The she-wolf's heart thumps in her orange-hued chest. New to this pack, and a new scout as well. And it was all thanks to her wonderful friend, Shako...her only friend. Perhaps, the only wolf she was ever close to. Her blue-green eyes wander aimlessly. looking curiously around her new pack. She wondered where Shako was, so she could thank him for bringing her into this pack.
The silver tip of her tail gleams in the sun, and it did not look as faint as it was before. Yelae takes in the sunlight, feeling the cold air entangle her fur, while she relaxed on her pack's terratory. She finally belonged. She shuts her eyes, letting it all sink in as she sits there, her tail now wrapped around her.
She had yet to meet every-wolf, yet she had the faint sense of hope that they would accept her. They wouldn't fear her strange coloured eyes, nor would they call her a Thorn. The will call her Yelae, proud, proud Yelae. Scout of the Ge-Rad pack.
Or, they will learn about her past. A shadow crossed through the she-wolf's thoughts. They would learn of her terrible past, and she would only have Shako to lean on...unless he turns on her, too. No! She shakes her head to clear the negative thoughts, No! She would never let that happen, never. She did not want to be friendless Kerl...never again will she be...hopefully.

A lone figure moved through the trees. Yellow optics staring out into the distance, looking for any intruders or even just a nice tasty snack. Cal's muzzle poked through the bush as he continue to patrol the Ge-rad lands. It was his job to perform his scouting duties from time to time. He enjoyed the job very much, since he signed up for it in the first place. Remembering the day where Draeg had accepted him even though he had caused so many family problems for him. Letting out a small snarl as he thought back of the incident, it had been a bit his fault, but most of it was coincedence. But ever since he had joined the pack he felt that he could truely call it home. He was loyal to the end, and he would help Ge-rad grow and become like what it was before. Also, he was very thankful to his Dragga that he had found a new home now, and he had made many friends here. And if one day should he have pups, then another generation will have happy times here, something he did not have in his childhood. So, he felt that he should do this job rght and proper, so that someone that wasn't welcomed would trepass here. If that had happened, he would be in a lot of trouble and he would be putting his own packmates in danger. The breeze ruffled his brown coat as he continued his slow walk, sharp eyes looking and detecting any signs of movement. Letting out a sigh yawn before slowly continuing his walk on the fallen leaves.
Moving through a couple of thick trees and finally reached the clearing. In the small amount of time he knew the packlands quite well, where an efficient source of water was, and food of course. Staring up now at the mutli-coloured leaves and smiling at the different colours that bloomed. As the breeze continued to blow, his eyes diverted to something else. Something was moving in the distance. The scent he had was quite unfamiliar, it was definitely a stranger walking nearby. Letting out a snarl Cal moved quickly through the trees and came into the clearing where a fae was pacing herself very slowly. His snarl fading as he thought that this might be a new recruit, and it would look pretty bad if he chased him off. A smile toke it's place as he moved closer to the faemme, yellow orbs catching hold of her blue-green ones. Fenris's rays gleamed off her coat as Cal made his presence known. "Hello, lovely day isn't it? I suppose that you're a new recruit to Ge-rad are you not?" said Cal politely. "Well, I am Cal. Emissary of this pack. Pleased to meet you."

[glow=black,2,3] The large, white and fadded gay male fallowed the scent of his friend, Yelae. he heard she was accepted into the pack, and wanted to congradulate her, personally. After all, he took her from being a lonley Kerl, and wanted to teacher her that there was other kind Vargs around, other much kinder than the ones who banneshed her.
Heavy paws pounding against the dried leaves with no such thought, his ears perked to the sound of voices. He waffed the scent of Yelae, and another known Varg, Cal. His heart pounded exidedly, he was close to Yelae, and would get to see Cal again.
Coming to the clearing, he saw the white Varg, and the large brown too. Shako padded into the clearing, crushing the leaves noisly but uncaringly. "Hello, Yelae!" He barked exitedly, his tounge lollying out over his white fangs. "I just heard- Congradulations!" He aproached the two vargs, and sat inbetween them, making a kind of triangle.
His gold orbs now turned to Cal. "and Cal- it's nice to see you again! I haven't seen you since the woods. So, is all going well? With bth of you?" He added, turning his back to Yelae, but yet double taking on Cal.[/glow]

"Oh yes!" she says, replying to both questions at once. "Pardon for not introducing myself, Cal, but I am Yelae, one of the newest Scouts of the Ge-Rad pack," she bobs her head, "It is a pleasure meeting you as well." She looks at Shako.
"Its actually Shako who brought me here...I was a Kerl, and had no where else to go. So, Shako told me to join this pack. And so far..." she blushed, "I'm enjoying every moment. For once, I am not a lonely wolf, but a she-wolf that is part of a pack.
She stands, looking at both of them with her odd coloured green-blue eyes. "So, Cal, are you a close friend of Shako? You seem like it!"

Whirling around to see Shako padding over to the clearing. At last he saw him, he knew that he had been a member of this pack before Draeg and Cwen toke over. Seeing another familiar face was a good thing for Cal. "Shako, always nice to see you again. I am doing well, everything is going fine. Hope things are in the light for you too" said Cal excitedly. Indeed it was, living his perfect life right now with his packmates and Uskiya. Doing his duties as emissary to represent his alphas in rival packs. Turning around to look at Yelae, glad that they indeed had another recruit to the pack, it was growing indeed. "Ah, a scout eh? Well, I suppose you and I both have scouting duties then." chuckled Cal. Delighted to hear that Shako had brought one of his friends to this pack.
"Well yes, I met Shako long before, remembering when he was a cub. Oh yes, those were the days, it's a shame those days didn't last too long and I had to move on. But I am always happy to see that you have grown into a fine Dragga indeed." said Cal. "Warrior aren't you?" Yellow optics flickering between the two, feeling that Yelae was new, she should go and meet some of the other packmates and perhaps a small tour around Ge-rad lands. "Yelae, would you like to go on a little tour around here? I am sure in time you will learn to call it home."

"Oh yes, oh yes," the she-wolf says, nodding her head greatfully. I have yet to meet all the Varg in this pack, and I do wish to know that terratory a bit better," she murmurs quietly, "So I would not happen to wander in another pack's terratory."
Pack life was new to her, but it was surely a bliss and she was enjoying the moment. So far, this new wolf, Cal, she met, seemed to be a kind wolf. And Yelae was proud to call a place her new home, and overjoyed that she was sharing it was kind and considerate wolves. She rises, long elegant legs sturdy to hold the Varg upright and proud. The silver tip of her tail was pricked, and her ears swirved this way and that, looking at both of the wolves standing before her.
The red pelt upon her chest glistened slightly, and the cooling breeze felt marvelous, though she knew she may tire of the cold soon. When winter came, there would probably be a lot of snow.

[glow=black,2,3] The large white and fading gray wolf wagged his light gray tipped tail, "Yes, things have been very well for me." he raised his head, eyes stairing into the leaves. "The change in Ge-Rad is new, no doubt about it." He was, of course, refering to the new change of Draggas. Shako would never know if he would get used to the change, after all, Byrypaw was his father.
But his gold eyes turned to the beautiful femme infront of him, here, in his own pack lands. Their packlands. "Yes, things are going very well indeed. . ." his voice trailed off for a second, before Cal spoke again.
Shako wagged his tail lightly again, even though he could scarcely remember the short days he spent as a Kerl. "Yes, we go way back. Back to the time when I was a cub, a Kerl." he hoped that this information would cheer Yelea up more, and giver her hope for his future.
But at Cal's next words, Shako flushed with pride. A Dragga, Cal had refered him to. "Yes, I have followed my blood, and a warrior I have become. And I've heard you've become an Emissary? Well done, well done indeed! So, how's Ge-Rad for you, so far?"
Now he looked back at Yelae, his orbs dancing. "I'm truley glad you were able to come join. Is all going well, so far?" [/glow]

(((Hope you don't mind me posting, Shako. This is where the fireworks start.)))
From the shadows, a pair of azure orbs snapped open, but suddenly long, slender jaws opened and overshadowed them as the femme yawned. Her long, slender limbs stretched out and pulled taunt as she worked the muscles in her shoulders, blinking rapidly to clear the sleep from her eyes. Pulling herself up, Lydair shook her thick coat and started off, shoulders and hips bouncing to keep up with her lithe paws that moved rapidly through the trees.
Cyan orbs gleamed softly, but it transformed into a gleeful sparkle as she scented her pack-friend Shako, along with Cal- and a new femme, one which she did not know. Cocking her head with interest, Lydair's tail flew out behind her as she lunged into a slow run, fleet limbs covering the ground in long strides. Her curved ears perked and she heard her friend's voice; tail wagging she stepped from the bushes, grinning.
"Shako, Cal!: she cried happily, trotting forward, blue eyes glinting. She turned to face the white femme before her, and nodded with a friendly smile. "Good day to you, she-Varg." Lydair barked, stepping forward. "I'm Lydair; pleased to meet you..."
(((So sorry. A bit of writer's block, I'm afraid. >.<)))

"Oh!" it appeared as though she did not need to travel far to meet knew members, they were coming to her. "Its a pleasure to meet you as well, Lydair," she says, testing this she-wolf's new name on her tongue.
She bobs her head, still confused, yet slightly embarassed at all the comotion she caused. "I am Yelae, a new Scout to this pack," her maw widens into a pure smile, friendly and warm. It was funny how a she-wolf this kind led a life so miserable in her first year.
"Pity the Drappa's daughter is not like her," snapped an elder, gazing cruely at a young Yelae. His scarred muzzle pointed towards the she-varg, as though the oposing wolf, a younger male, did not know who she was. "Aye," agrees the male, "They say her blue-green eyes were a symbol she sold her soul to Wolfbane and the fire upon her chest must be from Hell itself! Pity such a lovely she-varg like Rose could produce such a...a thorn! At least she does not have the Sight, that would be terrible." Yelae had hung her head at their words, filled with grief. She was a horrible wolf. After all the negative comments she recieved, she believed it. "I am a Thorn," she growls, bowing her head over and leaving the group of wolves. It was at that moment in time she thought it would be best to become a Kerl, yet she did not know they would kick her out soon after.

Cal gave a warm smile as he watched Yelae. Not mentioning anything about her strange appearance. He knew from Firefly and Lydair, that they were both half-breeds. But he didn't mind as they were both his dearest friends. Surely, blue and green eyes wouldnt' mean anything, Yelae looked like a kind varg and one that the brown he-varg would like to befriend. "Yes yes of course. You will also need to see some of my dearest friends in this pack. You met Shako of course, but there are many others. I am sure that pack life will suit you just fine." growled Cal. Chuckling a little as the white male praised him as being an emissary. Personally, Cal didn't find it too important of a job, but at least it was something that he could enjoy. Socializing with other packs and having the pride of representing Ge-rad was enough for him. Also, coming back once and awhile to visit Uskiya and his friends here. "Heh heh, well, thank you Shako. I am quite happy to be a part of this pack. Glad that you're doing just as well as the rest of us."
Sensing the presence of another before they came. A familiar scent whoffed into his nostrils, and he knew that Lydair was here. Turning around he gave a bark to greet his friend, he padding over to her and licked her once on the muzzle. "Lydair! It's wonderful to have you join our little conversation. I hope that life is serving you well so far." shouted Cal happily. He also wanted to thank her for her care during the time where he was trapped at the stone castle. At the time, he had sustained an injury on his muzzle and it was her who came to his aid. Before he could open to utter a single word, Lydair and spoken and greeted the others. Wheeling around to face the others, "Yelae. This is Lydair. Lydair is our healer and one of my good friends. So when you ever have a problem, you can always count on her to heal your wounds.

The she-Varg nods greatfully, blinking warrilly at the wolf with deep green-blue eyes that could peirce the heart. Her chest, orange-hued, warmed herself due to her thick peltage. She nod to Lydair, eyes sparkling once again.
"I shall come to you when I need any help in your area of experties," Yelae murmurs, eyes lowering to the ground. Her heart thumps, wary of the feelings she now felt coming from this she-wolf, and from herself.
"I'm not used to having a Healer in a pack," she says suddenly, "My old one, never had a Healer. If you were injured or sick, you would have to find the cure yourself." She clamps her maw shut after she says this, a look of worry crossing her eyes and a slight flicker of green passes over the blue, but then turning back to normal...or at least as normal as her eyes were.
She never spoke about her pack in front of others, before, never. Her heart pounds, louder in her ears and she felt blood rush to her face, though one could not see her blush. They can never learned what they said about me...never, she tells herself, Then, I surely will be shunned, just as before. Call Yelae paraniod, but she had every right to fret over such a thing. She always faced persecution in her life, and never once did she have a free shoulder to lean on.

[glow=black,2,3] Shako scented another wolf aproach, his friend, Lydiar. "Hello, Lydiar!" he said happily. He wanted best of all for Lydiar and yelae to meet, two of his best friends.
"Yes, I saw her ork, and a wonderful healer she is." Shako said, beaming. His white ears swivled around to yelae, as she spoke. "Neirther did my old pack," he said as a matter o- factly. "But it's a good change, I must say."
Shako wagged his tail happily, his three closest friends werea all here together. His golden eyes lingered to Lydiar, then to Yelae. His heart seemed to skip a beat as he let his gaze linger on her, but then feelings turned into confusion as his eyes turned to Lydiar. He shook his head once more, his heart seemed to nag toward Yelae. What's going on? he though. Am I falling- falling in love?

Lydair’s fur ruffled and her claws picked at the earth; her gaze, such a bright cyan, turned icy and cold. Her smile warm, yet bitter, mimicked that of her companion of late, Koan, and although she was happy and friendly much of the time, the way Shako gazed at the femme, like he had gazed at her, darkened her mood. ”Yes.” she growled softly, staring at Yelae before her azure orbs darted to Shako, and then Cal, ”I am our healer.” Her muzzle and tail raised in boldness and pride. She shook her graceful head and tried her hardest to listen to the warrior’s praise, she felt it was hollow. The cobalt-and-white hybrid turned to Cal, who was the mate of her best friend, and her sour smile enhanced into a widening grin. ”Good day to you as well, Cal…and again, congratulations.” She knew how pleased Cal was when he found out Uskiya was pregnant, and she was glad for them both. Turning back, she listened to Yelae and trying her hardest to not place her gaze longingly on Shako. ”My mother and I were the healers in my previous pack, although we were ostracized.” Lydair drooped visibly at the memory. ”My heritage –it makes me proud, do not get me wrong- got us exiled.”
