Heart heavy with worry and fear, the she-Varg takes comfort under a large oak, one of the many trees in the packlands. She had ran so far, she couldn't recall where she was. Wrapping her silver-tipped tail around her weary body, weary from confusion, worry, and lack of energy from the run. The Scout, newest member, was utterly confused by the looks and vibes she was recieving from Lydiar. Yelae, thick with utter tire and strain, closed her now-faded blue eyes before drifting off into a deep slumber. It had been a long time since she had a dream about her old pack, the pack who had shunned her due to her stange appearance. Perhaps it was because she was reminded of it by the feeling of hatred ebbing from the she-Varg. She does not know, but the dream was too real in her mindset.
A lone cub sat by the den, resting her head against the wall of the cave as she watched. Her eyes were bright green. Though it was not unusual for a Varg to have green eyes, none were as vivid as her's. And the blue! Specks of blue dotted her eyes like a robbin's egg in a green nest. Her peltage a beautiful snow-white, though tainted with a firey explosion on her chest of deep orange. The young Yelae lets loose a small sigh as she spots one of her dark-silver siblings glare at her cruely before bounding off towards his mother. "Wolfbane lurks in that cave," she heard her mother say to the cub, Luthe his name was. Though it was clear she was no Wolfbane, many called her that due to the rumors that were spread among the pack due to her unnatural looks. A large paw thwacks the back of her head, causing her to tumble forwards, headfirst into the dirt. Blood glistens on her pearly white pelt as the wound caused by the attack bled. It was in the most horrible spot too, where no tongue could reach. Yelae shakes her head, letting blood splatter onto the ground. Her father's cold yellow eyes gaze into her own as she turned to see who the attacker was. He let loos a snarle. "Lucky for you I had enough heart to watch you while your packmates hunted, little Devil," the Varg spat. His pelt was a light silver, a handsome Varg with large, deadly teeth that almost always protruded from his maw. Now those teeth were flashing at her dangerously as he spoke. "I could have left you here, then draw the Humans near to camp. They'd find you, and KILL you," Traklae snapped. "Then why do you not kill me?" squeaked the pup, having nothing to hide behind. "Because it is a sin to kill one of your pack members, only lowly Kerl and intruders," the Varg says, almost disappointed. He grabs her by her bleeding neck, causing her to wince, and takes her over to the corner of the den, where no light shown. "Why should the light of Frenrir shine upon one such as you?" she hear her father growl as he padded out of the den to sit and await the return of his mate and his two, precious pups.
The she-wolf trembled, but did not arouse. The very thought of her past made her heart tremble and weaken. Her eyes move beneath her lids as the slideshow of her memories continue through her mind.
((Peh, may add more to her memory...))

Carelessly Amaya meandered through the territory of the Ge-Rad pack. Her ears were pulled back, tight against her head as she followed the scent of the deer. She had caught it earlier, but somehow escaped her lethal grip, but got away with a deadly price. A leg wound and a deep gash across it throat, she was surprised it even was able to out run her like that. An exasperated sigh came from her jaws, she was quite annoyed by the fact she had lost her dinner. Now she trailed drops of liquid red, some smeared over the leaves or splotched here and there on the leave carpeted earth. No more than an ebony shadow with piercing violet eyes. Like smoke she glided after he prey.
Suddenly another smell filled her nostrils. The one of another wolf. Her hackled bristled, she was a warrior, protector of the pack. This stranger was one she had not scented before, but she could not be sure. Skillfully Amaya soon found the other, who happened to be a young she-wolf. Her pelt was the light shade of ivory but her chest was the hue of orange. The tip of her tail was dipped in the finest and faintest of silver. Her eyelids were closed, but underneath her eyes darted around restlessly. Her white flecked paws stepped down on the ground without a sound as she came closer. Optics narrowing as she tried to place who this may be. Though she did not wake her, no that would be quite rude. So Amaya simply sat, her bushy tassel falling elegantly across her paws.

Her green-blue eyes slowly begin to open, for her sleep was not restfull nor fufilling. She catches sight of white-flecked paws, and the scent of a Ge-Rad wolf cause her to sit up, eyes wide. It wasn't that she was frightened of this she-wolf, it was just out of utter suprisment that she came to her, and Yelae was not wakened by her oncoming.
Still completely baffled, she let a few wors slip out from under her tongue. "Who are you?" and suddenly she feels the white-hot intensity of embarassment and regret as she asked that, hanging her head down low. She should have know who this Varg was, for they were in the same pack! She shakes her head, closing her eyes for a moment before reopening them. Regaining her senses back, she speaks again, this time more slowly and less slurred. Her voice was quiet, not raucous or displeasing to the ear, yet it left the listener wondering what was happening to Yelae.
"Pardon, what I meant to say was, I'm sorry I did not have the chance to meet you, so let us introduce ourselves," but even those words sounded completely...for lack of a better word...stupid. She continues however, "I am Yelae, a new Scout to this pack..." she says, looking down. Yelae felt meek and feeble as she said these words, and looking down showed her embarassment. It always seemed as though her eyesight wandered, though she really was interested.
OOC: Bah, couldn't think of anything else to write...so bear the stinkyness!

Amaya raised a brow as the she-wolf quickly rose, then sat blinking at her, eyes still dull with sleep. "Who are you?" The question caught the Ge-Rad warrior by surprise, but she answered it any ways. Truthfully, she was thinking the same thing. The ivory femme suddenly looked down a bit, embarrassment creeping up into her face. The violet orbed fae herself felt a little humiliated by the fact she did not answer. Awkwardly she looked down herself, gazing at her own black and white dappled paws. But she abruptly raised it as the other spoke. Her words were soft and kind. Amaya nodded in greeting, lips parting as she replied. ‘That is fine, I myself must admit to the fact I have never really seen you before either. So, we are even. My name is Amaya, I happen to be a warrior of the pack.’ The last part there was a hint of pride in her voice, though she once more felt her face flush. ’I happen to be a warrior of the pack’? That sounds so stupid! She did her best to shake off the unease. Amaya felt the sudden urge to change the subject and end the sudden placid silence that grew between Yelae and her. Gazing up at the oak, which looked almost as if it were on fire from the orange and yellow leaves with flecks of read and the sun shining through the laden branches. "Such a fine day it is. Cold, but the scenery is spectacular. Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons. I just love watching…’ She stopped her rambling, looking at the milky white she-wolf, wondering why she seemed to solemn and quiet. Or maybe it was just her imagination. ‘So, what do you think?’ Amaya added, almost sounding nervous now, but forcing a small tight smile. It was weak, but friendly.

[glow=black,5,300] A silver varg walked through the forset that belonged to Ge-Rad. Te smells were all so familar. The varg moved at a leasurly(sp?) pace. She was so glad to return to her old home, her only home. The day was crisp and cool, a perfect day in Nyobe's eyes. This was close to the time when she deserted the pack out of despair of her deceased brother and sister. In rememberig this Nyobe dipped her head in shame.
How could I have left them like that? I left the only family I have ever known without even leaving a trace or saying goodbye. And then I come back to my family and they welcome me with open arms. New faces, new smells....everything has changed so much...yet this place is still fresh in my mind.... I never should have--
Nyobe paused in her thoughts as she caught wind of two vargs. This time no growl escaped her, for she knew that she was in a safe territory oncea again. The wise varg circled around, making sure that she was upwind of the others. In all her life she never once just walked in on a group of vargs...she was wiser than that. So much danger could come out of it. Maybe I should be more trusting of my pack memebrs. They shouldnt try to harm me....but my mind tell me different. Why has it always been like this? Can I not trust another....can I even trust myself any longer? Nyobe shook her head slowly, dissappointed at the moment.
Nyobe crouched down as she saw the other vargs in the forest. One was a beautiful creamy white, the other an ebony color. Like Nyobe's eyes, the darker varg had unaturally dark eyes. Odd...I've ever seen another varg with eyes like mine.... She crept closer to the varg and paused, realizing that she stuck out like a aore thumb because of her silvery coat. The varg decided to give up on eavsdropping a stood up. Nyobe walked up quietly to the other two, hoping that she would be greeted rather than shunned...[/glow]

"Hmm?" She was still lost in thought, her eyes glazed over thoughtfully. She rises into a sitting position, revealing her chest. The white morphed into a bright firey-orange colour, maiming the purity of her silky pelt.
Thinking her words over in her head, she gives a small nod, looking away for a moment. "I guess Autumn could be a good month...though following it comes barren and snow," she says, her eyes suddenly catching the prescence of another. Curious, she scents the air, only to find that this Varg was new to her senses. Was she part of the pack as well? pondered she. Yelae shakes her head before turning back to Amaya, shocked at her own rudness for not introducing herself. "Oh, I am Yelae, Scout of Ge-Rad. I suppose you can call me a new recruit."

[glow=black,3,300] Nyobe looked at the varg as she was greeted. She presented herself as a scout, and at this Nyobe cocked her head. She was once a scout and is a scout once more. But the varg that stood before her seemed young, and couldnt be part of the old pack. She shook her head slowly thinking to herself, I can already tell that things will not be the same around here without Talla or Bryr...but I trust the newest Dragga, Draeg. I've known about him for years, but have never actually encountered the varg....
Nyobe snapped out of her thoughts and answered back to Yelae, "I am also a scout, Yelae....but I am no new recruit, in a sense. I was a member of this pack long before the new alphas came. I had to leave due to some...uh...family issues. But I returned and Draeg welcomed me back and granted me the position of a Scout," the varg paused and snickered to herself as she remebered something that would be pretty important to her new pack mates, "Oh, sorry...my name is Nyobe." She grinned and walked around a little to see if the enevironment was truely unchanged since her leaving. her smile became bigger as all the familar sites and smells filled her senses....[/glow]

Yelae pauses, thoughtful for a moment as she registers her fellow Scout's words. It was nice to meet another Varg who had the same job as her, and their meeting was not hostile. However, she was not the sort of Varg who had hostile meetings nowadays, unless one counted the fated encounter with Lydair. However, they now made-up and were friends, and so far, Yelae had made no enemies at the moment.
She watches Nyobe's smile form, and it causes her to let a small, faded smile come upon her lips: but this is the way she usually smiled while in thought. "It is a pleasure meeting your, Nyobe," she says finally, nodding her head, "I am certain that you are quite happy to have rejoined with the pack. " SHe rests her head back, looking up at the sky. "I guess I can still be considered new to the pack, I had joined some time back, but not long enough to be a truly 'valued' member. There are still some Vargs I have yet to know personally, yet I share the same terratory with them."

[glow=black,3,300]At those last words, Nyobe paused. She stopped walking around and let her paw hit the ground silently. She had never thought of that before, There are no old members of Ge-Rad left....none that I know of anyway.... Her expression was that of confusion and then Nyobe sat down, "I used to know everyone in this pack....but I am afraid I can't say the same now....I know only Lydair, Draeg, and you....personally I mean. I have heard of others in the pack but have never encountered them. Then again, I have only been here less than a week," she shrugged then continued, "We'll see..."
Nyobe treaded slowly towards Yelae and stopped a little past the varg, "How far away is the den from here? And how far away are we from the boundaries?" She wanted to set up posts for the small team of scouts. She wanted them near the border, but not too far away from the den incase something approaches the den without their knowing....[/glow]
