stumble induced by her very fragile and thin framework. She wasn’t hurt, merely a little less healthy than before. Her mostly silver-white fur rippled over her body, the small fragments of black clinging to very few sections, but she smiled because even in this deteriorating form, she still had plenty of things that needed to be taken care of. Keeping the ties of friendship bound was one of them. In fact, this particular knot was being filled at this very moment. She was headed from Deor to a neighboring pack. Ge-Rad. The one that dear Draeg had recently assumed alpha position over.
Carefully BT made her way around the bracken and through leaves. Autumn was still strong, but winter would be here soon and it worried her. She didn’t think she would live through winter, and wanted to make sure that she’d at least visited her friends one last time before she made her way to greet Tor and Fenris and Zostar. Her breath appeared in small white puffs in front of her. With each step a print in the ground. And soon the lands of in-between were vanishing and she was nearing the borders of the foreign pack land. One that she’d not even touched yet, she had never had a friend in Ge-Rad, now she had two.
Stopping at the boarder between the unclaimed terra and the Ge-Rad land, she scented the air, her nose twitched at the signs of life. She was bombarded by the strong and unfamiliar smells of Ge-Rad, and it made her a little uneasy, but she still lifted her muzzle. Lips parted, and a strong, calm, harmonious song broke into the crisp, cool, morning air. The rays of Fenris were splintering through the shelter of branches, and the light breeze carried her note higher and higher, up and up over these strange grounds. And soon only the echo lasted. Her muzzle lowered, and she listened, her almost white eyes glistened, she would wait here, at the safety of the boarder.

The snow had long been drifting through Transylvania; the days, shortened and freezing, brought little warmth to the creatures of the once-green land. Spring…it would come again; it would once more breathe refreshing life into the void and blank terra- only the moorlands would remain frosted, bitter to the arrival and life of others, whether they be lera or putnar. One such creature still laid asleep, her white paws curled tightly against her thickly furred chest. Small, white-tipped ears twitched before clasping themselves against a cobalt-tainted skull; the femme stirred, her white lids slowly opening to reveal cyan orbs; their depths held wisdom and cunning for her young age- but she could add another season to her life. Now nearly three years old, Lydair contentedly wound her crescent tighter, a smile flickering about the edges of her pearly muzzle. Many Varg were in dens, their pelt thick yet still not able to keep out the searing winds. This femme’s heritage- half husky, half Varg- provided her a much thicker pelt, for her father’s line was well-adjusted to living the freezing life in the arctic, where only certain species of wolves could survive the wintry temperatures. Here, in Transylvania, the winters could be tepid, if the Vargs were in luck. Amused with the thought, she glanced upwards, but the sky could not be seen from her den. Instinct hadn’t urged her to seek safety in a warm den; instead the cobalt hybrid had chosen to dig into the piling drifts of snow where the biting winds would howl and groan around her, but couldn’t touch her thick fur.
Kicking about, the snow had fallen on top of her at first before it continued to fall, building a dome that covered her entire body and shielded her within her shell of warmth, for the air had no way to circulate and bring in too much of the frosty breezes. Warmth gathered within her, and, a sigh passing from her black lips, she fell into a deep slumber, well-wished for to the fatigued Healer. Not much had visibly happened, but recent events had sent so many mixed feelings roaming rampant through her- some good, some not as such. Her love of her mate, Koan…the fate of Cal, and the new cubs of Uskiya…the presence of her brother’s blood-kin, Shunke…and then the open contempt of Shako by Koan. Again and again she felt torn between them; of course her feelings for the handsome warrior went even beyond love, but she had a softer, shallower love for her white-pelted brother Shako- the warrior, she knew, wasn’t trusted by her father-in-law, Draeg, and Lydair far from trusted the lead warrior Kairi; she had challenged Draeg and Cwen upon their first meeting and Lydair was naturally wary of any harm that could come across the cubs of Ge-Rad, especially Uskiya’s three new cubs and her second brother, Trile. Lydair wasn’t sure if Koan simply didn’t like his comrade warrior- because of a possible torn allegiance to Shako’s father Bryrpaw, previous Dragga of Ge-Rad, from which Draeg had usurped control of Ge-Rad- and although she truly doubted it, she disliked putting any plausible ideas from her mind…could it be because Lydair had, at one time, loved Shako as more than a brother? Lydair laughed out loud and shook her head, but the thought was nagging and she finally growled, resigned…but inside of her, she knew that, if it came to it, she would follow Koan.
Now she thrust her tapered muzzle through the layers of snow, her eyes bright and sparkling with brilliance as she leapt from her hole and shook herself thoroughly, roughing her coat but relieving herself of all lone flurries that had stubbornly clung to her. Suddenly a sweet, mellow howl danced through the air, and Lydair straightened, raising her head to the tune and cocking it as her ears first curled towards the sound, then perked and swiveled behind her, waiting for a resounding answer. When none came, she was relatively surprised, for she recognized the Varg’s voice. ”BT!” she cried joyously, scrambling forward with a series of happy yips. It had been moons since she had seen her old friend from Deor, and the elder Varg was much respected by Lydair. As her slender limbs carried her forward, she lifted her head and let her own call echo through the sky, signaling BT that friends were on their way. A grin graced her muzzle and she slid to a stop upon sighting the gray-silver she-Varg, Lydair barely stopped herself from tangling her front paws and playing the role of the happy-go-lucky fool who ended on her snout in the snow. Her thick tail wagged furiously as it arched over her blue back, and she dipped her head respectfully to BT before sitting back, her tail wrapping around her lean hinds confidently as she regained her calm composure. “BT, how are you? Is Deor doing well? I’m so glad you have chosen to visit us! I’m sure my Dragga will be here soon; perhaps more of Ge-Rad will follow.”

Summer had come and gone, leaving the world in depths of winter as it took the last vestige of warmth with it to make way for the chill of the season. In the realm of Transylvania the land was already covered in a blanket of white as the first snow of season fell to the earth, many lera had either already migrated to their winter homes or entered into a deep state of torpor for the coming months while others went about their business as usual. The day found Draeg happily frolicking about the borders of Ge-Rad, though he was on border patrol the amber varg romping about eagerly like a pup exploring the world outside its den for the first time. Draeg loved snow, it reminded him of his homeland in Skein before he had left his birth pack to set out on his own. He loved the feel of the white powder crunching beneath his huge paws with each step and the way it collected on his fur until it covered him like a blanket, giving his amber pelt a lighter hue until he finally decided to shake it off. And so he continued like this, running across the snow covered landscape and occasionally rolling around in the soft white powder until a familiar howl sounded out not too far in the distance.
Lifting his tail in recognition Draeg’s muzzle broke out into an excited smile and he suddenly broke into a quick trot, his tongue lolling out from his mouth as he quickly made his way in the direction of the beautiful song barking joyfully. The howl had belong to an aging femme by the name of BT whom Draeg knew from his days in Deor as the packs healer, he had been very fond of the pack nurse and was eager to see her again and learn how she and her pack had been doing since his departure about two moons ago. Catching sight of the grayish white femme he gave out another excited yip and pounced on the elder femme playfully, whining happily as he covered her with a wave of affectionate licks and nuzzles. He continued this behavior for a moment, not seeming to notice Lydair sitting a few feet away watching the entire event, when finally he pulled away the amber Dragga jumped back and bent down into a playful bow, his tail wagging furiously above him as he attempted to draw the elder varg into a quick game. “BT, I haven’t seen you since I left Deor. How’ve you been, Zenith and Raikan will be so thrilled to see you. So much has happened since you and I last spoke…” he barked, acting more in the manner that he use to rather than the imposing Dragga that he was becoming so used to being. He stopped upon catching sight of Lydair sitting amidst the snow covered forest floor, embarrassed at having been caught in such an undignified manner he quickly tried to compose himself and assume a more dignified stance in an attempt to salvage some of his lost dignity before dipping his head respectfully to the pair. “Lydair, it’s good to see you again. How’s Cal doing, I haven’t been able to check up on him since his pups were born.”

BT’s tail wagged in recognition of Lydair’s call. It was good to hear that voice again, she’d miss them when she left. But for now she needn’t think of such trial things like that. It was much more important to see them when she is in the world of the living than the dead. She smiled gently and nodded as the bluish-gray friend approached. “Good to see you Lydair. I’ve come to visit, well, because I missed you. How have you been my friend?” but her greeting was cut short.
From the snow came, a rather large shape bounding toward them. She tried to stay on her feet when it collided with her, but she was soon plopped in the snow and struggling to get Draeg off her while laughing. “Good to see you too Draeg,” BT rolled to her side and shook a splay of snow from her fur. She didn’t follow into his playful attitude, she didn’t want to stress her body too much, she didn’t want to break anything that would hinder her however many days she had left.
“I haven’t been able to leave the pack for a while. I’m sure you’ve noticed that it is getting harder to travel with the snow as a hindrance, old bones you know.” she paused to laugh at her joke, she really wasn’t that old, only about five and a half. “And how are the pups? And Firefly too, in fact, how is the pack doing?”

Firefly padded through the now bare and naked forest as she trekked through the ge rad lands. Her pelt of tan was bristled and fluffed up to keep the cold wind out from penetrating her skin beneath. Her light ebon nose wrinkled as she breathed in a sharp breath of cold air. The tan hybrid shook her muzzle and walked on, her feet dragging slowly as they dragged through the brown and matted leaves. She pranced about for a second or too before running at a fuller speed, enjoying the brisk moment of the run before stopping. She trotted on her cyan orbs watching the still forest carefully, as her gaze trailed toward the grey sky, and the blanket of clouds that nestled pockets of snow.
Firefly suddenly stopped and made a jerky movement. Her ears erect as she tilted her head in wonder. Suddenly a strong howl had broken the still calm air. It's pitch was sharp and high and it had belonged to a femme. But to whom Firefly did not know Though she sensed some familiarity. On light fleeted feet she rushed to meet the varg who played a song of Tratto's Blessing.
The going wasn't quite tough but Firefly found that many obstructions blocked her path. Branches and gnarly twigs that ran this was and that ruined her smooth clear road ahead to the visitor. She growled and sprinted on when she finally got closer to the source and toward the borders.
Her ears now erect and sensitive to all sounds she slowed and padded forward, her mouth was ajar as her pink tongue hung out loosely, her chest rising and falling with each deepening breath. Her cyan gaze blinked and squinted to see a group of three wolves. One her mate and the other hybrid, the Healer Lydair. But the other femme, the visitor. Firefly cocked her head and she smiled, She knew that voice, that femme. it was "BT!" Firefly cried with joy as she sprung out to greet the Deor fae. Her tan tail swishing side to side as she approached the varg closer to her first which happened to be her mate. Nodding and giving him a large smile she nuzzled him affectionately before nodding toward Lydair.
She turned to look at BT and smiled. "It is good to see you again BT!" Firefly smiled then gasped and gave a small chuckle and stepped back a step, "oh..I hope I'm not interrupting an important conversation" Firefly said and looked at the three wolves, her tail still wagging but now paced.

Raising himself to his full height and jutting his tail high in the air in a show of dominance Draeg allowed himself to fall into his role as the Dragga of Ge-Rad, though his bushy tassel still flickered from side to side and his eyes shone with deep feeling of pleasure at having seen his old friend again. Though he hadn’t been a part of Deor for very long Draeg had grown exceedingly found of the packs nurse as well as his former Dragga whom he still consider friends, the amber varg had been afraid that both varg might resent him for leaving Deor to become the Dragga of Ge-Rad so quickly after joining but it seemed that his fears had been unfounded.
He took a quick moment to quickly study BT, smiling as he realized that she looked exactly as he remembered her. Almost. Although BT looked relatively the same Draeg noticed that she had become a tad bit thinner than he remembered and it seemed that she was a slight bit ill at the moment though it probably wasn’t anything too serious. Upon hearing BT’s joke Draeg laughed along with the gray femme, though he secretly wondered if it had been wise for his friend to make such a long journey in her condition and worried for her health. “It’s good to see you again BT, Firefly, the kids, and I have all really missed you. Are sure you the journey here wasn’t too difficult for you, I’d hate to think that you’re putting all this stress on yourself just to come see us. If you want I can arrange for someone to escort you back to Deor when you decided to return home, or perhaps I could do it? It would give me an excuse to come see Deor again and catch up with everybody. Speaking of which, how is Chalos and the others doing? And how about you for that matter?” he growled, nuzzling the gray-eyed femme affectionately.
He made as to continued however he stopped upon seeing Firefly emerge from within the thicket, tail wagging furiously as she sprung out to greet her former wet-nurse before placing herself besides the amber varg. Wagging his tail and giving out a pleased whine Draeg returned his mate’s nuzzle wholeheartedly, smiling warmly at the tan femme as he stare lovingly into her cyan blue eyes and nipping at her ear playfully before pressing himself firmly against her side and savoring the feeling of her soft fur brushing against his. Turning back to face BT he gave out an amused chuckle, shrugging his shoulders as he resumed speaking. “As you can see Firefly is doing quite well, she’s adjusting to pack life better than I could have hoped and is a natural born scout and a fine mother.” He beamed, puffing his chest out proudly and pressing himself even closer to the tan femme as he pressed his nose gently against hers for a brief moment. “Zenith and Raikan are doing great as is the rest of the pack, though I know that they still miss you a great deal as do we, don’t we Fly?” He gave out a slight chuckle before continuing. “We’ve had a few problems at first, of course, but that’s to be expected I seeing as Cwen and I are new at this, however things are getting better all the time. Uskiya, our pack nurse, just had her first litter, and they’re all doing very well. Their father is a decent, honest varg completely devoted to his family, I’m sure he’ll make a great father. Speaking of father’s, you seem to be rather well acquainted with Lydair here. Did she tell you the good news by chance?”
The amber varg was purposely leading the conversation away from the packs well being, not wanting to reveal how much tension actually hung in the air with the upcoming war and needlessly worry BT with matters that did not concern her.

"Oh, BT, it's so good to see you as well!" the cobalt femme cried, nuzzling the silver Deor-Varg affectionately, her tail wagging furiously. Cyan eyes gleamed as she sat back; the thudding sound of rapid paw-steps appraoching tilted her head; small, cub-like ears curled behind her but a grin spread across her face with a laugh as her supposedly-dignified Dragga hurled himself forward with a series of yips, showering the older Deor member with licks and nuzzles as he inquired to she and Deor's health. The Healer realized with a warm smile that Zenith and Raikan must have been whelped in Deor; the reason for their late apeparance in Ge-Rad hadn't flared in Lydair's mind since their arrival but she shrugged and quirked a brow at Draeg as he roleld in the snow, much like the cubs she had seen and those she hersefl had romped with. Furious flurries of the ivory powder was sprayed into the air, falling gently over the Vargs as it clung to their fur before it mealted and slid down the thick, silken pelts of the three Vargs. Her mouth cracked open as her pink tongue lolled; panting breaths shot the air out in misty puffs from her leathery black nostrils and her grinning maw as she saw Firefly appraoch them happily; clearly BT was well liked for she had many friends simply in Ge-Rad, without adding the pawfuls she must have outside of packlands and within Deor. "Good day to you, Firefly!" Lydair chirped briskly, listening absentmindedly to Draeg's on-going conversation with the Deor nurse; the cobalt hybrid placed her own happy interjection as she smiled at Firefly with another small nod; "Firefly is doing very well here; we all are under Draeg and Cwen's rule. Zenith and Raikan will surely grow up strong and all of Ge-Rad will pride them." Already the femme held her muzzle into the air; she was not the pack's true nurse but it was quite obvious she held a tender place for all cubs. "Uskiya is doing very well; her cubs are growing well and I'm very proud of them, myself." Lydair's smile deepened softly as she thought of the darling cubs; Chilaili, Ayasha, and Skep were her neices and her nephew; the femme loved them like she would her own- but little did the fae know, it would be but two short moons ebfore her own cubs would be whelped- and little did she know that those very cubs could wield her fate.
"Oh, yes, BT!" Lydair barked happily. Feeling slightly embarassed, but proud none-the-less, she grinned happily at her friend, her grin spreading widely. "Ge-Rad has yet another couple to add to our Varg-population- Koan and I have ebcome mates." The last words were blurted, and she flushed suddenly, dropping her small head with a near-shepish look crossing her features.
(((Eh...sorry for the crapiness. I'm still sneaking on...)))

“Oh Draeg, I’m quite capable of taking care of myself. It was no trouble at all, and it’s not too far from my home. You’re welcome to come visit anytime, be you an escort or not, I’m glad that I caught you all when you were not very busy. I would’ve felt bad if I had been interrupting something important.” She smiled, she was capable of taking care of herself, and she was very much so. “And well, to be completely truthful, I’ve been better. But my spirits are quite high, so don’t you be fussing over me.” she smiled at him and returned his friendly affection.
BT was quite happy to be seeing Fly. “You’re not interrupting at all. I’m quite happy to be seeing you again.” she said with a joking scold. Her eyes glistened like they hadn’t in a long while. “As for Chalos, the poor dear has been in a bit of stress lately. It seems that the more Varg join, the more they disappear. Its like they forget about the pack.” she frowned lightly, the pack was becoming a ghost of its former glory. Chalos and her seemed to be the only ones left willing to live there, the others were just passerby’s.
But soon BT’s eyes turned to regard Lydair with curiosity. She’d not heard anything, but guessed that Lydair had something to do with pups as well. This pack seemed to be very plentiful in that sense there was plenty of young to be watched. “Koan? I think I might’ve met him a long while ago. Back before I was even known as BT anyway. I’m very happy for you. And I wonder if I should tell of my own secrets.” she smiled wistfully at the thought of Fantome, who was currently waiting acceptance into Deor. Chalos didn’t like him much though, he still found Fantome to be a Balkar, she wondered if she smelled lightly of them at all. “I’ve met a wolf, well, a while back, Fantome. He’s still talking with Chalos though.”
Again she smiled, this was a wondrous day, she was getting to see all her friends, and maybe more would appear, perhaps she knew many more Vargs in the Ge-Rad pack than she thought, maybe she would even meet more. But she just had to be happy today, it could be the last time she would ever see them again, and she would hate to vanish from their lives without at least one last goodbye. She just couldn’t let them know she was dying, just sick, just a cold.

The white female's ears pricked up cautiously as she scents the air. She was patroling the area, just for fun and out of bore. Yelae was, rather in fact, quite bored and found nothing more pleasurable than just wandering about. However, she had detected another scent mingled with Ge-Rad, causing her head to rise in a higher position, looking around. She heard familiar voices, and a single unfamiliar one. However, the voices were rather cheerful, so the Varg suspected that the newcomer was welcomed, perhaps an old friend. Yelae begins to aproach the area, her ears and eyes shining with utter curiousity. She still considered herself new, so she wished to know who this welcomed Varg was in this terratory.
Yelae was a quiet soul, and if one did not know any better, may even consider her a Sikla of this pack due to the fact she rarely spoke out. She gave no air of dominance what-so-ever, nor did she hold herself as proud has some did. However, the pack knew she was not of Omega status, and her heart was strong. She was pure-white, however, maiming the purity of her pelt was a bright orange patch of pelt that was on her chest. Her eyes, though not entirely odd, still had some sense that something was not correct with them. They were a bright green-blue. However, when she was a cub they were pure green, lacking the blue hue of the cub's orbs. She had always thought of herself as odd, especially after her pack chased her out of their boundries causing her to live as a Kerl. However Shako, dear Shako, her love, told her of this pack and...well, here she was.
She peaks her head out of the underbrush, however the brush was barren of leaves so it posed as no good cover. But, cover was not what Yelae was looking for. If she was noticed, she cared not; if she was failed to be noticed, then she cared not as well. She wanted to learn who this Varg was, due to the fact she had quite the inquisitive of minds.
((Bleh, I know. But I've always wanted to RP with BT...))

Firefly smiled and nuzzled Draeg before turning her attention back onto the Deor nurse. Fly smiled and chuckled at the nurses joke before padding up and giving her a gentle nuzzle. The hybrid too noticed that the nurse had lost a bit of weight and with the coming winter she would need more food. Firefly let a small whine and looked at Bt with a tilted head when she told Draeg that she was fair and capable in taking care of herself. Fly knew that but she didn't want anything to happen to the silver colored nurse. "B.T you'll always be welcome here in our lands. Perhaps you shall stay a few nights to regain your strength?Maybe even join us i in a little feast? I'm sure Raikan and Zenith will be overjoyed to see you again" the tan wolf dog suggested, her tail curled in an arc wagged happily as her cyan orbs glittered with happiness.
She then turned her head and nodded excitedly to the forth coming news of mates and litters. "Yes, yes! such exciting news" Firefly replied with a nod and gave Lydair a large grin at the knowledge of her and Koan's pairing.
Firefly then smiled and her facade was warm with emotion as she nuzzled the Nurse another time, "thank you B.t" she spoke softly, "For helping me when i first joined Deor. I couldn't have made it without you" Firefly said a broad smile on her lips.
Suddenly a noise and a rustle broke out and Firefly turned to see a white varg padding their way. Firefly recognized this wolf to be Yelae. A quiet femme that seemed to keep to herself. Firefly gave her a smile and a nod of a greeting, "Yelae, good to see you." she said as she sat down on her haunches.

Draeg smiled as BT reassured them that her journey from Deor had not been too taxing on her health, casting her a sympathic glance upon hearing that she was ill but not really thinking much of it. The amber varg couldn’t help but whine as BT went on to explain Deor’s current situation and how their numbers were slowly dwindling, Draeg knew that it was partly his fault for leaving Deor on such sort notice to start his own pack but he had done what he thought was best for his family. Lydair piped in her own little interjection towards Firefly and the pups and Draeg watched as his old pack nurse conversed with the black and white wolf hybrid, chuckling at the look of embarrassment on the pack healer’s face as she told BT about Koan yet at the same time looking quite pleased with herself.
His ears shot up at the mention of the mysterious varg that had come into BT’s life and Draeg found himself craning his head forward eagerly to hear more about this varg that had come and swept the gray femme off her feet, straining his ears as he listened to everything the gray nurse said with keen interest. A warm smile spread across his muzzle as BT told them of the varg that had been courting her, a varg by the name of Fantome, and he cast Firefly a sidelong glance before placing a loving paw over the tan femme’s and flashing her a slight smile, recalling how blissful he had felt when he had courted her. He gave out a sympathetic whine as he heard of Chalos’ reluctance to accept Fantome into Deor, a bit confused as to why the brother of Nocturnia would hesitate to recruit another varg when Deor was in such desperate need of new members before remembering that the two toned Dragga had been quite fond of BT himself and probably felt a bit of resentment towards her new suitor. Or maybe it was something else entirely.
Firefly spoke for the first time since she arrived causing Draeg to quirk an amused brow at her offer, knowing that tan femme would have to be more careful in the future when making offers without consulting either him or Cwen first. While he had no objections to her invitation Draeg knew that Cwen would not look kindly on any varg other than Draeg that lent out such offers without first consulting her as she would probably see it as a direct challenge to her position as Drappa, which was something she would not tolerate from any femme least of all Firefly. Still, Draeg was pleased to see that his mate was still as compassionate and caring as the day he had first met her. There was a sudden rustling in the bushes and instinctively Draeg knew that they were being watched, he made as to turn around however Firefly beat him to it. She gave out a delighted yip as she spotted Yelae poking her head out from amidst the underbrush, giving her a warm smile the amber Dragga motioned for the timid femme to join them with a brief motion of his tail. “Ah Yelae, I was hoping I’d run into you again. How’s Shako doing?” he asked sincerely. “Come and join us, this is BT, an old friend of mine from my days in Deor. BT this is Yelae, one of our three scouts.”

“It is lovely to meet you Yalae.” BT said with a bow, her muzzle dipping, she had natural respect for any and all that she met. One of the reasons why she had no enemies. There was nary a wolf she’d met that she hadn’t liked. And this group was one of the brightest. From Lydair, Draeg, Firefly, and their pups. She was deeply gratified to have met each one of them, it would be a pity to go so soon.
She then nuzzled Fly. “Think nothing of it my friend. It was indeed a deep pleasure to simply be there for you.” She smiled again. BT was glad that Draeg’s pack was flourishing. But it also brought dismay. He didn’t just create this pack. The old Dragga, Bryrpaw, had been quite a good leader, she’d heard so much about it. But it seemed that other than two of his sons, everyone had left the pack. Including his mate. It was always so sad to hear things such as that. She hoped that nothing of the sort would ever happen here or to Deor. They’d been through too many Alphas already.
//sorry that this is short.//
